Very knowledgeable staff. Sometimes more so than the doctors who prescribe. The staff who work here are so helpful and are definitely in the know when it comes to prescribed medications. They know their stuff. I can feel secure in asking for information on any medication....be it on the phone or in person they will be extremely helpful. Thanks Costco Pharmacy!

This has to be like the most unprofessional pharmacy ever. I have been a Costco member for more than a decade although the store customer service is awesome the pharmacy staff is useless. I wanted to get some medication and I was hoping to get my medics transferred over to this location however they just don't even care. Talking to them on the phone just gives me a headache. Like I know it's tough with Covid and all but at least you can provide your customers with some decent customer service.

I transferred my prescriptions to Costco pharmacy a few years ago. The customer service I had at the Safeway Pharmacy on division was shockingly bad and I figured it might be cheaper at Costco. Not only was it significantly cheaper, the customer service is EXCELLENT. Despite the fact that they are usually very busy, I have been treated with respect and care at the Costco Pharmacy. They strive to ensure customers are informed about their prescriptions and accommodating when prescriptions haven’t been faxed by following through with the physicians office. I treat them with respect and understanding, and they do the same for me.

One of the busiest pharmacy, however one of the most organized with knowledgeable pharmacists and supports stuff. I have all my doctors send my prescription there for many years and the have never disappointed. They speak multiple language for people that speak English as a second language. They are patient and deal with diverse client base with different prescribed requirements! They never disappoint! The management ( manager) it is awesome and not only at the pharmacy ... Costco At Laird it is well managed!

Worst service I have ever received from a pharmacy. One our and thirty minutes wait, staff was rude, made mistakes with the order, there was a huge line up and one person taking care of the line. I thought that the Costco customer service standards should be followed by their pharmacy, but it clearly isn't. Not even a "I am sorry for making you wait this long". Not sure it makes a lot of difference for them, but they have one less customer now.

Recently started using this pharmacy location, got entered as a new user, they asked for all the info and insurance details. When we picked up the prescription, they did not even attempt to charge the insurance and we paid the full amount. Now we have to claim it ourselves, when in the past the pharmacy would submit the claim on behalf of the patient. Its very frustrating since they didnt even mention "oh btw we did not charge your insurance". So be careful if you do have coverage. As a tip, the dispensing fee at this location is $4.49 per drug which is one benefit at costco.

Dispensing fee is cheaper than most but the prices of medication can be higher so at the end not really saving anything. Instead wasting more time for pick-up and no customer service since too busy i.e. don't answer phone and if do, do not have time to investigate. No delivery either.

manager was disciplining a staff just after 11am in regards to a large item passing her on the wrong day, it was suppose to be picked-up saturday. the discipline was really really loud! 20 plus customers heard the whole thing including me and a friend. more than a few ppl were talking about how bad it was. After hearing her yell for 5 minutes I never heard one actionable item to help the employee. the purpose of the loud discipline was to make the employee feel bad.

I switched to Costco Pharmacy several years ago. I brought in the prescriptions I was taking and had them price them all out. Switching saved me on average 30% on my prescriptions. Service is great and it is z great excuse to grab a hot dog.:)

In store = good service, friendly folks, generally profesh. With one or two exceptions upon pick-up, when the line is clearly getting long and only one person is there, and that person doesn't manage the customer well to do a good but quick turnover of customers. 4 of 5 stars Phone = 0 stars. Tried calling today, and someone just picked up and put it back in the receiver on purpose just to have the phone stop ringing. Utterly unprofessional. And after a long wait at that. 0 of 5 stars.

Was informed twice (once from pharmacy automated message, once from the pharmacist while on the phone) that we can go straight to the pharmacy without waiting in line since we're there only for the prescription pickup. However, when we get to the entrance the workers there have us to wait in the line. It's very unpleasant when especially my toddler was accompanied. Make all employees informed about your policy!!!!

I would have given them negative ratings but can't do this. I was calling the pharmacy. The phone was ringing and no one was willing to answer. At my fourth call, they picked and placed the cradle at the side without talking to me. The phone was on the table for 8 minutes and 21 seconds. I was surprised with this kind of attitude from a pharmacy (people responsible for our health). I wanted to record my complain. I drove over, talked to the store manager and pharmacy manager. They both mentioned that they will investigate. Hopefully, they will change this kind of attitude with customers who are calling them for medicines. May be someone is in high need or severely sick.

