Best clinic in Kingston. I went there for a hurt shoulder, they got me in for the x-rays and MRIs super quick. Then they got me the referral for my shoulder surgery. I had to get notes for my medial EI and they provided them. Heading there this morning for another note. This clinic is the only place I go.

Thank God I chose this clinic! All the staffs are very friendly and helpful. The nurse I met took time to throughly discuss my issues. I waited for an hour and half but it was worth it (I went in close to the closing time so I assume it will be quicker if you visit earlier).

Fastest medical clinic ever. In and out, my son had an ear infection, a kind nurse did a check and asked questions, than a doctor over the computer came on and talked to me and my son, talked to the nurse and bam done. I even got my son’s prescription fill at the in house pharmacy. In and out in 30 minutes. I highly recommend . And will continue to take my whole family. Thank you for such excellent care.

I was in today and had an amazing experience! The clinic is clean and the staff is beyond friendly. I was in and out very quick. I wish I got the name of the nurse who helped me - she was knowledgeable and incredibly friendly. I will definitely be going to this clinic from now on. Also, love that it is open until 5:30 and not 5:00 like most clinics. This made it possible to make it there after work.

On Friday, October 25, 2019, my husband Don and myself attended the Medical Tree Clinic. We had felt at risk for over one year as we were with out a family Doctor. We met with Doctor Sood and also received medical advice from Sherry, Kathleen, and Maulik (Pharmacist). The professionalism, compassion, and depth of knowledge we received was great. We now feel at ease knowing that our health is being managed by such high quality individuals. Worst service I've ever received. I had explained I thought I had a kidney infection because I previously had one, and was having the same symptoms (UTIs, back pain, etc.) told the receptionist (who was very sweet by the way), and he collected a sample for the lab. They had called me around 10:45 to explain what they had thought was going on. The first thing the doctor asked was if I was Promiscuous, and I can understand where he's coming from with kidney and bladder issues, but I felt a bit offended by the way he stated it. I explained I think it is a kidney infection as I've had one before, he had asked me what medication I took for it before. I told him I was In Thailand the first time I had the infection, and didn't catch the name of the medication I had because of language barriers, it was also 2 years ago , ect. He replied to this with "Oh come on, you don't know what medication you took, how irresponsible." I replied with "There was a language barrier, my boyfriend is Thai and spoke with the person giving me the medication, that gained my trust with the medication I was taking and I had no further questions about it." He replied with"what do you do for a living? are you even an adult?" I was super offended by this as It kind of felt my competence was being questioned. I told him I could give him the name of my infection to see if that could help narrow the medication down, he snapped back with "No its fine". Then proceeded to ask me my pharmacy, Kingston is not my home city, so I said princess street, the doctor replied with "Are you kidding me, there is multiple shoppers your going to have to be precise." I can get where his frustration is coming from, but I definitely did not deserve to be spoken to like that, I thought this man was supposed to be in charge of finding out what medication I need, not me. If you are in need of a walk in clinic, I would recommend anywhere but here, (shout out to the super nice receptionist, the only positive part of this experience was him.)

Went in Aug 02 for an ear infection and was seen immediately by a nurse. Since I went in on a Friday (usually doctors there Mon-Thu AM) there were no doctors on site so the nurse used the Ontario Telemedicine Network (OTN). After a 5 minute wait the nurse and I were connected to a doctor in North Bay using the OTN which is just like Skype or Facebook chat. The doctor asked me numerous questions, read the nurse's evaluation and delivered a diagnosis and treatment plan. Overall I was very pleased with using this type of service. The front desk staff are extremely polite and easy to understand and there is a pharmacy onsite without any waiting times. I will definitely be using the Medical Tree Clinic again.

It is a good online experience. The pharmacist is very helpful. Nurse and doctor are also welcoming and attentive. Meeting in-person is my preference, but this should be satisfactory for more common ailments.

Went there when I had a bad respiratory infection and was suprised with how fast I was treated. There wasn't a Dr. on staff the day I went but they still had an option to speak to one by way of video chat. Everyone there was very professional and friendly, including the doctor on video display. Overall, I was quite impressed and was out with a diagnosis after 30 mins. I would have had to wait at KGH or HDH for hours.

Something is wrong with these walk-in clinics in Kingston. This place in particular has such horrible and disturbing mannerism. I called this clinic to just get a simple phone consult for lab blood work requisition (no more than 5 mins of the doctors time from past experiences) and mentioned I am new to Kingston. I was told that they're understaffed for two weeks and their not doing phone consults as far as she is concerned. I can go somewhere else she says. You call these people for help with your health and they just dismiss you when you have a valid issue. What is wrong with you people? They told me to go to the ER, then what is the purpose of a "Walk-in Clinic"? It's not my fault you're understaffed. Tell me you'll put me on a waiting list, that the doctor will try to give me a call, but in the mean time try to find another option. They straight up told me to go to the ER for lab work requisition? Makes no sense. The ER is for real emergencies, why I am there taking up space and time for a simple bloodwork request. I guess this is the care one recieves when these rude workers are raised by cows and chickens. Unbelievable and disgusting! #Unprofessional

I had to take my daughter in after school one day. Met with the nurse who identified the problem. And within a few minutes I was talking to a doctor onscreen! Based on nurse Kim’s assessment, our input, my daughter was prescribed a medication. This was all a very positive experience but it didn’t end there. Across the hall we met with the onsite pharmacist!! Maulik is brilliant!! Kind, smart and puts a lot of thought into his craft. There was some back and forth with the doctor to ensure dosage and what form it would be best delivered in. He worked with a joy and passion you don’t often see behind the counter. Very explanatory and made you feel he had all the time you needed. No rushing through the task but also not a long drawn out experience. I believe the medical clinic and pharmacy are two separate entities but there was great interaction between Maulik and The clinic nurse Kim. What a truly positive experience. Kudos to Medical Tree and the Pharmacy. I was truly impressed and actually walked out with a smile on my face. Even my 11 daughter enjoyed her visit!! Thank you.

