After my son's refills run out I will be going to a different pharmacy in Perth. I do not mind the wait times, things happen, places get busy. I notice this is the biggest complaint about this location. That being said, the one pharmacist is highly unprofessional. He has messed up my Mother's prescriptions and he was also very unprofessional during a consultation about my son's thrush medication on today's date around 4:30 pm. I understand the pharmacist has a responsibility to inform patients about risks and precautions to make sure an infant/child does not develop thrush, but he was rude telling me, "the reason why this keeps happening to your son is because you are not sterilizing the bottles properly". First of all, this is the first and only time that my son has ever had thrush. Secondly, there needs to be a professional line of informing a patient versus being rude and misinformed or jumping to conclusions. To clarify, it was not Myron Li, his consultations have always been professional, it was the other pharmacist.

Store selection, cleanliness etc at Shoppers University Village is OK. Unfortunately, some of their staff (especially a couple of the "grey haired cashiers") need a BIG "tune up" when it comes to being friendly and welcoming. Seem to be mainly interested in getting customers out of the store, asap. Definitely don't make us feel like valued customers. ???? And NO one ever asks if you need help finding anything either. I've actually heard a couple of cashiers arguing LOUDLY with customers to the point of being extremely rude, several times. Not to us, but the "show" was hard to miss as the volume steadily increased. The staff also lacks knowledge and training when it comes to their rewards program. When I'm more aware of how a points program works than an actual employee, something is wrong in a big way. Then they have the nerve to argue about this when they are in the wrong!! That's happened to us twice. I love my Shoppers PC points, I'm not about to forfeit a bunch of them because a cashier doesn't know what they are doing. Something to be aware of if you like to save up PC points for big shops, like we do. Also, there are often quite a few dodgy (on drugs, begging...) people hanging around the University Mall too which is unfortunate. I don't mind someone politely asking for change but I DO mind being asked repeatedly or worse... bullied and harassed. ???? When someone is high on drugs, anything can happen.???? Perhaps some security on site at ALL times, is something to seriously consider. I enjoy shopping at the Country Club Shoppers much better. They have some really nice, helpful and friendly staff at CC and they DO offer to help on a regular basis, without being asked. I appreciate their overall usually positive attitude and atmosphere. I will probably be shopping at CC more from now on, even though it's not nearly as handy for us, a lot further away.???? The manager at the University Village location is obviously not keeping an eye on how customers are being treated. Or even worse, doesn't care! Lots of room for improvement here.

Constantly lost my wife's prescriptions or couldn't find them in the mess of other ones in buckets on the floor. Self checkouts installed recently and now there is hardly anyone in the store to help you. I dont plan to shop here unless I have to!

They put the wrong instructions on my prescription. The doctor prescription said four times a day and they put twice a day on meds. When I called they said pharmacist couldn't read the doctor's writing. I could read it just fine. Very sloppy and dangerous too for a pharmacy.

I was in shopping after 4pm. When I went to the cash 2 ladies were standing there at the back part of the checkout desk. No cash register lights were turned on. As I look at them to see who was going to come to cash, I got asked if it was paying by cash or debit. When I said debit I was told to use the self scan checkout. So I checked myself out wondering why 2 ladies are working the front cash if they dont want to serve customers.

The pharmacy is always understaffed. I've never been able to pick up anything without spending 10 minutes in line waiting. The staff, when you finally get to them, are nice enough. It is the management who chose to understaff the pharmacy that is to be blamed.

This shoppers is great and I have seen some employees help customers for multiple hours. Along with accommodating for the numerous elderly homes in the area by give them extra time and care. This is insane customer service considering the amount of customers they get in the day. I live in the area and I simply don't understand the other comments I see here.

The service is getting worse and worse every time I go in to this location. The cosmetic dept ignores you unless you’re looking at the high end products and the girls at the till ignore you hoping you’ll go to the self check out. Maybe that’s all they should use and they’d save a couple useless wages ? Spending thousands a month (prescriptions as well) at this location will not be happening anymore. Today , March 10 was my very last straw.

I love this place, first of all the location is very good for most people as it is right in the middle of downtown Windsor. The place is always stocked and the makeup is great for drugstore makeup. The food is fresh and clean. Customer service is amazing and i became friends with few of the workers. Definitely the best branch of shoppers drug mart.

If there’s a zero rating, I would have given that! My 2 kids & I went there to buy baby snack and a cute stuff toy but a friend called & need to see us urgently so we had to put back the stuff that we’re suppose to buy coz we’re running out of time. Then, this guy staff of shoppers just ran after us and “accuse” us of taking the stuff without paying it. I was surprise even my daughter coz we didn’t take anything. He said he saw in the video that we took the toy? Just that..but he was sorry after that..Well hey! Next time look closely so you won’t pissed people off! Never shopping in this store anymore

Will not go back to this store. It is UNSAFE as they are not enforcing physical distancing rules. I attended the store last eve, keeping my distance at all times. Down an aisle by myself and a 20 something man came and stood directly beside me! I raised my voice and told him to get away immediately. Complained to store staff and they said that they do not have the right to ask a customer to leave, and they were saying out loud that they don`t know what the policy is. ******Follow up: just spoke with store manager, Stacey. She was excellent on the phone, and will be talking to staff as they DO have the right to ask customers to leave the store. Thank you Stacey. Stay apart, stay safe!

Even after my husband showed her a picture of the typed address on a paper. My husband had to leave the parcel there, as she wouldn't give it back to him. I am DISgusted .

Shoppers staff were fine, it was the Pharmacist here, a Male who was abusive to me and mean and controlling. He raised his voice at me and tried to make me buy full prescriptions even though I told him I just moved here and Needed a few meds till I found mine. He did not care. I have 100 per cent insurance coverage on my meds and I am also a Veteran with a Severe Mental Illness and he did not care. He said he would charge me full price for a few pills, almost 70 dollars, instead of showing me compassion and caring to help me for a few days. I walked out very stressed and worried with no help from him. He also was going to make me wait another hour after already waiting an hour for meds from there. I never went back. If I gave this Pharmacist a 1 out if 10 rating for how mean he was to me on my first visit, I would give him a 10, being the meanest Pharmacist I have ever met. I suggest u go elsewhere, anywhere else is better than this place. I was hurt and I felt worried about my meds, I also felt afraid of this Pharmacist and I left very rapidly after he was so mean to me. I gave him none of my money and I went elsewhere. But the rest of the store and staff are nice I'll shop there for sure just not for medicine. He should feel ashamed of himself for his lack of professionalism here.

