Went for gua sha massage a couple months ago. The therapist didn’t use any oil at all so the scraping was quite painful, my skin was broken and bleeding when I left. Unfortunately these marks left scars and permanent skin discolouration on my back and around my shoulder blades. The lights in the room room were very bright during my massage, which made it difficult to relax. The white/grey interior of the facility makes it feel very unwelcoming and hospital-like.

Ive had alot of massages and needed a last minute one. East meets West had an opening so I appreciated that. I got Amanda. I felt like she was very methodical in her approach. She searched, found, and eliminated the knots i knew about, and even more that i didn't know about. Definitely a massage I appreciated and look forward to again. Would highly recommend East meets West (apparently changing to 608 Health) but particularly hit up Amanda for a meticulous massage.

I had been suffering for years on and off with sciatic nerve pain.I spoke to Dr. Hironaka and he set me up with acupuncture. I cannot believe the results I was floored. I have been pain free since. I do follow the pressure point practice that they gave me as well s stretches. I believe that this clinic truly cares about their patients and fully recommend them.

I could not have imagined a place so welcoming and helpful in every aspect of health. So Forward in thinking with wholistic health and coordinating charts. Huge shout out for there concern and focus in womens health and the amount of female practitioners. Liked and valued East Meets West love and appreciate Six08. I have had three encounters with East Meets West and each one has been unpleasant. I believe in giving places a couple of chances in case there are just off days. My first encounter was on my birthday, I had a one hour massage booked, which started fifteen minutes late because their computer systems did not let them know that their appointments had arrived. I finally get in after waiting, they were very unapologetic and said " I will just be charging you for a 45 min massage." Which in my mind I thought, "great, I will be charged for 45 min but receive an hour massage."....NOPE! Just gave me a 45 minute massage instead of the hour massage I had booked, and it was their fault it was late! They made it seem as if they were doing me some great favor!That being said, the massage itself was great. Thus my reasoning in giving them another chance, I booked another one about a month in advance only to have it cancelled 30 mins before my appointment! So annoying after waiting for the specific appointment and time, as I have a baby at home who I need to plan child care for. The masseuse, Sara Gillis, who cancelled, then called me to try and set up another appointment, which was great on their part. So new date was set and I just received another call that it was again cancelled with very short notice!!! Now if it had been me cancelling, I would have probably been charged a cancellation fee both times!! I am outraged and cannot believe they run a business like this. All three occasions the front desk was not apologetic or helpful! I will not be recommending this place to anyone I know. I am extremely disappointed in the professionalism of this establishment. Go spend your money elsewhere!!! ADDED: I have since been contacted by the company, they apologized for my upset and offered a free service. Although it does not un-do the past, it does go to show that they listen to feedback and want to improve. I am still up in the air as to if I will continue to get massages from here, but I am grateful that they reached out and tried to make the situation better.

Both of my experiences at this clinic have been amazing! This clinic is very polished with helpful, friendly and courteous staff. On my first visit I saw Shareen Monaghan for laser therapy and she was very knowledgeable and had an excellent bed side manner. My second visit was with Dr. Trevor McArthur for Chiropractic therapy and he was absolutely amazing. This physician was very knowledgeable about chiropractic care, and had an amazing bed side manner as well. I would highly recommend this clinic as I have had two very positive experiences!!!!

I’m so satisfied with the shockwave treatment that I received at 608 Health. This treatment is very under-utilized. I had chronic soreness in my neck shoulders and back. I’ve used massage, physio, acupuncture, and Prolo. These all were good treatments but the scar tissue in the muscle could never be resolved. I was scared of shockwave but I had to try it. So grateful I did. It’s the treatment I needed years ago. They should call it knot buster not shockwave. If you have any areas with acute or chronic pain give it a try.

Wow.. I never had the experience that Kaleen wrote about! Between carpal tunnel and arthritis sometimes it's an all day ache. After I have acupuncture with Sean, I literally float out of the office. In the beginning I had thought that even if it didn't help with the aches it certainly helped me destress, but after a few treatments it is like I have no carpal tunnel at all. It IS expensive but I go when I can.

I had the unique experience of a combo treatment (Acupuncture + Massage) in the same session. While I have had plenty of massages prior to this time, this was my first time with acupuncture, and the combo experience was great. I felt that Sean was thorough and listened to what I needed. Treatment was appropriately tailored and after a few sessions I have seen progress to an issue that has been with me for years.

Was patronized and told my "symptoms didn't make sense." An acupuncturist and a massage therapist stood over me while I lay on my front (in a state of undress) and snickered before discussing my treatment with me. Super unprofessional. They lock you into a package of several treatments with no option for refund. These guys are in it for the money. Went to a different acupuncturist and had amazing results. I highly recommend acupuncture, just not through East Meets West.

Be prepared for a sales pitch. They will push every procedure/produce they can to maximize their profit. Went for treatments to help with muscle knots, had 3 different people in 3 treatments. 2 of 3 treatments were good, but was pitched to get other treatments. 3rd treatment was waste of time and again was pushed to get other procedure. Also very expensive.

I've used East Meets West for a few years now both for acupuncture and massage. Not only is their service incredible but their methods work! They have helped me with my chronic migraines and Fibromyalgia. After following the treatment plan I always feel 10x better!! I've also had my staff use these services too! I visit Six08 regularly for massage and some physio. Amanda is an exceptionally talented RMT. Easily one of the best that I have ever seen. Always listens, very considerate of why you are there and gives a fantastic strong treatment. You can tell she really cares about her patients and her job. Taylor is a great Physiotherapist and has been very helpful with my painful fasciitis. Additionally, I was very thankful she referred me to someone who could help me with something which was outside of her scope. Many other PTs would have treated the wrong thing and wasted time and money.

Quite disappointed however that now that i am able to resume treatments (lost my insurance for a short year or so) i have to pay the newcomer fee again. Seems like a real money grab for someone that has rendered them alot of clientele. Shame shame.

Very Disappointed to find out the Massage Therapists are NOT all vaccinated. This info was not shared with me when I booked and received my massage. This is poor leadership from a Medical Facility - IMO. Before you book - ask if your therapist is vaccinated!

Every service I have used is perfect except for the Dysport aesthetic by Jamie- I was quoted $200 and after the treatment she charged $300! In my opinion it’s a waste of money! Jamie does not work with integrity…very disappointed which is a shame as it reflects badly on the entire business even though all other services I have used are awesome! 5 stars for them.
