We always shop here when visiting the nearby family cottage, they usually feature good deals on steaks for that weekend BBQ! Wide aisles and super helpful staff. Good deals, healthy produce and well portioned and cut meat. Usually very well stocked and like all No Frills, is part of the Optimum rewards program which can really start to add up and pay off quickly if you pay attention to your offers. One of the better grocery stores in Kingston.

You've got to visit. I'd you and your hand are hungry for most anything you'll find all you need in a grocery store at No Frills outer Division Street right here in Kingston. Everything. Clean Fresh and great friendly staff. Everything Everytime!

You can't ask much from a No Frills but this one is pretty good, all things considered. Lots of parking with many other amenities close by. Staff are usually pretty friendly. Now that they have integrated the PC Optimum points, it's a more attractive place to shop. Lots of President's Choice and No Name brand products. Store is usually clean and the produce is pretty good.

I just needed to go in for a few things. The express checkout took several minutes, but mainly because people can't seem to count to 8, even though the sign says limit to 8 items. Nobody's fault except for the disrespectful people on line. The store was clean and the cashier was pleasant.

This is the best No Frills. Great prices and good selection. They have the PC brand which is fantastic! Lots of good sales most of the time. The location is really good too for 1 stop shopping. Canadian tire is close as well as lots of restaurants. Kings crossing for outlet shopping is right here as well.

Great No Frills with lots of parking, wide selection and nice people working. Its a popular location because of the poorness of the area. Certain produce will be gone by 5 or 6 pm and not restocked until opening the next day, so go early if you really need something specific.

Never had an issue with produce or meat here. Sales from the flyers are always well stocked. I dislike however, that cashiers have to call a supervisor over in order to do a price comparison. It delays the line. Cashiers at the other No Frills in town do not have to do this.

My experience is strictly related to the pharmacy roll out of the Covid19 vaccine. I March, both my wife and I received our first shots. The staff were exceptional and we were incredibly thankful. However, our issue is in relation to the handling of the second dose. We tried for almost a full week to book our appointment, but were simply told they had not received any vaccines, so were unable to book, but to continue calling back. Eventually, the pharmacy line was continually busy. We eventually were able to schedule appointments at 2 different locations. Our frustration was learning that this pharmacy had declined the shipment of vaccine and simply did not disclose that they were not going to be receiving any and that we should book elsewhere. As a result we almost missed an opportunity to get our second shots.

Returning meat for the THIRD time in a few months that expired early. Really a pain since I live in sydenham area, takes almost half an hour to get there. Maybe poor food storage? Also the selection was horrible the last two times I was there. The salad shelf was almost completely bare and there's been no chicken breasts either of those two visits.

This is the only place we do our grocery shopping. Shelves are always stocked with sale items, good to fantastic prices -- you can always get the basics and some extraa for around 20$ here. One downside, previously, was the lack of specialty food and drink. However, the store has recently rectified this and along with making other renovations, created an aisle for JUST specialty foods.

Great deals all around. Veggie selection needs expansion and sometimes veggies are less fresh than other more expensive stores. I think that is to be expected for the price difference but make sure you eat what you buy within a week before it goes bad.

Everytime I go to this store they have 2-3 checkouts open and are out of a lot of the stuff listed in the flyer. Today was my final visit - same as usual with the checkouts and when I went to the "express" with 3 items, the cashier was putting someone thru with at least 30-40 items. I left my stuff at the front of the store and walked out.

Excellent No Frills store! CLEAN, SPACIOUS, VERY WELL STOCKED. This is a store is right off the the 401 on Division so it is perfect if you need to make a quick run in for provisions. It is located along a strip of fast food outlets, gas stations, restaurants, Canadian Tire, outlet stores and a movie Theatre - all within 500m. There is plenty of parking.

Later in the evening within the last half hour of closing, about 6 or 7 people waiting in the 3 regular lines and a couple in the express, out pops 2 please use another cash signs forcing everyone with full carts and frozen items to 1 line or the self serve. Not impressed. Luckily the express cashier noticed what had just happened and called some people over.

Lots of great "stock up sales" store layout is easy to navigate and it makes sense. Lanes move along pretty quickly. Lots of sled checkouts. . Downside are online order cabinets create a bit of a bottle neck sometimes, however I think it's the best option they could come up with.

