Fillied a prescription which would only take 24 to 48 hrs max. No one calls. Dealing with severe pain. They pressed on getting paid for my prescription making sure my coverage was gonna pay but yet when it comes to having my prescription and making sure a customer gets their medication they really are slow and don’t care about patients. Who are these dark feeling people working there. I’m very disappointed and furious cause they made me wait. What are they getting paid for if they are no doing their job properly.

First time bought a children’s acetaminophen suspension from this place and notice the medicine is expired in august. 3years old child got side effects( allergies) after having med when my sister inform them that a medicine is expired and child got allergic the counter person very rude with them ( my. This is a rare apology as most Langley Health service providers will NEVER apologize and are insistent and consistent in their policy of systemic racism against Indigenous clients who are regularly provided with poor Health services and options and deliberately and openly made to feel ashamed of their indigenous health coverage. It has been well documented that BC ER rooms and hospitals regularly discriminate against Indigenous clients as they assume that all Indigenous patients are drug addicts, alcoholics, and so on. On the contrary, the facts and reality speak for themselves: most drug addicts, alcoholics, criminals, homeless, domestic abusers and so on, in the Langley area, are infact White people, not Indigenous, not people of color nor Asians.

Prescriptions are usually filled within 15 minutes at the most. In all of my experiences, they have been filled in under 5 minutes if all paperwork is correct. I can not praise their services and kindness enough. It may be a small pharmacy but it is certainly the best around.

I have been coming to the Medicine Shoppe in New Glasgow for 2 years. If you are used to 30 minutes to an hour wait time then you should strongly consider changing your pharmacy. Friendly, knowledgeable and very efficient staff will have your prescription completed in a fraction of the time. The longest I have waited for an in-store refill has been 10-15 minutes.

She runs this pharmacy along with Yaser. She made a very big deal about me getting my medication weekly because they were not recieving the enough momey as they would if I got my meds every two weeks or daily. Also refusing to deliver because of that. They also offer money to those recieve medication daily or as they want as an incentive to help them make more money. Beware of this couple/pharmacy. They will put money before your health. Also not following your doctors instruction even if it effects your sobriety or mental health. They are ruthless. Asking you to go to your work and friends or anyone to bring in more customers. Basically drug dealers to me.

I have been a customer since they opened 15 to 20 years ago (sorry, can't remember exactly how long they've been open). Jon, Joy & Joanne were the originals so when Riaz, et al came on board, I was worried if the service would be the same. All of the staff is amazing, going above and beyond for my son & I!! I would & have recommend/recommended The Medicine Shoppe to anyone who has asked me where to find a really good pharmacy.

The one bigger lady with dark hair gives the worst customer service her name is Alisha and tries refusing help to people whenever she can and claims it's the store policy but then the next day a diffrent staff member will do it for you without a problem. She treats customers like they are infectious diseases and will even refuse to touch their pen after they used it but will gladly take their germ filled money though. She even picks up certain items that customers may have touched with a rolled up paper so she doesn't have to touch them with her bare hands. Oh and another thing when I get a weeks worth of my prescription they make me sign my name 14 times in a row on a form 14 times!!! and Alicia will comb through every signature to make sure they all look identical. My new pharmacy only makes my sign my name once for the exact same medication. This place is truely a degrading experience and a very unprofessional pharmacy. Today I use Lorne street drugs and they are a much better place with a great staff.

This has been my go to place since living in the area. The pharmacist and all the staff has always been great, until today. My prescription is a 30 day refill. So after taking the medication on the 30th day AM, I would pick up that afternoon/evening, so I would be able to continue the same routine starting 1st thing in the morning, uninterrupted. Today, I was absolutely refused by a Becky. Yes, my prescription is filled for every 30 days, but was needed for the morning. For that reason, I have switched pharmacy's. Routine is needed for a continuous prescription.

AVOID THIS PLACE!!!! I would give 0 stars if I could. I came for my COVID-19 booster shot and I noticed that the technician still had his gloves on from the prior patient. I waited to see if he would remove his dirty gloves from the last patient, clean his hands and apply new gloves for me, per BC Public health protocol. He did not. I had to ASK him to change his gloves before treating me. I spoke with Fiona, the manager, and she told me their policy is to use HAND SANITIZER on the GLOVES between patients because their skin is getting irritated from the frequent glove changes. I am a health professional and my hands get irritated as well, but I have found ways to deal with it. I would expect a pharmacy to follow proper protocol during a pandemic.

Went into a huge hassle of rebooking and when contacted them they simply say it take at least 24 hours but in our case it took more than 48 hours. Not even willing to give one star.

I gave him my medical number - which no other pharmacy I called today asked for - he made me repeat it three times while he kept saying "hold on" after. Since day 1 about 8 yrs ago, I was referred to them and at the time it was a convenient location for me as I worked in the same strip mall. I CANT WAIT TO GET BACK TO MY OLD PHARMACY. Ive been on my medications for over 5 years and never once have I encountered such rude, ignorant & degrading lack of customer service. I will be taking my business else where to say the least. Some of these people should NOT have their jobs. I urge you to file a complaint against them if you've had a similiar experience. I'm honestly floored at the bad service I have been getting over the past month of just trying to get one set of prescriptions filled. I still don't have all the meds they owe me. I have experienced very poor communication and problem solving skills, poor customer service, an inability to count the right number of pills, and no record-keeping of the pills they owe me when they didn't have enough. My friend and I have exposed ourselves unnecessarily during the Covid outbreak to visit this pharmacy multiple times in an attempt to get my medication fully filled.
