(Translated) I was suggested to take a drug that was a suppository instead of an oral tablet (although I had requested an oral tablet !!!!!). It really was when I opened the box and realized that it was not what I was looking for. I immediately asked for a refund (just a few seconds later) and we refused because the box was open. Yet it is THEM who misinformed me! Terrible service !!! Not to mention that the chief cashier gave the attitude and smiled stupidly as if I were a zoo animal. Really do not know how to live and customer service skills. GO TO JEAN COUTU WHO IS JUST SIDE! CHOICE OF MEDICINE IS MORE DIVERSIFIED !!!
(Translated) Pitiful service. Whenever the clinic faxes my spouse's medication list, it is never prepared. Always argue with Mr. Nguyen who inevitably lifts his imperial little finger to say: 'you still have some for a few days'. Like this, we did not work in life and we had nothing else to do than show up at his counter where, moreover, his employees are as mixed as him. Always clear our prescriptions and explain them. In short, a pharmacist who sweats his customers, and also his employees by his rough and haughty tone, has no place behind a Uniprix counter. It looks like we are in another era! In short, let's go elsewhere to avoid unnecessary stress! And let this pharmacist retire as soon as possible! (Original) Service pitoyable.
My favorite pharmacy....it is definitely a mini Walmart....great prices...and the Pharmacy staff are Amazing...very friendly...Thank you Mrs.Dang for your wise words....
Quality of service is not always there.
Good location, and very convenient. I come here for the post office. I love that it's so close to home!
Please save yourself the headache and go literally anywhere else. The pharmacists are rude, judgmental, and disorganized
(Translated) I want to thank Alexandre for helping me solve a Western Union problem. He listened, he did me a very good service to call to change the destination. Thank you so much!! Merci beaucoup!!
(Translated) A star for the Canada Post. Unpleasant service at the limit of being insulting. For the pharmacy, I do not frequent it very much. Clerks are always hidden in a corner and pretend not to understand when their request for help, regardless of whether the request is in English or French.
Go literally anywhere else.
The older asian pharmacist is a condescending, rude and unprofessional person. gave him the benefit of the doubt, but after two identical encounters I am moving my dossier to another pharmacy immediately
I would try to avoid it here. We bought a thermometer. It didn't work and they didn't allow return since the package was open. Oh, well. How would I know if it works or not without opening it right?
Great prices! You can find here everything you need for home, small appliences, detergents, cosmetics. There is pharmacy and post office.
The western union is always down. I'm not so sure I believe the employees though, I think they just don't feel like doing something because when I go somewhere's else, the WU is working fine.
(Translated) great lack of professionalism in this pharmacy. I go there for several years since its location is advantageous to me. Unfortunately pharmacists are mediocre. Whenever I needed medication these never offered me any information or contraindications about my medication. On several occasions they did not give me the right drugs or the year maiv prescription / wrong dosage. I went there just now to file a prescription so I need in a few months the pharmacist seemed confused that I ask him this service and did not seem to understand the task. atrocious service, lack of professionalism and courtesy. If you have to go to this pharmacy I advise you to check that you get the right drugs.
worst service ever. avoid this pharmacy and just go to the Jean Coutu down the street or the pharmaprix on boul. saint-laurent read the other reviews carefully...avoid this pharmacy and this canada post
Always have had great service here, and the pharmacist is very knowledgeable. I don't understand why so many negative comments; I think probably a majority of unhappy people have bothered to leave a comment, otherwise if everyone left a comment, their rating would be much higher!
(Translated) Go to tailored jeans. Worst service here (Original) Allez au jean coutu. Pire service ici
(Translated) I do not understand the negative comments about this pharmacy !! To have been a few times, I always had a good service, found everything I needed and even more! .. You know many you pharmacies where you can buy comforters, curtains, accessories cooking, and much more. Even protein products WOW their price !! Congratulations Uniprix. I will go back there for sure. Bravo Uniprix . Je vais y retourner c'est certain.
Everything is really expensive. I really only go here to pick up my mail.
I had a pretty pretty awful experience there. Won't go there any more.