It’s the most rude and unfriendly service I got from a health care worker in my life and in the world!!! I just went out from the pharmacy of the shoppers drug mart asking completely shocked! I came in the evening of Wednesday September 29 asking for an advise from the pharmacist in charge this night. I waited 15minutes while the pharmacist was explaining to another customer about her medication. After she finished, she went back to the store and started to pack a bags of drugs with her colleague, I waited almost for another 10minutes then I asked her “excuse me I’m waiting for you” she answered me “wait minute, do you have a question?” I answered “of course, that why I’m waiting”. She finally came after another 5minutes… I really went there at 10pm because my daughter needed some medication, and it’s like that they treat you!

The male pharmacist at this location is very rude, condensing, and frankly just mean. He blamed me for not knowing my doctor changed my medication, this was not something my doctor and I talked about. So, naturally I had questions about this new medication and this pharmacist went off on me. The customer service reps are lovely there, but I'm going to have to switch pharmacies as this wasn't the first incident where I felt belittled by this employee who controls my medication.

Some of things wrong with this shoppers store: 1) Poor Customer Service 2)Long lineups at the checkout, and they don't call for another cashier 3)If you bring your own bag, majority of the cashiers won't bag your items unless you buy a plastic bag from them, then they will bag your items. Some cashiers there do bag your items though. Only good thing about the store are the markdowns and clearance items

The Pharmacy Department needs new management. I pick up a monthly prescription and it seems like they somehow always mess it up. They speak to customers in such a rude manner, and don't acknowledge certain customers as well.

This shopper drug mart is the worst for prescription drugs, the staff in the pharmacy is very rude, no manners to talk with the clients, uses very rough language and behaves disgracefully. I went to fill a prescription today and the pharmacist was the only one behind the counter. The phone was ringing, people were at the counter, she was busy. I heard her on the phone tell someone there was no delivery today but she'd drop the prescription off after work. I commended her on this and she said, the husband is ill and she can't get around. I have a whole new respect for mankind and after years of having prescriptions filled here, I will never leave as long as this woman is a pharmacist.

Was just travelling around the Yukon from Alberta, and my partner and I both needed medical help at different times. Had a male dr in Fort Saint John BC who tried to explain menstruation to me instead of answer my questions, and a pharmacist at this location in Whitehorse easily help us out with dignity and respect. I wish the pharmacist was my doctor. He was polite and concise and listened to our concerns. Top notch. Might move to Whitehorse to have him as my pharmacist.

Shopper Drug Mart cannot be this bad, can they? I received my first COVID vaccination April 5. I had the first appointment and was instructed to come 10 minutes early. No one from the vaccination team was there and the first arrived 9:00am and they finally got all their systems up and running 10 minutes after the hour. I was vaccinated at 9:28. They had me come up 3 times to re-enter data I had provided just minutes earlier. The excuse was they had a glitch - two people after me had no such issue and were vaccinated before me. SHOW UP to work 10 minutes earlier and the glitch may never happen. Then they gave my Health card to another customer and i was given the Vaccination record of someone else. The person directing this circus yelled at me for complaining. Got a call today, in the morning, 10 weeks after my first shot of AstraZenica. They left a message to call to get my second shot. I returned the call and was told that they had made an error. At 3:00PM I received a call again and was told to come in for my second shot. I advised them I had my first April 5th and they told me it was ok as I would be receiving Pfizer. I got to the Shoppers Drug Mart on Morrison St in Niagara Falls, presented myself and my Health Card, completed the form and waited. After 15 minutes the same person running the show the first time called my name and came marching over very firmly telling me I could not get my second shot as I had to wait 12 weeks. I advised I was called to come in (twice). "You called me..." I attempted to explain and was rudely shut down and told to leave they couldn't do it. Other than waiting many people, I am sure, will have a very normal experience. Write a post if you have had either but, my advice is to not deal with this circus if you are able to go elsewhere for your vaccination!

Every time I go this unit they charge me wrong. I learned better and I usually shop taking pictures of every item I get to make sure they are charging me the correct price. Sometimes the cashier will come with an excuse that the price is no longer valid even if the price tag is still on their shelve. They definitely need to do a better job on making the price on the shelves and POS match.

Well just left this store. I have never been so disrespected in my life. I been a spending money in this store for 25 years without issues. Recently I have a friend accused of stealing from the outlet on University Avenue on here break in her work outfit ankd dumped her personal belongings all over the counter. After all that there was nothing on her that was stolen. Manger then realized that they were in the wrong and apologized offered a gift card and let her leave. Now after all that she returned to the store to make another purchase and was again approached by the same store clerk again accusing her if the same offense and again and was proven wrong again the second time. This is also had been done in front of all the people inside. Embarrassed and upset she left the store. So Tonight I am at store she is with me. I approached the store clerk asking to see if there is a way to smell a certain perfume and with response rudely to my question and proceed to follow us to the self check out. So my friend asked if I wanted a reusable bag. I said yes. So she went to get one for me. Then the store clerk started to point out rudely that she had stuff in her hands still but we were not finished putting things thru the machine. I responded that we are not finished he spoke with a tone that was very disrespectful so I don't and said " I think I don't want to finish my purchase because of the disrespecting demeanor of his presence" also with the comments to my friend calling her a thief. Which was proven wrong twice. So we proceeded to leave the store when she told me that this individual was the same clerk that had given her the hard time the first place. I never been so embarrassed and humiliated in my life. Management then came over to see what was happening and I began to tell him meanwhile the clerk was still screaming at my friend telling her I know you your a thief and don't come back. I asked for a Manager. Which he responded that he was owner. I was like you do not own here. And proceed to argue with me I told them I have money and have no reason to steal where I showed my wallet and asked them if they want to see my bank account now in 3 days I spent hundreds of dollars in that store treating myself with make up perfumes shampoos everything women love which we all know is not cheap. I would like to make this a issue. So please beware of this particular staff member of this store. As he if falsely accusing and rudely speaking to females that are not doing anything wrong. So be prepared for what is to come we will be making this a public issue. Because this is not right. Purchased brand new computer from this store. Opened up the box, started getting it set up with my accounts, and the computer battery is plugged in but isnt charging. I tried returning it in exchange for one of this exact model, and they refused. I asked for my money back, and they refused this as well. I asked to speak to a manager, and they told me that the manager isnt in on sundays. I insist that they call their manager to resolve this and let me speak to them. They called their manager but refused to let me speak to the manager. I'm absolutely outraged because I spent nearly $500 for a computer. I left and when I got home i contacted the manufacturer and found out that this computer was previously owned and has been refurbished, and there is NO WARRANTY AVAILABLE. I will never shop here again. And I'm getting ready to sue.

