This Pharmacy is classified in the category of Pharmacy.
Pharmacists and Pharmacy Techs are always very nice and very helpful. They are a very busy pharmacy so calling ahead with your refills is extremely helpful.
Friendly staff
Well! Don’t go in here upset in any way, Lindsay Barbour the “new” pharmacist will think you’re going to attack her. But instead of acting like she’s afraid, she’ll laugh at and berate you. I’ve been living out of province but I have been using this pharmacy since I was a child. Never again. The worst experience of my life. I didn’t know the rules of out of province prescriptions, but instead of explaining to me like a rational human being, she laughed at me and made me feel ridiculed. I will not be shopping at Dominion anymore do to this experience. That being said, the store manager tried to be helpful, but I feel nothing was done about/to Lindsay as she’s pharmacy and the store seems to be somewhat separate.. extremely unsatisfied customer.
Great and fast service. Very knowledgeable people.
Best pharmacy in the city. Best pharmacy I've ever used. Dale Davidson is awesome. Keep up the good work you guys. They always go the extra mile.
Very friendly staff, that recognizes me and 9 out of 10 has my script ready before I walk up to the register. Always helpful when I have questions about any other pharmacy needs.
Friendly and helpful.
With so many pharmacies in this city, deal with another one. These guys leave antibiotics scheduled for delivery in a drawer and forget all about it. Prescriptions phoned in one day aren’t ready the next.

I just want to say how amazing this place is. They went above and beyond to help me find other pharmacies with my medication because they couldn’t fulfill mine in time. They literally called 10 places for me. I truly can say that they genuinely care. Nicest people ever.
Been using this pharmacy for years. I’ve never called without hearing please hold. Then usually on hold for 10-20 minutes. Easier to just walk there as I live close. Customer service at cash has somewhat improved since the older red hair lady seems to be no more there. Meds are never ready in less than an hour.
We moved to Old East Village at the beginning of October. As we would be shopping at the Real Canadian Superstore it made sense to move our scripts over to the pharmacy there. I went there personally to make the arrangements and found the female staff member quite indifferent. Phoning resulted in being trapped in voice-mail jail. I am accustomed to great personal service from our previous drug stores so I didn't feel confident in the staff or the service. I promptly moved to another drugstore nearby with a great pharmacist. We are glad we moved.
I went to get prescrIption filled and they offered delivery for that night. I didnt get the delivery, and ive been calling for the passed 2 hours and the line is busy. Not impressed with their services. This pharmacy has gone downhill real fast in passed several years.
The staff are incredibly helpful, they know you by name & they will bend over backwards to make things work for their clients/patients. The owners are very knowledgeable pharmacists & great with advice.
Excellent staff, very friendly, good in depth knowledge of prescriptions. Not sure why someone put a one star review. Totally inaccurate.
Surprised to see a low rating! I've come here for years and ALWAYS been super pleased. I recommend speaking with the pharmacy and asking their instructions on how to save time. There are so many ways they can help do that. But again, in my opinion this particular pharmacy location is excellent! Keep up the GREAT work!
I've never had any problems with the people who assist or the drugists there ,why all the negative comments, the line ups come and go.some people expect too much.
Need more staff. Two tills to ring in prescriptions and only one worker, never fails. Filled prescription elsewhere and don’t have this problem anymore.
When I got my 1st dose of Covid vaccine last May, I was standing in line waiting for me to call for register. I waited almost 10 mins standing there while the pharmacist or someone that is assigned in the registration was doing something with her printer. She didn’t acknowledge or say anything, nor look at me to tell me that she is doing something. She also didn’t treat all the customers fairly. She is very friendly with the customer infront of me because she is white, after she was finish that was the time I have waited for sooo long for her to finish fixing her printer, doing something in the computer and filing some papers. I wasted time during the registration, I was there 30 minutes before my appointment, and I was late to take the shot because of how long I have waited to register. The only nice experience I had was the person who gave me the shot was so nice and friendly compare to the first person in the registration. I hope I won’t have the same experience on my second dose.
Often getting my prescriptions wrong and billing incorrectly resulting in added fees
Excellent service.
Friendly and efficient staff. A lady pharmacist helped me one time and went out of her way to transfer my other prescriptions at Costco to Loblaws.