My girlfriend just got home from this location after being embarrassed by some of the cashiers and is extremely upset. The butter is on sale for $2.88 and not in the flyer but in the store is says a limit of 4 per “CUSTOMER” she gave some money to one of our kids friends who was with her for 4 more butter and the cashier gave her an extremely hard time about it being 4 per household which is incorrect and the girl getting the other 4 wasn’t part of our household anyways. This is the reason we normally shop at Loblaws and Costco shame on your staff for being rude to a mother with her kids.

A average size grocery store with a variety of products to choose from even added a section for people with dietary restrictions like gluten free breads and lactose free mild.Prices are fairly cheap and will do price match for stores in the area. The layout of the store has a flow to it.heck even the bathroom was decent for a public bathroom.

The store itself is well maintained and has a decent selection. However, they allow customers to park in the fire lanes/driving lanes directly in front of the store an entrances. It makes access to the store inconvenient for people with mobility issues like I have. I have been coming to this store weekly for a year and it has always been this way. No frills is the only reasonable place to shop for people on a budget. Prices are always competitive but they really work at smashing prices on at least a handful of things every week. No Frills does price match, but it is worth noting that price matched items have a limit of 4 items of any given product, so that may preclude larger family's from exclusively shopping there.

I went to the division street location on Sunday I got my ground beef buns everything I needed for my homemade hamburgers. When I got home I realized I had forgotten to grab a tomato and ran down to the store. I work in retail and hate running in last minute but as I looked at my watch approaching the door I had 7 minutes perfect I can be in and out in under 5! As I got to the door people were being turned away and the doors were shut. I went around and went to go into the exit door as I still had time. I was told the store was closed I said it is not 6 yet and got shoulders shrugged at me. I am not one to make a scene so I walked away. Thinking I would return to speak to a manager on another day. I just returned tonight to speak to a manager and was less than pleased with the results. I have been in customer service for years and have to say body language and eye contact are a big part. I simply asked when does the store close she replied 9. I asked what time it closed on Sunday and I got the answer 6. I then explained that I was not able to come in when the store was not closed. I had 7 minutes to get in and there was a guy who was sending people away. The manager replied that she was working on Sunday. I said okay but it had happened. She was constantly looking to the side at a computer and got very defensive. After a bit of silence she asked if I was making a complaint I said yes and she said okay she would leave a note for her manager. Didn’t ask my information or anything. So I asked her her name left. Grocery stores are scheduled to have 20 minutes after the doors are closed to make sure everyone is out. I understand working retail and wanting to go home but you cannot close a business early.

Cramped, OK vegis and fruits, usually less then friendly patrons, but cheaper food. What more would you expect from No Frills? We shop here regularly to save money so that is a huge plus. Our only wish is that there was more room at the check outs. We always find it difficult to pack our groceries as we are impeding the others and their way out and usually raises our frustration levels a bit.

If you go after 4 there is never anything on the shelves. Also the girl on right now at 710 pm July 9th 2021 at the front door is rude demanding I return the cart to the front of the store. She called after me many times mam mam mam I didn't realize she was talking g to me untill I turned around she looked at me and said make sure you bring the cart back to the front of the store. Ya sure okay maybe if you weren't so rude about it. I left my cart at the cart spot on the other side of the parking lot as did others as we walked out. She's basically screaming at people I have tried to call store directly and can't so ill leave my message here. As I sit here typing she has yelled at many people to return the cart.

If using PC express at this store, check your receipt and make sure all items are there! This store regularly improperly labels bags for pickup. They sometimes don’t label the bags at all, so you have to search for your items. This sometimes results in being charged for items which you don’t end up getting. It’s difficult to reach a person when calling the store about this issue, which means we have often had to return in person to sort it out. Really disappointing.

Went to Grants No Frills in Kingston on March 25/20 and the cashier wiped the area were your groceries go and the debit machine after each customer. Thank you to the employees for keeping me safe. Went to Bath Road No Frills in Kingston the same day and the cashier who served me did not wipe anything down. Company policy should be the same every store.

