Pure,pure management. We were running around to find shopping cart for about 15 min. Shelve were not restocked. Super store- superslow service. So much time wasted. And, as a result, we were behind on our plans for the day. Please, do something. Respect valuable time of your customers.

This store is huge. There was a sale on clothing while we were there. The prices were unbelievable! Cheaper than second hand. The meat section is not the greatest business technology produce is good with a nice sized organic section. They also have live crab and lobster. I would recommend.

UPDATE MARCH 2021* Greeter with no greeting! No sanitizer at door or clean carts. Message playing over PA stating some are exempt and to be patient and social distance. * Very happy to shop here! Awesome experience AND on a busy Saturday morning so extra kudos. One gentleman was greeting people at the door, another young man was wiping down buggies and yet another pretty lady was wiping down baskets ???????????? All staff/team were friendly and saying hello. Cashier: Lani was efficient, so friendly and caring. Great experience, Thank you for all you do!

The number one place to do all my shopping in one spot they have a huge variety of household items food, clothes and much more.Plus I collect optimum points and earn money for my next purchase just by shopping and using my optimum card and if you like to save and get amazing deals on everything in the store then I suggest you try the Superstore and they are very strict on social distancing and face masks on in the store upon entry....They also have P.C. banking right in the store which ties into more optimum points for you to earn.

The Deli needs to really work on there communication between the young man and two older ladies work this morning around 9/930. There were two older ladies completely ignoring us and had NO communication as to let us, the customers that pay there wage, know that someone would be there to help us in a bit. Instead the young man had to walk over from the otherside of the deli after looking at both older women that were ignoring us. He came over to help us but had to wait for one of the women took the meat and did her work that had NOTHING to do with helping customers service or to help speed up the process at all. I am NOT impressed at all. A negative score would have been better for the deli this morning. The one star goes to the young man that helped us and not the two older ladies

I don’t like how you only get points on certain items whereas at shoppers drug mart they give you points on almost all your purchases. I’m a big fan of the joe fresh clothing line though - it makes it kind of fun to do grocery shopping when you can also shop for some new clothes lol

Had a COVID incident at this store where a customer, not wearing a mask, not social distancing, deliberately coughed on me. Reported to Customer Service, they said they couldn't do anything. Emailed head office 3 times. No response (it's been 3 weeks). I saw in the news, 4 days later the same customer, had spit on an employee at another store! Perhaps if Superstore had taken this concern seriously, this individual wouldn't have continued his dangerous behaviour. Also witnessed customers pulling their masks down under their chin, leaning over customer service desk to talk to staff. Staff do not have adequate PPE to keep them safe. I would avoid this store during the pandemic, as they don't keep their employees or customers safe enough. Not surprisingly there have been COVID cases at this store.

Location definitely meets the Superstore standard in every way. Staff are unfailingly polite though the mandatory "Would you be interested in our Deal of the Week?" question is incredibly annoying. Good selection of every class of food items (fruits, veggies, meats, breads, dairy, desserts, etc...) and reasonable prices — and occasionally a few really good deals . Pharmacy staff available until 9pm most nights. Underground parking is available and typically high availability.

I'm guessing this is NOT the till person but direction from management ????

Every time I've gone into this store, I find it impossible to see the amazing deals they advertise. They definitely do have some lower priced items, the small clothing section is especially inexpensive. I would definitely say that 95% of the store is at a higher price point than Walmart, and the selection is limited by comparison. The largest positives about this store is parking and the insurance office. The underground parking is large and underutilized, which allows for ample parking almost all the time. And the insurance agent inside the store create some excellent convenience around insurance time.

There is quite a variety of plants, shrubs, flowers, herbs, and vegetables to buy for planting. They too have great prices. There also is plenty of parking, and wheelchair accessible .

I love superstore, it's my main grocery store. I have celiac disease, and this store has what I call a "Green Isle" where vegan, dairy free, gluten free, and just plain healthy food options are located. Excellent selection, easy to find everything I need in one spot. I love how much parking there is, on top and underground.

We were evacuated from the November 15th merritt bc flood and had vouchers to use in Kamloops at superstore and the staff really made it alot better and kept our spirits lifted. Nice, clean, tidy store. You can find almost everything you need here. Not so easy to find a parking spot, as it'sa popular place. It's also not very convenient when it comes to store hours. And that is with most grocery stores in Kelowna. We moved from Burnaby, whefe Superstore was open 6AM to midnight. Here, is not easy to get groceries if you need something for kids' breakfast, brfore you send kids to school. Also, not open too late, so if you come from work late, not a chance to buy something... But the staff is friendly and the produce are fresh. I love the flowers on pots too. And the sales on vegetables. Unbeatable.

