You have the opinions of real people who are using the services and products of eMichael Pharmacy & Medical Centre (Pharmacy) near Oakville (Canada).
Right now the business has a score of 3.3 over 5 and this score was based on 86 reviews.
As you can read, the average of ratings that it reaches is average, and it's founded on a very large number of reviews, so we may say that the assessment is very accurate. If people have bothered to value when they've done well, it works.
You know that we don't usually bother to write feddbacks when they are positive and we usually do it only if we've had a problem or issue...
This Pharmacy belongs to the category of Medical Center.
Fast service. Great staff. Really friendly
Not happy. I made an appointment cancelling work because I was supposed to do blood work and when I went in they didn't do it instead they gave me a requisition to do the blood work so I fasted for nothing and now to book blood work I have to yet again take work off to do to. Ridiculous.
Very friendly receptionist to the doctor and the staff in between even the pharmasict is great Ive never recieved more genuine care or help. I've visited them a few times now and each time they've been wonderful. The first time I called no one answered but they actually called me back and I am so grateful they did. Dr Goher is a very nice and caring doctor. The whole clinic is very clean and respectful and the wait time is not very long at all!
I helped my friend build a deck for his back yard and got some dust in my eye which possibly irritated it which made my vision blurry in one eye. Went to see a doctor at this location, but the doctor was not there. The "assistant" looked in my eye and said she couldnt see any foreig particles. She managed to get the doctor on a video call who prescribed me 3 antibiotics (pills, ointment and eye drops) for 200$ and said if it doesnt help by TOMORROW to come back so she can refer me to a specialist. Do yourself a favour and dont waste your time. Southdown clinic is only 4 minutes away from this location and there are doctors inside!
If you are looking for a family doctor. Keep looking. They do not care about their clients. If you book any appointment even 3 months in advance and they will cancel it the day before because the doctor is not available. Also they do their physicals through Skype. How can you do a physical when your not physically there? Your family doctor will only be available once a week for 1 hour of work and thats not even an exaggeration its the actual amount of time she is in during the week. You could choose to see other doctors but keep in mind they are not your family doctor and this could effect what they can and can not do for you. Just terrible.
Not happy.
All the staff here are so friendly and pleasant to deal with.
I love EMichael Pharmacy. The pharmacy is under the direction of the nicest pharmacist in the world (Eman Michael). It seems weird to say that I love going to a pharmacy but I absolutely feel like they care so much about what they do. My medications are always perfect and ready on time and they are given with a huge smile and the nicest well wishes. They remember all of their patients by name and always double-check to make sure that the patients are getting exactly what is best for them. In this fast-paced world it's really nice to see this kind of dedication.
Dr. Gurguis provided advice on a medical situation that may be cancer or another serious matter without even asking for a simple blood test. A family member who has a long lasting cough from an environmental allergy was not allowed to be seen out of fear of COVID, even though the individual had tested negative a few days prior. COVID worry is understandable but to decide on what to do on a condition that might have severe impacts with total blindness is not acceptable. Not sure how this doctor was hired and deciding on things that can have life long or even life threatening impacts on a patient. Even though the doctor refused to see the patient because of his cough and out of fear of COVID, he was invited to come back a week later to conduct the mini operation blindly because the operation comes with money. This speaks to the values of the doctor.
garbage. absolute garbage. im surprised people there are qualified. in october, i went in for swollen tonsils. they gave me three rounds of antibiotics and insisted i take penicillin until JULY when they got me an ENT appt. went to the hospital only to find out i didnt need any antibiotics because it was simply tonsillitis. today, dr rose changed my birth control prescription without asking me or telling me after i said i had no concerns with the one ive been taking for a year and a half. go anywhere else but here. have never left a review anywhere but im doing this so you know how absolutely GARBAGE this place is. the receptionists are sweeties though
I feel comfortable in this medical office. The doctors and the staff are very nice and caring. I'm happy I found this place for me and my family. The front desk staff and pharmacist are like family! Waiting time is normal like in any other doctor's office.
Only doctor with a walk-in in the area. Professional and to the point. Pharmacy makes filling prescriptions easy.
Yesterday I ran out of my medication and did not realize that the pharmacy closed earlier on Saturday. I called and left a message because the medication is very important. About 2 hours after I called the pharmacist called me back and said she will drive to the pharmacy after hours so I can get my medication. There are truly amazing people and this pharmacist is one of them. I would highly recommend this place, they truly care for the community.