I have been really disappointed with the service by the pharmacy team at my local Perth location. I was inquiring about booking a COVID Rapid Antigen test for a trip in January. The gentleman pharmacist wasn't very responsive to my questions and just told me to book a test online. There was no lineup behind me, he just appeared he didn't want to help answer my questions. Anyway, I went to the shoppers website and and had a terrible experience trying to book a test. It redirected me to the LifeLab website and wants me to pay $150??? Tried calling The Perth shoppers twice, no response . So I call Smiths Falls shoppers 1min later Shawn a wonderful pharmacist took the time to LISTEN to my concerns and booked me an appointment over the phone. I understand it's a stressful time for us all but Shoppers is the only business providing this service in the area and should be ready to assist it's community.This is the wrong approach to service and the booking Experience on the website needs to be clear for rapid testing/ traveling. Apologies for the lengthy message but this is an important review for service

The guy taking in the prescriptions looks like he's on vacation and they really offered no cares and not much they can do. Don’t mind this location at all. Pretty neat and clean. Good selection. Convenient location. I’ve done everything from grab munchies to photocopy documents there. Better selection that a lot of shoppers. I’m a big fan of the are they keep all the nut mixes and granola bars. I’ve even bought movies from the area over by the photocopiers... great prices on discounted favourites. Not bad at all.

Just like the equivalent one in my town. Decent place with pretty much everything a drug store should have. The place could've needed a bit of a clean up. Maybe it was the heat outside, but the temperature inside was refreshing. Some simple products weren't where they usually are in places like this. Went into store me and one of my friends, to pick up a friend from the store. We were followed around by store employees the whole time and asking why we were here, we told her looking for a lady who came in, the employee followed right to the doors going out. Then to top it off the security alarm went off at doors I said what's going on went off twice, then she said most likely a glitch with the system, with that same employee standing right by door also.... I will never be going back there being profiled, obviously they need more training in public relations...

Worst costumer service ever. I went to this location last night to check what time their post office will open tomorrow Feb 17th . On the information sheet it says 9:00am . I went there 10 Mins earlier waited until 9:05 am , no one shows up . Asked for help , a guy says ,oh they got it wrong , it opens at 10:00am . And he didn't apologize for the mistake. Keep saying " she got it wrong " "they got it wrong " I don't care , when I am taking to you, and you are working for shopper's, in my eyes you are representing shopper's . First they don't even know the correct opening time , second, the costumer service is so bad . I will never shop at shoppers ever. There is a safeway upstairs anyways.

This is the best shoppers in Chatham. It is always clean and tidy and the staff are always friendly. The parking lot is spacious and clean. The lines at the checkout are always flowing good. I would recommend this shoppers over the other two in Chatham. This is a great shoppers.

This store is quite gloomy and quiet; often not very busy, but it is only OK to me. The store doesn't have a great selection of products; more just a little bit of everything, here and there. The prices aren't bad, some of the sales there are good, and you can get some good things for quite cheap. The customer service, however, is lacking. I was not greeted with a "hello", and the cashier did not even acknowledge me. The cashier seemed to not care about anything, and slammed the cash register quite rudely. No "goodbye", "have a nice day" or "thank you", even when I tried saying "hi" or "bye". They may have just had a bad day, but I would appreciate better service. Might come here if I need to get something quick, but I wouldn't choose this Shoppers if I had the option.

I went to Shoppers, Third line today to pick up a prescription and the line-up for the pharmacy was 4 people ahead of me. I don't mind waiting because I need my medication but when you have people buying prescriptions and store items at the same time, it makes the wait time 10x longer. The customer at the front of the line was taking her sweet time putting up her items to scan and everyone else was getting frustrated. I finally left without my prescription. They should have a strict policy where at the pharmacy, you are picking up / dropping off a prescription only! Not buying just anything in the store. The pharmacy workers are there to distribute medication. That should be their main focus. On a positive note, I will say that all my prescriptions have all been done correctly and ready in a timely manner. They still only get 2 stars for the quality of service.

The information about covid-19 vaccines is confusing and misleading. Please update your website so people know you are only offering vaccines to high risk populations. It's also impossible to book a vaccine online, even though it's supposedly an option on the website. I had great difficulty getting my call through and checked the number several times. When the phone did pick up, I was on hold for 15 minutes. After reading some of the other reviews I can see there is work that needs to be done to improve the customer experience.

I made an appointment online for my daughter to receive an antigen test, so that she can attend her competitive gymnastics program. I received a text verification from the company. When I showed up at the pharmacy for my scheduled appointment, I was told by a gentleman working at the pharmacy (named Moses) that he had no appointment and that he couldn't help me. I explained that I had made an appointment online and I showed him my appointment confirmation. He responded with, I can't help you, but you can call back at 3:30! I told him I didn't understand, and he just repeated 'I can't help you'. He did not make a phone call to inquire if I could get the test done somewhere else, or look into what caused the mix up on the company's end. I was shocked with level of unprofessionalism.

Staff are rude and the return policy is a joke. I bought a defective LED dog collar from shoppers, didn't light up. Try to exchange for another one, only got turned down by several cashiers. They said the box is opened, so it's not returnable/exchangeable. If I don't open the box, how can I know it's not working? They never have prescriptions ready when ordering online, long wait times, over charge on prescriptions (go to a pharmacy that your insurance provider covers or they can charge whatever they want and keep over billing you.) Watch your refill amounts as mine would disappear. Poor service/consistently rude. It may be in a convenient location but defiantly not worth it.

