I love this place but I think that may have a lot to do with its proximity to my home. No Frills offers a selection of decent products for the size of the location. Its no Superstore but the location is just not large enough for a full deli and bakery counter. Its VERY busy on a Sunday afternoon with checkout lines trailing back into the aisles. However, I do have to say not once have I encountered an rube checkout person. They are very friendly considering what they put up sometimes.

Often good supply of items from household to fresh and frozen foods, keeping shelves stocked, particularly during the harder times in the beginning of covid-19. This made me as a senior alot happier I didnt have to go to several more stores, which we know for alot us can be dangerous. They also make sure store was not over crowed and workers were helpful and kind, often helping me bag items they dont have to. Prices are for the most part alot cheaper then other stores.

They now have 5 or 6 self check out options.. before this if you came during the afternoon rush the lines were 10 deep. This is a mini superstore with similar prices. Don’t expect huge selection because of the store size, but for everyday basics this is my go to grocer

Was followed the entire time I shopped by security last night which I find very discriminatory seeing as I am an Aboriginal man, and when I went to check out and informed the supervisor who was an older lady, I told her I'm used to this type of discrimination when I shop but it is completely unacceptable to be followed like I'm some sort of criminal especially when it was pretty evident I was doing a shop and had no intent to steal SHE LITERALLY SCOFFED AT ME! Some of the cashiers at the store in Langley are rude and unprofessional, specifically a cashier named Nicholas ID #211 just to name one even though he is not the only cashier I have experienced there with a bad attitude. Nicholas is the cashier there with black hair, black rimmed glasses and black goatee. After an experience that my wife had there in which this guy was brazenly rude to her, we will do our grocery shopping exclusively at Save On Foods up the street in Langley from now on no matter what enticing little deals they have on at No Frills which is usually on processed junk food anyway. I try to have a positive attitude as much as possible as well as patience and tolerance. However, the way that this cashier spoke to my wife, which she reported to me after she came out of the store, was unacceptable. He was rude and unprofessional so buyers be aware of rude cashiers when you go to that store location. The least that No Frills should do for customers who bring them their business is to treat customers with professionalism, friendliness and respect but I guess it's not a priority to them. I am glad we still have Save On Foods where we have shopped for fifteen years without any complaints. We will not shop at No Frills again and I would not recommend the No Frills store in Langley to anyone.

A decent neighborhood grocery that is convenient and is competitively priced. As a subsidiary of Loblaws Superstore, you'll have access to the President's Choice brand items as well as the standard name brands. PC Points and Optimum cards are accepted, so if heading to the major groceries isn't in the cards, this is good time saving alternative.

No-frills is awesome I shop between there ,save-on,and Safeway. If you are like myself it isn't just the cost it's quality as well. Those 3 stores can provide you with all your grocery needs as long as you know your prices. An item might be $5 at one store and $3 at the other and 2 for $5 at the the third. So know your prices shopping will much more economical if your know what's what and where.

I go there when I need just a couple items, I can't help not liking how I was treated by the staff there before, I use to shop every week or week & a 1/2 for my kids & I, it's about 2 blocks from my place, I remember I'd spend an average of 170.00$, so this one Sunday evening I shopped there like usual again, than when I was done, I went to my truck after loading the truck up, & my battery was dead, I have a extra insurer called Bcaa, that will come if I call them for these times, & jump start my vehicle, i look in my purse, I'd forgotten my phone, I go back in the store ,so Michael's No Frills,( so I Had just bought Groceries), I'm stuck , there wasn't any other store open, NOT EVEN ONE OF THE WORKERS would let me borrow their PHONE, it was against their policy, I needed to walk home alone at dusk, & back, ( I have a disability, it's hard to tell, Chronic pain condition from an injuries working as an RN) So I told Michael a few days later, his answer was weak, protecting his staff, not sincere & apologising to me even. WOW

The prices are a hit or miss, some things are pretty cheap and some things are a little pricier. Definitely check an online result first before setting your Hope's on No Frills. The covid precautions theyve taken are nice, though keep in mind the self checkouts currently only take card so make sure to use an in person till if you're using cash at all. The hours could be more wide, but if you come around mid-day then it's usually fine.