Provides holistic care for clients
Love the pharmacist and the people at the front desk!! They are so wonderful. However there are a couple downsides to this clinic. Surrounding walk in clinics often have shorter waiting times which is disappointing. Furthermore Dr. Rose is not often available in person, but only by telehealth: some sort of medical professional sits in the office, you tell them your symptoms, then they skype Dr. Rose and restate everything you said and only then do you get a diagnosis. It is an inefficient process, and only really benefits Dr. Rose, as she gets stay home. It seems unprofessional to talk to your doctor while they are in their car, running errands or whatever. Obviously you have the choice not to use the telehealth service but the wait times are then even longer :( The actual quality of medical service is mediocre. After spending my entire childhood suffering throat infections, they continued to severely affect me. Throughout high school I continued to have them and I missed more than a month of senior year because they got so bad in the end. Visited urgent care multiple times and kept coming back here to figure out a solution. After some blood tests, all they did was keep prescribing antibiotics...I was on them nonstop for almost 3 months. In the end I finally got a referral to an ENT, but my grades and health were severely impacted before they got around to this. The ENT said he was surprised they waited so long to refer me considering the amount of scar tissue was on my tonsils. After removing my tonsils, he told me to go back to my family doctor to get a referral to an immunologist if these infections persisted. They did, and I came back here as Dr. Rose is my GP. I walked out of that appointment feeling very disappointed as the doctor who I saw, did not hear my concerns, simply tested for strep again and offered another prescription for antibiotics. This is not the first time they have disappointed me. After finding a mild vitamin B deficiency, the doctor recommended getting injections. I fell for the money grab. The first solution should have been oral supplements (that I could pick up at any shoppers), rather a prescribed medication (that they make money off of) and an order to come back once a month (again, seemingly to make more money). But overall the clinic is decent; Christina, I believe her name is, is awesome at drawing blood and I barely feel anything at all. Not sure if it's because I'm there so often, but the staff really makes me feel like they know me and the environment so friendly. Unfortunately this doesn't really make up for the lack of proper service. I tend to now just go to walk in clinics instead. TLDR: wait times = long, telehealth = sketchy, service = poor/a money grab, receptionist/nurse/pharmacist = super nice and I love them.
No helpful at all
I have been attending the clinic for bi-weekly for allergy shots and other miscellaneous issues. The staff are really pleasant and appointments are on time. Dr S. Goher is an excellent doctor to deal with, easy to talk to and has helped me. Thanks for providing great medial service.
Great pharmacy, great doctors and great pharmacist. Personable, helpful and caring. Far better then corporate pharmacare.
The doctors and staff are all caring and provide great service.
My toe nail has started become ingrown due to construction boots, and has started to swell and emit puss, and this repeats every 3-4 years. Check in 3:10pm Thursday. See Doctor 5:20pm. I ask for the blister to be drained, but Dr. Rose was too lazy to even do anything but argue and give me a referral immediately within 5 seconds of seeing my toe... She wont help you with immediate problems that are simple to solve, and will only prescribe anti-biotics where not needed. 2 other Walk-in Clinics I visit have no problem relieving the blister while I set an appointment for my specialist, per usual. I went to eMichael due to my regular doctor being on vacation. Go see Dr. Mouldey up the street at Southdown Medical. Unfortunately, do not visit Dr. Hannah at said location because she provides the same results as eMichael. Damned waste of my evening with 0 results.
I visited the clinic for the first time 2 weeks ago and was seen by Dr. Goher he did an outstanding job. He was very affable and took the time to look at my medical history to figure out the exact diagnose of my case. I highly recommend Dr. Goher and this clinic.
Excellent Drs & Excellent staff. Specifically Dr. Rose, who has excellent diagnostic skills. Me & My family regularly visit her & have always found her to be very accommodating and is on the spot with her diagnosis. Clinic has excellent staff. Specifically administrative assistant 'Aimani' is a gem & it is always a pleasure to talk to. The Pharmacist 'Eman' is great and is extremely helpful. The only thing they could improve on is reducing wait times. Clinic is very busy at times thus I would recommend that clinic should hire more Drs for busy hrs.
Money grab with underqualified staff making horrible decisions affecting people's lives
I came in the pharmacy to get my prescription and the person was rude it was horrible experience and very bad customer service never going back again
I am not satisfied with the quality of service they provide. I am seriously considering changing my doctor... She doesn't know anything.
Dr. Saber Goher is a very kind and helpful doctor. I want to thank him for all his help. He does excellent work. Amani in the reception is also very friendly and kind and helpful
Very caring and compassionate workers! A little slow but only because they believe in quality service!
Would NOT recommend seeing Dr Rose. She’s missing people skills and completely forgot that she’s here for your better health.