They either need more staffing hours, or a better organization system at this Costco pharmacy. I have been coming here for 3 years and consistently experience mistakes with what medication is filled, how much is filled, insurance filing, even fax troubles getting prescriptions from my doctor's office! It's forgivable when it's not as consistently awful, but something needs to change. I also cannot get through on the phone 3 out of 4 times (in order to ensure that they've actually filled the right medication in the right amount for me before I go pick it up). To top it off, trying to get a parking spot during any time that is not "dead" is so frustrating that I will actually take a bus or walk rather then drive to this location (even though that means I won't be able to pick up other items while I am there). Costco is a such a great store overall, but this location REALLY needs help from corporate or... something! I don't know how this has gone on for so long.

The pharmacy has been a real issue at this place. They keep losing scripts for starters. I started new meds recently (lithium), and all the pharmacist told me was "it can make you drowsy" (which it doesn't, btw). Not what happens if you happen to get a lithium imbalance (which can be deadly if not addressed IMMEDIATELY). Didn't tell me -how- to address an imbalance immediately. Not what consumables will effect it. I've had to learn all the ins and outs of this medication from the internet and from my family members that also take it. I'm going to be switching pharmacies... get better pharmacists.

Poor customer service. I had to use them because they are a preferred pharmacy for my insurance company and for the specific medication I take. Been with them for 6 months and EVERY month there has been an issue with my prescription. So many people behind the counter, but no one knows what is going on. It is so frustrating! I have complained to my insurance provider about this.

I requested for refill on June 25, 2019 for my medicine. However, from three boxes of medicine, Costco pharmacy gave me one wrong box of medicine. When I got home and want to take this medicine, I notice something was wrong, and it turned out one box of the medicine was wrong. I could not imagine, if I took it that day, probably I would not be alive right now. I went back to Costco pharmacy, and showed them what they did, and complained. They only said "Sorry about that" lightly, and she wanted to let the manager know about it. That's it. So, be careful when buying medicine from this Costco pharmacy. I submitted the prescription at 18:50, but until 20:00, the medicine I wanted to refill had not even been ready. What were they doing? And when it was ready, they gave me a wrong one, until I noticed it at home. It is very dangerous to buy medicines at this Costco pharmacy unless you pay full attention what you are getting.

Not trans friendly. This is an amazing pharmacy. They generally have lower prices if you dont have insurance and the pharmacists really seem to care. Victor and Jones have really shown that they have a desire to take care of their customers. Over the past 7 months, i have had 3 seperate issues with prescriptions ranging from wrong doseages to having them just completely missed. Always hormones. I dont know if its phobia or negligence. But i will be seeking a different pharmacy for HRT from now on. After 3 years with them, the only issues i have ever had where hormone related.

Staff is not very nice.. we were there for prescription medication and there was some confusion on the bill prepared so we asked for little help the lady first reacted like we are asking huge favour .. rolling eyes for no reason, and then asked us to wait (and she walked away from the counter for 10 min) came back and says we need to wait till she finished all the others in line.. however people in line were ok to wait but she was not.. very rude act for nothing.. will never use pharmacy here.. we walked without explaination.. other costco locations are better for pharmacy like ajax and Scarbrough.

I love, love shopping at Costco. Returns are never a problem but the pharmacy is just not good. Orders are wrongly filled for quantities but not due to government or covid19 restrictions. Assured call backs never once happened. That may be whether a doctor ok'd or faxed a prescription in and it's ready for pickup. What's keeps me coming back are their dispensing fees and pharmaceutical prices.

Absolute bad customer service, employee get upset really easily at customers, not recommended to anyone looking for a happy greeting. They force you to buy a large quantity of drugs even when you ask for less. Common sense you do not need a years supply while you only will get to choose to buy it all or they will refuse your business elsewhere the taller black gentleman will initiate a argument and even raise his voice at you tell you even when he’s in the wrong. Don’t ever go here you get what you pay. The worst pharmacy place to buy in Lethbridge.

What a great place this is. I can't say enough good about it! Good place to work from all I hear, too. Also just checked out dispensing fees all over this town and Costco is LESS THAN HALF of what most others charge in this town. Unbelievable! And they give such great service, no matter what your problem might be.

Terrible experience. It is so wrong in any level of services at this location. 1. Every lines of service are so slow. 2. They can't simply update information correctly. I changed my insurance and address and asked them to update all my family member but they didn't do it properly. 3. The person who did my order did it wrong and changed the prescription dosage, good thing that the pharmacist noticed it otherwise I can't imagine what the problem will be. I am sure they filled it wrong because I had read the paper before handed over. 4. I have 3 orders and he could not even bring them all together in 1 basket. He had to go back to find the missing order. 5. The pharmacist haven't finished servicing me yet he went to the next customers. He noticed something was wrong with one of my perscription and asked me to call my doctor for him to confirm. While I was calling he went to service the next person while having my Dr waiting on the phone. While I am grateful that he caught the mistake but it is unacceptable that my Dr and I have to wait while he did not complete order. ***I will never use costco pharmacy service again. I would rather pay a higher cost at my local pharmacy to get a much better service that I can't trust. If you must use them, take a picture of your prescription and compare with your order. Can't trust them.

