The service in the pharmacy is disgusting to say the least. Missed refills, long wait times, going back to find prescriptions are still not ready. My neighbour recommended the Wallace st pharmacy- under wallace pharmacy- they are efficient and have free delivery to chase river so i do not need to drive into town. A breath of fresh air! I strongly suggest anyone not happy switch over to them!

Don't plan on coming here without a phone call to see if they're open. Waited outside in the cold for ten minutes and then was told that even though it's ten after nine, they won't open if the pharmacist isn't in, and she lives in Toronto.

I highly reccomend this Rexall location - best place to get prescriptions. The pharamcy staff are incredily friendly, kind and supportive. The Rexall app is VERY handy for submitting and tracking prescriptions. There have been times where I submit a prescription and it's ready for pick up after my 20 minute drive to town. It's easy to schedule a time you'd like them to be ready for, easy to renew prescriptions, and maintains a list of your prescriptions (very handy to take to doctor's appointments). So far two of my family members have switched to this pharmacy and have been very impressed with their service!

Literally the worst customer service experience in my life. The employees are nice, but the pharmacist is probably one of the worst people I've ever come across. I never even write revews and I have to say something about it. Not sure if it's in her nature to scam people and talk down to people, but I'm under 25 and know most medication is covered by OHIP for me as I haven't paid for meds in a while. I bring my prescription to this pharmacy for the first time and she tries to make me pay for it and talked down to me + made me feel stupid for even suggesting it was supposed to be free. Took it to shoppers like 20 minutes later and *shocker* it was free...I don't know if she does this to older or gullible people, but please keep in mind certain age groups get coverage and just take your prescriptions ANYWHERE ELSE

I have been using this pharmacy since 2008 and haven't used another one since. The staff is very friendly and informative along with Bob who will go out of his way to help a patient. There have been times when I was unable to make it to the pharmacy and Bob personally delivered my medications to my home when the delivery service was unavailable. I live all the way out in Kitchener and will happily go out of my way to use this Rexall Location, Aka Canamera Pharmacy. If you ever need a prescription filled, then use this pharmacy!

Im SO tired of going to the rexall on Fridays to catch the weekend sale, only to get there and it's all gone. I'm talking ensure, Why put something on sale and NEVER order enough to even last a couple of hours there is TONS of other flavors, but never butter pecan. Seems petty to some, but when u need it and you hate the other flavors what is a person to do?.. I get my scripts somewhere else, I did go to King St. For my covid vaccine though. I'd give the pharmacy 2 stars because they just ignored me standing at the counter for 10 min..not so much as an hello..Nobody reads this anyway, at least not anyone that will actually do something about it..Store staff! 5⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ All the way!

Get your Flu Shot At REXALL!! We went to get our Flu Shot here. Made an appointment for us three. Arrived...followed the blue lines on the floor. They were ready for us upon arrival. Very nice, quick, easy....perfect. Shoppers Drug Mart was TERRIBLE! Called twice...they ran out even though I was registered for a shot. Did not even bother to phone me and let us know. They ran out of serum/flu shots in 8 mins!!! Then I get stuck on hold for 13 minutes!!! Call REXALL...make appointment...so easy..

Called in at 9:30 am for two prescriptions. 5 hours later, at the regular pick-up time (1 PM) I arrive to pay for and collect my medication. When I got there, the pharmacy had not put together either of my prescriptions, leaving me to wait 20 minutes. After 20 minutes had passed, I walk up to the counter and am prepared to pay. Neither of my prescriptions were done, leaving me to wait another 20 minutes. On top of this, only one of my medications was accounted for during the 40 minute time-period. As a result I need to walk-in a second-time for the other prescription much later today.

I went to purchase a birthday card and noticed there were signs that said they were closed at six due to unforeseen circumstances. The time was 6:15 and the doors were still open. The doors should have been locked, but the attitude I received from the cashier at the front didn’t help either. I asked if the paper was referring to today, and she said in a very rude way, “Yeah? Sorry!” as if I upset her by not knowing the store was closed, yet the doors were open. Pro Tip, if you have to close your store unexpectedly at 6, then lock the doors, at 6. Won’t be returning.

