They have the most flavours of LaCroix I've seen in any store in Nova Scotia. They don't have all of the flavours you find in an American store, but it will do for now! I've also found pretty good sushi here at times too!

Not a happy shopping experience. New to the area unfamiliar with the store - directional arrows so that traffic is one way - shopping took forever. The Superstore is much easier to navigate wont be returning to this store

I've never had much of an issue here at all. There's been the odd time where a coconut might have been bad or something like that but I never really have much of an issue. My only complaint is their bag policy. Plastic bags are recyclable they just choose not to allow us to recycle them. While numerous other retailers in the area provide plastic bags Sobeys simply does not. Now they charges for paper bags or charge us for reusable bags. They do this while wrapping up all of our other food products in vast amounts of plastic. I go over and I buy fish it's given to me in a plastic bag. I buy my fruit and vegetables that all come in plastic bags. I buy my bread that comes in a plastic bag and they won't give me a plastic bag to carry my groceries in. Hippocrates.

I had a recent back injury & found lifting heavy items painful. October 24/18 @ 2300 hours, I went to buy 6 cases of Big 8 water on sale at the Sobeys New Minas. I loaded the cases in the cart and felt a strain in my back. I was not offered help with the cases to my car so I presumed this service was not offered so late at night.I was dreading taking the heavy cart to the car but persevered. At my car, a young Sobeys employee was getting off work & heading home but he stopped & helped me load the cases into my trunk. He even took my cart. I did not get his name but he was a wonderful example of the Sobeys brand name. I appreciated his kindness & hope he is given some appreciation by Sobeys management in return.

The staff at this sobeys are awesome. I had bought a large helium filled paw patrol balloon for my 5 year old who was with me which got loose and blew away when we got outside. Some of the staff saw and when we went back in to buy another one we were given a replacement at no charge. As a parent I can't thank them enough. To my 5 year old daughter they were heroes. THANK YOU very much!