I find at the store the milk racks are all coated in rotten milk it's just sad I got to have 2 half gallons of milk on Friday both of them were sour and they were marked for the 26th of April course I couldn't take them back because I told him the receipt out and the milk was bad and I had to have it all weekend so I threw it out not good for the public

Classic Bait scam. Bought No name brand marble cheese shelf price said $4.97 When I got home, the receipt said $8.67 This always happens at any lawblaws run establishment. They can play it off as an honest mistake, but this is clearly a scam and dishonest tactic to hurt customers. Happens to me every time I shop there. They mislabel the shelf price or put the wrong product in the wrong shelf space. Impossible for the customer to know until they check their receipt and they hope people won't bother returning to the store, which who really has the time to do. We are aware of this scam you are running and we won't accept it, karma has everyone's address and all the time in the world to strike.

I find ALOT of times the products are picked over, the vegetables are rotten (or near well rotten they dont last) their meat department is also usually so picked over with limited options. Personally i find this store aggravating so i try to avoid it. I give it 3 stars for the employees that a generally very pleasant and willing to help

The staff are outstanding and very caring. When the pandemic began they were extremely careful with all that they did and continue to do. Cashiers always washed everything down between customers and wait until the customer they are checking out is gone before bringing a new customer up to the cash. I believe they have the best protocol of all other grocery stores in Kingston. Thank you to each and every one who works there!

I love going to no frills, but only when it isn't busy. It can get pretty cheek by jowl. The produce is excellent and varied. There are usually great deals for when you are restocking your monthly purchases like paper products. Recently they've added an organic section that contains rice products, almond milk, cereals etc. The staff are friendly and the store is very clean. Of course, you can save on your budget. Great store!

What a time to need a few items from the grocery store. It was quite busy. The best thing I noticed was pleasant staff, both stocking shelves as well as cashing customers out. Another thing I noticed was a staff member making sure the store had plenty of carts in front as opposed to most being in the parking lot return areas as well as politely waiting while several people got/returned a cart as he was trying to bring a new load in. This was one of my best shopping experiences ever.

Reviews are always subjective, but in instances I have encountered: I had purchased chicken wings one time and they had went bad, not even close to expiry date on pkg. Milk has been spoiled a few times. Their veggies rarely look fresh or close to fresh, same with their meats. I find their store need an overhaul of cleaning. You use to be able to use your own visa. Now that they changed over to president's choice the only choice is debit or you have to sign up for PC visa, or already have one. I find prices have went up a lot, almost Loblaw prices. Myself and my food allergies do appreciate how they added in more organic/ natural food section varieties with their own isle.

I am a recipient of ODSP and it is supposed to have an agreement with ODSP for incontinent pads (depends) for me. This store is quite far from my residence and tissue is the 2nd time I've driven out there for nothing. I can not not afford the gas money to go on field trips. The pharmacist bluntly said " come on a week day" and walked away from me which was rather RUDE I can get treated liked that any other store in Kingston . Somehow I made the mistake of presuming this new refreshing store would be different. I guess I was wrong!!!!!!

I've been shopping from Grant's No Frills since it was downtown Napanee and I can't complain about any of his stores operations over all those years. That's saying a lot about a place!! Pleasant enough staff for the most part. Decent selection, quality and prices keep me happy and coming back. First exit door is my only real complaint as I feel like I am driving a big rig through an alley as I manoeuvre my cart outside. It'd be nice to know help were available for those that struggle to do their own shopping.

The fruits and veggies are not fresh. I moved from the west from around finch thinking it was going to be a great grocery store to go to but I was wrong. I will just stick with freshco since all no frills are starting to be slack and have nasty fruits and veggies that are not fresh. Or maybe it's just Toronto area that has gross fruits and veggies. Brampton, just probably has better quality than these areas. Also, just because we are around the beach doesn't mean you have to sky rocket the prices on meat. That's stupid. Half a pack shouldn't be 10 bucks for any type of meat. The large packs shouldn't be cheaper which is sad. Other way, I'll travel far to get my groceries and not spend an arm and a leg on groceries at a cheap grocery store company that sky rockets their prices depending on the area you live in. It's just bullshit.

Average selection of groceries, but the packaged salad greens in produce is always underwhelming. There are always some special deals to shop for here which is always nice. Overall, cheaper than other grocery stores in Kingston. I am rewriting my past review because the staff that work here are great. The cashiers are super kind and friendly!

Not a bad grocery store. Prices here were good. However only 2 cashiers working on a Friday night when it was super busy made it a long wait at cash.