Stop allowing unprepared Etsy sellers to use your post office. Been in line 45 minutes waiting to pickup a package while this lady has been shipping no less than 10 packages. Still waiting for the foreseeable future. Unbelievable waste of my time.

Charges a 12.99 for dispensary fees that will not fully be covered on a good benefit plan (Greenshield). They were unable to direct bill my insurance for one of my husbands prescriptions that was covered no problem at a Shoppers Drugmart in Belleville. Employees were good to deal with, but there are many other options in Picton that you will not experience this inconvenience.

Safeway honestly does not want nor need your pharmacy dollar. My family gets their rx from this Rexall. They remember faces, not sure how...and are the most attentive pharmacy professionals I've seen in some time. I will definitely be giving out Rexall a try myself. They are pure pharmacy. Not sitting next to the meat* aisle. Attentive store staff and modernly trained experts. *no beef with SW or it's pharmacy. It's your company that demands you treat people like numbers, I'm sure. Then again, SW pharmacy makes a whole bunch more money to put up with...the public. Rexall is big. They got lots of local stuff. Shopping places like this are how we keep our money local.

Then the person that waited on me was looking for 6 cases of boost milk in the drawers where they put peoples pills. Ummm don't think you will find 6 cases of milk there buddy. Truly awful. My two friends were almost immediately asked to wait by the door. They were given unacceptable treatment by management and treated as though they were criminals. I absolutely love the staff at Rexall, Southgate location. The front staff are always happy to help. Very happy and positive environment. The Pharmacy staff always go ABOVE & BEYOND for me. Munir the Pharmacy Manager is amazing. I can’t count the amount of times he has taken time out of his day to help me with a question, to help me find a product or just to lend an ear. He’s very good at what he does, and I’m very lucky to have ppl I can trust 100% with my health and medications. Nikole is his Pharmacy Technician and she is also amazing, I can’t forget about Desire she’s an absolute sweetheart.. We always have a good giggle and laughter is the best medicine. Possibly the rudest pharmacist I've ever dealt with. Needed a tax report sent to me. She told me I had to pick it up in person. I explained I now live an hour and a half away. All she did was argue with me and told me to send someone else with my written consent. I asked if I could fax in consent and if she could fax the report to me. She continued to complain about my request yet finally obliged. Ive worked in the medical field for 5+ years. I 100% understand needing consent to release info, however, being reprimanded for not wanting to spend three hours of my day to pick up a two page report is unacceptable. One she received the consent and request for 2015 & 2016 receipts she faxed over only 2016. I called back and explained that I only received one page and that I need the rest. She snapped at me and said "you never asked for 2015." Not only did I verbally ask when originally calling in, but also put it in writing on the fax request & consent. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER. STAY AWAY.

Horrible. Takes at least a day and a half for them to check the fax machine for refill requests. You shouldn’t have to chase after the pharmacy to get your medication. Today was icing on the cake tho. Made a refill request on Friday at 12. Got a text today at 3 that my script was ready for pick up and they closed the store 2 hours early, kicker? My doctor doesn’t work Saturdays so that fax definitely sat there all day. When you can’t pick up your script at 415 on a Saturday there’s a problem. Definitely switching pharmacies.

New to the area and first time coming in, was grabbing some Advil. Walked in and the anti theft system went off. Immediately I was questioned what stores I came from and if I had purchased anything from somewhere else. No,”hello how’re you?” Just interrogation. Worst experience walking into a rexall ever. Don't put your health at risk and avoid this location! To be frank this one star rating isn't true but Google requires you to give a place at least a star before you can post a review! Customer service at this location has seriously gone downhill. Recently it has become non-existent with orders not being filled on time, drugs not being in stock, staff not welcoming customers or even acknowledging when a customer is present, no one is in charge or has the ability to give proper information or make decisions. It took a week just for someone to fax a refill order to a doctor and I personally called the doctor's office to get it done. My wife and I spend well over $5,000 annually at this location alone, never mind with other Rexalls, but no longer ... we have had it and are moving our business elsewhere and they don't care! Worse is we are not alone as we often stand waiting in the store for service we hear other customers complaints and those complaints are even worse including wrong meds given out or someone's narcotics order given to the wrong person and the customer then required to get a new prescription from their doctor. Best thing is to close the store and start over.

