I'm not sure how many years ago this was, I've had multiple surgerys on my right knee. But my Doctors office is next door and I arrived early. So I went into the drugstore and looked up and down each isle. I had crutches and a Zimmer knee brace, overalls with no pockets and a long sleeved tee shirt on. I brought a cloth bag to hang around my neck for purchases. I don't know if was an employee in regular clothes or store security but they kept following me up and down. Finally I turned around and blew them a kiss with my hand. The middle finger is passé, nobody expects a kiss! I bought a Coke and three bottles of nailpolish.

If you are an individual with a mobility disability who is unable to use stairs - dont even bother going to this location. The only entrance of the pharmacy located on Metcalf St. requires you to use a lift platform in which you must ring a doorbell the front desk to have a staff member unlock the lift. The doorbell rarely works so staff can't assist you, and staff dont know how to use the lift platform. A quick medication pick up turns into a 20 minute nightmare. So disapointed by Rexall!

Review is for the post office. Staff member Daniel outright lied about the service I was getting and sent a gift to Ireland via surface rather than air. As a result, the package will be taking 1-2 months to arrive at it's final destination. I was explicitly clear in saying that I wanted air mail and was willing to pay for it. The manager was very responsive to my criticism, hence the two stars not one star. Post office users beware!

Bad customer service, especially from the pharmacist working on night shift 12/20/18. I asked for advise and instead of helping me, it looked like I was botbering her and just pointed to pick whatever was on the shelf. I asked becuase I had question, finding the shelf is easy. The only one that goes above and beyond in that store is postoffice lady.

In my experience, this location is not staffed well. Often a cashier will be on a break or having to juggle multiple tasks and you have to wait for them. The post office lady was helpful on one occasion but on another she said she was going on break and I would have to wait a while if I didn’t hurry up with my package. I understand this isn’t their fault but I feel like something needs to be adjusted with employee overlap to allow breaks to not affect the customer experience.

Rexall carries all the regular fixings of a drugstore but I would absolutely steer clear of this location unless I was in a real pinch for time. Everything here is probably marked up at least 10% higher than any other drugstore in the area and the markup is neither justified by better customer service or more convenient (late night) hours. I've now had two frustrating experiences at this pharmacy, the first being when I tried to get a vaccine for my daughter that was not covered by insurance and found out that Rexall was charging 3x the price of Costco and 2x the price of Shoppers. I get that pricing models are different in different stores but when you're talking about multiple folds more expensive, it's highway robbery. The second time, my doctor sent through a prescription to this pharmacy and they kept saying they had not received it. When we tried to call in to ask for a status, they basically brushed us off and asked that we not call as they would call me when they did get it. To nobody's surprise they did not call back when they eventually did manage to sort out whatever system glitch caused the delay. I get that COVID probably has everyone stressed out and overworked, but this place definitely gives you the vibe that you're an unwelcome burden and they're doing you a massive favor by servicing you.

I had a bad experience at the Pharmacy, they scheduled me for a COVID shot, I got there in time only to hear I would have to wait till another week because the I was rescheduled, they didn't email or message or call about the rescheduling. All I needed to do was go to the shoppers down the road, I got my COVID shot there on the same day and they were very professional. Rexall needs to do better.

Received my flu shot this evening and had a very pleasant experience with Sandy, the Pharmacist. The shot itself was painless and quick. My partner, while agreed with the prior statement, is a bit of a wimp when it comes to shots and became very faint following it. Sandy took excellent care of him and made him feel much better. An added bonus, Sandy took the time to call us later in the evening to check up on us and make sure Connor was okay. Very happy with Sandy and the service at Rexall - I will be back for the next flu shot (hopefully one for Corona Virus)!

The actual Rexall drug store is quite nice, or at least the pharmacy part of it. The Post Canada inside however is way understaffed, the line is very long and it takes way too long to pick-up a package.

Worst location ever i walked in twice first time told me wait for one hour for vaccine there were only 2 customers there , second time they said we have no walk in if you don’t then write on your website you do not accept walk in .! I have asked to transfer a prescription from another Rexal location, they told me they will send the request and call me back the same day but they never called back or pick up the phone. Two weeks later, I went there they said the prescription is ready and asked me to pay for it despite the it's for my son and I don't have any private insurance and they told me the government is rejecting to pay but the issue is with them because they don't know how to bill it.

The pharmacy attendants are not very nice or helpful. The one lady interrupts whenever I speak and is very rude when I try to explain my situation. They always seem to have problems finding my insurance and when I call my insurance providers it is always a problem on the pharmacy's end and how they are inputting my information. This has happened more than once. Often they have problems faxing my doctor and my dr doesnt recieve the fax, which I've never had problems with before with other pharmacies either. I have delt with many pharmacies over the years and this is by far the worst one I have ever been to. I wish they were more organized and had better customer service. I would not recommend this pharmacy to anyone who has to pick up prescriptions often.

Absolutely garbage service. They put the wrong labels on for products and charge you more. They have no morals for customer service and are hesistant to help. They were scanning out their fellow workers at closing time and when a return was to be made they said that "the till is closed". Management needs to be changed.

If you want Medicine to go to another Pharmacy it will be better than rexel. Rexel they threw your medication on the counter.

Well stocked and clean store. Staff are friendly and get customers through the line pretty quick. I don’t use the pharmacy here so I can’t comment on that. Prices at all Rexalls are comparable to Shoppers, some items a bit higher, some a bit lower. Very convenient location just across from the Farm Boy

My review is based only on my experience at the pharmacy. A few months ago, I moved within a two minute walk of this rexall, so I switched pharmacies (my old one was a 30 minute walk). That lasted two months. In the two visits I made to this pharmacy, the first: - My medication brand was switched without warning, they just filled the prescription - I was then charged way more - I paid for a medication on back order but then a month later one of the the pharmacists claimed I had never paid nor asked for that medication. I was told it was on indefinite back order and then the next day the app told me it had been filled. On the second visit: - I explained the brand/price confusion I had experienced the previous visit, I was told the expensive brand was still the only one available. I asked the pharmacist to put the medication aside. - After I paid he told me that there was a voucher so I wouldn’t paid anything additional. - I asked for the medication and he said no, because people were on hold on the phone, so I should come back “some other time” for a filled prescription within eyesight. Incredibly frustrating, I’d rather walk the 30 minutes to my independent pharmacy.
