If one day the laday Daphnee is willing to become an employee of such as Miniso or Pharmaprix, I believe that she will also bring more consumers to these chain stores. On 9th March, Saturday, I need three bottles of body milk from the same brand, but only 2 bottles in stock, I actually paid 3 bottles by creidt card. I've always had to wait a while for my medication here but the pharmacy staff is very nice. The rest of the store is big and stays open late so you can always grab whatever you need. For a place that's so central, I found that they rarely run out of anything. That's a massive plus.

If I could give the pharmacy -10 stars I would. Please note I have had the same doc for over 12+ years and been on the same medication for over 10 years. I have come to this pharmacy about 1 and a half years (it is about a block away from work so it is convenient). Please can some one explain to me how it takes the pharmaceutical staff (4 years of schooling)more the 1 week to refill a K prescription and it still not be ready??? I dropped off a renewal prescription after work on a Thursday. I did not need the medication right away BUT I did tell them I would be back the next morning to pick them up. Friday morning I come in and there is something wrong with my prescription. Annoying, but I understand the pharmacist point. What I don't understand is why she continually speaks to me like it is my fault and like I wrote this prescription, and I am here just to annoy her. I think things get somewhat sorted out and I inform them that I will be back after work to come pick up my medication. So after work on a Friday I go back to JEAN COUTU and they tell me it is not ready. They tell me if I'd like to wait it will take up to 30min to get it ready. I am a patient person but if I give you 7 hours to get it ready for me it is because I don't HAVE TIME to wait 30min. I wait ten and then leave. Monday (72hours) morning I come to pick up my medication and guess what!? They are still not ready!!!! I have gone back unsuccessfully another 2! times AND called and asked them to deliver it to my place of work and still not receive my medication! It has now been 9 days!!!with out any explanation to why it has taken this long. I have now run out of my pills and have called another pharmacist to see if I can get my medication. If I can I will NEVER!!!! spend 1 penny in this place. I will recommend to all my friends, family, co workers and anyone who will listen to not step foot or spend their hard earned money in a place the is there to help their community with their health but blatantly spits in their face. I will try and go back and get all the pharmacies name that I spoke to and did nothing to help. This is someone life and their health that you did NOTHING for. If I worked in the pharmacy department I would quit of embarrassment. Then people responsible need to look at all these reviews about the pharmaceutical portion of this pharmacy and re evaluate their staff. First time I do a review on Google ever because I just had to. To whomever manager who reads this, the cashiers in front need better training. Dealing with customers is not only about punching in numbers on the cash register. Anything outside their comfort zone and they don't know how to handle it. All they want is to get rid of you instead of understanding your request and respond in a professional manner. I finally had a more senior person who was able to give me a reasonable answer and I was on my way out, no hassle. All that for a lousy and easy question on a plastic case for reading glasses.

I called from the recovery room of a hospital after face surgery to ask them to have morphine ready by evening. I called at 4pm, the hospital faxed it right after surgery that morning. They weren’t ready. They said 20 more minutes when we arrived. ONE HOUR LATER after saying 20 minutes, it was ready. Hospital pain pills had worn off long ago. Never use this pharmacy if you, like me, just had surgery hours ago and are in so much pain you’re crying in a dark room like a wee baby. Never will I allow these people to manage something as important as medicine again. They cannot be trusted to do what they say. This morphine is leggggggggit though two thumbs up.

I had an awful experience in this pharmacy. My gum was bleeding so hard and I had killing pain. They were supposed to prepare the medications in half an hour, but after 75 minutes, they just returned my prescription without medication. Very poor service!! Just want to explain my condition first!! I was suffering from intense cold, fever and throat infection!! I explained my situation to receptionist and she told me that it would take 10-15 minutes to speak to the pharmacist. She said they would announce my name. I sat there for 1 hour and 35 minutes. They didn't announce my name even once. When I went to the receptionist again she said we did announce your name and told me to wait for 10 minutes. Terrible service at the pharmacy. Last two times I went there I was the only client yet I managed to wait for ridiculous times. They somehow find a way to proscrastinate until another client shows up and keep pushing me back at the bottom of the list. Last time I went there to grab a prescription for my wife they told us over the phone it would be ready when I'd arrive. Meanwhile they managed to make me wait another full hour although there were barely any other clients, yet serving everyone else ahead of me regardless of order. Not only that but the pharmacist was completely unhelpful. Tonight I was being put through the same thing... I got smart and decided to walk out after seeing 3 other people managing to get served ahead of their turn. I'll take my business elsewhere and I recommend the same to anyone else looking to have prescriptions filled.