I received my first COVID vaccine here. The pharmacy technician Dale was very nice and put my mind at ease. I didn't even feel the needle, and it was over in a blink of an eye. So happy I decided to get my vaccine here.
not bad nor really good or helpful. One of the pharmacists was super helpful but i haven't seen her in a while. The rest won't go out of their way to help you.
*they gave my private medical info to another customer * So tired of all the waiting. Waiting an hour for them to fill the prescription, then anywhere from 5 to 25 minutes in line to actually get the medication. Need more staff.
Haven't used their services at the pharmacy but I would assume it is just as good or bad as the rest of the store
Truly average
I honestly hate this pharmacy, every time I go they are extremely slow, never adequately staffed and take longer than they say to fill prescriptions. I have also had issues on several occasions where I have shown up early to re-fill my prescription (due to vacation and various reasons) and they and they have flatly refused me and given me a scornful look. I feel like every time I go to get oral contraceptives I get judged and they give me this distasteful look. excuse me for having safe sex!!! I suggest trying other pharmacies for better service
Honestly worst pharmacy in town. Prescriptions are never ready on time. I spent a week going there everyday because I kept being told that my script wasn’t ready and to come back “tomorrow”. Well after returning a total of 5 times I got upset and asked what the issue was and why I kept being told to come back tomorrow for an entire week! I was told that actually they didn’t have any of my pills in stock and that they would be in tomorrow. So the following day I return once again and surprise surprise my prescription still isn’t ready. I was fuming and demanded that they fill it immediately as I haven’t had my medication in over a week and these aren’t the type of pills that should be stopped abruptly. Finally I get my medication. My second incident I went to get my medication and I realize they had given me my fathers!! When I told them that they had given me the wrong pills they I informed me that my father had been in earlier and they must have given him MY pills. I called him and yes they had given him my medication. Not mention that we are on vastly different pills and if I were have not noticed I’m sure things could have gone pretty bad. Finally I’ve also seen one of the workers asking an elderly lady whether or not the pills they were giving her were the correct ones. Isn’t that what a pharmacist is for? Extremely dangerous, place should be shut down.
Thanks to all of u guys
Very unprofessional and snide staff. Would not recommend.
Very helpful people at the pharmacy, never had a problem they can't fix, and they coordinate with other pharmacies if they don't have what you need.
like it
Flu shot set up November 2021 not clear signage they stop giving them at 6 although sign says 8...not enough space for people to fill out paperwork-the line for prescription drop is same as for flu shot paperwork pick up... she sanitized pens to fill out paperwork but no sign of that happening at the counter surface where we got vaccines. Had to stand for vaccine with pharmacist on other side of too wide counter very awkward and uncomfortable to try and get your arm close enough to her. Hopefully they do much better with seniors and children. Will find another place to get flu shots next year if this is the best set up they can come up with. Not sure why there is a need in 2021 to have every person fill out all these papers should all be done electronically.
Always a pleasant shopping experience.
Stuff
Terrible. Called to fill a prescription. Arrived at the store, they had no record of me calling. Had to wait 1.5 hours. This has happened 3 times so far. (Yes I called the right number, we only have 1 loblaw pharmacy.) Just today was told 20- 30 min wait. It's now been an hour, still not ready. No explanation as to what takes them so long, and I've gotten the wrong script before, so it's not like it's for quality control.
When you have computer screens blocking the view of the person you are handing your prescription to, it sums up the customer service here....none. Older lady with red hair who works cash, is consistently rude and has purposely ignored me on a few occasions and dealt with someone who just walks up. Have to call back numerous times because you're on hold for so long and if you're lucky enough to have someone answer, they always seem rushed and tend not to listen effectively and having to repeat yourself is unprofessional and rude. Had to explain numerous times that an error was made, my husband told them that when he picked up my prescriptions, yet NO call was made to myself to verify that infact the prescription was wrong.....will be taking my pharmacy needs to Costco. It's time for some customer service training for all your pharmacy staff!!
I've had problems more than once with the female pharmacist. Today she pried into my personal medical history. Never again.
this is the world's worst pharmacy. EVERYTIME the main pharmacist is incredibly rude. They did not inform me that I was out of refills (as every other pharmacy I have ever been to has), and then they wanted to charge me $15 for an emergency refill. For what? For you to do your job? Customers already pay dispensing fees. On top of it all she was INCREDIBLY rude about it, acting as if I was a huge inconvenience to her. As other's have indicated, she is not good with people. They expect you to use their annoying online refill system, and harass you if you forgot to press the 'refill' button online (why not allow me to just auto refill). They also are incredibly slow and act like they are doing you a favour. My partner and I will be taking our prescriptions to a pharmacy where they appericate customers. I would give zero stars if I could.