Then I went to go buy something at the front cash and the lady was rude too. Went here bought 2 drinks with $20 bill, got a $5 and a toonie back. Later realizing this, I called the manager named Sharon who was very rude over phone and when I went to get the $5 they would only give back, (receipt said I should have had $14 in change at least.) I confronted her about the missing amount excluding the $5 and she completely denied it. She also mockingly laughed and said a very much sarcastic sorry when I mentioned she was being condescending. Never coming back here.

Not only did he administer the flu shot to my family with professionalism and ease, he showed incredible patience with one of my kids who unexpectedly started to panic. He tried an assortment of tactics and never gave up. (On that note, I’d also like to thank everyone who had to wait a little longer in the line at the pharmacy yesterday!!). You rock Nik!!

Myself and a friend visited this store late friday night last weekend. We had the intention of purchasing pepto bismol for my upset stomach. We wore semi-casual clothing and our behaviour was to be considered normal. Not even 5 minutes of being there we hear; security scan for our current isle in the store. Shortly after we see the cashier leave her till and follow us around the store, until we were ready to make our purchase. I felt very uncomfortable and discrimated against as I am a black male. I will not be returning to this location and I will continue to share this story to friends and family.

Haven't been here in years thought I'd go check out what they have. Seen some good sale prices wanted to browse but had the most uncomfortable feeling as they didn't want my service as the security followed me everywhere like I was a thief. This is not my regular pharmacy. Just chose it because its close to work so I could stop in on my lunch. I went to pick up my dog’s prescription, and the pharmacist Bob was incredible. Went in to ask about flushing my ears out. The guy at the pharmacy was so extremely rude and miserable. First he acted like I was insane for asking if they had kits to do it at home, and said no like I was an imbecile for even asking (I later found 4 different kits.) Then when I asked if they had any saline solution I could buy he treated me like I was trying to use it to make drugs or something. I can’t imagine being an elderly person who can’t advocate for themselves having to deal with this kind of customer service. Absolutely brutal. Will never go back.

Prev. 5 stars. Overall just been a very frustrating experience lately. I keep getting conflicting news from each person I speak to over the weeks about renewing different medications. I don't think some people realize how hard this can be on someone who relies on medications to function.

Very rude and unprofessional pharmacist. I am constantly waiting on my medications and thats very crucial when taking an antibiotic. I am given excuses every time i go in for a prescription and given very short, rude and unclear explanations that are somehow rules there but aren't at other pharmacies. I do not recommend anyone with anything more than a minor health concern to go to this pharmacy, and even then i would suggest going somewhere else to save yourself from the unpleasant experience.

Rexall Drugs at 420 Albert Street will never get fewer than 5 STARS from me. They had my Kalaya Pain Relief cream with the special massager applicator attachment that I like! And, at a very good price compared to what I was paying on line at another site plus shipping. Thank you for stocking Kalaya products and especially this one. The staff member who assisted me was very helpful and pleasant too! Much appreciated!

Just received my 1st Astra zeneca vaccine today. Pharmacists and all assistants were friendly and knowledgeable. The vaccine was given efficiently, quickly and I barely felt it. Very professional.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS! I went here for my prescription for anxiety and my meds were not covered costing me just under $100 . They didn’t have the amount of meds i needed only filling a part of my prescription. When i went back to get the medication they still owed me they said i already picked it up which is 100% false. Now i am out money and going through withdrawals from lack of my medication. Worst service ever.

My fully vaccinated daughter came in to buy an emergency supply of a feminine product and the lady at the cash, so sweet btw, asked her if she needed a washroom, considering the urgency of the situation and the distress on my daughter's face. A so-called 'Manager' with absolutely NO decency asked my daughter where she was going and as she explained, proceeded to harass her until my daughter left. To that woman, I say, you have no clue until you have been in her shoes. Good luck with that!

Rude older staff. I brought an item to the checkout and asked if it was part of the promo in the flyer, cashier wasn't 100% sure and called another cashier over to check. Two older cashiers were at the other register and didn't even come by or look at the situation. One of them literally just brushed both of us off, gave an annoyed "I don't think so" and walked away as I was asking for clarification/help finding the promo item. Felt awkward and unwelcome for asking a simple question and randomly getting a rude response back. I work retail as well, unimpressed that's how your staff treats customers and coworkers. Ended up going to one of the Ajax locations afterwards and the staff there was super helpful and friendly about the same situation and the item I wanted WAS part of the promo.