I usually don't write reviews, but this place seriously need to reconsider the employees that they hire. I parked my car in their parking lot not knowing that we have to purchase goods since I'm paying for the parking anyways. This woman gave me the shittiest attitude and dirtiest looks as if I committed a crime. And then went on to say that she's generous for not calling the cops on me. Are you joking? No one even parks in that parking lot, the lack of business is most likely due to cashiers like them. I offered to buy stuff but she refused and kept on giving me warnings. Horrible customer service. I developed the side effect of myocarditis after receiving the Pfizer vaccine about a week ago. I went in to see the pharmacist for advice, as I’ve been having severe heart palpitations, chest pains, and shortness of breath. As with many others suffering from myocarditis following the vaccine, the emergency room’s ECG, blood test, and X-ray came back normal. The ER told me I was just suffering from “anxiety”, which is nowhere near the truth, as I’ve had anxiety for years, and only developed heart inflammation the DAY of getting Pfizer. The pharmacist was rude, dismissive, and unprofessional. From the moment I went to the “advice” counter, she had basically decided that there was nothing wrong with me, and that I wasn’t worth listening to. I tried to show her the data on the recent trend of myocarditis developing in young people, but she refused to listen. Even after explaining my trip to the ER and about the “anxiety” mis-diagnosis, she told me I’m just having a “panic attack”. A panic attack? Really? For an entire week without pause? That’s not how this works. I’ve never met a pharmacist so pompous and holier-than-thou. Typical medical professional with a God complex, unwilling and unable to listen to the lowly, provincial “patient”, at risk of bruising their own inflated ego. On top of that, I was made to wait twenty minutes just for this valuable “advice”. Thanks for nothing, Jean Coutu! Use Pharmaprix instead.

The only thing this pharmacy has going for it is location, location, location. The female floor manager has been there too long and is rude and unprofessional. The post office's services as a whole are even worse. Mail carriers routinely leave delivery slips rather than deliver parcels. The prescription counter is overbearing and combative forcing customers to justify their physicians recommendations rather than follow their instructions. My doctor suggested I change pharmacies and if it wasn't so conveniently located, I would have a long time ago. I avoid buying anything there that isn't absolutely necessary. Avoid if you can.

My comment concerns the pharmacy section so move on if that is not your reason to be here. The pharmacy section is a disaster, actually a 0-star. It is the worst pharmacy I have been to in Montreal and in Canada. Unfortunately, that was close to my school and it is where my file is. Every-time I go there I try to be calm but they come up with something to make me frustrated like (usually) waiting for too long or messing up with the medication. Today after 55 minutes of wait I followed up and saw the lady was taking her time entering all the (online) orders in the computer and I was in queue with no hope in sight! This is while I was told when submitting my prescription that it would take 20 minutes. Yah maybe 20 minutes in Uranus time! Only after I complained they gave me priority and did my job. All of that wait only to see that they messed up my medication dosage because they could not read it properly (!) and they did not even bother to ask me. That is while I told them at the front desk when submitting my prescription that it was for a dosage increase but they clearly do not communicate these (necessary) stuff to each other like who is waiting there etc. Clearly someone needs to tell these people how to do their job because they lack basic judgement about how things are supposed to be done. They let you sit there for hours if you do not tell them that you are waiting. Good thing I am not going to deal with them from September on.

No!!! It's not the 1st time, not the 2nd time, but the 3rd time it happens, so it's not an exception or just a bad day. I'll change my pharmacy for sure. I went there to pick up my medication and they said you can wait for 40 minutes or you can come back tomorrow and take them right away. I came there the day after and they told me it's not ready and I should wait in small waiting area in which there were like 15 people waiting, some of them were arguing with the staff for long waiting time. I told them that my medication should be ready but the lady working there told me you should just wait to be called. After waiting for 1 hour (I mean 60 minutes in a small packed area with all angry people) I went to another receptionist and she told me that your medications were ready even yesterday. I told them why you kept me waiting for more than 1 hour and they said that they would see what the problem was. I recommend everyone just to go even further if you have to and find another pharmacy which respects its customers and values the people's time.

I called the night before to ask when it open so I can a picture for immigration they told me at 8 but the pharmacy didn't open until 8:15 made me late. Very unrealiable for a business that big!!!!!!!
I went in to purchase a perfume as a birthday present, but I'm very sick so I was taking an eternity with every perfume to be able to guess if the scent is what I'm looking for! One of your representatives, Melanie, was a Godsend! She helped me pick an amazing package that Jean Coutu is offering at the moment (the one with 9 échantillons where u can eventually pick one). Just your standard Jean Coutu. The store is visually appealing and clean, and has everything you need. I found it difficult to find the things I was looking for, possibly because the layout and product placement is a bit confusing. Thankfully, there were lots of employees around to ask. The checkout line was a bit slow because there was only one cash open.

Beware the cashier Marine. We told her how we wanted our change back (2x5$bills and the rest in change). When she got confused and started putting one of the bills back, we clarified how we wanted our change and she gave us attitude.
The staff member behind the prescription counter was very helpful in looking up the medication that I was after and finding the equivalent for me. Good service is almost always rewarded with a purchase!

If you are thinking about Passport photo or Visa photo service, this place forces you to buy their USB if you want digital photos. Even If you tell them the USB you will bring was purchased from last photo service from their place. "it doesn't work like that." was all the answers they can came up with. Explain it to me what seems to be the engineering problem you are experiencing with? You could just charge digital fees for digital photos instead of shoving your USBs to customers. Bad excuses, honestly, just plainly bad.
I second all the negative comments about the pharmacy; it is one of the worst. PJC has an amazing app to manage prescriptions and ordering for pickup at the store but picking up doesn't work! You would still have to wait in line like the others because the pickup counter is always closed and unattended! That beats the WHOLE purpose of the online ordering! Pharmacy is extremely badly managed; even with 12 employees behind the counter, none of them checks the pickup counter! Where is the pharmacy manager??!! PS: don't tell me to request delivery; I want to pick up. PJC: the problem is simple; fix it!