On a positive note, the produce and non-perishable selections here are better than most grocery stores in Kelowna. But this only in terms of the number of items available for a given product. That said, however, there is a major disappointment almost every time we shop here because there is always more than one produce item completely out of stock, which is extremely disappointing every time. The most upsetting thing about Superstore is the insulting, decomposing and dumpster-worthy produce that is frequently for sale. Below are some pictures of a bin of peppers that were for sale, and it was the best price I've seen for decaying produce... but the peppers were absolute garbage and weren't even worthy of being donated to a shelter. Aside from this well-priced bin of compost peppers, when a produce item is marked down for quick sale at this Superstore location in specific (and BC Superstores in general), it is only marked to 30% off. In other provinces that I've lived in and/or shopped at, reduced produce items are 50% off. And to make it better, they aren't worthy of throwing straight into a dumpster. Quite the opposite! Other Supstores reduce produce when it is still perfectly edible!!! Imagine that! So to sum it, step up your game, Superstore Kelowna, and stop insulting your customers with produce fit for the sewer.

This review is for Dominos Pizza, not Superstore... Google fail. ...I have no problems with teenagers working in this place. But they need an adult supervisor. Last time I went in to pick up two pizzas my girlfriend had ordered earlier. First they couldn't find the order. Then they found it but claimed it had never been made. Tried to hand me one small pizza. Turns out my order was right behind them the whole time. These kids need a leader to pull them together! The pizzas were fine though

I just moved here from Abbotsford. I did the click and collect. I noticed there were six cars parked there so I called in and thinking I had time to run in, the lady on the phone let me know there is actually no one ahead of me and sometimes people just park there. I was glad that she was able to tell me that as I was expecting to wait a long time with many people ahead of me. The staff seem very kind.

Some areas were short-stocked (no regular eggs, only more expensive brown and organic ones, and no two-liter milk jugs were the shortages that I noticed), and I found the self-checkout signage a bit confusing (the line goes down an aisle but isn't very clearly marked). Great location, close to many other amenities and Thompson Rivers University. Good choices for ethnic grocery needs and most regular needs. Parking can be a challenge but there is extensive underground parking that offers only a short walk up to the entrance of Superstore.

Unlike most shopping stores they do not charge $3 or more per item lately. The shelves were stocked and there were a lot of deals. It isn't as stressful getting the grocery bill as places like save on foods which charge $2 to $4 extra per same brand items. I wish that they would add back in a deal for buying a certain amount at the till. I do not like being rushed bagging with a large grocery shop.

Went to the kelowna location at 820pm Sunday October 10th 2021. The shopping experience was fine, i went to lane 10 or 11 and the lady at the till "leslie" asked me why I wasn't wearing a mask . I politely responded with " I have medical issues , and my doctor has recommended I dont wear one " and she responded with "NO YOU DONT " in a rude manner . Very unprofessional. I asked her what her name was and she ignored me , I was able to see her name tag before leaving. I expect more from a giant corporation like this .

Long time customer. Went to go refill my prescription today. They had some untrained person handing out PPE, without gloves on because mandatory infections there are a must apparently, if you believe in covid. Obviously I needed my prescription so I took the mask then threw it in the garbage after I got in the door. I work outside all day, covered in sweat, I'm not wrapping my face, and being subjugated to other peoples paranoia. There are no penalties from WCB,only requirement for covid is a safety plan. I'll take my business elsewhere.

Always go here with a list but come out with way more then planned because they always have such great prices on everything and really good deals so it's hard to say no. Plus the Staff is really helpful and friendly and there is such a Great selection on everything you need from everyday living to camping, cleaning, home decor, Men's, women's and children's clothing departments, toys, a small selection for seasonal decor and a small entertainment and a small electronics selection plus theres a pharmacy, bakery, insurance department and lotto centre. So.e superstores also have Doctors, chiropractic services and other medical offices also. But the Main reason people shop at the Real Canadian Superstore is for a great deal on groceries and everyday necessaties.

Staff was horrible. As a person with an invisible disability who walks with a SD to be immediately confronted by the greeter & then have the manager accosted me at the til is 100% inappropriate. My SD did an alert & this store does not understand that every SD does not do alerts the same & that for a SD to do one single bark as an alert as it was trained to do is perfectly fine. They discriminate against certain SD owners at free will. My SD has been in the store many times & this is how they treat disabled people & the store manager Andy when confronted thinks this behavior from his employees is okay. If I could give a negative star review this store would get it.