The worst pharmacy in downtown Montreal. To transfer our file to another pharmacy, we called them several times and they just wasted our time with wrong answers! not suggest it at all
One of the pharmacists, an elderly vietnamese gentelman, is extremely rude and unprofessional. Everytime he takes care of my prescription, I consider filling a complaint with the Order of Pharmacists. This type of behaviour is unacceptable from someone providing health services to the general public. The rest of the staff is perfectly fine though...
I don't like this place, 2 agents are working, but the service is slow.
They have an extremely rude and uneducated person who works there, her name is Cindy. She is consistently unbelievably rude and I don't understand at all how is she allowed to work in customer service at all. She even brags about even if you complain about her pathetic and unacceptable behavior, she brags that nothing will happen! I find it unbelievable how confident in her brashness and low class! What kind of manager that hires suuch person???!!!!. She also has racist comments and she should be kicked out immediately! Most of the rest of the staff are very rude!!!!
Some certain pharmacists here could certainly learn a thing or two about RESPECT... I was asked what my "real name" was because I "look" Asian... That triggered a particularly painful experience. I can't stop crying on my way home... Some people changed our names because of trauma. Judging people based on their race seemed biased and ignorant. It's just painful when strangers invalidate your newly-found identity. I was too shocked to confront the individual. This is the first time someone being so inconsiderate during my entire six-year stay in Montreal. But I won't let myself be invalidated anymore. NEVER.
Major plus is it is conveniently located, post office and pharmacy and place to grab essentials, been going here for at least 5 years. As for service, no major complaints. Some of the staff are more friendly than others.
(Translated) Going to this pharmacy regularly, I have never been badly served or badly advised by the staff at the counter. I cannot praise all the members employed at this pharmacy, but when Sahel serves me I cannot fault him, until today! Thank you! ???? ????
If there is a way to Star negative value, I want to do it. One of the worst place to buy cosmetics. The staff doesn't know anything. They suggested a wrong product and when I asked them, they were reluctant to take it back although I explained and they wasted a lot of time for me in explaining things which are irrelevant. I would suggest a big NO for the cosmetics here especially the girls there are rude and they will give cheap looks if you ask any doubts and make fun of you on your back.
(Translated) Never again return because of the ultra-complicated return / exchange policy (and no, the muttering of the girl at the checkout, which "switch" French / English do not help too much).
(Translated) Poor phone service for prescriptions. The clerk was really stupid. (Original) Piètre service téléphonique pour les ordonnances. La commis était vraiment bête.
I'm here a lot for the post office located within, however pick up the odd thing here and there. It's a nice location, but the aisles are too narrow for the amount of stock they have.
Good
(Translated) Very great presence of professionalism and courtesy (Original) Tres grande presence de professionnalisme et de courtoisie
Staff are polite, things are usually overpriced though.
I don't often write negative comments because it is a waste of time, but seriously this place has THE WORST PHARMACISTS. They have absolutely no service or communication skills. It is shocking. For instance, they will shout, glare, and even throw the medication from behind the counter at you. They also have quite a racist attitude towards Asian people, which I've observed multiple times on separate occasions. This hasn't happened only to me as well, several people who were in line before me experienced this unprofessional behaviour. It makes no sense why this is allowed to continue. I strongly urge potential customers to visit a different pharmacy and protect your mental health. It is likely that if you are seeking medication, you are ill and these people will not show you the support or respect that is necessary for health care workers. As for the management of this chain, please investigate and find a solution to this situation so that customers don't feel unsafe or vilified during their visit. Thank you in advance.
The worst pharmacy I have ever gone to. The pharmacists are so rude and judgmental. She was speaking so loudly about my medication and questioning why I am taking it that everyone else could hear exactly what medication I am on. That is between me and my doctor, I should not have to explain to a random pharmacist why I am taking my medication. She thinks she is a doctor and questions everything like an interrogation. Very unprofessional. Go literally anywhere else and be treated 100x better. I transferred my medication to the Jean Coutu on Sherbrooke and was treated with actual respect. Wish I could give 0 stars.
