You have all the opinions of people who bought the services of Bigelow Fowler Clinic South (Pharmacy) in the territory close to Lethbridge (Canada).
At this moment this firm receives a score of 2.9 out of 5 and that rating has been calculated on 45 reviews.
You must have seen that the average of ratings is discreet, neither too high nor too low, and it's based on a very large number of feddbacks, so we can think that the assessment is quite accurate. If people have bothered to evaluate when they've done well with the service, it works.
As you know, we do not usually bother to place opinions when they are correct and we usually do it only if we have had a problem or issue...
This Pharmacy belongs to the category of Medical clinic.
"Share details about your own experience at this place." Well, that's just it: my initial reaction is that I'll never go back, but I never really got anything done. If your elevator is broken and has been for quite some time, a website note would be appreciated. Some of us are disabled and can't exactly walk down stairs - not without hurting ourselves anyway. I sincerely apologize if I came off as rude from panicking; I'm a healthcare worker too and I try to be respectful, but would I have been told to roll down the stairs if I had been in my wheelchair? And with lab appointments having to be booked so far in advance, it's not something I could have predicted, especially as this was my first time trying to get blood work done in Lethbridge. I'm sure the people are nice, but I didn't get that experience. Overall, I'm not really impressed, but it seems to fit the rest of Lethbridge as far as inaccessibility goes. This city is horrible for it.
I think these ladies that work taking our calls and booking our appointments are good people, so be kind ♥️
Been going here for check ups and prescriptions for most of my life, but evening clinic is the worst
The receptionists at this clinic are ignorant in person and on the phone. If you suck at customer service get a new job!
Went there for testing. Lab tech didn't know what I was being tested for, but dealt with it so well. All staff in the lab are so nice!
Had an appointment today and had the absolute worst customer service, they are usually pretty rude, but today it was the worst I had ever seen. Simply asked to make a follow up appointment at reception, yet received eye rolls and attitude. I am super friendly and polite every time, I don’t understand why they are so unfriendly and foul. It is your job to be a receptionist, if you don’t like it why are you working there? Get a new job or retire!
This gentleman has been my Dr for close to a decade Now. He has proven to be knowledgeable as well personable. We need these caring professionals these days More than ever. Thanks again Doc. Sincerely , Ron.
Terrible service. Awful wait times.
Awesome Friendly reseption staff. I love how easy they made it for me to get a new family doctor.
Awful experiences there, would recommend to no one
Lab was okay. No problems there. It was pretty straightforward.
Moved to Alberta in 2013. Had issues finding a doctor in multiple clinics. But at this clinic they were kind to me and I got a physician. You do not know what bad customer service is until you have dealt with Quebec's medical service and staff. You complain about wait times. How about 3 to 5 months just to see your doctor. When you wait 2 hours in the waiting room and you have an appointment. Top it off the receptionists forget to tell your doctor you are there for your appointment or better yet, rude remarks to the other colleagues about you. Now if you feel you are not well served here from awesome, friendly, smiling, and caring staff at Bigelow Fowler South, then I think you should go to Quebec for 6 months and then see how good customer service is here, compared to there!
The lab techs are great (and fast!), Dr. Karpakis is a dream, compassionate, very knowledgeable and always willing to take the time to find an answer, as are nurses Amy and Vanessa. I had some weird interactions with reception at first but these have improved 100% after I brought it up with staff.
Worst service i have ever had im shaking because of my anxiety. Get told to calm down over the phone when im already having an axiety attack (last thing yoy should do to someone who is having anxiety problems) to then get told they have never givin me that medication before then how the hell do i have a bottle with my name and prescription on it.
Has its own lab.
In the two years I have been going to this clinic I have yet to have a positive interaction with calling reception. I am at the point now where I am writing a review as this is completely unacceptable. Reception is incredibly ignorant to callers with little to no patience making it very anxiety provoking every time you have to call in again for something, knowing you are going to have to deal with very short tempered, unempathetic listeners. This needs to change.
My wife was told our appointment was at 930 she shows up at 925 with our two daughters to be sent home by the receptionist says her appointment was at 9a.m. which is hard to believe considering we wrote it down as she told us. Normally we have to wait 30 minutes anyways to get in. The lack of consideration at this clinic is appalling. Waisted tax dollars if u ask the majority of people who attend this clinic. Thanks for leaving us high and dry!!
Been there a couple of times and have never had such rude customer service - not even from grumpy people working fast food. I work as an administrative assistant; I know what customer service is. The receptionists there need a refresher course in manners.