My wife and I have lived in Kamloops for almost 40 years and have shopped at the Kamloops Superstore since they opened. We have found the store very reasonable priced and very friendly. Unfortunately for us older shoppers they decided not to publish a weekly flyer "BY MAIL". We find ourselves looking through their competitors flyers and making our grocery list accordingly. We're not the only ones who feel this way, everyone we talk to feel the same way and never look through the online flyer. We have find ourselves looking through their new competitor "FreshCo''s weekly mailed flyer" to determine our weekly purchases. Thank you

Love the addition of click and collect. So much easier especially with kids. The parking lot can be a bit of a mad house. Best to avoid busy hours and/or park on the side or far end of the lot. Also with click collect be sure to double check order and what's received. Have had a few instances with missing items/bag of groceries.

I used to love to shop here. But when covid hit, total chaos broke out. They do not have any arrows and no systems for the aisles. People are all over the place not social distaining. When I reached the checkouts, there was no order what so ever. There was one long line that a lot of people assumed that was the main line. After looking more, that was the line for only one of the cash registers. There were lines that were empty, and people had time lost that they couldve saved in another line up. When I walked up to the cash register, i was rudely told to stand back. Yet the register next to me, an old lady did the same thing as me and didnt get told anything. I started to unload and a family didnt get told to stand back either. Their children were wandering from the front of the register to the back, and yet didnt get told anything. Superstore has changed nothing since the start of covid-19. Plexy glass shields for the registers are the only difference. But why have them if you cant even manage spacing for other people. Then stack all of this when its busy and you get a definition of a nightmare. Superstore needs to better manage their checkouts.

I have always enjoyed superstore but recently they got a new anti theft system and it has gone off erroneously twice on me in two weeks. Shopping efficiently and then using the shelf checkout appears to lend to having the loud blaring alarm go off and having someone come check your receipt. I don't love having people stare at me when I'm just minding my own business trying to get my groceries.

The Kelowna Superstore is wonderful when it comes to dealing with disabled people. They abide by the medical mask exemption put in place by the government (unlike some other local stores). I have even heard a recorded message playing throughout the store reminding people that medical exemptions exist and to be kind when they see people not wearing a mask. The hate and the discrimination that disabled people face on a daily basis is criminal, especially now for those who cannot wear a face covering. There are a shocking number of people who have no idea that medial exemptions exist and there are even those who just don't care. To hear that message playing through the store warmed my heart and I will happily continue to do business there. If you want to be treated with kindness and respect, shop at the Kelowna Superstore, especially if you are disabled.

Terrible at Scanning Code of practice. Purchased 30 items today for a total of $180 and was overcharged on 4 items totalling $14.00 or 8%. Not the first time either. Why are we never undercharged? Do better RCS and fix your labelling. Will definitely be switching to a competitor. Went back today with the reciept and the items were still tagged wrong yet they refused to honour the scanning Code of practice.

I called to c if it was at the checkout station, a very nice lady answered the fone, she was so nice to talk with and looked after me as they always do. I feel very comfortable shopping the store knowing the staff have my back if I made a mistake. The quality of their merchandise is as good or better than any other store. I live 2 hours out of Kamloops and come here for a big shop about once month. The prices are what I come for. But the service has went seriously downhill. I used click and collect last time. I always get out to help load but with covid I was told not to. I have a lifted truck the box sits about 5 ft high. When my groceries were loaded they were literally thrown over the sides. Lots not in bags. I had squished breads and vegetables, as well as opened squished cream and other boxes. I didn't have time to go in for customer support. I pulled out of the click and collect parking to fix their loading job and took pictures while I did so. Wrote superstore about 3 weeks ago with no response. Will NEVER use click and collect again and am not so sure I will come back for another shop at all. Time to find a new store

Do not shop at the Kamloops Superstore unless you like being surrounded by anti-maskers. On my most recent visit, easily half the shoppers were maskless and standing as close as they liked to everyone else. I feel bad for the employees, as management has likely directed them to not enforce the mask policy. This store has some items that only they carry in town, so that is very good to know - like Bragg's Soy Sauce. Generally very good customer service, but signage at the ends of the aisles is extremely annoying. The signs are three-sided, with different items on each side, making the shopper go I'm circles to see what is down that aisle. I think roadside type of signs would be less frustrating, or maybe one list with all the same items itemized on one side.

