Just like a lot of people I go to shoppers drug mart for prescriptions as they also lure you in with other products. I was fortunate to have had one of poorer experiences with them and decided to come to Meadowvale Pharmacy to fill my mom’s presription. Patrick, the owner and pharmacist helped me and sensed that I was anxious to get the meds filled for my mother. Even if I had never been there before, he was patient and took all the necessary information and even introduced himself to me. If only all pharmacies gave this personal touch. I will be coming here for everything and urge everyone to support their local smaller pharmacies.

Patrick and his staff are super friendly and helpful. This is our local pharmacy and choose it over any other large pharmacy. Quick turnaround on prescriptions vs over an hr wait at shoppers across the street. My doc is next doc, they send the prescriptions over and it’s received in no time ! Totally recommend.

I called in to inquire about a 2nd dose covid vaccine. I was put on hold for 15 minutes and just hung up on. I called back again and someone picked up and hung up on me. I wouldn't have minded the wait, or even an explanation regarding the wait time. It was the fact they hung up on me twice and were laughing and being unprofessional when they picked up the phone.

We never tire of the amazing knowledge and customer service from Patrick and Kim. They are always willing to assist you anyway and anytime they can. Patrick has given us many of our vaccination shots while Kim was quick to send me out my meds that another province ran out of. Whenever we are in town we always stop by for a chat and usual refills. Thank you both so much!

So glad my husband and I switched to this place from the Shoppers near by. When I want to pick up a prescription on file, they answer the phone right away and have it ready when I arrive a few minutes later. Extremely little waiting when I bring a new prescription in. When I recently had a question about a side effect of a medication they filled my prescription for, they answered the phone right away and had the answers I needed. Knowledgable pharmacists, great customer service. When Shoppers Drug Mart was my pharmacy their wait times were a nightmare, customer service was terrible (would run out of my medication constantly and not tell me until I arrived to pick it up), and you could never get ahold of them for anything. Very happy to find somewhere else that actually takes care of their customers!