Beauty counter is really helpful and friendly when you walk in, rest of store staff is friendly and quiet. Store layout is easy to follow and very clean, everything is always in its place. Pharmacy works as best as they can. I’d imagine that their proximity to the hospital has them filling a large volume of prescriptions for regular and irregular customers. They do a good job given how stressful it is right now to work in retail/service sector during a pandemic. To everyone giving this place a poor rating, please understand that these are humans, not robots. They’re doing the best they can during a pandemic with limited staff and delays on medication arrivals from drug companies. Please treat them with respect, and you’ll get the same back. A little compassion, empathy, understanding, and compromise will go a long way during a pandemic. So instead of getting frustrated with staff, take a breath and be polite. If you can’t do that because you’re in a grumpy mood, just bite your tongue and try your best to be nice. We don’t know what they’re going through in their lives and they do not deserve verbal abuse or major attitude from you at all. Great Pharmacy! I called first to transfer my prescription from another pharmacy. It took a while to get through on the phone but this is understandable considering we are in a pandemic. While talking on the phone, the pharmacist was able to find smaller doses of my medication because I was working with my doctor to adjust dosage to minimize side effects. She went and checked their inventory to make sure they had enough of the lower dose pills. They contacted the other pharmacy quickly and my prescription was ready when they said it would be ready. Thanks for the helpful and prompt service.

I would give this location a zero if I could. The security guards they keep hiring should be called paid stalkers by the way they follow people around the store and stare at them. Then while I was giving a complaint about being followed and made to feel uncomfortable to the supervisor the security guy came up and started mouthing off to me saying my expectations for how he should be doing his job (without alienating the customers) were "too high". This place is the worst!

This review pertains to the Pharmacy. While I do find the pharmacists nice and knowledgable, the organization and customer service at this location is very poor. Almost every time I go there is some sort of mess up with my prescription. The latest example being that I phoned in my prescription to be ready 2 days ago. Upon trying to pick up (2 days after it was supposed to be ready), it was never processed. They then tell me it will just be a bit longer they have to count it. I ask for an approximation of how long it will be and they tell me just to sit down and they are not sure as it has been "quite a mess today." An hour later it is counted, but it's only 33 pills, so I must come back again when the rest of the 132 pills are ready. Perhaps they need a bit more staff to fit the volume of orders they have?

The management and staff at this location deserve to be awarded for their commitment to their community and complete awareness of mental health issues. From the beginning of the mandatory mask bylaw I have been given a hard time by at least one staff member every where that I shop except here. (I am medically exempt) Kinda funny when you consider that it is a Drugstore. Because of this I have found myself buying more grocery items from your store. It is also nice that you carry amazon gift cards as well seeing as this is where most of my remaining grocery shopping is done. I find that your prices are quite comparable to most grocery stores too! Even cheaper when it’s on sale. Thank you guys!

Long wait between patients. Appointment was for 10:30am, after my Maderna Vaccine and waiting the mandatory 15 minutes it was close to noon. Approximately 11:45 am I was walking out. Great place, great information and to be clear I'd rather wait the extra time to allow the pharmacy to get things done right rather than be rushed through. I would have gave 5 star ???? had the waiting not been so long. If your going for a Vaccine allow extra time. All other services were moving along at the usual covid pace.

This New Glasgow location really needs more checkout staff on weekends during 2 day sales.The lines get long as lotto tickets are checked and tobacco is purchased. Affiliated with Atlantic Super Store their prices do not match. Self check outs are way too close such that your neighbor may see your pin number or you might catch an elbow while packing your items. The pharmacy is efficient and did (still might) offer pagers so you could browse if there was a line up.

I have had so many difficulties with the Trenton pharmacy I am surprised I have put up with it so long. Never know when getting a prescription if my benefits are going to be used or if they are even going to find us in their system. They always have excuses and pass the blame on us or my benefit plan. Sick of going in their and having to put my family and benefit plans in or checking the bill to make sure it was used. Went to this location for the AZ vaccine as a walk in. Josh did a fantastic job organizing and coordinating the line. Very poised and professional. The system, once I was in the store, was fine. My only suggestion is the waiting area before the shot is not well designated. Maybe a bigger sign saying" wait here for vaccine" rather that a "2" would be more informative. Mohamed was so good at administering the shot, I didn't even feel it. Ted, the manager(?) and his wife were very pleasant in the post shot area. Overall the store was clean and well organized. I had a great experience in this SDM.

I frequent this Shoppers Drug Mart quite regularly and usually have a good experience. However this last time I went I tried to redeem the remaining value on a $25.00 gift card I had received for my birthday. (There is about $20.00 left on it.) When I tried to pay, their card reader wasn't working, the check out girl didn't re-try it she simply said if I wanted to still purchase the items I'd have to pay another way. This pharmacy doesn’t even deserve a single star. I’ve made four attempts to pick up a simple prescription this week. Each time, I’ve waited 15-20 minutes in a slow line only to find that a prescription I’ve been told has been filled before coming either hasn’t been done yet, there has been an IT issue, they’re “a little behind”, or that one of my prescriptions doesn’t exist. The employees here look exhausted, overworked, and poorly managed. They should rebrand this location to Shoppers Mart because I’ve never seen a pharmacy struggle so much to do the one thing they’re supposed to be able to do. I was told this prescription would be ready on Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, and now Saturday. Last I checked, 10-15 minutes was shorter than five days and counting. I won’t be ever sending another prescription here, and if you’re reading this wondering what to think, I’d advise you to do the same. On the final attempt when I finally got my prescription, I waited for 15 minutes (beyond standing in line) and the technician actually forgot what I was waiting for while I was standing there the entire time. I’m not angry... I’m just disappointed. Customer care, if you wish to respond this review encouraging me to call in to make my voice heard about my experience, I’d appreciate if you could just show corporate head office how terrible this location’s reviews are and address the problem instead of copying and pasting the same thing over and over pretending that there isn’t a serious systemic issue involving how this pharmacy is being managed. That said, I wouldn't want to prescribe a treatment plan in this review on how to make this location function properly because I don't know how to run a pharmacy either.

Very bad customer service and rude employees. They accused my daughter twice for steeling jewelry. One of the incidents was when I was with her and we purchased $46 worth of items. The security guard followed her around the store, making it uncomfortable and unsafe to shop. We paid for our purchase of $46 (as the security guard stood 3 meters away and watched us), and we followed by heading out towards our car. He came outside running after us and accused my daughter of stealing a pair of earrings that she “put it in her bag”. She held her bag up with confidence as to prove she was innocent and the security guard ended up switching the subject and told her that next times she should put items back where they belong if not purchasing them. The security guard left immediately. I went back inside and confronted the security guard telling him his behaviour is disrespectful especially after watching us pay and go through the anti-theft detector. I repeatedly asked for his name and he responded with “go ahead and complain but I’m not going to give you my name!”. I proceeded to speak to the manager and he told us next time to tell the security guard that we are just “regular costumers”. Unbelievably disrespectful. I will no longer shop at this shoppers drug mart after these many horrible experiences.