This place is just what you expect. You get cheaper groceries here than a lot of other stores, unfortunately the quality of the products can vary widely (much like any store). It's wheelchair access, and the parking lot has some shade in case you're worried about returning to a scorching hot car (heat like that effects my health). The selection is actually very large here, and it's a go-to for me for produce. They also use the PC/Optimum rewards points that is used at Shopper's Drug Mart and Super Store, so bring your rewards cards :) Staff is always very pleasant, and never makes me feel signaled out for having a disability like many other stores do. I appreciate it a lot.

I love this shop. They have good variety of groceries and fruits. They have good quality and variety of breads. They stand for their tagline. I think 95% of goods are cheaper than any other store except meat. one can find good deals on meat at safeway. At langley 204 street, No frills have less staff or management is improper, even if you ask they don't move. Always needs to wait in line. Maximum one or two cashier work at a time. They have self checking counters. But I normally buy lots of groceries and it's better to do proper bill from cashier.

I swear to god I would have starved to death a couple times without this place. There are so many good deals, and produce is usually very fresh. The only thing is the store is so tiny! My sister and I came here on February 5th near closing time looking to buy some items we saw were on sale in the flyer, as soon as we entered the store we began being followed by a middle aged female employee in the store. We felt very unsafe and threatened, she kept following me and my sister aisle after aisle, even when we went to self checkout she kept harassing us. My card declined at the self checkout for some reason, as it did, I left the items I was going to buy at the front of the store. The female employee who was stalking us the entire time then said in an aggressive manner “thanks for wasting my time” as she aggressively went to grab the items I left because my card declined. I honestly will never be back at this store if you have people working there like that.

Cheaper than most major supermarket chains. Similar to Superstore as in no name and PC house brands, accepts Optimum points card. Some good deals to be had if go at night to get discounted products. Never have to wait long to pay, although no self checkouts. Store small side and easy to get around. Single dingy bathroom in the back usually with drug paraphanalia scattered about, but that cant really be helped. Our first shopping destination for food, produce especially as its fresh and reasonably priced

This location, as well at the Cloverdale location. Has a loss prevention officer that has made myself, as well as other females feel uncomfortable. Multiple times, at both locations. I have spoken to the Cloverdale location, as well as the Langley location. Was told was getting let go off. And he is still at these locations. The third time that he was uncomfortably close to me. I confronted him. Let him know he makes me feel very uncomfortable. I’m aware it is his job. But when I come in with no purse, as a working professional female. I should not have someone within arms already of me, every corner I turn. As well, I should not be able to notice him. Around me, at both locations. I felt as if he was a drug user following me. But he is the loss prevention officer. When I made him aware, I was uncomfortable he then accused me of being paranoid. Females, if you shop here. Just be aware of your self and surroundings. Now when I see him, after the confrontation. He makes it very obvious he is around me. He is very confrontational and disgusting.

The prices are very affordable and the staff are so friendly. Large aisles and a clean environment. One employee in particular, "Sue" is very personable with everyone. All customers love her. I have seen her giving personal advice and she knows and remembers everyone and their families. Such a warm feeling of community at the Langley location. I recommend it highly.

Very well organized, only a few clowns that display their ignorance of distancing....and I still make a good size blocker so I blocked except for a couple of elderly folks that were at least wearing gloves. 4 bags of food including a pork shoulder for $40.00 2 lbs of onions $1.00!!! Friendly staff. Very good experience overall.

A lot of products has wrong price. Please double check when paying. I found salmon for 6.97 , when paying - price was 19.99. They did price check and woman from meat department (very rude and she said she is a manager, declined to provide her name, turned her name tag down … name starting with “A”) declined to provide me price as per displayed. Even I mentioned to them that it is wrong price tag, to avoid that situation for future. Extremely disappointed. The cashier was super nice and friendly

As I was leaving Michaels no frills in langely this evening I was given a dirty look from the east indian young women as I walked away she said have a good night followed by a sneer and laugh to her co worker I turned and asked what her problem was she said nothing with a smirk.I felt being a middle aged white man she was discriminating against me.I tryed to call the management but it just forward me to the internet. wont be going back!

