It's a super market and has food, clothing, electronics and toys. Diner and lunches to go, sushi, bakery, deli, magazines, flowers, seasonal goods (shovels, gazebos and BBQ, etc). They also offer the option to do your grocery online and you simply pick it up.

Always long line ups, too many sales requiring you buy in quantity. Really grinds my gears. I walk out half the time. Their isle signs also force you to walk around the store. That sign placement works for them, not the customer.

Atlantic Superstore Halifax waterfront is ideally sized to have all the food and other items we need all at the best price. The store is clean, staff are friendly and knowledgeable. Their bakery section and cakes especially is fantastic and prices are very reasonable. Produce area is large and items were of high quality. Lots of instore sales and checking out was a breeze with many options from self checkout to numerous lanes open. The pre-made food section for when you have no or limited time to cook is full of options to make life easier while still tasting homemade. Check out the chicken parmesan. Ample parking with a liquor store attached to Superstore. Dont forget the gas bar in the parking lot...earn points for filling up. When paying get lots of points with your PC bank card or PC Mastercard. Points equal free groceries quickly.

The experience was quite enjoyable, the service was all around pretty good (as I went to every checkout stand and bought something), if you ever make it to this establishment on a Tuesday ask for Mike. The cleanliness is very good, considering how big the store is, and the bathrooms are quite well kept, my visit was all together very good, it is a great place to get your grocery's.

I am a lifelong superstore customer and generally appreciate this chain for its grocery selection and points program. But this particular branch has awful customer service. A week ago a friend and I went to get groceries but found that pallets were blocking the bike parking. When we let the customer service reps know they said they would deal with it. I went back this week and instead of making sure there was accessible and adequate bike parking, they simply removed the bike parking altogether. This is regressive and tells me that Atlantic superstore does not value my business. Until this branch gets their act together I’ll be biking over to Sobeys where I can safely park. PS: front-wheel parking does not work, get bike parking that allows for locking to the frame, seriously look at how the rest of the city does bike parking.

This used to be my main grocery store before I moved to the North End, but sometimes I still come to the Main Street location just because I love the layout of this store much better than Trinity Drive. I find they have better selections of home & kitchen products, home decor, and Joe Fresh clothes too. Sometimes when I go there are empty rows of produce or not the freshest produce available, but the good outweighs the bad here. I also love accumulating PC plus points and find it easy to do so. Terrible service. Any questions we asked were met with a shrug and half hearted answer. They had a small selection of salads and none of them were fresh looking or had any real redeeming qualities. Their deli's food was overcooked and they didn't offer any extras (napkins or sauce) and had them hidden in an inaccessible spot. The store also looked old and looks like it hasn't been upgraded or redecorated in almost 10 years. Just seemed like a bargain supermarket and low selection.

When their sales happen they're fantastic but this store has been almost constantly under construction since I moved here and it still looks awful. Hard to navigate sometimes but some of the cashiers care enough to offer some level of customer service. A few do not, however, so if that's a deal breaker for you shop somewhere else. The parking lot is hilariously confusing, so be prepared to deal with that, too. Vegetable aisle is a little dubious, watch for wilts, spots and mold. But the selection is big, which makes up for it.

Store is amazingly designed, and you can get almost everything (grocery) here at one stop fresh and great with Parking option available anytime. All vegetables and fruits are so fresh. Fresh and huge selection of meats, apples, cakes. I gave 4 star- may be in future there will be a full section of more home necessities like lamps, clothing hanging equipments and more wall clocks n so on. ALSO, I am impressed with there 1 hour special openings for seniors and also they took all the steps to aware people about sanitizing hands. Even the upper level management are so friendly. *Store manager : Terry is wonderful person and takes care of every individual. I happened to witness him personally going to them and advising all emoloyees to follow clean protocols to fight against COIVD19.

Visited this particular Super Store to shop for some grocery items, I needed to visit the washroom. Considering the enormity of the store I was advised there were only two washrooms for the public to use. Each washroom had a single occupancy, and a considerable wait to use. I don’t know what the municipality’s rules are regarding the necessary amount of washrooms required for a venue of this size, however what I had to endure as an eighty rear old senior, was disgraceful.

The produce is more selective but i have come home with many a rotten fruit at the bottom on a bulk fruit container. Cashiers are not helpful in any way if you bring your own bags and will pile all your food and may spoil your chips and bread items. This can be very anxiety inducing experience.

My go-to place for authentic Chinese sauces and ingredients. Happy they carry T&T brand Asian foods as well as the best Chinese dumplings in the freezer section. Overall, the store is clean and well organized. Also like the clearance items and foods you can get and save in the freezer. One downside is that I find the produce isn't always the best quality and can be expensive.

Our 2nd visit to this store since moving here. First visit we were surprised to find out at the cashier that certain fruits (cantaloupe and pears) were sold by weight contrary to the other grocery stores in the area. You're attracted by the posted price, but in small print it shows by weight. On my second visit to purchase only a bag coffee beans, I arrive at the cashier and ask her to pay the coffee beans with my PC Points, but am told that to use $20 of my points I had to purchase for more than $20. If I made past purchases and accumulate money (points) I should have the freedom of utilizing them when I see fit, not the store. Needless to say I will find a way to spend my last PC Points before switching to another store in the area, as I do have a great selection of them.

The store is quite clean and well organized, and they often have good discounts. They still seem to be rearranging and reorganizing quite a bit as they adapt to the community and covid standards. Sometimes there's inconsistencies in stock. They offer a 10% student discount on Tuesdays, and I highly suggest avoiding it for that reason. It's nuts.

I frequent Superstore for many items I won't or can't get at Sobeys. The only thing I must go to Sobeys for is the large Bag of Canadian Wild Blueberries for $13.. and my favorite snack: Greek yogurt with nuts and berries.(about $5) But Superstore has the freshest produce and much cheaper prices.... plus nothing beats PC points. The last year or so since they created the PC app, I now collect and redeem more often in one month than I do with Air miles in one year. ????

I am extremely pleased with this superstore location. As a student who frequently shops on Tuesdays to get their student discount combined with pccpoints, it's not uncommon for us to save 30$ per visit. This location is fully stocked with a natural foods section, massive selection of greens and vegetables and frequent deals. It's objectively cheaper than Sobeys as well. Parking is good and there is a great selve kiosk section that keeps the lines down too.

I refilled the water here, there was no lid available for the bottle, I sought assistance from a crew who told me to look for the manager ("I think I know the manager"), when I couldn't find it, they sent me to the customer service and I asked again for the lid, a crew told me to just put a plastic bag on the bottle so that it has a lid! .. Because the Lid is reusable, I can't figure out why it's reusable .. But the many used Lids which was thrown there in the pouch. They gave me one so I shouldn't throw it away because they only have two stocks .. Thanks for the info ..