The cosmetics and perfume section has a variety of good products and shampoo and skin care aisle have a variety of options to choose from. There are a lot of parking spots available in front of the store, too.

I DON'T know what is going on with customer service nowadays sales people seriously have something up their butts and love trying to put people in their place. I worked retail and never brought whatever I was going through to work but from making a big deal for an exchange without having the tags attached to being straight up rude without making eye contact at the cash it's beyond me. Yesterday my mom and I were here around 1 p.m. to check out a brand in the beauty section and I had wandered over to a table with Versace perfume on display in travel size packaging. They only seemed to have 2 of the scents on display in a big size I just wanted to see the size of it and opened it to examine as it was only $30 for one. I didn't plan on spraying it knowing very well that would be wrong to whomever potentially bought having I sampled it. Next thing I know this long black haired female who looked middle eastern comes up beside me loudly saying "please don't spray or open that perfume miss" I was like excuse me how dare you accuse me of such a thing I was just checking the portion amount she replied I get it sampled on a paper for you and I remarked can I HAVE that and another one I was interested in when I checked her attitude and my mom and I gave her a reality check only then did she put on this nice front and asked me to let her know if I needed anything else. I walked away disgruntled there is an Indian girl there who is such a sweetheart but this one should be fired.

I shop at Penticton Shoppers drug mart every week. Today's customer service was the absolute worst I have EVER had!! I was not treated well, I was rudly dismissed from the cashier as she (Greta) wouldn't wait 30 seconds to top up my order by a dollar so I could receive my bonus points!! I would have lost out completely if I hadn't noticed order was short. Cashier did not help make sure the customer (me) gets the benefit of bonus points. I thought they wanted repeat customers? I just left the beauty department where I came specifically to buy a foundation only carried by shoppers. When I was asked if I needed help it was the exact moment that I found the item I needed and told the nice young lady help wasn't necessary. As she walked away I heard the older brown haired manager tell the girl to watch me. I understand loss prevention measures but if you want to encourage people to cash out at the beauty desk maybe be a little more discreet about it. That made me super uncomfortable I didn't want to browse anymore make up items. The young blonde girl was very nice the one star is for her.

This is the closest post office to me. I now go well out of my way to avoid this post office. I could list more than a hand full of things that of happened but instead just take my advice and go to Peter st. They have the WORST customer service at Front st, not to mention the supervisor has a pretty poor sense on how to speak with customers. One of the worst customer service experience i have ever had in my life at this Pharmacy's COVID Testing Centre. Specifically the lady in the COVID Testing Centre is extremely rude, her tone of voice is abrasive, body posturing was aggressive, and had the guile to slam the door on us. The company needs to train the pharmacy staff to behave in a customer friendly manner. Highly recommend not to use this particular pharmacy COVID Testing Service. I will escalate this behaviour to Halton Region Public Health as well.

This is for the pharmacy. .. I finally had to give up on this place as a pharmacist go across the road or down the street. Was told they would deliver my wife's thyroid meds .. it never showed up..again. prescriptions are not ready when we are told. The last straw was they told me they would call me when my prescription was ready. Two weeks later they call me.. by that time I was out of area. When I got back two weeks after that they had thrown it out.

Three degrading experiences in a year. Been doing business with Shoppers for decades, I will no longer be giving my business to this franchise and unlikely to any others. I have medical issues and an exemption to not wear a mask. I was asked to leave the store as per the owner despite medical documentation to validate my exemption and a copy of the public health act which I shown to staff. I contacted the owner and customer care to express my concerns. Both apologized for the inconvenience. However, there is a big difference between an inconvenience and being discriminated against. The law always supersedes any organizational policy, this business doesn't think so. I wish I read other reviews prior to spending money here as it appears there is a history of discrimination at this store. Buyer beware!

In my opinion: The Pharmacist/Owner is rarely there so, no quality control or oversight. Very poor customer service, follow-through or apparent interest in meeting customer's needs. Little attention to detail. After struggling with this pharmacy for 2 years I have finally given up and have taken my business to Sullivan's Pharmacy in East city where they actually do care, and are committed to providing excellent service.

1 was 2nd in line next to be served 1 till was open and the other closed, then a women came up behind me and the other till opened for her seems like they were friends since new the persons name. done serving that person closes till. then another person comes behind me then opens the till for them served them then closed the till.I was in the line up for the till 2nd for awhile since an elderly person was in front of me checking lotto tickets instead of having the person go to the lotto check machine. seemed I looked wrong to her or something. I was not impressed. hopefully the manager sees this and makes corrections.

I went to the pharmacy to pickup my prescription which were faxed by my doctor. Attended by “Nisha” firstly she said, they didn’t receive the prescription without even checking. When I told her that it was faxed in the afternoon, then she looked in her counter and she said have just received few minutes ago. She was giving attitude and her behaviour was very pathetic. She then asked to wait for 20 minutes and to come back to collect the medicines. After the wait she said we don’t know if we have the medicines on stock. Like Omg!! What on earth is wrong with her. She said to hold on after that. I was so losing my patients. I mean after all if you don’t want to help anyone just say no at the first place.. Now it’s almost past half an hour.. then I finally I got my medicines and can return home. My whole experience was terrible. I would have given 0 star.

The staff here are nice enough and the store is reasonably clean and well organized but the real problem is they are just so unbelievably slow! It's common to wait 5 minutes or more when you are only the second person in line waiting to pay. I've stopped here more than 10 times over the past year and every time I'm frustrated by how long I have to wait just to pay for my things. I suppose it's my own fault because I keep going back. Maybe they will introduce some self checkouts, because as bad as those are they would still be a huge improvement.

Covid 19 Pandemic and Shoppers on Second Line just let everyone in yesterday. No line up outside the door to limit customers yesterday; just chaos inside with many customers not bothering to keep proper physical distance from other shoppers. For those of us trying to maintain social distancing, it was a nightmare. The poor young check out clerk said it had been like that all day and that people were just ignoring social distancing. I won't go back at all while this pandemic is still occurring. I spoke to a friend who had the exact same experience shopping here and she also won't go back.

