I would give this place -5 if I could. I am a type 1 diabetic. I called my pharmacy to refill one of my insulins and they said it would take a busines day because I'm out of refills. No problem. I go in a that night and they tell me healthworx doesn't let pharmacies call in refills. OK so I'll call tomorrow morning. I do that and it turns out I can't do it on the phone either. I need to book an appointment for a refill on medication I'll be taking the rest of my life. Insanity. I have never had to do this until I had no choice but to switch to healthworx. I'm originally from Ontario. This is absolutely asinine and insane. Money grabbing policies take president over health care. It's a good thing insulin is schedule 2. Which means the pharmacist herself can essentially do a quick refill. Healthworx would rather hold my insulin over my head to get me to do what they want instead of being decent health care professionals. STAY AWAY.

The only issue I have with this centre is that it's difficult to get through by telephone although I do understand that they are busy. Dr Jonker is a great doctor. His nurse Courtney, looks after me very well. I appreciate what they do.

This is the worst medical centre I have ever dealt with. I have numerous complaints about the business operations, staff and my current doctor. First, back in March I had seen my doctor regarding a referral to a specialist. After five months of not hearing anything I had called to see what was going on, no one knew so they had to get back to me and when they did I was informed that the fax machine had gone down and they were unsure if it had sent. I still don't have an appointment with the specialist! Second, I had scheduled my yearly medical which needed to be done three months in advance because the doctor was so booked and could only do 1 ladies medical a day. As the time came closer they had called me and told me that my doctor would be on holidays and they would have to reschedule. The soonest they could reschedule was over a month and a half away. Frustrated, I took the appointment. Once the time came closer they had called and cancelled the appointment again due to the doctor being sick. They then wanted to rebook me another month later which I was working. The next available appointment wasn't till almost 2 months away! Because there's two parts to my medical I was able to break up the portions so that I could get it done within that month. Needless to say I'm not impressed. The third and final, I had called because I needed a couple prescriptions refilled and with my work schedule it was hard for me to get in on regular business hours. When I had asked to book an appointment my doctors was on holidays so it would be a few weeks. My prescription could be filled by a doctor at their walk-in. On Thursday I had called and was informed that the walking would be open Saturday between 9 and 12. I Arrived at the walk-in at 11:30 to see the doors were locked and no one was there! Apparently they close early if no one comes. I didn't realized this or I would have been there at 9am!

My Dr is absolutely the best, unfortunately the staff at the front desk when you first walk in are absolutely rude, agregious and miserable. I wonder how they even got hired in the first place. Take a class on etiquette and customer relations already. Love my doc tho.

In addition to great “bedside manners”, HealthWORX consists of a group of very well trained and knowledgeable doctors and support staff. I have been seen by three others when my own was unavailable. All of them have been very conscientious and thorough while diagnosing my medical issues.

I could not say more positive things about this clinic. My doctor (one of their newest on staff) doctor Classen. Is the kindest, most knowledgeable, most caring person / doctor I have ever met. He really cares about you and goes above and beyond to make sure you are taken care of. I've seen reviews about the receptionists. I have not had negative experiences with any of them. Though I tend to always go to the same one with short blonde hair cause she is very kind and I really like her. But I cannot find any faults here. They get me in fast I never have to wait long. But for the treatment my doctor gives me I would wait if I had to. I am very blessed to have doctor Classen as my family doctor. I have never seen a better doctor in my life.

I’ve been with Health Worx for years and have never had any problems. If you can’t see your doctor your file is with the clinic so any of the other doctors can help you. Walk-in is for clinic patients only so that makes wait times shorter than a large public walk-in. The staff are very professional.