Very slow service. They tell you to come back at a certain time or next day and prescription still not ready. Not recommended....
Lob law pharmacy is hard to identify, please add some name board outside. Outside its mentioned as pharmacy. Its really difficult who dont know much about market.
y’all r big liars you order online and they claim some of ur items are out of stock but they lie and now i don’t have watermelon candy don’t believe their lies
So I've dealt with this pharmacy for as long as I can remember. And they have usually been good. But for the past couple of months it has been terrible. They give me a time to pick up my prescription, and when I pick it up it isnt ready, they tell me 10 more minutes and I end up waiting another 30 minutes. I am also very unimpressed with the clerks basic interaction and communication skills, I am worried about what kind of training they are giving their new employees. Way to go again loblaw. You always find a way to disappoint your customers, pretty soon you won't have anymore to disappoint. I'm better off taking my business somewhere else.
My local pharmacy. Pharmacists are super friendly and get to know you by name!
Appalling customer service. The pharmacist treated me poorly and laughed when I asked for the generic version of the drug saying that she cannot give it to me even though I have dropped the SAME prescription twice and gotten the exact generic version that I asked for. You have lost a customer.
I get all my prescriptions here.
Very good staff and services. Responsible staff.
Got a flu shot here two years in a row and asked the pharmacists if they were flu vaccinated and none of them were - the most recent indicated that she didn't get sick. Truly disturbing that there's a lack of understanding of herd immunity among health care professionals that work with an at risk category of people... Disturbingly irresponsible...
Loblaw pharmacy is inside the Independent Grocery, it's hard to find single sign board outside with loblaw. Even inside the Independent Grocery. Please add some sign boards.
Great service
They offer a free weighing station (scale) for public use. It isn't available currently because of the pandemic. Hopefully when the pandemic is over it will be back up and running.
I stopped going there due to the rude female pharmacist. The man is very nice but they’re not helpful.
Horrible service all around. Never answers the phone. Never looks at fax machine. Not reliable. No accountability.
Easy to purchase from and get refills on my prescriptions
Very nice people, excellent service. Goes above and beyond when something isn't right.
Really nice people, got in got out quick
Just go elsewhere. I've had multiple issues over 2 years and today was the last straw. Don't chance your medication to incompetence.
I used to work at this pharmacy in high school when I was 17 years old. The pharmacist, Khalil, threatened to punch me in the face when I asked him what a prescription said because I couldn’t read the doctors handwriting. I brought this to the attention of the lead pharmacist, Wakid, as well as the pharmacist technician April. The incident was brought up to Mr. Dewe, who owns the independent grocer the pharmacy is located in and Mr. Dewe said that he knew Khalil was off, but that I would still need to work with him (alone on weekend shifts) if I wanted to continue to have the job. Additionally the pharmacist, Khalil, used to take the medications people would bring in to be disposed of. I’m not sure what he did with the drugs, but he would take them from the bin in the back and put them into his bag to take home. The entire staff was aware of this and we had to start dumping water onto the medications so that they were ruined.
Came here to get my flu shot at 7:40. They close at 8 pm and it says there are doses available online. Am promptly yelled at by the pharmacist that they’ve packed up and I’m too late because they “will be closing…” ????
I keep trying to call but all I get it the busy line.
Nice place !
Very friendly service and hard working employees. I recently started getting my prescriptions from here and am very appreciative for their hard work. They are very understanding of your schedule to help you get what you need. Also got my flu shot here recently, I'm very scared of needles and this was my first year getting a needle instead of the nasal spray, I was very impressed with how patient and calming the employees were, I hardly noticed the pain and it was over in just a few minutes.
Good pharmacy
Always friendly.. they have a drive thru and you can do refills online
Great service. Very helpful,
Inside grocery store, nice staff
Pharmacist very diligent.
Fast service
Every Thursday comes new flyer
Had to wait an hour to get a box of blood sugar test strips. No explanation as to why I have to wait an hour to pick up an item that doesn't need a prescription and is sitting on the shelf behind the till.
Absolutely horrible service. Definitely do not recommend using this pharmacy.
