This is my pharmacy. I love they have been incredibly helpful in everything - from when I needed some information for my taxes all the way to looking up my history so I could better communicate with the walk-in clinic doctors. As someone without a family doctor I really appreciate how understanding this pharmacy is and that they are willing to sit and talk with me when needed.

I have found most of the staff and pharmacy assistants polite and very patient. I was going there because my ex recommended this pharmacy. Since November I’ve encountered major concerns with professionalism with two of their pharmacists. Completely rude , one even hung up on me . This was all over an RX they charged me for that was to be covered. Three phone calls and one visit and no resolve. Even after explaining to the one pharmacist that I was only needing a refund, he actually called my plan to confirm coverage, which had been done ( albeit reluctantly) and created more work for himself, had he checked his obvious impatience and took a moment to LISTEN to me and read notes on my profile.... I felt like my business was not appreciated. Even after he re confirmed my coverage I wasn’t getting a refund without a receipt ! He could have printed me another receipt but he refused Rude , rude !! I called once again to attempt to resolve with no success and utter rudeness. I was and am polite and respectful as well realizing we all have bad days but this is unbelievable. Will go back to get my $$ without any kind of apology likely .. what a joke ! I’ve had good experience there prior but I suppose it goes to show you if they mess up your paying the price. Likely was hoping I would just forget about it and save them the work on their error. Medicine Shoppe at terminal is my new place.

Disclaimer: I am the Google Trusted Photographer who shot their virtual tour. While there I noticed that the place was tidy and we'll organised and the staff were very pleasant, not only to me but also to all of their customers. I was also surprised by the unusually varied merchandise they carry. I have been back several times to buy stuff and would certainly recommend it if you are in the area.

My experience at Westhill Pharmasave was excellent. The store is organised and there is always very friendly and helpful staff that will help you wether it be for clothing sizes, makeup or for medication. I've been shopping at this store for many years and it's always a very friendly and welcoming environment. I highly recommend.

OMG the older lady that works here is rather odd. She watched me, though the glass door, as I walked across the parking lot from Timmies, as if I was naked, or dressed as a ninja, or something weird. I walked in and she kept staring. I left right away because her stare was very weird and unnerving. I purchased the item at the larger, better drugstore right across the street.

I go here all the time for hair dye, they have a really great selection of odd colours and sell bleach packets which are pretty hard to find. Their pharmacy is also good and they're really fast with prescriptions.

I would have picked no stars, but that was not an option here. Terribly rude female pharmacist!!!! I called the wrong pharmacy chain in error. This female pharmacist was belittling and rude to me while we had a conversation to figure out I had called the wrong pharmacy chain. She didn't even have give me enough time to say the word sorry before she said in a very snide tone "Um hm" over top of what I was saying and then hung up on me. Will absolutely NEVER shop at another Pharmasave. Too bad because I use to enjoy their options, but always found their pharmacists to be snappy so stayed away from getting prescriptions there. Now I will just stay away period!!!

Came in looking for hand warmers, walked around for two minutes, couldn't find anything, and as I was about to walk out the cashier accused me of stealing (older caucasian lady, blonde, with glasses) with absolutely no evidence and was very racist. Terrible service and a horrible experience. Do not ever shop here. Will be complaining to corporate/head office about their absolute lack of judgement.

The older lady at the pharmacy with an obviously terrible dye job is a condescending bigoted person who needs to retire and not be allowed to interract with the general public. I made an official complaint and it was ignored since she's still working there. Lady, when people go to check out the items they have selected, they are aware of what they are and what purpose they serve. So save your stupid inquisitions for the people in your head!

Went in for face masks today and my jaw dropped, 5.99 for one mask. Price gouging indeed, fines definitely should be handed out and products should be removed. I read the other complaint over the same thing. We appreciate your business and thx for your support. More like itll be a frosty Friday before i do business with you again. I will go support businesses in our community which do not rip off community members.

I got braces yesterday and didn’t get much braces wax. I went to almost every pharmacy in Nanaimo, most said they didn’t have any in stock or no longer sold it, I asked the places that said they didn’t have in stock if they could order me some and all said no. I go into the Bowen road pharmasave, take a look around, I asked at the pharmacy and the lady was happy to look and help me, she offered to look it up and order me some. She was very nice and helpful even though she didn’t know what the wax was or looked like!
