I had to book a last minute Covid test for a flight that departed in less than 48 hours and Med+ came through big time! They were very understanding of my predicament, they booked me and performed the test on the spot right at the end of the day and performed the test. Manoj gave me assurances that he would expedite the results so I could board my plane without a hitch, and he did — I received my results in less than 24 hours! Thank you Med+!

This has got to be the worst in customer service experiences I have ever had. A Covid-19 PCR test was conducted by Med+ Pharmacy, only to NOT be able to access the link given to us to pull up the result. This resulted in a missed flight Saturday june 12/21. We tried to call the pharmacy, but they had closed. We then booked another flight next day, day 2. We called the lab in charge; Alpha Laboratories, who then tried to call IT to help with the issue. No success. We called Med+ again; who eventually was able to send us a copy of the faxed-in result they had received. I was able to clean up this blurry copy, which we presented for flight on day 2. Turns out this PCR test had now EXPIRED! This led us to seeking a place to have a second PCR test done, on day 3, with Vector Health Laboratories. It wasn’t until day 3 that a successful flight out occurred. All of this hassle & inconvenience, yet Med+ Pharmacy will not issue us a refund for a PCR test we couldn’t use due to no fault of ours. =========== a tone-deaf response from owner... no way to run a business. here’s hoping that government would come up with a better plan, an alternative source of testing within kingston. seeing that the corona virus may be with us for a while.

The pharmacy should be more honest. If a person calls and states they are flying to the U.S.A, it would be the decent thing to do, to tell them that the U.S only requires antigen test to enter, instead of letting people believe they have to pay for the 180 PCR

Choosing to transfer my prescriptions from a large box-store pharmacy to Med+ here in Kingston has been the best decision I have made in some time. Prices on the over-the-counter medications are comparable to the larger pharmacies and being treated like a valued customer is very nice too. I went for a covid test and they told me it would cost $180. For the same test at Shoppers Drug Mart it is $40. However, do your research as sometimes it is free but the local pharmacys don't know the law in-depth regarding who is eligible for free covid tests. I think charging $180 is wrong and should be penalized. (Thank you for your reply Med+Pharma)
