I went in for potatoes, milk and romaine lettuce. Bought a few other items on sale. 2 for 1 kidney beans and Pillsbury choc cookies to make in a hurry when grandchildren drop by. These cookies are tasty and good deal for a sale price. Store is clean, staff friendly and I ran into an ol' friend. Great trip to Sobeys Forest Hills.

Deli department is lacking a real deli on my visit. They had very little selection or stock compared with other locations. Store was busy, many customers not distanced and just going around others as they pleased. Don't think I will go back, it just felt uncomfortable.

It's lay out is different than the two Sobeys that I normally shop at it was nice they nice produce there and the fish had a nice display the meat looked so good I could of bought a lot more if I had room in my fridge. I was at Sobeys today and I was in the meat section looking for your Sirloin special and didn’t see it right a way... a butcher came into the isle and I asked him.,. He was rude and condescending.... so I grabbed something else... then I went to the customer service counter and Chris (female) was working (as per normal) and she is AWESOME... due to the butcher that is why I only gave you 4/5 stars

This sobeys is a great store. It's close to home and they've always got great deals available in store. I like the way they've handled the line ups since covid too... it's excellent. This store always has fresh baked goods as well as anything else I'm looking for, and the cashiers and everyone else in the store are always very friendly!

I could not believe my eyes, during the height of Covid this store which has about 15 cash registers had three open but shockingly they were right beside each other. I called the manager over and questi him on why he woukd nit spacevthem. I showed him if the cashier turned away from her customer to cough she would be coughing directly on me. So sad, no common sense.

I stopped in tonight to get some tenderloins for a special dinner but they had none prepared. The butcher took the time to trim one up for me and cut it exactly to the thickness I wanted. Customer service plus! This is why I keep returning. Bravo Sobeys! I am very thankful... And supper was fantastic!

I'm past annoyed Every Saturday of the year shoppers have Pepsi and coke products for either 2.29 or 1.99.... that is for 51 weeks of the year. I go every weekend on their sale date. Not only do I get my pop but I usually buy other products. On Dec 23 I went to get my pop only to find that their "special " price is 3.49. That is 1.50 or 1.20 more than 51 weeks of the year. This amounts to price gauging and taking advantage of the consumer. Guess what....i did not go there the past two weeks.
