Nice, large Sobeys. The place is often busy, but the selection is very good. They have quite a few check out labels to help reduce long lines, and the fancy cheese selection is quite nice. Produce is fresh, the meats are decent quality for a grocery store, and the ready made food selection is good. There's There's decent gluten free section as well.

I really like the meat department at this location. They have some skilled butchers on staff who do a great job of shaping fantastic roasts. They happily take the time to talk about different cuts and ways of cooking them. The produce department is always clean and the produce is always fresh. The deli counter is really well staffed, they always have friendly competent people manning the counter. I've never had any issues getting exactly the amount of whatever I wanted cut to the exact thickness that I want.

I don't get around this Sobeys often because I live in town, but I find it Avery good store. It took me a bit to figure out where the Takis were, but I found them by chance! Anyway, the cashier was very nice, didn't rush me, and sounded content! So that's definitely a plus--you will find friendly, respectful service there, and plenty of variety, and even the snacks you like! At least the Takis!

Great store, but staff directing customers against their own social distancing rules and marked paths. Watched a clerk who didn't wlknow that a customer was looking for march him down a hallway past me, then told him to come back against traffic. Neither had a mask on, well one had a faceshield, but it wasn't properly placed. Not to mention all the stupids going every which way. We're all doomed to die by our own hands.

I waited at least 5 minutes at the deli counter and had one employee look directly at me multiple times before she decided to go get another employee to help me out. They weren’t busy with customers, you had four employees in the deli and it still took longer than it should for me to get served. Your employees need to be more aware of their surroundings. And if you’re required to give rain checks, they should be done away from the cashier who is serving people, it’s pointless to hold a line up for an extended prior of time for something like that.

The layout here is excellent. Everything is easy to find. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable. They have a fine selection of staple foods as well as specialty foods in the international section. They have frequent in-store specials and offer some products in bulk. Plus they have a pharmacy!

For roughly over a year now, the products, and produce have drastically declined in quality. It seems the managers main goal has been the stores bottom line and making a name for himself. I've complained on numerous occasions about expired products on the shelf, to no avail. From coffee to Compliment's chips.. They don't care what they're selling you. If something is on special, be sure to check the expiration dates. 9 times out of 10 it's set to expire the next day, or it fell off a truck somewhere in the Yukon and it was shipped to this store for quick liquidation. If there was another store closer, I wouldn't hesitate to shop there. This store DOES NOT put the customer first. Only it's bottom line. Shop somewhere else if you can. There's only so many return trips a man can take before he's had enough. Get your act together Sobeys, before more than myself has had enough.

If I'm buying my fish from a grocery store....it better smell like the sea. Theirs does. It was very busy when i came here and only decided to do so on my way back from rainbow haven beach. My friend was with me. Got in carts all over the place. So i picked one and went to clean it and a older women from sobeys turns the corner and shouts at me saying customers arent aloud to clean the carts, and continues to lecture me with a raised voice about it. This lasted as long as it took me to leave the front. It was quiet hour, store again was fairly busy. But yet me and my friend waited a good few minutes infront of the meat section and no one came... Was unable to find a supervisor, most sobeys has atleast one at cash in the event one is needed, and with how packed ilthe line were, i wasnt going to bother the cashier, who seemed to be the only ones actually managing their post...