Superstore always has the best prices around, every checkout has a staff member for quicker service, yes the lines do get long but you end up saving a bundle compared to the other big name grocery stores. Dairy section needs an upgrade or better protocol, cheeses never seem to last past a week and there is expired product that seems to make it into my cart if I'm not watching. Please don't be a fool like me and be sure to read the small print before ordering express pickup! Or at least make sure there is plenty of cash on your card before ordering ???? They charge 125% of your bill, and there will be 2 separate transactions pending/charged for"3-5 business days. Until they "figure out" how much to charge you. Also, have a $3 picking fee and charge extra for substitutions unlike Walmart.. What a horrible experience! UPDATE.. Same message they send everyone who posts a bad review. How can you (Superstore) take the ding off my credit because I didn't make sure there was enough on my card, for your 125% DOUBLE charge? A $30 gift card does nothing! I will be shopping elsewhere from now on!

Superstore offers great prices on many items that are more expensive elsewhere. The isles are fairly wide. Produce is fairly decent with a good variety. Challenge today is not all items available. Meats are comparable for pricing and good quality. Live the online shopping; however, not always had luck when someone else picks out fruit or vegetables. My avocado were very mushy and I had no time to deal with it. For most they get the orders correct. Helpful staff. Easier to find someone than in other stores. Deli is handy and we've enjoyed their Alan's. The sushi bar is a nice touch as the items are made thete. A store with a little bit of everything. I do miss their photoshop. Lots of parking.

If your employees make errors thats a lose for the company but to actually call the customer after 3 weeks of it happening and how many grocery orders. Guess better pay more attention to my receipts. I’ve been buying groceries and other items at the RCSS for almost 20 years. Recently they have implemented a no cash return on the 18L jugs. The deposit is $10 per jug. Now I’m stuck with 8 jugs that I have paid deposit on, that’s $80! They told me that I can exchange the empty jugs for full ones without paying the $10 per jug. I’m not buying water anymore. So I’m the one left holding the bag. Very poor decision here to not return my money. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EXPERIENCED TODAY! We were at the Kamloops store today at around 9:15pm and had felt embarrased and harrased by the lady "supervisor on duty." Apparently, the item (baby diaper) that we were purchasing was placed, along with other stocks of the same kind, under the wrong "promo pricing." The situation was poorly handled by the staff and and supervisor who argued with us and even raised her voice without understanding our concern. It was the first time we had such a very negative experience and it resulted to having a long queue with only one till open at that time. Instead of resolving it while upholding the value of the store by giving a good customer service, the lady supervisor clearly tarnished the reputation of the store by showing a very inappropriate behavior. We certainly hope that this kind of matter be properly dealt with or the store would suffer a bad reputation because of staff who do not seem to understand what their job role is. Moreover, her being adamant about her title of "supervisor" saying that she wouldn't honor it because we were answering her back was very very rude and unacceptable. Would honestly have given a 0 out of 5 because of the unecessary time and effort wasted for one diaper transaction!

Update: the assistant manager in the PC Express department was helpful in resolving this situation. Then I recieved a call from management and was able to have a conversation about the error and how it could have been dealt with better. I really hope that everyone is able to take this a learning opportunity. I would give this a 4/5 star rating. Nov 22, I do not know what happened with the express order system. My husband had to wait over 2 hours to get our grocery order. They kept claiming they were swamped, however, during the initial call they claimed not to have record of the order until they "found it". I believe they messed up and took no responsibility for it. Calling the store was futile as they just kept brushing you off with "we are slammed" Upon receiving the order we realized that 16 items were missing but we were charged. After calling they said it was there and offered a refund, which would have taken a month to process or I could come get the groceries. I chose to get the groceries the next morning. Arriving at the store, there was no urgency to get me my groceries,that the employees at superstore messed up on. I still waited 15+ minutes to receive my order before calling again. Only to be told they couldn't find my missing groceries and that they would have to call me back at some point. I understand technology and human errors happen but it's how you deal with them that matters. I found the way that Superstore handle this error was unacceptable.

Many people not wearing masks. When staff members were told they said nothing can be done. Apparently their is no restrictions when shopping even during a pandemic where masks are mandatory. No wonder they have had 2 outbreaks! Not following the rules. I will not be shopping their. As I seen people without a mask directly cough and sneeze over the products!

Exceptional service in the pharmacy from employee Yessir. I phoned in about a flu shot and he was able to get me in that night. My first time and he helped me feel calm and comfortable, even asked me to stay 20 minutes to make sure I was okay after the shot. He also helped multiple customers in between helping me. This man deserves a pay raise! Thank you, Yessir.
