Service during this pandemic is terrible!!!! They refused to open at 7 am with the store for seniors and will deliver with a taxi???? Hell no would I have a taxi come to my home with my meds ever! I also received not consult on a new prescription. It was handed to me and they turned and walked away. I have found a great Pharmacy that bends over backwards for seniors!!! It is Midland Guardian Drugs at the Huronia mall, Highly recommend them and do not recommend this one!
Well! Don’t go in here upset in any way, Lindsay Barbour the “new” pharmacist will think you’re going to attack her. But instead of acting like she’s afraid, she’ll laugh at and berate you. I’ve been living out of province but I have been using this pharmacy since I was a child. Never again. The worst experience of my life. I didn’t know the rules of out of province prescriptions, but instead of explaining to me like a rational human being, she laughed at me and made me feel ridiculed. I will not be shopping at Dominion anymore do to this experience. That being said, the store manager tried to be helpful, but I feel nothing was done about/to Lindsay as she’s pharmacy and the store seems to be somewhat separate.. extremely unsatisfied customer.
Hi everybody, please don’t go there.. I wish I could give 0. There is a worst lady with terrible behaviour in the reception. She thinks she is the best pharmacist in the world..
really nice staff and non judgemental answers given!
I dont understand why i have to wait an hour for just 10 pcs of tablet specially that theyre not even busy. Like as if the pharmacist are making the medicines from scratch. Im really annoyed for the fact that you have to wait 4 hrs for the Doctor to get you checked and an additional hour just for the pharmacy to get your meds.
Super poor customer service. Very rude. 0/10
Wait times can be a hassle sometimes and quite long but I found that the pharmacist and her staff here were attentive and answered whatever questions were needed. Pick up for presciptions are always quick and painless. I've had minimal issues here but everyone is subject to their own experiences.
Very rude & never on time. Takes forever to get your prescriptions plus had many screw ups with them
Absolutely a nightmare to get customer services, two reps for a lineup of 7, nobody seems to care.
Been to this pharmacy multiple times every time I go there I get told that I've never been there and that they need all my information again. I needed pseudoephedrine. First off I was told that they didn't have any until I asked for Eltor the brand name and then they hymmed and hawed. I basically treated like a meth head by the pharmacist and offered every other drug there with pseudoephedrine+some other drug. I understand that it's one of the ingredients used to make meth, but the government tracks it's sales and only allows people to get 25 tablets a month. I'm sorry my sinuses are congested and I asked for a legal medication by its generic name. I won't be returning to this pharmacy.
Been using this pharmacy for years. I’ve never called without hearing please hold. Then usually on hold for 10-20 minutes. Easier to just walk there as I live close. Customer service at cash has somewhat improved since the older red hair lady seems to be no more there. Meds are never ready in less than an hour.
Absolutley horrible service. Miserable cashiers. Sick of this place.
I've never had any problems with the people who assist or the drugists there ,why all the negative comments, the line ups come and go.some people expect too much.
Good grocery store BUT terrible pharmacy service. The lack of organization and communication is showing between the pharmacy assistants. Called three times to confirm that they order in my medication and is ready to pick up. After a week of waiting I was told there was nothing on my file? Forget it, I will go elsewhere.
Honestly this is the worst pharmacy ever! They lose your prescriptions. Don't fill them out even if you give them a days notice! "Oops we forgot" Except it's everytime... Just don't use this pharmacy, ever
When you need to talk to a pharmacist through the phone, don't expect them to pick up the phone! Bad attitude and very poor services!
The people at this pharmacy are consistently professional and helpful.
Horrible calling service they expect people to use it to be safe but they take forever to answer I called 3 times first time I was hung up on before I even got to speak, second time I got hung up on AGAIN, and third time I was on hold for 10 minutes and took out of hold twice only to be told “I’ll get right back to you just hold for a few more minutes” and the lady hung up entirely on me, I’ve had other pharmacy’s refill my prescription in 10-15minutes tops, this place takes 2 even 3 hours sometimes and a few times the pills were in the wrong bottles (mismatched) by far the worst pharmacy I have been to (there is only one nice pharmacist lady)
Rude, unprofessional staff with extremely long waiting times for absolutely no reason.
Great service! Google's hours were/are wrong for Saturday though, they close at 5pm.
Plan on waiting double the wait time they say and every time you ask a question they need to go ask someone else. Overall untrained, unproffesional and unorganized. Worst pharmacy experience I've ever had.
Always friendly service and help when you need it!
