A very beautiful area, impressive nature at any season, especially in winter. The hotel is also beautiful but we did not stay there. The stores inside have nice souvenirs.

Got the chocolate cake at their lakeview restaurant and would not recommend. For lunch ordered the burger which was great quality and fairly priced but would not dine here again unless it was a special event or no other food options around.

Beautiful view at the Chateau having afternoon tea! Fiona, our server was exceptional! She was polite, knowledgable and friendly! It was my boyfriend first afternoon tea experience and she explained everything in great detail. They were very good at accommodating to my food allergies as well. Parking was also complementary with our dine in experience!

We had a wonderful time at this hotel celebrating our wedding anniversary, the staff was very friendly and helpful. Checking in was so smooth even though we showed up a bit earlier but they let us check in! The concierge was also very helpful and helped me arrange some cupcakes and balloons for our room! We also received a nice personal card from the Manager (Tracy) congratulating us on our day, thanks that was a nice touch!!!

The check in process was terrible, needs major improvement as despite an early check in request still had to wait for 3.5+ hrs and had a major argument with the manager on duty...after all the painful wait a room was allocated that was not air conditioned and had no microwave.. The premises overall was excellent.

The Lake Louise Fairmont is absolutely stunning outside, with marvelous views to be seen around every corner. We were treated well by all staff, kudos to all the staff for wearing masks. The parking was easy to figure out, and check-in was easy. Our room however, was the only disappointment. It wasn't very clean, considering we had a $750 per night room. The rooms are small, with tiny bathrooms. There was smudges and dust on the mirrors and side tables, along with crumbs on the counter from a previous person, and hair still in the shower. The bed was comfortable, and the sheets were clean. The pillows were very flat for my preference. The lake view was absolutely gorgeous from our room, despite only being on the first floor. Plus, it was wonderful to walk along the lake at night when it was closed to the public and only accessible by hotel guests.

We stayed here last year, in October. One of the most fantastic stay and we will always cherish the moments spent. The room was small but the lake view was breathtaking. All the Covid protocols were followed and we felt safe to stay here. Food was great! Will definitely come back again.

We had the privilege to stay at the Fairmount Chateau in Lake Louise. From our room, we had a view of Lake Louise which was stunning. However, the room was extremely small. Definitely not worth the price. The food at the hotel was good, not great and for that price, you would expect it to be exceptional. The service at the lounge, Lakeview restaurant, and the Poppy Brasserie was okay. We were not impressed at all. Not worth your money if you ask us. However, there was one person who made our stay memorable. He worked at the Valet desk. His name was Kurk or Kurt. He knew everything about Lake Louise. Where to do, what to do. Very knowledgeable. We truly enjoyed his company and his knowledge. A very kind man as well.

Great stay, highly recommend. Outstanding customer service, helpful and friendly staff. Can't beat the view of the mountains or lake. Very relaxing.

Every time I come here I always have that awe. How beautiful this place is!

Chateau Lake Louise is iconic, spectacular, and ultra Canadian. The scenery, history, and experience here can’t be beat. The hotel is ultra quiet… It’s like noise cancelling headphones for my mind. The staff are fantastic and the hotel never feels busy. In keeping with Canadiana, I like to say “sorry” to the hotel for an incident in 1999. Myself and 2 other frozen/ exhausted Canadian climbers tumbled into your lobby during a bitterly cold January. We had failed in our winter attempt on Mt Victoria. The staff treated us like we’d just stepped out of a VIP car. We must have been a crazy sight… (youth without any common sense). Thank you.

Top notch. Hard to beat. The room, the bathtub, jacuzzi, outstanding, first-rate meals with gorgeous views, affable and very enjoyable servers. Bravo!

Beautiful hotel, but check in process was terrible. They mixed up our reservation and we weren't able to check in for over 4 hours. Thankfully it was easy to grab our bathing suits from the bell hop and sit at the pool to wait out our room, but when we got to the pool the hot tub was out if service. Another disappointment ???? Afternoon tea was wonderful and we loved that they had 3 restaurants. Menus were small at restaurants and not many food options to choose from though.

Our children gifted us a weekend stay to celebrate our 50th anniversary. So glad they selected the Chateau Lake Louise. Our treatment from the staff was amazing. Every effort was made to enhance our experience. We highly recommend this hotel.

The location of this hotel must be one of the best in the world...just in front of Lake Louise....it is simply stunning. The hotel looks very grand from the outside and has an equally grand lobby and public areas. However the room we stayed in (standard with 2 Queen beds) was decidedly average. It seemed small compared to other hotel rooms we've stayed in and it was definitely showing signs of wear and tear. There was no TV remote, so we had to request one, and there were areas of the room that just had not been properly cleaned e.g. carpet was stained, extractor in bathroom and room fan blades were dusty. The bathroom itself was tiny...literally not enough room to swing a cat...and it had those horrible swing doors with a huge gap in the middle...not good when you're sharing the room with adult family members. Food and drink was also very expensive , as was the car parking, but I suppose we are a captive market. All in all a fabulous location but not good value for money. I'm glad I stayed there because I always wanted to, but now I've done it I wouldn't stay there again. If the hotel was anywhere else I'd give it 2 stars...only the view and location bumps it up to 4.

Loved the blue lake which can be viewed while you stay at the hotel.