Called a week in advance to get my prescription transferred from another pharmacy. When I arrived at the time I told them I would pick up the drug, on the day I needed it, it was clear that no one had followed up beyond having the prescription transferred. Pharmacist seemed pretty indifferent about whether or not they got me the drugs I needed. Told me to come back the next day, despite already being told that wasn’t an option. Blamed the pharmacy assistants for the problem. Not a good place for anything beyond standard prescriptions.

I only every shop here for a small selected amount of goods and usually use the post office outlet a couple of times per year. This particular occasion I used the postal outlet on December 13, 2017. I was greeted by 2 young male school students. The service I received was incredible! The young lads were exceptional. Even though one young guy was training the other younger guy the service was the best I have ever received from any postal outlet, EVER! Canada Post should have a look here, these boys can show the main post office a thing or 2, great job!

The staff can not get any worse at this location. They have zero customer service skills and zero knowledge. Make sure you are always watching them when checking out because they seem to make mistakes regularly and when you ask or call them out on it, they get upset and roll eyes (these are 60+ yr old women I'm talking about)I wouldn't be surprised if this location shut down in the near future, it has really gone to down the drain. The pharmacy is probably 3x longer wait time then other Shoppers. South end shoppers is the best one!

My girlfriend and I were explicitly racially profiled from the moment we walked in. Weren't even subtle about it, over heard one staff tell the other to "keep an eye on the Urban Decay sign". This was the section we were in and we were continuously followed since then. We actually had more stuff to buy on our list but had cut our trip short because of how uncomfortable we felt. Worst Pharmacy ever!!! A Dr who wrote prescriptions out for me, messed up, so faxes had to be exchanged to correct the error. I think the phone would have been a good thing but that's how they do it. Faxes were not being checked as they came in. When one came in, it would be put on the bottom of the list, even though I had already waited and waited. One drug was being changed, so the rest of the old prescription was to be deleted. This was all mentioned yesterday. Today, I went in to get the new drug and an antibiotic because it was supposed to be all worked out. I got the new drug finally and even had the Pharmacist speak to me about the drugs. I told him that I was to switch from the Metformin to the new drug. He sold me the Metformin anyway!!! The two bottles - 360 tabs!!!- that I will NOT be taking!!! The government only allows a certain amount of drugs at a time to seniors to cut back on waste, if they happen to be allergic or whatever reasoning the the government has. It's not the seniors who are wasting the money!!! It's the Pharmacists who do things like this who are wasting the government money!!! To top it off, I DID NOT get the antibiotic, so my bladder infection will have to wait longer for treatment!!!

If I could give this Shoppers location, and their pharmacist a lower rating I absolutely would. My son is 2 months old and requires medication, his refill was faxed in at 11am. I called and was told the prescription would not be ready until the following day in the afternoon, as it is a compound mixture. According to the pharmacist it takes over 24 hours to fill. I explained this is not acceptable he cannot miss two doses. The pharmacist then proceeded to tell me that it was not his problem, they are busy, and hung up on me. I had this very same prescription filled in under two hours at another location. DO NOT USE THIS PHARMACY!

I Went yesterday morning for a dr's appointment. They faxed over the prescription before 10am. I was told my script would be full and ready for pick up that night. We go this morning, as it for sure should be ready for pick up. Guess what? The script is not ready. We need to wait 30 mins for them to hand us a pack of test strips for my blood sugars. Not even pills they need to figure out the dose ect. They just have to litterly hand over a bottle of test strips, and they don't have their self together enough to have this script ready, almost 24hours later!!!!. I'm not impressed, we are going to be switching to Roulstons. Much better service.

This location provides an awesome customer service. The front store people offers an assistance to the customers finding the things that they are looking for. They make the store organized, neat and clean. The pharmacy helps patients with their rejected claims to get it billed through to the insurance plan and gives patients a callback as soon as the issue has been resolved. They get the prescriptions ready in less than 15 minutes. They build a good relationship with their patients during the visitation. They have free-services available like medication delivery, blister packing, flu vaccinations, naloxone kits, etc. The pharmacy is always available to answer medical concerns and drug inquiries over-the-phone or in-person. Their prescribing pharmacist provides travel assesment, vaccinations, and prescriptions to people going back home or travelling to another country.

so I'm bored and I'm writing a review - and I thought - what's my favourite place in Mississauga. It's definitely Gita and Eleina at Shoppers Drug Mart Square One. I've known them for like 8 years now and we recognize each other just by a hello. They answer their phone fast - unlike any other Shoppers Drug Mart. The whole team at pharmacy are very friendly and professional. Glad to have them in my life.

This shopper's drug mart location has HORRENDOUS service. If I could I would rate this place zero stars. This happened last year, but for some reason I just suddenly felt enraged so I wanted to share my experience. Sometime last year, I went to shopper's and bought a $30 Homesense giftcard. I walked out of the store and went to sit at the food court, but when I looked in the bag I realized my giftcard wasn't there (I had also purchased another item so I didn't immediately notice). I searched everywhere, and I couldn't find it so I went back to the store. I told the cashier that served me that my giftcard wasn't in the bag but she just shrugged her shoulders, and she got her boss who also said there was nothing they could do and basically just ignored me. This other lady came and asked for the card number from my reciept AND IT TURNED OUT THAT THE CARD WAS ON THE COUNTER BESIDE THE CASHIER THAT SERVED ME. By the way I also had to wait like 20 minutes for someone to come and help me. If I wasn't persistent then my money would've been gone. ITS ALSO OBVIOUS FROM WHERE MY CARD WAS THAT THE CASHIER INTENTIONALLY DIDN'T PUT IT IN THE BAG. I don't understand how this can happen accidentally. I hypothesize that the cashier wanted to keep the giftcard for herself. At the time when I finally got my card back I was just so fed up that I didn't file a complaint, but now I wish I did. I didn't get an apology or anything.

The points app wasn't working but that's the fault of head office. The person who was working the till (Tarah i believe) was nice and gave me a heck of a fright when we got it working by cracking a joke about only being able to add to my gift card. Another person also was quite helpful explaining how to redeem my points when i first got in. Didn't catch her name but was also helpful Pleasant experience all around. This place sucks. I was there today and one of the self checkout kiosks was out of paper and therefore not usable. I told and employee 3 times who was at the counter next to it that is all that was needed and the line was unnecessary. While this is a typical Shoppers Drug Mart I find that there is never enough staff on and you either can't find someone to assist you or the line up for the cash register is ridiculously long. There never seems to be anyone managing the staff. Customer service is quite lacking. I also find it frustrating that they only open the tills near the back of the store but never open the tills near Columbia Street. Tend to go to other Shoppers Drug Mart locations as a result.

