If you want to wait in line at the checkout then this is the place to go! They desperately need to hire some staff for the check outs. We are still living in a pandemic, although it may not be as severe locally compared to other spots, I personally dont want to wait in line with 5 people in front of me and 3 behind me cause sobeys are to cheap to hire people. Im sure there are many men and women who would accept a cashier job now. No matter if its a weekday at 11am or weekend at 5pm there is always an issue waiting at check outs.

This Sobeys is a typical Sobeys for food and layout, but what's special about this Sobeys for me is the people who work here. From the plant specialist, to the cashiers and the wonderful cart/front store assistant (who is always there to help you and take your cart for you with a smile). Everyone is always cheery, and super helpful. Start to finish I have never had a bad experience here.

Smaller than any in Ontario but I'm starting to realize that's a theme in the east coast. The prices are crazy compared to Ontario too. I mean crazy high. Almost double for nearly everything. Otherwise, a cute little sobeys and good enough to grab a few things. Just bring deeper pockets if you're not from around here!

Love them so much!! My very favorite grocery store!! Staff is wonderful!! They even have a wooden rocking chair in the ladies wash room to breast feed. Also, they have fruit available for kids to take instead of getting a cookie from the bakery. You will love this store!!

Always clean & orderly. Sobey's tend to carry items not always found elsewhere. Love grocery shopping here. The only sour note: sometimes just too expensive with no justifiable reason when compared to other stores such as No Frills. Could the dollar difference be to cover costs of the bakery & the deli serving hot take out meals? Not sure but I still like shopping at Sobey's when in town.