Worst doctor ever; waste of time.
DO NOT GO HERE. Staff were disorganized and unhelpful and wasted my time. Tiny cramped waiting room with few places to sit and super long wait times.
Great doctors
Everyone at this clinic is very kind, caring and professional. I’ve tried many family doctors and this is by far my favourite. Dr. Goher is a great doctor and so is Dr. Rose. The receptionist makes my day with her kindness and positive vibes. Definitely recommended!!
Awful doctors. Caused me more harm then good. I went there a total of 4 times and all visits where terrible.
Dr Saber Goher is amazing doctor I’m very happy to see a perfect doctor in Canada
Dr. Race is fantastic.... and brilliant. Very patient, a good listener and knows her stuff.
Doctors are quite professional and friendly..
I would give them 0 if I could . My mom DIED all because of a misdiagnosis from dr George. She was told (like with many other patients at this clinic ) she had an ear infection ... seems to be the go to for the drs here . She absolutely did not have any type of ear infection . and passed away within 30 days of dr George’s completely WRONG diagnosis.. even tho we continued to see him every week to follow up. This clinic KILLED MY MOTHER. Please, don’t give them the opportunity to take your family from you with their carelessness too.
I’ve had excellent service in the past at this walk-in clinic however now they’ve switched to “telemedicine” which is where the doctor could be in her bedroom talking to you via Skype while a supposedly fully trained physicians assistant follows her instructions to poke and prod you. I accept that type of medical care when I’m living in a village in Alaska but not when I’m living in the midst of millions of people. This set-up is nothing more than a money grab by this doctor and does not represent the health care people should have access to in the GTHA.
Went to the clinic and was told to call and leave voicemail. I did and no one returned my call
Lovely people
The service was excellent, Dr. Rose is so caring and understanding, and is professional in the way she deals with patients.
Great people
Great Staff, Great service!
This place is staffed primarily by a doctor and female medical staff / receptionist. Both reasonably pleasant with me during my initial interview, however I sense a degree of sanctimony which is typical of doctors hailing from India. He wants me to repeat a thorough examination that was initially performed by my prior practitioner just over a month ago. It seems that I may have more to discuss with the staff during my subsequent visits.
Asked for something simple my brother called and asked if they faxed over my sick fathers pain medication since he was too ill to come down himself... You tell my brother you did it already and had faxed it over to shoppers when clearly you didn't.... So why do you lie?
Not sure how these "doctors" got their license. Save your time & energy, and DO NOT go to these amateurs.
So helpful. Easy and quick walk in service. Very friendly environment
Absolutely the worst place I've ever been.
Dr Race is excellent in her patient care and the clinic staff are very very friendly and accommodate your request to the best they can. ????
Takes great care of their clients and saves you money.
This review is for eMichael Pharmacy only. We are not patients of the medical clinic. Eman and her staff are very helpful and kind and they pay close attention to our needs. Her pharmacy is fully stocked with fertility medications that we couldn't find at other pharmacies. Our prescriptions are always prepared on time for us. Thank you Eman for your support! We appreciate it!
Dr. Saber Goher is our family doctor. Such a great experience, very knowledgeable, approachable and friendly. The receptionist are very welcoming and always friendly.
Dr Race has ZERO ethics when it comes to your health. Sees you as a number and won’t even give you a 10 min conversation. Not sure how she called herself a doctor.
Staff at the pharmacy are so genuine. They care and it shows!!.... Great place to get your prescriptions filled...fast!!!
Terrible service waited 45 minutes past my scheduled appointment. No compassion and a lack of care for my child. Terrible experience and will be finding a new doctor.
DR Race is the absolute worst person I ever met. She’s cold and a terrible DR she has no heart and should never be a physician, I was turned away because she is a terrible DR that could not handle my medical condition.. don’t ever waste your time and tears on this heartless so called DR
I normally don't leave reviews, but I'm severely disappointed with the service of this place. I have seen the doctors there for over a year with no success, because I was told there is a "process" that requires subsequent tests in identifying my "issue." I have had over 15 prescriptions that were often completely unnecessary, and in some instances, very harmful. Dr. Rose is the main doctor who doesn't even serve her patients in person. Despite waiting over an hour for scheduled appointments, she spends about 30 seconds talking to you online, after unnecessarily describing your symptoms repeatedly to different (not by choice) assistants. After that, she sends you on your way, obliged to return the next week. Since when did doctors go from healing and compassion to complete disregard for a human's well being? There's making money and helping people. Then there's just making money.
The nicest pharmacist in Mississauga. Always informative, kind, funny and respectful.