Terrible service. Somehow they always mess up my prescriptions (ie giving me wrong pick up times, wrong medications). Extremely rude counter staff, always on hold for 20 minutes when calling to ask questions about my prescriptions.
Been so helpful and great to deal with over the years! You guys rock!
Worst pharmacy I’ve experienced. More than 2 hours to fill a prescription. Over charged me and had to get them to correct it as it was 100% covered. Gave me liquid instead of pills.
Got my second shot in moderna friendly staff and fast service
Excellent service, friendly staff.Love this pharmacy. Great Job Geetha and team
Helpful pharmacists and technicians, perpetually pleasant and friendly. Usual retail pharmacy prices. Regular flu shots, etc, seasonally available (may require spots). Automated blood pressure/Heath status machine. Only 4 stars because: Weekday hours shortened to 2 hours prior to close of the store (Extra Foods/Loblaws/"Independent Grocers").
Professional and experienced pharmacy. Very friendly and extremely helpful staff.
I like this pharmacy because of their generic brand availability. The pharmacists and their assistants are very helpful as well.
Good prices, great variety
One star... I ordered a specific medication in yesterday and I even showed them the box so they'd see the brand name. I wanted to made sure he got the right one and I asked a second time if it was the right one. He answered yes and said they'd have it in today. Well I went to the pharmacy today and when I went to pick up my prescription, they didn't have to the right one! He ordered the wrong one... After I specifically asked for the brand that was written on the box (which I showed him) he ordered in the wrong one. I don't understand how someone could make such a mistake with something so important!!!
It's a big grocery store. Clean. Butcher section, seafood section, mini restaurant. But like all Loblaws they charge almost twice as much per item...
If you are looking for a pharmacy who will never add your coverage information, have a 45 min line up to get your prescription, never have it ready when the automated system tells you it will be ready, be constantly interrogated as to why you aren't using your prescription as FAST as you should be THIS IS THE PHARMACY FOR YOU!! In case you didn't notice that was sarcasm, save yourself the headache and don't even bother with this pharmacy go to Shoppers drug mart in Kensington or Save on Foods in Kensington!!
I would suggest going elsewhere. You can’t even get through when you try calling. On hold for 20+ minutes for a pharmacy staff member? Really?
Basic pharmacy. Very basic service. Average product selection. Slightly better prices than Shopper's Drug Mart up the road, but not by much. When they first opened, the dispensing fee was their real draw: it was much cheaper than anywhere else. However, their prices have continually risen, while the competition has dropped theirs, to the point that they are not really better than anyone else. Convenient because it's inside the grocery store, but I wouldn't go out of my way to come here.
Worst pharmacy ever
This pharmacy has wonderful staff. I really can’t fault them. They’re so kind and considerate, and seem willing to put themselves out, doing so with a smile!
Lots of mistakes
Friendly and competent staff. A pleasure to fill prescriptions here.
I’ve waited on hold today for more than 40 minutes combined and it’s not the first time. The service has grown increasingly worse by the month.
Hello I have no complaints about the pharmacy . The service has been very helpful ,the staff has always stopped to find articles for me & the best ones for my needs. Being a senior ,this is quite pleasant to enjoy shopping here. The best example ,the flu shot ,no need to go & wait in line at the Health unit , within 5 minutes I have my needle. Patti is always kind & caring ensuring My meds are in order & I understand the reasons for them. I have never heard a complaint about this pharmacy, being a retired nurse , very involved in our small community, glad to write this note ,????
Ya sorry people for my name on this post any how I'm not sure on how to approach this review I'm about to write on this pharmacy ! (What with the name I have on my post !lol) here goes if you have ever uncounted a retail store that normally the people that work there are nice somewhat helpful somewhat knowledgeable then I suggest you just keep going there BUT if you truely want a store that leans towards making you feel like family not like just a friend of that family but like your true family . People if I were you I'd be heading over there with my scrips in hand and asking could I please transfer all my prescriptions over to you "cause I know you'll take care me like I'm family " NEED I say more ! K look it these people that work there have gone way and I mean way out of there way to help me out when I was I need . Way above the call of there duty as pharmacists ! All you's out there do yourself a favor just go and see for your selfs . And you don't need to bring anything with you just yourself and they will do the rest keep up the good work guys thank you!
