My mother has been long time patient of Shoppers Drug Mart, but switched all her meds over after the pharmacist sat down and completed extensive review of her medications, with some great recommendations. Now getting her meds weekly bubble packs, which allows mom to track if she’s been missing any of her meds. Fantastic service, Independently owned, and very large assortment front store with 20% discount for seniors! Highly recommend

This Pharmacy is now under new ownership and a new name. All the other reviews are for a previous pharmacy that no longer exists. This new pharmacy is great!!! All the staff and pharmacists are very friendly and knowledgeable and give you the time to answer any questions you have. This is my number 1 go to pharmacy ????

Given incomplete equipment to administer medication, was told too bad by the pharmacy manager who was more interested in denying error than correcting it. Not only has she delayed treatment, she was rude, wrong and irresponsible. Perhaps if there had been a consult with her when it was picked up, the mistake may have been corrected before I left the store with said new medication, but that wasn't offered either. Update: Pharmacist was reprimanded and being monitored by the BC College of Pharmacists.

I switched to THE PHARMACY because I was frustrated with big box pharmacies; in particular long waits, poor electronic communication and a lack of personal touch. The transition was remarkably smooth in that THE PHARMACY contacted my provider, had everything transferred over, entered my information into their system. It is such a pleasure to walk into THE PHARMACY and spoken to by name. Jane is a wonderful completion to their team; wonderful personalities, no errors, no waits, fast checkout. Couldn’t ask for more in a team at a pharmacy. I highly recommend switching to THE PHARMACY.

I came into the store, 2 women at the till did not acknowledge me. I shopped around a little and no one offered any help When I found what I needed I went to the till and there was no one there. Still no one has spoken to me I waited a few minutes and no one came or acknowledged me so I left my items on the counter and left. This is similar to other experiences at this store where I have been completely ignored until I came to the till. Wont be visiting this store again even though it's our most local pharmacy

Would not recommend. I was sold a prescription cream several times bigger than what my doctor prescribed, and I didn't realize it when it got home. Called the store to inquire as to why I was being sold a different size that costed me much more, was transferred around a lot and had to call several separate times, encountered lots of beating around the bush, and given weak excuses. I just wanted to know why they would sell me something different from prescription without even telling me; was not a big deal until I was met with their infuriating responses. The pharmacy rep also kept interrupting me and talked at length. Not even a word of apology. Turns out somehow their cream was the one medicine I was taking that was causing painful inflammatory reactions too, even though I had the exact same cream prepared for me by various other pharmacies in the past with no problem. I'm too tired to call again to ask why. My skin condition is much worse now than when I started using what was supposed to be a trusted medicine. Horrible customer service, slow workers, suspiciously poor pharmaceutical work. Stay far away.

I agree with Marilyn...they don't make it a comfortable experience when shopping. You're watched as if you're doing something wrong. Granted it's not the best neighbourhood but that doesn't excuse the judgemental behaviour.

I'm a regular customer & everytime I go to that store I'm being watched closely as if I was a shoplifter, I've never shoplifted in my life & I don't intend to start now at my age, I will NOT be shopping there too often from now on. My previous review was for Peoples Drug mart, they are no longer in business in the langley mall, it's now a new pharmacy called 'The Pharmacy" they have natural products that are great, Sharon and Rhonda at the front desk are very friendly and very helpful, the pharmacists are also helpful, I often shop there now, I'm happy Peoples Drug mart is gone.

Decent place but showed up 10 minutes before they were supposed to close and it was already locked. Unfortunate that they don't just state their hours of operation as when they actually close because I wouldn't have bothered.