Fastest Pharmacy in Kenora
Absolutely terrible waited in line for half an hour to be told they just got my fax from doctor and it would be another hour, doctor sent papers hour and half before, what a joke
Always loses fax prescriptions. Slow to refill and never calls you back. I'm so glad I switched pharmacy
They are horrible! The 2 girl who work there are so very unfriendly and they have no idea what they’re doing!!! And the pharmacist is even worse!! Even for a child!! We had an appointment for flu vaccination and previously when I called, they couldn’t answer any of my questions. Then he made us wait for half an hour for our appointment! While waiting, my daughter got nervous and she was scared of vaccination and when we were trying to calm her down, the pharmacist just left us, saying her doctor or someone else can get it done!!! ???? We tried to calm her down and waited anyway, when she was ready, we told him she’s ready but he had us wait another half an hour! Finally he came out for someone else’s vaccination and did her vaccination afterwards. But we didn’t even know if he would do it if there wasn’t that lady waiting for the vaccine, ‘cause non of them were answering our questions when we were waiting and asking if he’s coming to do it. He has no bedside manners and very unfriendly!!! You’d expect that wouldn’t happen when it comes to a child but he just was RUDE, period!!! I can’t believe they even allow these people for this kind of job!!! Never again!! I hope Lablaw pharmacy owners read these reviews and do something about it!!!!
Love the staff they are always so helpful. Best pharmacy I’ve had. Recommend to everyone I know!
Been using this pharmacy for 20+ years, have always had great service.
Had to go for emergency stitches. They were the quickest place I could go. Other hospitals required a 6 hour wait at least
Always a pleasant shopping experience.
Called inn this morning with a question and the lady on the phone was rude, I’ve never experienced such a bad customer service. And when I asked if she could look into it if they could order it, it seemed I asked for the world to end and she said: for that I would have to log into our system…Like seriously??? I thought a pharmacist is here to help and support and not being a miserable xxx and not the end of the world to help someone….
I'm a regular here, getting prescriptions every month or so. I never wait too long for service and my orders are filled in a reasonable time slot. sometimes they are busy though and it takes a little longer. A good pharmacy.
Called the pharmacy to book covid shot. The woman on the phone was super rude.
I love it there.
This place is the perfect example of "look busy do nothing"
Justin and his staff are the best! Your health will be in good hands!
When you have computer screens blocking the view of the person you are handing your prescription to, it sums up the customer service here....none. Older lady with red hair who works cash, is consistently rude and has purposely ignored me on a few occasions and dealt with someone who just walks up. Have to call back numerous times because you're on hold for so long and if you're lucky enough to have someone answer, they always seem rushed and tend not to listen effectively and having to repeat yourself is unprofessional and rude. Had to explain numerous times that an error was made, my husband told them that when he picked up my prescriptions, yet NO call was made to myself to verify that infact the prescription was wrong.....will be taking my pharmacy needs to Costco. It's time for some customer service training for all your pharmacy staff!!
So I ordered one month of my prescription two weeks ago and they didn't bother to order it until the day before I was supposed to pick it up. It hadn't arrived yet and they decided to give me 10 days worth that they had in stock. They charged me for all 30 days and were supposed to deliver the rest later that day. Anyway I didn't hear from them for two days so I went there and was then told that I already had all 30 days. I am going to file a complaint with the college of pharmacy.
My local pharmacy. Pharmacists are super friendly and get to know you by name!
Waited in Meat for steaks for a guy that came and saw me standing their, took a nice phone call after I waited for 10 min and said sorry for waiting. I love Loblaws but this store lacks employees and service. Port credit is on a different level, this location you have to chase staff down.
I feel comfortable every time I deal with the pharmacists there. They are professional and friendly ????
I'm new here, I was there earlier, so sad that Trish the one who assist me was not friendly. ???? Some kind not helpful to a newcomer to the pharmacy. I will never come back.
They are always busy so expect to wait. That being said by going to them I don't pay any fees associated with my medications. They have a deal with my husbands employer to match what they will pay so I don't have to pay anything so worth the wait.
Very respectful staff, and good customer service ????
Horrible service all around. Never answers the phone. Never looks at fax machine. Not reliable. No accountability.
There were rows upon rows of different pills, ointments, lotions, cough syrups and everything in between.
