Where to start. On the surface this seems like a very nice business, until you get to know it. Highly unskilled workers in the post office in the time I dealt with them. One postal worker had the audacity to send my husband home with a note instructing me on how to write the Canadian postal code when the letter was going to England. I've been told to come back later to mail stuff because people didn't know how to do it. I've waited excessive amounts of time for someone to come to the post office window. Moving on to the store itself, aside from all the little petty things and gossip and the fact that you let things slide because you're in a small town. I just got fed up. Who runs a business like that?
I was in there one day ( last time ever going there ) and was purchasing three greeting cards at a cost of $24 and had a $5 coupon. Now correct me if I am wrong, but that's three expensive greeting cards. Three people, and a half an hour later, the cashier looked up at me and said all that for 5 freaking dollars.
well excuse me Miss I won't be back to bother you again.
Then just last week, because our mail is delivered there, as my daughter was on her way home and went to pick up the mail and a bottle of water she laid the water bottle down and grab the mail and left without the water. Upon calling the store, the owner himself basically interrogated my daughter over a water bottle after five years going there. She had called to tell him she would be in the next day. Guess not. Apparently he needs her $10 more than he needs her patronage and community support. well let me tell you you can say what you want about the city's but at least they run their businesses like a business.
and this review was not written in haste It was written way after the events so I would write it accurately and not out of anger.
So you decide if you want to shop at this horrible business