Meh...the old Asian guy at the pharmacy is rude and dismissive towards the customers and the women at the registers are as rude and dismissive as the old guy at the pharmacy. There is no reason to come here other than using the post office
They do not even deserve one star, the staff here are very rude and arrogant to customers like other people mentioned on reviews. This place was such a nightmare. I've never written a bad review until now, but I am doing it only for this time because they should know better. I contacted the customer service several times and they never replied so apparently there is no room for improvement for them. shrug*
(Translated) I very much appreciated the suggestions and comments of the pharmacist (I do not remember the name) but she took the time with me and it was perfect! Thank you again ... I also had to talk to the Director of Pharmaprix who was present and he was very very nice. I just landscap in the corner and I will come back for sure! There is everything I need at the bottom! :)
I had a really really bad experience there. The male pharmacist with asian accent is awful and arrogant. Won't go there any more.
Extremely bad service, they do not respect consumers law, discounts were announced but not applied. The cashier asked the pharmacist (old asian) and he started yelling at me, and didn't want to respect what was announced.
Unprofessional. Pharmacist was trying to play doctor by telling me that my Asthma was not chronic enough to qualify for a free flu vaccination. I’ve been asthmatic since the age of 5.. I will not bother returning. I will start filling my prescriptions at the Jeanne Coutu on Sherbrooke.
The female employees at the register have a dismissive and hostile attitude towards the customers, as though they hated their job (maybe they do), and the elderly male pharmacist is just as rude as the staff at the registers. He has a condescending and sometimes aggressive manner of dealing with the customers. I saw as he talked to a customer who was getting a Rx (seemingly for STD's) filled, he told him in loud voice to be more careful with being infected and suggested he should use condoms, that is a flagrant violation of privacy laws and an utter lack of respect for customers. Some other time I went with an empty bottle of cough drops, I wanted to ask whether I needed a prescription or not, he did not even let me finish asking and yelled at me frantically moving his arms and saying that I needed a prescription. I avoid at all cost coming here even if it's not far away from were I live. The customer service both at the pharmacy and at the checkout counters is as bad as it can possibly be
The worst customer service ever. Staff here has no common sense about how to treat customers. They are very rude and unbelievably arrogant. You guys are in business because of paying customers and how can you guys be so condescending??? One old man even yelled at me "LISTEN!" because I tried to ignore his nonsense and the other old man came to support his bad attitude not helping customers!!??HUH??? What is wrong with these people??? I tried to ignore them, but the guy followed me inside of the store to keep saying what was wrong with me and that was totally creepy and not even necessary! This is how they are trained to treat customers here. Unbelievable, right? It was such a nightmare and I thought it is not fair for innocent customers only want to buy something to be treated this badly. So I contacted the customer service twice though, seems like they don't even care. No response at all. They don't even deserve one star. If you need to go to a pharmacy, there are plenty of other stores nearby with decent customer service. Don't come here for your own safety and peace of mind please.
(Translated) Uniprix manager really very nice. Plus Canada Post, what more could you ask for?
(Translated) Really pitiful service. A real summer camp. (Original) Service vraiment pitoyable. Une vraie colonie de vacances.
bad costumer service
The friendliest and most professional service.
Great pharmacy, go out of their way to help. Been a client for over 10 years. Always have plenty of products from flyer special available in store so no need for rain check. It’s a little tight getting around but merchandise is usually in its place and they always respect Quebec price laws.
