Went in today May 3rd at 14:34 and the girl working was extremely condensing. And did it in a fake cheerful voice. I will not return to this place and strongly advice anyone and everyone to avoid this shop. Customer service is NOT where it should be. I'll be gladly taking my business elsewhere where I am not treated so poorly by a person.

We needed new cupboards: The wife looks around and finally ends up dealing with Home Hardware, the reason? The staff were responsive and answered all her questions (some were mine). She made numerous changes to the design, each time she apologized, and each time they said they were happy to help. They said that is what they are there for. The cost was slightly lower than our general contractor, however she decided on using them because of service. It might mean that they understand if you keep the cook happy the partner will likely end up shopping there after (me). Or they are very smart and understand kitchen remodels are based on what the cook wants (the wife in this situation). You keep her happy, the guy is happy and doesn't need to come in. Which means she gets to spend whatever she wants. (The only ask from me in this entire process was from my wife, for me to do measurements. The staff liked my measurements more than our general contractor?) They suggested to use painters tape and lay out the design on the floor to get a visual, which the cook did, they provided diagrams of the cabinets with measurements. Not once did I go in to check on the ordering process or design (Which means I have time to work and not focus on one more thing). They understood the wife was more than capable to determine what she wanted, and they took the time to help her make the kitchen she wanted. That is customer centric service.

5:45 pm I called because I live out of town was told they close at 6 which ok I said I was headed over there to get some items and hoped to make it. Got there with 5 minutes to spare only needed 1 thing from here for sure but might have grabbed a couple other things would of been in and out by closing. Door was already locked. What kind of business has such terrible customer service?? Guess I will not be shopping local tonight and probably not again here if I can find what I need somewhere else. Thanks for nothing

Really good place to shop most employees are friendly and knowledgeable. However I'd would of given better rating if they could handle orders placed that include outside suppliers. It's been a month ago that we ordered materials that weren't delivered and charged and for those place incorrectly charged for some that were delivered.

I had to make a loud passive aggressive comment while standing in line to get a second till opened. There were a bunch of employees putting up a Christmas display less than 20 feet from the tills yet none felt it necessary to serve the customers in line. One girl actually gave me attitude for speaking up!

Absolutely ridiculous customer service. Went in to get the item I placed on hold, after calling and confirming not once but twice that it was still there, and they don't sell it anymore. Called on Saturday to see if they had it in stock as their website shows it but does not say their stock, and she said she did but only one. I asked her to place it on hold for me and I would try to make it there and she said no problem at all. Called again this morning to confirm it was still there as I didn't make it Saturday and the guy I spoke to said yes it was. Asked him about cutting it down to size also and he said that I would just have to go while there was someone there to cut it. So I take off from work to get this and it is not there and is discontinued. No real apologies made just said well you must have talked to a different store and then when I showed him the call log on my phone it was well you can't remember who you talked to so not my problem. Not very often that I come to home hardware but now this is the last. Definately do not recomend these guys. Go to home depot or rona 100%

Long overdue reveiw,about a year,still bothers me so,we buy a water heater$600,2yr warranty on the burner,4yr on the tank,the point is less than 1 yr after purchase the burner quits,phoning the warranty # on water heater I get told the warranty ran out a year or 2 before.sounds crazy right?,the warranty people tell me that the warrantys started when home hardware ordered many and had shipped to there wharehouse.So knowing this I go into the store,I got laughed at and told there was warranty,needing hot water in my home I asked if he had one in stock,yes he says,okay can we please go get serial# and call in to make sure theres a warranty?,the salesman refused,why should this be a problem I say?,Ive already spent $600 and feel I deserve a replacement,once again laughed at.I left angry with the impression they knew they were selling water heaters with expired warrantys.So I dont shop there no more,many people I know say great guys/store.but all I know is I got ripped off for$600 and laughed at trying to deal with it,still angry

Beautiful store, but once again the checkout system lacks. If you have one cashier, let them do one job. Not cutting keys while people wait to pay, or have the store staff tell me to ask the cashier about a product.

So I wanted a 3 seat swing. They only had one in stock, floor model. I asked how I get it out of there? The reply was you can take it apart. And you have to buy a box! What the??? Am I missing something? So where’s the box it came in? Why should I take it apart. Pay full price for scratched up floor model , I do the work, and buy I box? One that it probably won’t fit into. Lol. Wow golden! See ya!