Useless clinic filled with incompetent staff, who feel the need to close a clinic because they dont have enough staff to run it. Doctors are useless since they are on webcam cant tell the difference between a break or a sprain.... go anywhere else but here save your stress and time.

The staff in the medical tree, are kind caring and ensure that you are taken care of properly, without feeling like you are a burden to them. Nurce Sherry was very personable and passionate about her job and made feel very welcome. After the visit with the doctor on screen, i filled my perception with Maulik who took the time to explain the medications to me. This clinic is great convenient and makes you feel like a person not just a number Thankyou very much medical tree. We will be back.

Excellent walk in clinic. I left work an hour early today thinking I would be there for at least 1 to 1.5 hrs. I arrived at 4:05 pm on a Friday afternoon. Nobody was waiting. I was in and out, with my script by 4:20 pm. Secretary was awesome, and Dr. Ronald Twiddy was very helpful and knowledgeable. Pharmacist was quick. The entire establishment is efficient. Very impressed with this great medical clinic. I will always choose Medical Tree moving forward.

Best experience I ever had at a walk in clinic! extremely short wait time, beyond friendly and supportive staff, very clean, bright, and spacious! Nurse and Doctor were very pleasant! Pharmacist on site went above and beyond, I didnt have all my insurance info so he asked where I normally get my prescriptions.. I told him and he said he would be right back.. he called my previous location got all my insurance info imputed it, I waited no time at all for my prescription and he explained it in great detail. Seriously a hassle free clinic! Would totally recommend!

The Pharmacist, Maulik, is phenomenal. I call and actually speak to a person, the Pharmacist himself. I do not have to listen to a robot, punch a bunch of numbers into the phone and wait 2 days for my prescription. My prescription is ready in a very short time. Service with a smile and very competitive.

My family and I have been to the medical tree walk in clinic several times and I have always been incredibly happy with their service. Today I called ahead of time knowing that they sometimes close stop accepting patients before the closing time and I wanted to check before making the trip. The kind man on the phone took my and my sons name and told me that he would fit us in right at the end and that we could come right at 2:30. To not only be fit in but saved from waiting in a waiting room for over an hour with a three year old was so incredibly my thoughtful. I highly recommend this clinic!

Disappointed. I was referred to Medical Tree, I do not have a family doctor, I even emailed them ahead, telling them what I was looking for, they said that was fine. The appointment felt like 5 seconds, once I said I did not have a subscription, and was new to taking birth control, the doctor referred me to somewhere else, he did not want to take responsibility, and I felt as if I was a waste of his time. There is no reason why they could not help. Front staff was great though.

The receptionist is super friendly, respectful and empathetic. Something you don't see from a receptionist in a walk-in clinic anymore. Wait time is the same as anywhere else and shouldn't make a difference in reviews. Clean, very comfortable waiting room and clean washrooms.

Nice facilities and the receptionists are nice and capable. The doctor is an old guy who doesn't like dealing with new fangled issues such as mental health problems and medications associated with it. If you need help with those issues, but don't want to deal with someone who consistently minimizes your 'emotional' illness and that doesn't think it actually results in 'physiological' issues, or that it's not a 'medical' problem then don't come here. He also likes to correct minor errors in your English even though it's not relevant to the purpose of the visit.

It really depends on when you go there, the office staff are lovely, and the day I went there and there was actually a doctor there, he was fantastic. However, a week later when I came back and my ear infection had turned into strep throat, it was a Saturday so there was only a webcam doctor. There was a student nurse who did my examination and despite having infection in my ear, swollen and spotted tonsils and a long history of strep throat they told me I just had a cold and to rinse with salt water. So they sent me home without the meds I needed to fix the problem and I was forced to go to the hospital the next day once my tonsils were so swollen I couldn't swallow. The hospital staff was appalled that I wasn't treated in its early stages. I know I'm not a doctor, but you have a responsibility to LISTEN TO YOUR PATIENTS when they tell you something is wrong.

I emailed the clinic asking if I could come in as a walk in patient to talk about a concern I was having. The person who answered my email said that I couldn't come in. Why is it called a walk in clinic if you can't be a walk in patient ? In my opinion, this place deserves 0 stars.

I have been referred to a certain doctor at this location by my family doctor after a few tests came back abnormal. I had one over-the-phone consultation and accidentally missed the appointment where I was supposed to see the doctor for a test. I never missed an appointment before and acknowledged this the next Monday by calling them back. I can NEVER get a hold of any receptionist and though I have left multiple voicemails since April, even their machine says they do not guarantee a call back. The doctor I was referred to was nice (from speaking with her over the phone twice) but this facility is just unprofessional, and whoever is supposed to call back to actually set up appointments with patients is practically non-existent.an appointment and went. UPDATE: Finally did get my appointment