i wish there was a way to rate 0 star. i had a bad experience with canada post in uniprix someone had sent me a package with food in it, so i wanted to pick it up as soon as i could (and store it in my fridge) or the food could go bad. when the sender tracked the package, it said on march 3 (today is march 4) that the package should be waiting. i didn't have my delivery notice with me when i went there, and asked them to check for my package. they said they don't have it. ok sure.. i come back home to find my delivery notice. it says i can pick my package up tomorrow, march 5. problem is i don't want the food to go rotten and potentially get a food poisoning the package should have been there since march 3 according to the tracking, so i called uniprix to double check if my package really isn't there, and to check if there is any other way to get my package today instead of tomorrow. if not, then i would've been ok to wait until tomorrow because how can i pick up something that hasn't arrived yet what happened when i called was i get redirected twice, had to listen to low quality songs (2 and half songs), and the person would not pick up the phone. i called again so that i can tell them i have been waiting for 10 minutes (literally 10 minutes) and i just want to ask two simple questions. as soon as they answer, they simply ask who i'm looking for (like the previous call), and as soon as i say canada post, they redirect me again without giving me a chance to explain that i already waited for 10 minutes. again, this lazy worker would not pick up the phone for about 5 minutes. i called again, and i said please hurry up i've already spent almost 20 minutes on phone listening to horrible music. i finally get to talk to the canada post guy. i asked him to double check because my delivery notice says it should be there, and before i could ask if there's any other way to get the package, he hangs up in the middle of my sentence this had been a rude, and time wasting experience for me. only reason how many businesses in canada can run with such bad service is attributed to lack of canadian population; there isn't much competition (that most service industry becomes sort of a monopoly within their region). they don't have to give good customer service because even if they don't, the customer has no other options to run them out of business. i wish there were more package delivery companies in canada because frankly, it is extremely slow, and the workers are often very lazy and rude. i hope all the workers i had to deal with today gets fired soon. all in all, i wasted 20 minutes listening to low quality music, and i will never get back those 20 minutes. did i mention? uniprix is overpriced, and it's a half minute walk from metro, in the same underground mall, that sells identical products for little bit cheaper price
(Translated) I will never go back to this pharmacy even though it is just a stone's throw from my home. The owner pharmacist is an individual who should not work with the public. Condescending and rude. To avoid. A éviter.
????????
The staff was incredibly helpful and friendly. On top of that, the waiting time was short and the cashier was charming and quick!
(Translated) Very good reception answers to my questions much liked (Original) Très bon accueil réponses à mes questions beaucoup aimé
I've been a customer of this pharmacy since 1993 when I first moved into the area. Till recently, I've always had very good customer service the ladies (Reina and Lita) have always been professional, helpful and efficent. Recently my GP had a bad experience with one of the pharmacists, not sure which one. I've also had various unsatisfactory experiences with some (not the regular phramacists) but today they lost me as a customer. Their pharmacist Mr Nguyen is an impatient rude little man. I went to fill a prescription but my GP forgot to fill out some pertinent details (stuff happens, just had to check my file). First he told me the drug was out of stock and offered the generic brand. I take BP meds and the recent valsartan scare turned me off generics. Told him I prefer the original, BTW this is not the first time they don't have stock on my particular BP meds. Told him I only had 2 days left and he simply shrugged and gave back my requisition telling me to find it somewhere else. He did that knowing that it might be a problem. My GP had forgottent to specify the dosage. I told him it was the same dosage but with an added element, he just had to check my file. Today I went to another pharmacy with the same requisition and not only was it in stock, the kind pharmacist took his time answering ALL my questions and explained the new drug. Judging by all the negative comments about this pharmacist, and my personal experience, it's a wonder he still practices.
this place is so convenient its sells everything you can think of... they really listen to what i requested and they call me to informed me that they received it ,very good service.the staff at the cosmetic counter are so helpful not trying to push you every product to make a sell. really appreciate this place, its like a mini Walmart.
Excellent pharmacy for new and expecting parents. Please rent the breast pump. Don't buy one. The ones you buy at the store don't work as well. The one at this pharmacy you can rent 80/month. You have to buy bottles and tubes for 80. This pump is the one used at hospital, they cost upwards of 4,000$ alone but they work like a charm. Not everyone can afford to buy and this is why I suggest to rent theirs. Their pump is better quality and renting one you can meet with lactation specialist for one hour free. My friends did not receive the best care at hospital with little and no help for breastfeeding. The CLSC nurse was a godsend and spent hours with them helping. She recommended this pharmacy. Unless you have over lactation syndrome she said you can get the cheaper products as it will work fine. But if you're having trouble the rental pump is the best.
Pharmacy lost my prescription sheet and could not find where they had placed it. Asian male pharmacist is amazingly dismissive. Would not reccomend
(Translated) The old Asian pharmacist to whom I gave my prescription was masterfully rude! When I handed him my sun card as proof of identity, he looked at me condescendingly and did not want to believe that I was a resident of Quebec! Did he think my card was wrong? No idea. In any case, I will never go back to this pharmacy again. You can be both Quebecer and Chinese, and speak English and French perfectly. Pharmacy to be avoided absolutely if you don't want to be treated like a rotted Ontario peach!
Excellent service. They work very hard even though people pressure them all the time.