This store has great cuts of meat and an awesome variety of. One of the better grocery stores Sarnia has to offer in my opinion. Also...they sell BEER. What more could one ask for :) Get all your BBQ needs in one stop.
POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE! Some of your employees may need re-training. Dropped my prescription at 9:30AM, will do pick up after lunch and emphasized that I'll be paying in cash. Came back at 3PM, fall in line and waited with 4 customers ahead of me. When it was my turn, paid in cash for my meds and discovered they were incomplete. How did this happen? More than 5 hours before prescription pick-up and my meds were incomplete! I was expecting to just pick-up my meds without delay but this happened. Now I still have to wait longer. I asked for an explanation from Pharmacist but he was trying to avoid my complaint and just wanting to complete what was missing in my meds so I can leave his face. You may be called a "professional" but learn how to deal with customer complaints correctly and professionally. The important key is to "LISTEN" and learn how to "PACIFY" and "SATISFY" a complaining customer and not get rid of him. You didn't even bother to "APOLOGIZE" for the delay caused by your co-worker.
Not bad for a grocery store that hires pharmacist to get your pills ready while shopping but to refill your prescription or to get advise I’m not sure how much I can trust that but as the good book says . . . . . If you try it you will be able to judge for yourself and please like or dislike if you agree with my review because I’m trying to be a local guid with all the BIG words I’m using , fyi if you are reading all this for a pharmacy I think you need a new doctor lol
Whenever I've had any antibiotics or when I've been in pain, this pharmacy has always rushed my prescriptions for me so I don't have to wait so long. My family has always dealt here. Never any problems.
I am writing to express thanks to Mr. Patrik Zeng, PharmD, BSc, Staff Pharmacist, for his help and guidance to me when I visit the pharmacy located on 201 Oak Walk Drive in Oakville. His expert advice on medications and his detailed explanation of them helped me a lot. Thank you Mr. Zeng for taking the time to help me.
I understand the pharmacy has a new system the staff have been struggling with. I really feel for the staff seems they are try to make chicken salad out of chicken sh*t. I just spent 15 minutes phone ringing .no answer. Im calling to find out if the drug ordered a week ago is in. It's obvious to me the new system NOT WORKING !!
Great staff
Had to call in the same prescription 5 times in a week before they would finally confirm it was being filled. The day I was scheduled to pick up, they said they had no record of it. This caused me to miss dosages. Will be moving pharmacies.
They are fast
Quick service
Worst pharmacy ever. If I could give them no stars I would. I hardly ever get a prescription there but I went to the clinic right there so I decided since I was sick I would get the prescription. There was no one in line, no one waiting and quite a few staff working and yet they told me that I would have to wait for more than an hour to get my prescription. So I asked if I could have it delivered as I could not wait around I was feeling too ill. Return to the same clinic one month later, received a new RX so since they feel the other when I went there. Once again I would have to wait around for about an hour to get my prescription? So I opted for delivery again and it never got to my house till 10 PM at night. Next day another prescription called in by my doctor. When I called to inquire about it they told me unfortunately they didn’t have enough of the meds the quantity was only 21 Caplets so they would have to Owe me some? I told him to forget it I would take it the prescription somewhere else. Both times I waited patiently for somebody to serve me and they just pretended they did not even see me for the longest time.
I was getting an over the counter drug and they tried to sell one from 'their counter behind' which was $16 when I could have other options that range from $4-8. Just be aware when you buy non prescription drugs. They did not welcome questions nor provided good intruction on how to use. Not going back.
I have been getting my medications from this pharmacy for 5 years. They have always been professional and make every effort to ensure my needs are met.
Numerous mistakes have been made filling the correct Rx. When we used Bison Dr. Superstore Rx. were ready in 30 min. max. At Gateway 6 hours is what they tell me is the norm! There isn't enough time in the day to work for a living and try to contact the pharmacy to confirm Rx. since the system will give busy signals or ring & ring then you get disconnected just as staff pick up the phone. Yet, they will not fill Rx. faxed by the doctors office until you contact them! I have soooo many more examples of how terrible this pharmacy is. The owner of this pharmacy is obviously only interested in making money. Nothing appears to be set up at this pharmacy to benefit their customers. After voicing my concerns on several occasions nothing has improved.
I needed 4 pills to get me through the weekend. They said no. I will be changing pharmacies. I would rate zero if I could .
