The post office never picks up their phone. Otherwise its a regular pharmacy, maybe a little small. They have some nice local things in the cosmetics section though, jewellery and scarves etc. Possible consignment.

Canada Post or Pharmasave (whichever is responsible) needs to hire more people. One attendant is not enough to deal with the post work rush(4:00 pm to close).

This is a really busy store. The post office is almost always busy, and you will be waiting for at least 20 min in December, whenever you go, but service is cheerful.

This place saved my life! I had just been to the save on across the lot in search of Epson salts (they only had bad quality salts but that’s for another review) so I start walking to the sky train and see this pharmasave, I walk in and am greeted by a polite lady who leads me to their HUGE selection of epson salts. I ended up buying two bags and even the cashier had excellent customer service. I will having be a relaxing bath tonight! Thank you!

This is my go-to pharmacy. Their pharmacists and technicians are caring and accommodating. It's one of the few compounding pharmacies in the community. They also have a Canada Post inside their store which makes it very convenient.

I get all my prescriptions here and the staff and pharmacist are great. They will fax requests to my Dr. and are very helpful and knowledgeable. Conveniently this location does compounding. Another plus is a Canada Post outlet. Great neighborhood pharmacy.

They’re a LIFESAVER! I came in Friday morning to buy a box of hair dye, but then realizing MIDWAY dying my hair that one box wasn’t enough I called in and spoke to Josh (the manager) and he sent an employee to bring me a box of hair dye!! One of the best customer service I have experienced!

I've always found the post office worker very helpful (and the rest of the staff). There is sometimes a bit of a queue, but that is normal at most post offices.

Typically great service, though last year we had an issue when we tried to get our flu shot. The young lady at the pharmacy offering to immunize our children was very stern, informing me (in front of our children) that our 5-year old needed to stay very still, and if there are any issues we could go to fraser health to be immunized. We had no problems in previous years, immunizing her every year with the flu shot, and she was very calm. After this experience however, our daughter seemed spooked by it, not wanting it at all, and when we tried again at a family doctor, she still refused. Fraser Health upon repeated requests, would not immunize her since she was 5 years old and not younger. I hope the pharmacy will take a more gentle and child-friendly approach as Fraser Health did it so well for us in prevous years.

At Canada Post office located in this pharmacy, I had the pleasure to meet Karen today. It was wonderful to see someone who really cares. Karen listened carefully to my request and resolve the problem in minutes. She took extra steps to make sure that Post Canada office does not make the same mistake that they already did. The most awful experience of racism I have ever encountered in New Westminster. I wasn't in the store for more then 30 seconds and I was already stereotyped and pegged as a thief. I walked into the Pharmasave I was looking at the banners to see which isle I should proceed to. When out of the blue a clerk comes straight up to me and demands that I empty my pockets. I was shocked and appalled by this behavior. Instead of pointing out that I had only been in the store a few seconds I complied because it just saves time and hassel. When she realized I was not the one she was after she left no apologies no nothing just embarrass me in front of 3 other customers and walk away as if nothing had happened. I did not get her name because she left so quickly after the incident. I know she's about 5'5" long black straight hair in an awful attempt at a bun. Red framed glasses half way down her puggie nose, about 95lbs soak and wet. Wearing blue trousers with the Pharmasave shirt. With a blue sweater over top.

The pharmacists at this pharmacy are the best. the pharmacy staff are polite, caring, helpful and knowledgeable. I would recommend anyone who needs a prescription to get it from here. As my experience with them has benefited me.

Pharmasave could have been good except for the following: 1. There is no privacy. Practically anyone can hear your medical issue. There is no space to separate customers who are consulting and customers waiting to pick up their medication. 2. There are 2 waiting chairs if you have to wait to have your prescription filled in. The chairs are dirty. There seemed to be no regard for cleanliess 3. A pharmacist named Julia will first interview you about your personal life such as what is your life style, why do you need this medication and what have you been doing in terms of diet. She asks those questions whihc made me feel very, very uncomfortable. She has a reason, she says for asking those questions. I am inclined to tape our conversation and send it to the BC Pharmacists Association. It appears she is in violation of privacy as she's asking more than what she's supposed to provide- a medical advice related to a certain medicine. She will ask how old I am and what I do for a living. Julia violates more than privacy. When asked why, she answered oh it's just to determine your life style. The FU_K_!!! In summary, Pharmasave breaches privacy and does not care or give a hoot who else is listening. I could actually hear three people - their phone numbers and their medication- enough for me ( if I want) to pry on their personal lives. Of course when management reads this review, they will likely ask about ME and there you go, before giving a warning to Julia, they wlll want to ask who I am and have to prove myself. FORGET it!!! I ain't telling you anything,