Unlike the other negative review that are only about the pharmacy, mine is about the store itself. Amazing staff and great selection for a small store. I come here all the time, it so much less crowded the SDM, and most of the time the sales are about the same. So coming here is less stressful and enjoyable when shopping. I do recommend coming here, and for seniors know you are always welcomed and someone will help you. I have seen seniors walkout of SDM because no one would help them if they couldnt find something, but here you will not be ignored.

Okay, I love the deals that you can get at Rexall. But, on two occasions, I have had to make complaints about their security. The first was a gentleman, who as soon as I came into the store followed me everywhere, making no attempts to be stealthy at all. When I went to wait in line, (after being followed everywhere around the store in close proximity) I then pretended that I forgot something, then literally ran all the way back to the pharmacy area, only to hear him run after me, then I ran back to the front till area, where he ran back to the front after me, and watched me intently as I checked out. I was appalled by this, so I just nicely asked to speak to the manager, she Apologized, said she will be having a word with that security company. I thanked her, and presumed the problem dealt with. Then about 2 weeks ago, I go into the store, there is literally no one else in the store. When uppon entering I immediately see a guy dressed in odd clothes ( baggy sweats and hoodie) who just starts picking up random items, then putting them down again, barely looking at them, no cart or basket with him either. I thought ; " Okay, terrible job at being a undercover shopper since I spotted you as soon as I walked in, but whatever, I couldn't care less ". That is until this guy starts following me around, starting at me, only to fumble with the object he was pretending to look at when he noticed me looking at him with a perplexed look on my face. So, once again he follows me relentlessly ( and this guy is just an undercover shoppers, not even security). So, I finish my purchase, leave the store. HE FOLLOWS ME OUT TO MY CAR AND ONCE I GET IN MY CAR , DECIDED TO STAND IN FRONT OF IT AND JUST ACT LIKE HE'S TALKING ON HIS PHONE! So , I took pictures, because this is ridiculous!!!!! He realized this, shook his head and walked away a bit ( Like 5 feet, over by the post office box, as you can see in picture). I was going to leave, and complain later, but I forgot something so ended up doing a lap around the store, and as I went to go back in, he tried confronting me by shouting: " Do you have a problem with me?". To which I ignored him and thought it best to speak with management. So after speaking to a very young kid in management, who to be frank, I don't think knew how to handle the situation properly because I told him this was an issue in the past, and he just said k I'll talk to him. Didn't really make me feel like he cared about the situation or the fact that this has been an ongoing problem. I even said I love shopping here, but I don't want to because I'm feeling uncomfortable every time I come in now. Anyways, you'll see from the pictures how ridiculous it was that this guy stood in front of my car.

I found the lady behind the counter to be quite rude and given the positive experiences that I normally have at other Nanaimo Canada Post outlets, this I pass on this less than stellar review. She was rude regarding vaccine questions and sarcastic making one feel highly insulted. My husband came in to buy some multivitamins that had a sale sticker on them. He gets home and we clearly should have looked closer at the product; it expires Nov. 1st. That's only two weeks to down a 3-month supply of vitamins (90 tabs). Shouldn't be selling them, in my opinion.

Terrible service. My husband has called in for 3 days in a a row to have his epilepsy medications delivered. girl said script was being filled and would go out at the 10:30am delivery pick up. Didn't show. called in the morning to complain and ask for the delivery. The man on the phone seen no record of the first days interaction. Then says it will be delivered . Does not show 4:00 pm calls again. Staff contact the delivery driver. He is told would be here by 45min to 1h... No show. We have had similar problems even when picking scripts up. The staff are rude. And the store is mismanaged.

Its an alright store. The workers here are nicer than the gas store and their gift cards here do work so thats a plus. I visit this once a blue moon because they have average stuff. The pharmacy is decent and has some helpful products. This store is average it would be better if the area was not bad. Some customers who come here are 50/50 sometimes they have manners and sometimes they don't.

Worst service ever. Went there tonight to get a package and the post office closes at 5pm! The girl behind the counter gave me attitude at the post office and snapped at me for even coming up to the counter. Went to the front and the manager was laughing because I went all the way back there to the post office when i should of known they were closed. Some of us do not get off work till 6pm so the hours are not very customer friendly to the public.