I was at this drugstore today and was completely disappointed at the lack of professionalism the manager had. She is absolutely rude and not a people person. I had personal items i wanted to purchase and she told me i need tto take that to the counter with the rest of my groceries. "Cant i see they are too busy and dont have time for this "? There were two of them and two customers . I told her "there is something to be said for personal privacy for the customer in which yoy have no consideration for. I do not recommend going there unless absolutely all other pharmacies in london are closed and you have no choice.
My 91 yr old father has been complaining that he doesn't receive the amount of pills on the bottle when he re-news his prescriptions. I wrote it off as him not counting correctly. Today I went to get one of his pills re-filled, only to find that the bottle said 100 pills, but only 88 were in the bottle. I am so angry that I did not believe my father and more angry that a pharmacy would have the audacity to rip off seniors for their meds that they must pay for out of pocket on a seniors income. He has complained before of not receiving all the meds as indicated on the bottle, only to be blown-off by the pharmacist. Now I'm picking up his meds. I went back to the pharmacy and let the pharmacist know, in no uncertain terms, of how furious I am that a pharmacy would think this is an acceptable practice. Not once did I receive an apology, which should in fact be directed to my father. He did proceed to blame a machine that does the counting. I told him that if my father has been having this issue of being shorted meds for months now, then why would you continue to use a faulty machine? No answer. Why would you think this is acceptable. No answer. Why do I have to come in and advocate for my senior father to receiver proper service. No answer. A pharmacy is held to a higher standard of service and seniors especially should be able to expect competent, skilled, and accurate service. I asked the pharmacist how they were going to make sure this does not happen again, which he replied that there is now a note on his file to do a hand-count of his meds. So does this mean every senior or every customer needs to say to put a hand-count on their file because you are using a faulty counting machine that may rip-off people? How is this acceptable? I am now trying to convince my father to move his file to another Pharmacy. One that is competent since this one feels it only has to measure to their own low-level standard of service.
Always so easy to deal with - great pharmacy.
Waited an hour after they said they would have prescription ready only to be told they don't have the prescription in stock. Not impressed.
Quality of this pharmacy has really gone downhill they can't get the orders right in the staff don't seem to know what they're doing. They used to be great.
This is the only pharmacy that I deal with. I find them very helpful and friendly.
Prescriptions never ready when they say. Here on Sunday and was told they would be ready at 5pm Friday. Still waiting. Always the same here. Time to find a new Pharmacy.
My mother had been dealing with this pharmacy for over 20 years and she switched this week. The pharmacist is knowledgeable but there is a high turnover rate with the other staff. There are long wait times to receive your prescriptions. Customer service is lacking because they ignore you when you arrive to pick up your medication.
Avoid the weekend. Weekend people will look at you, then ignore you.
This pharmacy is possibly the worst one my family has ever been to. We have been with them for years now and they forget medication more often than remembering it. They forget some of my moms anti-rejection medication which prevents her transplanted organ from killing her, and upon letting us know they have certain meds of ours ready, they do not give them to us when we go to pick them up. When we call to ask about it or say that it was an inconvenience, instead of being apologetic they are extremely rude. I do not recommend this as your chosen pharmacy as they are not diligent or professional at all, and they really don’t care about the customers.
This place is so dirty that I would not buy anything in this place & the staff are to lazy to help you out if you ask them about a product that you can not find.I gave it a one star because it is the very lowest you can give.
the convoluted message system needs oversight.
Awesome service. Order meds one day and delivered the next.
Absolutely detest getting in an argument with the pharmacist... and it's been occurring fairly regular lately.
Horrible horrible horrible. Always a system issued or down. No real leadership or organization in this place. Had to wait an hour for a medication they told me was ready from last 2 weeks! I only truly have sympathy for the lone cashier who i could see where trying her best to accommodate everyone. This place needs change but until then I’ll take my business somewhere else.
I changed my review due to the more recent horrible experiences. I called my medications in Wednesday night. Due to the medication not being ready until Saturday I decided to call the next morning. Thursday morning I called and was assured my medication would be available the following morning at 10am. I went to pick up the prescriptions around noon Friday. I was informed that they weren't to be ready for 20 more hours I explain that I had spoken to someone the day before and was assured they would be ready. They rushed my prescriptions and I was able to get them within 10 to 15 minutes, in my prescription bag was a lovely note. I wish I could post a picture of it but it says, "if you have called your refill into the automated system it automatically enters it to workflow to be ready in two days. If you need it sooner please call us to arrange a more suitable pick up time." Yeah thanks, I did call and talked to a pharmacy Rep and you failed at fulfilling my order on time. I would also like to add that no one should use the pick up option where they bring them to your car. I've witnessed the man that does this not wearing a mask, or wearing it improperly and touching his face then your medications. After many mix ups, medication availability and ridiculous wait times this was the final straw for me. It has to be one of the worst pharmacies in the city. I've been going there for about 10 years and it just keeps going down hill. Time to transfer to a new pharmacy.