Each time when I buy a fruit or vegetable I am afraid of quality. Today is the last time I get this kind of product from them. Never fresh so a portion of it you have to throw out. I loaded a picture of the organic lemon I just purchase a few minutes ago (coming in the package of 5 - now I have left with 4), I lost 20% of the value. I don't think that the other more expensive stores would sell the same product for more than 20%. Its been like that for more a few months ...Eric

A lot of their stuff expires before due date. Bought a carton of orange juice and I opened it July 20th and poured in my glass and seen a chunk of something go in and then it floated to the top and it was blue fuzzy mold and the expiry date was july 29... it's just an assumption but i think they repack food like their meats and put a new expiry date on things. Probly stuff that superstore is about to throw in the garbage. Update: bought a pillers party tray April 13 and went to open and one whole package of cheese was caked full of mold and the expiry date says April 30. Wish I could post pics. Hate buying stuff when you cant see inside the packaging. How on earth do you guys keep getting stuff that's moldy before it's expiry date. Do you leave it sitting in the sun for days then put it on the shelf?

NEVER AGAIN. I thought this store was wonderful but seeing how they treat their essential workers who also are disabled this morning disgusted me. They refused to let a disabled care aid in during senior and disabled early shop. Because she wasn’t a senior, but she was shopping for a senior and had proof that she herself was disabled but once they looked at her they turned her away even though she was wearing Medical mask and gloves . This is so wrong! Just because you can’t see someone’s disability does not mean it’s not there! I personally will not shop Here again and suggest others stand up and let them know that’s not okay to treat people like that

I always shop at No Frills in Langley, B.C., Until now. However, the price of the celery stalks are overpriced as is their whole lemons too. The staff do not accept products that are returned to the store for a refund because they simply don't honour any customer satisfaction for the goods that the customers buy at No Frills in Langley, B.C. No refunds were ever given to me even though I always had a valid receipt. This store is the last place on my list to shop at ever since they refused to give me my refunds for the poor quality of the products that I bought at their store.

I love this store when I need fresh, vegetables, herbs, fruits. Honestly has very competitive pricing. Some are locally sourced so lasts longer. Plus every concievable other thing you need. First time for me in this store... Produce not very fresh... Kind of old looking... One of the cashiers had an attitude... Checking out wasn't very clear... Cashiers and self checkout what seemed to be the same line... Sometimes hard to find things... Deli ? Well... I'm not sure if there was one, or if it was containers in a cooler section... The bakery was a bit differant too... No bakery per say...(that i saw...) Just bread and buns on shelves... Would i go back there? Not to soon...

I went in with food vouchers due to unfortunate circumstances, and the cashier looked down on me as if i were always a hobo or something, and when asked about the 7.50 change i had, she didnt even offer to let me spend it in store, not like i wanted the cash or anything, instead she took my vouchers and said the company dont keep it either soo you dont get it and completed the transaction without giving me an option, therfore i lost out on atleast a couple lunches for work since this woman decided to make me feel soo uncomfortable i probably will not return to this location, no common courtesy for someone down on there luck

I wasn’t crazy about shopping at No Frills when I lived in East Vancouver. This location, however; I quite enjoy! For me, the location is on my way home. It has the basics but also has some nice extra items. If management reads this, please consider opening earlier than 9:00am. Today there were about 8 people out front waiting for the store to open at 8:50am plus more people in their cars. This area has many Elders/seniors as neighbours and I think the store and neighbourhood would benefit if No Frills opened at 8:00am or 8:30am. I love the newer self-checkout option! It really helps to keeps the lineups moving.

The store has a good variety of different types of products but a limited selection within each type. (For example, their coffee section was about 1/3 the size of most other grocery stores.) We mainly looked at produce and the prices were pretty good. And here they did have a nice variety; they had persimmons, which I don't think I've seen in my usual store.
