My daughter and I had a very similar experience as to JJ‘s review below. Luke rolled his eyes immediately when we showed up. We had several parcels (10 small express post) to send within Canada, something we do every Christmas through Canada Post, and have never had a issue. We arrived at the store at 4:20 (closed at 5pm). Our thoughts were coming near the end of the day would be quieter. The store was dead. Time was not a issue as we were out of there by 4:45 and would of been done earlier if it wasn’t for my daughters hands shaking and tears coming down while filling out the parcels. If the number of packages we were shipping needed to be filled out elsewhere due to time or space in the building, we would have had no issue taking the packages home or to our car to fill in. However, from the owner’s initial sighs, eye rolls, and sarcasm, and then the condescending messages that were delivered to me and my daughter from the young curly haired lady, we immediately felt uncomfortable. From there it was nothing but rude comments and attitude. There is a way to communicate any COVID protocols kindly, but the attitude at this store by both Luke and the female with curly hair, Chelsea (who we later found out are owners of the store), was honestly appalling. We felt bullied. I called after our experience to talk to the manager, instead of writing a negative review, and was shocked and almost humoured when I found out the man that served us, Luke, was the owner. On the phone call he stood by that they were following COVID protocols and took no responsibility or gave an apology for the way we were treated. We had just moved to Quail Ridge and we’re very excited about all the local businesses that this Pharmasave includes in their shop - however due to the treatment we received we have and will never shop there or use the postal service again. We make the extra drive to Glenmore Shoppers where we are treated with kindness and respect.
In addition, a few months later my daughter had to go in as a package had been left at that postal location for pickup. While she was in there an elderly man with a cane was sending what looked like books. He was struggling to hold them with his cane and she watched as he was given the exact same attitude by Chelsea and Luke. The elderly man looked distressed from the situation.
We are both very disturbed and bothered by the way the two owners treat everyday people.