Have been using this pharmacy for years and have yet to had a successful prescription filled. I am frequently told that it will take 2+ days to fill my prescription. Don't bother getting your physician to fax over a prescription - an employee openly told me she doesn't check the fax unless someone specifically calls in and asks her to. Last month I called my prescription in and was told to pick it up the next day. When i arrived after the pick up time, they asked me to come back as it wasn't ready. This happened TWICE. absolutely brutal. I would not recommend this pharmacy to anyone is on medication frequently.
Mathew is a rude person with an attitude problem. Instead of helping you he tries to make things more difficult.
I not only wouldn't get a prescription filled here, I would not request advise.
One of the best pharmacies in town. Great service! Very efficient lady pharmacist. Great Job.
Have everything that you need all in one store pleasant staff.
This indian lady pharmacist working here is rude and unprofessional. She is on phone call with her friend talking about casual stuff while keeping the customer waiting....She is not helpful and not knowledgeable either
For the past 20 years I have excellent customer service from the Pharmist at Hwy 27 & Langstaff. On June 14,2021, the pharmist when above and beyond because I was running late.
Multiple times I have waited for this pharmacy to call me when my prescription was ready. Each time they take my number but never actually call so it's me having to follow up everytime. Very frustrating.. as it's always ready by the time I call. Don't say you're going to call if you're not going to call!
Thought id give them lots of time to get my inhalers ready. So go in 3 hours after it was sent. "Can you come back in an hour?" Meanwhile they dont look busy at all hahaha. Anyways this will be the last time i use them.
So difficult to speak to a pharmacist.....they will keep putting you on hold, and it seems that you've disconnected because there is no message playing, music or anything. zero chance I would use this pharmacy if I actually had frequent prescriptions
By A. Micucci If they had zero stars they would get zero.Ashley sent fax for my medication refills to the wrong doctor 4 times. Because of her I went several days with no medication. Thanks a lot pathetic. I am changing pharmacies asap. And telling all my friends to change as well. Terrible service ! U can get better service from a vet !
Hmm....I seldom post on social media but the reviews I find confusing, since i have always received great service from this pharmacy! The female pharmacist in questiom comes across "direct" and perhaps that could be confused as "unfriendly" at times! I find the staff friendly and helpful! I can't recall EVER receiving anything but the best of service, and my memory is reasonably good! ????
So good people
I've been a customer there for about 10 years. Never had a complaint. Little hiccups sure, but nothing major. Since new owner, prescriptions not ready on time, not enough to fill...yet they charge you for whole thing and owe you. I loved the convenience of pharmacy and food store at same place, but frustrations( not just once, gave time to adjust,) I will now be switching.
Some of the worst wait times I have ever experienced for a pharmacy.
Clean and pleasant to shop
Friendly and efficient service. Pharmacist is there for years. Very involved and helpful.
Alsome
The pharmacist (L.S) who has assisted me several times over the past couple of years has been extremely helpful. He took time out of what I would think is a very busy schedule to educate me about the importance of some vaccinations I required. He once contacted me at home regarding followup about symptoms I experienced after a vaccination. He is very knowledgeable and always professional. A credit to his profession. I would recommend him to anyone.
Worst group of pharmacists/ assistants ive ever dealt with. They literally ignore customers. Watched some poor woman wait 15 mins to speak to someone about her pain meds. Erase my patient file. Im never going back.
The staff are very friendly and my prescriptions are always done on time.
Panamitan Kawit Food Park Al Fresco Dine In w/ Roof deck Dine in Dine in, Take-out, by order online
I really like some of the staff working here, but the accuracy and efficiency is really unacceptable. I am often told my scripts are ready; when I arrive, they arent. For the 3rd time, the count was low on my pills. (I have put a note on my file to always check before dispensing to me. ) The pharmacists scrutinize my plan and assume wrong information (e.g. dispensing 6 months) and question me on details that are beyond their scope ( dates of my vacation). I have actually had to get a name of a staff at my plan to provide to call, so they will stop arguing with me. Its pretty bad when I anticipate hassles everytime I renew my scripts. Time for a change.