Best pharmacy I have ever been to. I have multiple chronic illnesses including a severe back injury that requires fairly heavy doses of narcotics for the pain. This is the first pharmacy/pharmacists that havent looked at me like I was a drug addict, and that was from the first time I went there. The pharmacists and assistants there are so helpful and they actually care.

I got to pharmasave at 6:58 (closing at 7:00) to pickup a package from the canada post outlet inside. an old asian gentlemen stopped me at the front door and refused my entry even though I had no intention of making a purchase. all I wanted was my post office item but couldn't explain it to him as he slammed the door and walked away before I could say anything. its customer service like this (or lack thereof) that keeps and will always keep this chain of drugstores in last place. their prices are not competitive and the offerings in store are comparable to drugstores from the 70’s and 80’s. I mean who goes to a drugstore for toys or jewelry? theres no real rhyme or reason for alot of the merchandise inside pharmasave stores

I must say thank to Mark and the customer service lady in the cosmetic. I was lost in New Westminster last Friday afternoon on my way to job interview. I went into the store desperately and looked for help. I was directed by the cashier to the lady in the cosmetic and she was so helpful to have Mark draw and show me the way. Mark and the lady in the cosmetic are such Good Samaritans. Thank you so much.

Postal outlet is amazingly slow in both the lineup (I have had the only staff member take a break while waiting in line) and in processing incoming packages well after they arrived.

Had my prescription her for over a year and there was always some sort of issue with renewing. Customer service was either a hit or a huge miss and usually a miss. Found speaking to the pharmacy on the phone, the employee was short and not helpful. Called Shoppers and they took care of everything.

Pharmacy staff on November 8th, 2019 in the evening were great! They took time to listen to my concerns about my new medications and helped me sort it out. They didn't rush me and were knowledgable and laughed at my bad jokes. This will be my new pharmacy.

Karen at the Canada Post desk is very nice and helpful. Canada Post is not helpful but Karen is an employee of Pharmasave and at least makes dealing with Canada Post bearable.

Was doing ideal protein and had a awful experience. The lady Diane didn’t and wasn’t sure of herself. Her room was a mess always looking for measuring tapes and pens her desk was covered with paper very unorganized. Her blue tooth was never working she said she would send me my measurements later but didn’t. I had to keep reminding her. I spend so much money on food I feel I didn’t get the expertise I was surpose to get with this program. I did everything right and worked so hard and feel this program didn’t do the same as far as helping and been on top. I like it when I am told what I should be doing but instead I was guiding her. She even rang my food in twice wrong and had to redo the whole grocery bill. I feel these people hired are learning on the job not experienced. I also called her boss who never contacted me. That tells me a lot about the people running the program. ???? frustrated

I received absolutely exceptional customer service at the Columbia Square Pharmasave! I was looking for a product for which there was a chronic shortage everywhere, and the pharmacy team was willing to take my name down and then call me on two separate occasions when the product actually arrived even though it was at least a week later. Thank you so much for your hard work and dedication, Pharmasave Columbia Square team, I appreciate it immensely and you are clearly a gem in the community.

My mom needed some immunizations for her new job. Jeffrey clearly explained each of the immunizations she required and was able to administer one close to closing time. Very happy with our visit here. We will come see Jeffrey again for more immunizations.

The staff are friendly, knowledgeable & want to help. The pharmacy is always very busy but they have consistently made me feel comfortable & not rushed. I also like that they seem to have things throughout the week on sale- a stick of deodorant on the Monday, Kleenex on the Tuesday, they change it up quite often & I appreciate that. I will be back again & would recommend :)