Its a nice clean store. I love that they have wide range of all luxury cosmetics and fragrances. I shop here very often as its close to my work. Couple days ago I visited with some acne concerns and the lady who helped me was very calm,took her time explained and suggested different products which I appreciate .she showed me good options. As its 20× event I decided to purchase fragrance next day but this time the girl I guess she just wanted to make sales for her commission. The sales girl didnt care for what I was looking for. She just wanted to sell me something quickly as they are more concerned about the commission they make. She didn't show me or suggested and good perfumes.I felt like being rushed. I ended up exchanging my perfume next day and again she did the same thing . Left me alone in the section and said just come to the front when ready! Very disappointing when u spend 100's of dollars and no one to assist you. I would not be shopping here again.

UNSAFE FOR COVID-19. None of the pharmacists are wearing masks. None of the workers are wearing masks. As the pandemic numbers rise business should be using the utmost caution. Working in the health care industry with out taking extra care makes me nervous. It's too bad -the people working here seemed quite nice. I hope they don't get sick. Prescription faxed to them at 9:45am. Arrived at 8pm to pick up prescription. Ten minutes and three pharmacy techs searching and they tell me they never received it. I leave, pharmacist comes to my car and tells me they just got it. NO, you did not. You just FOUND it. Go back in to get prescription paperwork to take to another pharmacy. Assistant states she didn’t know it was a prescription when it arrived that morning. Apparently the big word “PRESCRIPTION” on the top, or the “Drug prescribed” section on the left, or the doctors signature didn’t give it away. Took my business to Pharma Plus where the prescription was literally in my hands in two minutes. Will not trust Shoppers for my medication needs ever again. This unprofessionalism and lack of organization is frightening when they are handing out medications.

Edited, new review.in pharmacy..Wasn't given info for my concerns. My honest opinion is that there's so much confusion going on that I have trust issues. This is now the 3rd time that I have had extreme dishonesty. I was told I signed up for their online med ordering which I never did. Be very careful if you receive a message from them. I thought this could have been spam as I didn't sign up. The person in pharmacy repeatedly said I did sign up for online. I can truly see that they don't have my best interests at heart. The man I spoke with on the phone basically said I was lying as I had to have signed up, End result, was charged full price for a portion of meds as they ran out yet again. I have to go back in and wait again, and I have to find the money now to pay for this error on their part for giving me a script I didn'to rder. They don't do refunds due to pandemic. Pretty sad to be that way during covid19. I guess it really is time to switch to a smaller pharmacy. They work with you, not against you. The cashiers in store part are fantastic....I only have good things to say about them..just not the pharmacy. They really upset me...Money is tight right now and to be charged for something I didn't order upsets me terribly. I'm sure some people are treated well, but I haven't been.

Literally the worst pharmacy. If you have the option to get your prescription sent somewhere else, do. It takes DAYS for my prescriptions to be ready, and it’s one of the most common prescriptions there is. I’ve never had to wait this long anywhere else. And they don’t tell you it’s going to take that long. Every time I show up to pick it up (well after they’ve told me it’ll be ready) it’s still not ready for me because the pharmacist hasn’t looked at it yet (it’s happened the last three times). And then I proceed to wait another half an hour at least in the store for them to look at it. I have no idea why I keep going back.

lately, getting any kind of service at the Pharmacy takes anywhere from a half-hour to an hour. i dunno if it's because there's a lack of staff, or what. there usually is quite a few people working at the same time, yet i'm left to sit around and wait for, what feels like, an crazy amount of time. it seems the quality has dropped in recent months. EDIT: after waiting an hour for my perscription, i get home to find out that they messed it up and didn't even give me the amount i paid for. no one at the counter said anything to me about a shortage of pills, or lack of product. absolutely unnaceptable.

This was my go-to pharmacy, and I usually pick up a couple of things when I go to get my medication. Last time I was in, I picked up my meds (and the pharmacy and pharmacist is 100% awesome, this review isn't about that) and went to cash out on some coffee cream, and found all of the friendly and helpful cashiers had been replaced by a self-checkout, and a very nice young lady who (for the time being at least) was there to walk customers through the process of doing the job of a cashier. I will no longer buy anything here, as they've taken away much-needed jobs from the community. It's still my go-to pharmacy for medication, always will be, but I won't be buying anything here again until I see humans back at cash registers. Yes, automation is a trend and it will eventually be the way things are, but I'll keep shopping at the holdouts that like to employ actual people from our community. Plus, TBH, at the end of the day I don't want to do a cashier's job, I just want them to ring my stuff up, pay, and leave. Bring back the jobs to this store and get rid of the self-checkout as the only option, and I'll be back.

Having a great pharmacy is almost as important as having a great physician, and this Shoppers exceeds expectations. The pharmacy staff -- from the knowledgeable and professional pharmacists to the friendly and accommodating pharmacy assistants -- is top notch. Owner/pharmacist Ereni took the time to sit down with my records and review every medication, suggesting alternatives where appropriate and helping me better understand effects and side-effects. The other pharmacists have been extremely helpful as well, actually coming from around the counter and discussing and advising on meds on the shelves. They are great about contacting physicians for refills and provide wrap-around service. Most important, they take a genuine and personal interest in me and my health. The fact that you can basically live on the variety of groceries and basics in the front end, staffed again by friendly and helpful employees, not to mention a bewildering array of beauty and health products and a post office, is a bonus that makes this place a huge asset to our neighbourhood. Now, if they'd just get rid of those darned self-checkout kiosks....

Went in at 4pm to drop off my didn't call me to tell me my prescription and was told to come back around 8pm. I showed up when they told me (8pm) and it was not in stock and they didn't call me to warn/let me know and because of the time all other pharmacies in the area are closed and I got to go elsewhere tomorrow. So I have to start my sinus infection medication day later because of their screwed up. Look as the rating of this pharmacy and do yourself a favor and go to another one, there's plenty nearby.

Been going here for many years, the pharmacy used to be great but in the last few years we've had nothing but problems. They regularly refuse to fill prescriptions, interrogated us about why we needed them, ran out of stock, couldn't follow doctors orders about types of medication and once refused to provide painkillers then mistakenly gave me twice as many as the doctor ordered. Avoid at all costs!