These people are price gougers. They charged $207.60 more for a prescription than Costco. They refuse to price match or take the drugs back. I'm cancelling my Superstore Mastercard !! Buy your drugs at Costco.
It's called independent not loblaws.
The main pharmacist is so mean. My partner has been yelled at and told that we cannot fill prescriptions without 48 hours notice, which is untrue, The pharmacy clerks are lovely.
Reasonable prices
Twice now I've ordered my medication in advance for pickup using their system and I've come to get it and it's never ready. I even waited a week after they said it would be ready to pick it up. Don't bother ordering it in advance cause if will never be ready. The reason people order online is so it's ready and because of busy schedules!
I went to get my shot for Covid-19 and I ended up being sick 5 to 6 days and my asthma got active and I coughed so much that I require another puffer. The reason I am writing this post is simply, if you have underlying condition don believe the pharmacist that you will be ok. This experience has already cost me $200.00 dollars in medication so I breathe.
Great Pharmacy! Excellent service!
Call in my prescriptions and they're always ready when I get there. I've been dealing here for years. Never any issues. The staff are very knowledgeable and the pharmacists have been there for a long time.
This pharmacy is reliable for having your medication ready when the phone refill system tells you it will be, but it's always at least a day or two wait so make sure to plan ahead. However, they are totally unreliable when your doctor calls it in for you. I had a doctor do this for years at our appointments and it was always the same outcome. He spoke directly with pharmacists who'd say it would be ready in an hour, but once I got there they said it wasn't scheduled to be ready for a few days. This happened like clockwork every single time. He spoke with multiple pharmacists there too so it wasn't an isolated case. There was also some poor "bedside manner" from one particular pharmacist who just happened to be on staff when I visited, so with that and them lying over the phone all the time my doc actually recommended I switch pharmacies! Sadly they're convenient so I haven't been able to lol.
Awesome pharmacy!!!!!!
Excellent customer service at the front/generally good experience with staff (except for some!!!). Had to wait extremely longgg time for once cuz of new system issues - they should switch to a system that works.
I was on a trip to Sault Saint Marie and realized I forgot my medications. I phoned here and they called my pharmacy and then filled my prescriptions.
Poor service! called if my medication l ordered is already available but told me it wasn't but upon more verification it was already sitting there a few days said "for pickup". Further it said "called customer twice but no answer"?Told the girl l never received a call nor it was in my answering machine, cause everyone else are able to connect to me or leave a message if I'm not around. But there were none! Good pharmacy, but bad personnel services...lying as well!
I spent well over 40 minutes across two phone calls waiting for an answer. Picking up and saying "can you hold it's going to be a while" is not an excuse for ignoring your phone lines. I am a pharmacist and needed to speak with them urgently about a mutual patient. Unacceptable.
Clearly they don’t know what there doing and it’s sad they are still in business
The lady Indian work there so meant. I ask her how long to I have waiting? because I waited there 50mins to pick up the medicine . She told me: we too busy and walked away. When I came there I drop the prescription they told me 25 minutes. She should say "sorry because we busy"
Got a vaccination here today, the pharmacist was lovely, spent the time to chat and make me comfortable and I now have next to no soreness hours later. He was also very knowledgable about the side effects.
Used to be good when it was still Loblaw Pharmacy. Now it’s called Wadland Pharmacy and it’s the worst! Every time I visit, the pills are either not ready yet despite calling 8 hours ahead and them confirming it will be ready, or they don’t process it under the right insurance. Now it takes about 30 minutes in average just to pick up a simple prescription fill-up. Kay is rude, doesn’t admit her fault. When made realize, she doesn’t even say sorry! $10.99 for for dispensing each medicine and for what? Disrespectful behaviour and careless billing?
Pretty slow so plan to be there longer than the estimated wait
I'm done waiting for my prescriptions. I always put in my request for my prescriptions at least 3 + days. And then told to give them 10 minutes on a good day. I have even phoned to check to see if they are ready to be picked up. I don't drive. After confirming they are ready I go and pick them up. Guess what?? GIVE US 10 MINUTES. I'M DONE
