After returning from being out of the country I was short on 1 of my 5 regular medications, I called the recorded message line at 10 a.m. to renew 1 expired medication for 1 week until my Doctor appointment on Tuesday coming and asked if they could call me if there was a problem with doing that. That same day my husband dropped off a new med prescription at 11 a.m. We went there at 3 p.m and neither prescription was filled. The pharmacist, Carrie, said oh, she took my call and "forgot" it. She said my husbands prescription was not done yet (after having it for 4 hours). She at that point told me that there was a $10.00 fee for the pharmacy to write a prescription. I advised her that I called at 10 a.m and asked them to call if there was a problem with them filling a 1 week renewal till I got to the Doctor but hadn't heard anything from them. Again, all she said was there was a 10.00 charge. When I had called the Dr. office that morning the receptionist told me if there was a problem getting my meds to call her back and they would call in a prescription with no charge. Carrie did not call me to tell me that and left my request unanswered until I arrived there at 3 p.m. Too late for me to get my Doctors office. She just "forgot" that I had even called. This was my second experience with Carrie when she failed to get my travel prescriptions filled a few months earlier through my prescription plan. I was so upset as I was without any of the medication I was looking to have filled this day. I have 5 regular medications that I use on a regular basis after having heart surgery last year and my husband is also on 4 regular medications after he had heart surgery in 2010. We will definately be going to another pharmacy to look for better service than what we have experienced. with Carrie at Lawton's Drugs in Brunswick Square. I certainly hope that Joan see's this review because she has always seen to our needs in the past. Unfortunately, Carrie has absolutely "NO" customer service skills and because of that, has lost our business at