This is the terrible Costco pharmacy. When I present a manufacturer coupon to purchase OTC, they said they don’t have this. Then I said you have this on the shelf. Then they said only accept Costco coupon.

Careless pharmacists/cashiers. They do not check properly if the Rx medicine is covered by the insurance. They do a typo or something like that and give up saying that it is not covered. Because of their carelessness I had to manually submit claims to the insurance company and submit bills for me and my spouse via paper mail and this took more than 2 months of time. They are just utter careless. They dont care how they get their money and do not care about patient at all.

This place frusterates me - and it's only this location's pharmacy. The phone is always busy and doesn't even let you in to select an option and when isn't so busy that you at least get the machine, they never answer the phone and the machine ends with "Goodbye"! I have tried for a week to get in touch with the pharmacist, and every time before that it's the same situation. I tested another location just to see if it was all Costco pharmacies or not, low and behold that location didn't even have a machine, within the first ring someone answered! I don't understand.

Got appointment for tire installation. When dropping off my car, I am told it takes minimum 2.5 hours, I say ok, its my day off. After 2 and half hours, my simple 15 min job is not done so I go get some food. Its raining outside so I go next to carts I am trying to eat and this Karen comes up and tells me to go eat in the rain. I tell her that that I may stay here for another hour, and I am fully vaxxed. This lady says that is none of her business. Mind you the no one is nearby.

Fantastic prices, terrible service. 3rd time going to pick up a prescription only to find out that they don't have it. 3rd time asking why they didn't call me to let me know. 3rd time being told that according to the notes, they did. No call, no missed calls, showed them my phone history, got the "I don't know, I wasn't here" response. Had them call my number while I stood there to ensure that they had the correct number, even after verifying it each time this has happened, it rang no problem. Shouldn't have to explain that if they actually make the call instead of just noting that they did, it would be a much less frustrating experience. I can understand if this happened once, but three times?! What should have been a 10 min visit to pick up a prescription took an hour. Shopping at Costco...awesome! Doing returns at Costco...simple! Picking up a prescription...the worst part about going to Costco. Unfortunately, I can't switch due to my drug plan. :( !

Day by day getting worse service, they charge $4.49 fees to give frustrations to patient. Last incident was they changed tablet 8mg to 16mg but didn't let us know, also there was 20 days supply less.but no instructions. Had couple of bad experience and frustration.

Best Costco in Kingston is a very good Costco it's spacious well laid out and has a lots of in-store specials always. The staff that work here are very friendly and very helpful and guiding you to what you're looking for. The store is always neat and tidy inside and out. Although it is a very busy store there was always lots of great parking.

I've been using the pharmacy for the past 8 years now. What wonderful service. Yes line ups are long but its costco so come on. Plus they have lowest dispensing fee. The workers are all friendly, and efficient. Gail, in particular is amazing also able to answer questions and has great knowledge. I would highly recommend this pharmacy.

I was quite surprised when I called for information today, we have been Costco members for over a decade but have never made use of their pharmacy. Our current pharmacy waives the co-pay on all of our prescriptions but apparently Costco pharmacy does not. Apparently having a Costco membership doesn’t come with any perks when it comes to filling prescriptions. If your family owned pharmacy is kind enough to waive the co-pay, stay with them.

The dispensing fees and med prices are great! The staff has always been pleasent, especially the cashiers. Recently, however, I have had to deal with one VERY unpleasant pharmacist. Make sure you don't have any questions about your meds or dispensing to avoid any eye rolls.

Just before Christmas, I was travelling from London to the Ottawa area to spend the holidays with family. I realized when near Oshawa that I had forgotten 2 different drops that I use for a serious eye issue. I called the Costco London North pharmacy, to see if there was any way they could send my prescriptions to a pharmacy along my travel route. They were kind, helpful, respectful, and considerate of the stresses I was under. Not wanting to backtrack 6 hours, delaying holidays, missing out on family time. The London store coordinated the transfer of information to the Kingston store, and the medications were ready as I walked into the (very busy) store. I've always liked & appreciated the service at Costco pharmacies, but the 2 stores made me feel so assured, a valued customer, they just wanted to (and did) make things so easy for me. Thank you to the staff at both locations.