As a female of colour, I am absolutely disgusted and shocked with my most recent experience at this shoppers drug mart. I shop at this location about 1-2 times per week. I live in the area so it’s most convenient for me to shop at this location. Unfortunately i feel as if I should take my business else where after how i was treated. The new staff has clearly not been properly trained. Just last week I went in did my usual shop around, after i was done gathering my items I proceeded to self check out at at the entrance that connects to the rest of hillside mall. I placed all my items on the bagging counter, but before i began scanning.... I stopped to check my nap sack to see if I had remembered to bring my bank card with me. As I was looking through my bag, a young dark haired female worker came charging around the corner almost making a scene given her actions to the assumed, improperly analyzed situation. I looked up at her took my hands out of my nap sack with a 20$ bill, optimum card, and car keys in hand. I paused and stared at her in confusion as she awkwardly stood there staring at me, then walked backwards into an aisle. I decided to follow her into that aisle. She was there talking to a red headed girl that also worked there, as soon as they both saw me in the aisle they stared at me then put their heads down, and went silent. I smirked and made sure my entire inside of my bag was visible. Got the the front end of the store to the female cashier that wears glasses with a very unique name....I’ve delt with her many times in the past always friendly and makes eye contact. This time around all i saw was shame written on her face. I couldnt help but to have a snotty unpleased attitude given how unprofessional the situation was handled. I understand the extra caution given I was there a few days ago returning an item and a lady walked out with a item she had not paid for and began running when asked to come back inside the store. However with my years of experience working in retail/customer service this wasn’t appropriately analyzed and unsafely done. I an innocent customer was made to feel uncomfortable and embarrassed. As for the girls they are lucky they displayed this situation on me and not on someone who could of been dangerous and actually stealing. I hope the manager Peter see’s this and corrects and teaches the importance of discretion.

The staff in general at this location are always really pleasant and nice to deal with, but this review is specifically for the pharmacy staff. They have been wonderful! Between issues with a terrible family doctor and Covid...it’s been hard for my husband to get a prescription for his asthma inhalers. The pharmacy here has gone above and beyond to ensure he has a rescue inhaler at all times. They obviously have to stick within regulations...but they do everything they can to make this easier for us. Even to the point where they called us 8 minutes before they closed to see if we needed to pick up a new inhaler and I’m sure if we said yes they would have made it happen! Considering asthma is a very serious thing, I can’t explain how much I appreciate them taking care of my husband!

I have never before felt so unsafe talking to a pharmacist as I did here. He treated me like I was not even a person. The absolute worst part is that is that the management did not even respond to my complaint. The girls that were working all expressed their sympathy for me as it was obvious they thought the pharmacist was awful also but could not do anything about it. Go somewhere else. Anywhere else. I hardly ever write reviews, but I am very frustrated with the process to get the flu shot at this location, which was not only a waste of time, but goes against COVID prevention guidelines. I arrived at this location at 12:30pm was advised that the 12pm timeslot was at capacity and was asked to leave and come back at 10mins to 1pm. I left the premise to ensure social distancing, but when I came back at the time advised by the pharmacist the line up was 20 people long. Seeing that I was on my lunch hour I left, had I not been asked to leave I would have been able to get my flu shot. Now I am forced to return at an alternate time, risking getting exposed for a second time for no reason other than poor processes.

Went to the pharmacy with my wife to ask if they can fill out just 2 of the 7 medications that my pregnant wife needed because the medication was expensive- they declined and made us pay the FULL prescription even though they don't have enough stocks. The next day, we asked if we can cancel our preordered medications as it was cancelled by our doctor. They refused to give us refund and would not release the medications! This is a rip-off!!! It's very unfair not to have the medications refunded when you haven't even released it yet! Their customer service is not good neither, I found my wife being screamed at by one of their staffs. I wish I've seen the reviews here first before going to this pharmacy. It was a terrible and unnecessarily expensive experience!

Find yourself any other pharmacy in town. Save yourself the grief. Service is poor on all levels. Came in yesterday, prescription wasn't ready. Said it would be ready in two hours, came back the next day and still wasn't ready... This after waiting 20+ minutes in line. And it appears there was another gentleman who had a similar experience and now as I type this, another customer's script isn't ready... No contrition on their part whatsoever. Their slogan is "Everything you expect from a pharmacy... And much more". Well I expected my script to be ready when they said it would and it wasn't and I get the impression I am not alone in this experience today... I don't think that's an unfair expectation of a pharmacy... Is it??? One star is too generous.

Just had a great experience at this location, after the most frustrating time trying to register for a second shot of the Covid vaccine on the Halton website. Was met by Marie de Rango, who was very understanding, offered to put me on a wait list and called me a few hours later to say she could fit me in. Back at the store, the staff was courteous and efficient and though there were a fair number of people milling around, Marie was there again, along with Fabio, to shepherd everyone into the right line and expedite the process of filling out the form and finally receiving the vaccine. So yes, I was much impressed by and grateful for the treatment I received. And somehow I feel that this respect for clients demonstrated by Fabio and Marie de Rango would inform the working of the pharmacy in general, so I wouldn’t hesitate to re-visit this particular location over any other, should the need arise.

The Pharmacy Staff are friendly and knowledgeable and answer any questions and provide their professional advice. They have reasonable pricing for all their inventory as well as weekly specials and once a month they have Seniors Day for discounts. Can't find what you're looking for? Simply ask a staff member who are more than willing to assist you.

Didn't have a single sales tag out. When I asked a staff member about it she said Shoppers never had sales on Fridays. When I showed her the eflyer she insisted that wasn't a sale and were just special prices for "redemption day" and werent to be tagged. My sons med changed and they missed it. Had to go down and they found his script. A month later i notice there is no script left of his other meds. They renewed his one but canceled his other. Now another trip down to get it figured out. Same thing happens every month with my 4 scripts on auto renew. One is always forgotten and an extra trip across town to get it. Ive asked no less than 5 times to fix it. There is a rexall across the street that I'm willing to bet wont screw up as much. My time is just as valuable as anyone elses.

My fiancé called regarding a covid test and had a few questions as he’s rightfully very concerned, and he was basically rushed off the phone within 30 seconds of speaking to a woman who treated him like a child.