They are racist, I gave them the name she gave me one medication. The person that it is for told me there was suppose to be five. So I went to buy milk to not hold up the line and came back.All three of them made eye contact with me and decided to ignore me. So I left and called since they seem to be so fond of the phone I give them the name, He wasn't sure what was happening it seems he put me on hold for 15 minutes. I called them they recognize my phone number they didn't pick up. My mom just call them with a different phone number they answered her automatically.

I was very unhappy with the way the manager treated me. I was interested in buying a set of fragrances that seemed to be on display, it looked and smelled as though customers have tested it because each bottle was a little empty. I still wanted to buy it at the discounted rate. Even 20% off would have been okay because it was the last one they had. So when I asked the manager, she said it shouldn't be used. I responded with "but it is, I can smell the fragrances without opening the bottles and one of the bottles was half empty." She started giving me attitude and talking to me impolitely. So I said "never mind I guess I wont get it." Then she scoffed and walked away. Clearly, the manager does not care about business ethics nor did she have an ounce of respect for her customers. So I will never go here again.

I recently moved to the area and moved my prescriptions from Shoppers Drug Mart. My monthly cost for medications and dispensing fees there was $156.00. At Rexall, it is $416.00 for the same medication. I was told that there is no mark-up on the medication and the dispensing fee at Rexall is $3.00 more. So how can they charge $260.00 more than SDM?

Just got my COVID vaccine at this location and the process was so easy, especially as a walk in! All staff I dealt with at the pharmacy were so incredibly nice and Rebecca, the pharmacist who administered the shot, was so friendly and informative. The older lady working the front cash was also extremely friendly. Great location all around!

I went to the Prince George Veterinarian Clinic yesterday with my pet rat and found out he has pneumonia. The clinic sent the prescription over to Rexall yesterday(It says the fax went through at the vet clinc). I called Rexall this morning and a male pharmacist told me they recieved nothing. Also told me that it couldn't be finished until the middle of next week. I said its an emergancy my rat will be dead by that time if I can't give him the medications. He then responded by saying there's about 30 urgents ahead of you so it can't be done before the middle of next week. Instead of calling the vet clinic to ask what was going on with the fax he said its up to the patient to figure it out. Whether this prescription is for an animal or human this pharmacist could have been more helpful to call the vet for the patient. In this situation it means life or death for that patient. His words came off as rude/uncaring and not very helpful at all. I had to ask him myself if there was any other pharmacy that could do compounds in PG. Very dissapionted in the way this was handled there.

Very cute store. An employee came up to me asking if I needed any help, I didn't but she was social distancing. So I appreciated that. They had exactly what I needed hair dye wise (5.50$). They did not have manic panic, but had an alternative that worked well. They had a wide variety of skin care products, which I also appreciated as some skincare products are harder to find then others. They only use paper and reusable bags, which again is another plus. I had a rewards card, that I found out was not registered but the cashier was extremely helpful in trouble shooting and was very informative. They also bad a WIDE variety of press on nails which is another big plus. I have never been to this store prior, but will definitely come again.

the pharmacists that I've dealt with here are miserable , I actually got yelled at by one of them last night because the prescription I've been waiting for for 2 days still wasn't ready and I stated I'd come back for it the following day. I was busy and couldn't wait for it. She told me she was going to take at least a half hour to fill it , I stated I'd come back tomorrow and started to walk away , she yells at me that I need this prescription and that how could she have gotten ready if she just got it. Extremely unprofessional !! I did not make a scene about coming back so I saw absolutely no reason for her acting that way. I'm thinking of switching pharmacies , they never have my prescription ready ( even with lots of advance notice) , I always have to wait to get it and there is only one or two friendly people who work there the rest of them act like they hate their jobs...overall a horrible customer experience.

Customer service at this pharmacy is hit or miss. Lady on the phone is nice but have dealt with some in person rude pharmacists at this location. Retraining on customer service should be on their radar for this location.