Unbelievable service! This was my first visit to the clinic and I was absolutely blown away at how kind everyone at the clinic was. The receptionist was polite and professional as she checked me in and the nurse was friendly and even helped entertain my son. My doctor was thorough and didn’t just rush me through even though I was the last patient of the night for the walk in clinic. The clinic was also exceptionally clean. I would suggest if you do need to see a doctor for the walk in clinic to come as soon as it opens. It filled up fast.
All the staff have been very friendly and professional. Dr Stocks is a great doctor and we are both happy with our treatment at this clinic.
I have been a patient at the Haig Clinic for thirty years and never have I had a negative experience with them. Very disappointed how the receptionist handled my call today.
The reception staff are the weakest link at this clinic.
Absolutely disgraceful staff, incredibly rude on MULTIPLE occasions. Watched a nurse belittle someone who barely could speak English because they were 5 minutes late, and the waiting room was empty. Staff needs to learn how to deal with their childish mentality. effectively makes this place appear operated by a bunch of toddlers.
I came to get lab work done during my pregnancy and was treated well until the lab tech realized that I was under the care of midwives. She then proceeded to talk about how she didn't trust midwives and shamed me for declining a test that I had already informed my doctor and midwives I would not be taking. I was pregnant with my third child and this was my second time under the care of midwives so this disrespect did not deter me, but had I been a first time mother I may have felt fear and discomfort instead of irritation. I was incredibly disappointed with this unprofessional attitude towards medically trained professionals who are licensed and regulated and funded in Alberta. Clearly there is some education needed here in Lethbridge, as I had my previous midwifery care in Edmonton and there my choices were fully respected by all medical professionals that I encountered.
Love Bigelow Fowler! So clean and fresh inside and never have had a issue with the staff! My doctor is amazing and kind. Best clinic I have been to in a long time! Glad I made the switch!
First off to all the people that have written in here and complained about the reception staff... grow up. So many people want others to make them feel special and pamper them... ridiculous. I have been going to that clinic for a few years now and I show up prepared, ready for my appointment, and educated on who I'm seeing and what the parameters are and those lovely ladies at the front are amazing. They are well beyond equipped to handle their day to day. I approach them as an adult, cognisant and responsible for my own stuff. They don't need to figure out your life... you do. I just wanted lift up those ladies who deal with people all day and say they are doing a great job. I'm going to keep showing up so keep being you!
Like other reviewers the front staff are not only rude but I showed up for an appointment and there was a miscommunication in the time. Of course it was 100% all my fault. Then when I have talked to 3 other people they have all had the same experience. This is nothing against the Medical Staff there. I followed my doctor of 14-15 years to this location. After this experience, it’s time to look for someone new.
The rude and condescending way I’ve been treated at this clinic by receptionists, lab techs, nurses and even my doctor of many years, the past few months has caused me to leave this clinic. I also have watched several very rude interactions between nurses and clients in the waiting room. I felt terrible for the patients as they were being embarrassed loudly and treated like children in front of other waiting patients. When I had brought these concerns up I was reprimanded by my doctor and reduced to tears. I would NEVER “get away” with treating my patients this way.
Love be my doctor but the receptionists are not helpful in the least bit and are rude to top it off.
The reception staff at the front desk make the simple process of checking in about as unpleasant as possible. These crabby, pretentious 'ladies' should just retire already.
Doctors are good. Receptionists are extremely rude. Do not have any concept of what customer service is or how to talk to people on the phone. Don't know how these people got their jobs.
Very Friendly and helped me a lot.
My family doctor is absolutely amazing. Unfortunately she moved to this clinic and I cringe anytime I have to book an appointment. The previous clinic she was at was fantastic, welcoming and had very friendly staff at the front. They even allowed you to schedule a few extra minutes for your appointment, whereas Bigelow does not allow this. The ladies at the front at Bigelow are extremely rude and if you dare speak up to them, they become quite aggravated with you. I recently had knee surgery (two weeks ago) and required stronger muscle relaxants. I contacted the clinic over two separate days asking to book a PHONE appointment. My family doc's earliest phone appointment was in October! I said that's not going to work, that I was two weeks post op and required something sooner. They basically just told me "tough luck" and to go to a walk-in. I literally cannot leave the house right now... I just had major knee surgery. It's absolutely ridiculous that they don't offer same day appointments or alternative options if the doctor's are booked up. You can't even get through to the doctor's nurse to speak with them as you're told you must book an appointment. I am not going to the emergency room or a walk-in clinic for a stronger muscle relaxant. I even tried Telus Babylon but they were unable to prescribe anything for more than 7 days.
Every single staff member from reception, to nurses, to the doctor, was welcoming and kind. This office understands how to make patients feel at ease.
I love my doctor but the 3 receptionist are not very friendly or helpful. Miss the receptionist and nurses at Lethbridge Medical Clinic.