I mean i gave 5 star because the receptionists we dealt with were okay and never had an issue. My family doctor is Dr. Jani W and she is one of the few docs i met in Canada knows what they are doing. And thats the reason why the 5 star.She is knowledgeable, friendly and she remembers all about you and her people skills are fantastic. Had a trouble with the nurse there as she rescheduled my appointment for another day because i was late for 3 minutes in the winter driving conditions when I came to see her from work taking a vacation ....and have waited for hours for my scheduled appointment day to see the doc without complaining..

After waiting nearly 2months to be accepted followed by a 2 week wait for an appointment my wife was called the morning off to cancel and reschedule. The earliest appointment was a further 12 days away. Needless to say 3 months later and we are looking for a new doctor without having ever gotten in to see a doctor! To top this off the receptionist we dealt with was extremely rude and made every interaction we had we her feel like we were nothing but an inconvenience. Do not recommend (but never got to actually see a doctor so cannot comment on them)

Dr. Monty is easily the best doctor I've ever had. Courteous, professional, and very helpful. Family physician wouldn't refer me for lipoma removal, switched to Dr. Monty and he got me a referral within a week. Out of pocket would have cost almost a grand for a 10 minute procedure, get yourself a South African doctor!

Seem to be always late answering phones and are never on time with your schedualled appointment. Never mind that the openning time on the phone recording is 30 minutes different than the web site. Lets get it together folks we have to be on time and professional lets return the courtesy.

What a joke of a clinic. 6 weeks to get in to see Dr. Groebler and one week before the date he cancels my appointment. Needless to say, I have to wait even longer now to see him as I could not fit into my schedule the alternative dates they gave me. Screw this place I'm going elsewhere.

I like and feel that I have a good rapport with my Dr at this clinic (Dr Osborne). However, I rarely get to see him, as he is always booked several weeks and often months out. I am told I can book with a locum Dr or go to the walk-in clinic. Either way, I am dealing with someone that I don’t know and who doesn’t know me. I feel I need to start at the beginning and explain my situation every time I go there. This does not promote the continuity of care that I, as a patient, need and deserve. I am very disappointed in this clinic.

Doctors are nice and I’ve been coming here for as long as I remember. Never had an issue with reception. Walk in times are a little ridiculous and I wish they would fax prescription refills to the pharmacy. Been taking the same meds for years and they always tell me they can’t so I have to come in and sit for a couple hours for a 5 minute appointment.

I like my family doctor, Dr. Grobler. He listens to my concerns carefully and I feel comfortable talking to him. But I find the clinic receptionist to be always rude, unsympathetic and uncaring. If I want to see my family doctor I have to wait for two or more weeks. It is very hard to see my own doctor even if it’s an emergency situation. I recently had a knee replacement surgery. I had a bad time with pain meds given to me at the hospital, hence, I had to stay extra day. Two days after my return from hospital I was still battling with my pain meds. I called the clinic to make an appointment to see my doctor. I explained my situation to them and told them I was in a bad way. I was told earliest I could see him was in two weeks but I could come to walk-in and wait to see another available doctor. I ask if I could see him next day. Answer was No. I told them i was in excruciating pain and would feel more comfortable seeing my own doctor. I asked them if they can give him a message to call me. The answer was No. finally my husband took the phone and asked them to give the message to Dr. Grobler. They said ok but I have yet to hear from him. Did he get my message or not I will never know! I feel this is very poor way to deal with the patients who are under distress. I strongly feel I should be able to see my own doctor to discuss my health issues.

Our family doctor is at this clinic. First off, it is a several WEEKS wait to get in to see our family doctor. Second, this clinic tries to juggle walk-in patients with those that have appointments so they are never, ever on schedule and are always behind. After waiting nearly an hour past my scheduled appointment the kther day, I had to leave to get my daughter to school without seeing my doctor for a health concern I've had. That was the final straw and we are seeking a new family doctor at a new clinic. This clinic needs to get their **** together and either set times where only patients with a family doctor will be seen and walk-ins arent taken and vice versa or walk-ins only on certain days. Healthworx is quite the oxymoron for this clinic, because it doesn't.