Terrible service at the pharmacy. I am a First Nations woman. No recognition from any staff while my sister and I were waiting. Pharmacist didn’t want to fill an emergency prescription until I called my own pharmacist in Vancouver to help. Pharmacist also didn’t want to fill a full Tylenol 3 script for my sister because she I’m just got one 2 days ago. She phoned the surgeon to change her script not pausing to ask so I need or want to keep coming to this unfriendly place of business and medicine for more refills.

Great Place to get a vaccine! Took my father who was hesitant to get the vaccine. The ladies working there 2 Friday's ago, I believe it was Moe and Lina, where outstanding! Not only did they manage the line up of people trying to pick up their regular prescriptions but also were doing COVID vaccinations in between. Hardest working duo in the business in my opinion, while keeping their spirit nice and friendly. Will definitely bring my Father in for the 2nd shoot. I also recommend anyone who has any reservations about getting the shoot by someone who is qualified and friendly to come here! 100%. Head Office better watch out, these two ladies would make a great addition to any pharmacy team, especially now since its hard to find anyone good or anyone willing to work at all. Paul

Used to have such great staff and service at the pharmacy. Now they never have my medications in stock, never fill them on them. It shouldn’t take 5 phone calls and 2 visits over 5 days just to get a prescription filled! Half the staff there now can’t speak English well and can’t spell my name right, tell me I don’t have refills when I do. I am permanently disabled and take a number of prescriptions and my husband has to pick them up because I’m too ill to do it and he’s getting fed up with going there to find out they didn’t bother to fill a prescription I dropped off 4 hours earlier or called in 2 days earlier!!! We are seriously switching from pharmacies despite having a 2 block drive up now to a 12 block drive if we switch to Shoppers Drug Mart but at least the service will be professional and timely

Every time I go into and ask the pharmacist for an over the counter medication she always says no. Since it is so close I pop in occasionally and she always dismisses me. She does not say when it will be in just no. Worst ever. Go to another location or to a Shoppers. Not worth the hassle. Awful! And I had to go in this store again yesterday. Extremely unhappy woman working at the pharmacy. She is never wearing a mask, and I can't even ask her if she's exempt or something because the look on her face and her demeanor say " you are an inconvenience to me and my day, leave me alone". Looking around at other employees, I saw 2 employees with those face shields that do nothing, and another young guy with no mask. I saw him recently wearing one so I guess it's a matter of which manager is working or something? I don't really know that's just a guess. Customers not wearing masks and no manager or anyone asking them to wear one. The sign on the door says it's mandatory. So I can only assume, that this location has been infiltrated with covidiots, and I can't have people like that handling my prescriptions.

What a fantastic pharmacy. My Dr accidentally prescribed a medication that is no longer available for my daughter. I went to fill it at a different pharmacy and they sent me to Rexall to get the medication compounded because my Dr’s office was closed and they couldn’t get him on the phone to change the prescription. Long story short Rexall got ahold of him, had the prescription updated and had us on our way in less than 30 min. They were knowledgeable, extremely helpful and kind. A pharmacy you can trust. Thank you Rexall staff, you saved my weekend and most importantly made sure my daughter got the medication she needs.

My experience at Rexall is nothing short of abysmal. Specifically the Canada Post within the store, extremely rude and condescending staff. Not all of the staff are so incredibly rude but the postal employee could really use some refreshment training on customer service. To feel like you are inconvenient to their day, by simply purchasing an envelope is ridiculous. Save your time and sanity and just go to Shoppers.

Awful service. I waited 30 minutes for my prescription. The pharmacist was too busy being nice to addicts - they didn't need to wait a minute! When I complained, he said these people were in a hurry. I was in pain, but apparently some people are more important than other. On top of that, they couldn't find me in their system. Do they even know how to keep their records? I will never go there again.

They are all very kind and Bob the pharmacist is the only word I can use is awesome he will do anything he can to help. I received an automated phone call yesterday that my prescription was ready. I have several prescriptions, none of which was about to run out. Late this afternoon I went to the pharmacy counter and the clerk found a bag with one of my drugs in it. However, there were only 7 tablets of the ordered 100, I was told that I "might" get a call when the other 93 were available. This is a drug for high blood pressure and is widely prescribed. Why would a pharmacy in a community heavily weighted with senior citizens run out of such a drug? And though I am fairly mobile at this point, the day may come when yet another trip to the pharmacy will be difficult. This is a pattern of inefficiency in this particular pharmacy.