Easy to purchase from and get refills on my prescriptions
If they tell you that it'll take 20 minutes, assume 45 minutes. If they tell you that it'll take 30 minutes, assume an hour and a half. Basically, regardless of when you submit your prescription, regardless of how you submit it (in-person, telephone, through your doctor), just assume it will take 1-2 working days. When you go to pick it up, if there is 1 person ahead of you, assume that you will wait 5-10 minutes. If there are 2 people ahead of you, assume 10-20 minutes. Even though you will see 5-6 people behind the counter, only 1 of them is available to interact with the hoi polloi at a time. And definitely do not expect any acknowledgment that you've been waiting for a long time. On the plus side, you get those PC Optimum points.
I came at a very busy time to get my flu shot. The pharmacist was very pleasant even during the evening rush. I was impressed. Thank you
Extremly slow service
this local drugstore has cozy feeling
Every Thursday comes new flyer
Terrible service. Somehow they always mess up my prescriptions (ie giving me wrong pick up times, wrong medications). Extremely rude counter staff, always on hold for 20 minutes when calling to ask questions about my prescriptions.
Great
Best service I have ever found in a pharmacy. Every client is treated like a friend. Questions are answered and you never feel like your just a customer.
Friendly staff good location
They didn't have the product the last 3 times I went to the store counter, so I only received 4 weeks worth plus the dispensing fee each time so "they could save some for other clients. If I wanted more than 4 weeks worth, maybe I should go to Costco's Pharmacy." Haven't been back since.
One star... I ordered a specific medication in yesterday and I even showed them the box so they'd see the brand name. I wanted to made sure he got the right one and I asked a second time if it was the right one. He answered yes and said they'd have it in today. Well I went to the pharmacy today and when I went to pick up my prescription, they didn't have to the right one! He ordered the wrong one... After I specifically asked for the brand that was written on the box (which I showed him) he ordered in the wrong one. I don't understand how someone could make such a mistake with something so important!!!
Told medications will be ready at a certain time, it never is and the staff is very poor at customer service
I would suggest going elsewhere. You can’t even get through when you try calling. On hold for 20+ minutes for a pharmacy staff member? Really?
Unfortunately I have to give an undeserved star in order to leave a review. My drop off for the prescription went fine, and I was told to pick up my prescription about an hour later. I showed up for pick up, and the lady was not clearly communicating what so ever. She told me to pick it up tomorrow, and I told her it was supposed to be ready since I came back 1.5 hours later. I was told to wait aside, waited for 20 mins until a different worker asked me if I needed something. I told her I was waiting for my medication, and she grabbed it right away. After finally receiving it, I was later told I had no coverage, however I knew I did and they denied it. Tired of waiting, I paid full price and left. Terrible communication and efficiency, won’t go there again.
Professional, extremely helpful. The team treats you like family.
I dropped of my prescription at 11 am, was told it was gonna be 45 minutes. That was fine, I told them I'd be back at 430. Arrived back at 430 pm and waited in line for 45 minutes, and when I finally made it to my turn in line they called four people up infront of me who were sitting. One person working, while three others were just floating around. Horrendous customer service, incompetent staff and inefficient operation. You should be able to drop off a prescription and shop for groceries then pick up the prescription on the way out the door. Not the case here. Don't be fooled by false convience and location.
I'm always pleased with the courtesy and professionalism of the pharmacy staff. I feel in good hands there and I appreciate the staff. Good job folks.
Snotty attitudes had prescription faxed in by dentist after wife’s oral surgery made arrangements cause she can’t be left alone after sedation just to be told we help real customers first... first and last time I will use this pharmacy
PHARMACY VERY SLOW SEEM DIS ORGANIZED AND CAN NEVER ANSWER THE PHONE
I’ve waited on hold today for more than 40 minutes combined and it’s not the first time. The service has grown increasingly worse by the month.
A mess. Never have their ducks in a row.
Helpful and quick. Thank you!
Wonderful staff! They are all so kind, professional and caring. I've been going to this pharmacy location for many years now and I cannot say enough great things.
POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE! Some of your employees may need re-training. Dropped my prescription at 9:30AM, will do pick up after lunch and emphasized that I'll be paying in cash. Came back at 3PM, fall in line and waited with 4 customers ahead of me. When it was my turn, paid in cash for my meds and discovered they were incomplete. How did this happen? More than 5 hours before prescription pick-up and my meds were incomplete! I was expecting to just pick-up my meds without delay but this happened. Now I still have to wait longer. I asked for an explanation from Pharmacist but he was trying to avoid my complaint and just wanting to complete what was missing in my meds so I can leave his face. You may be called a "professional" but learn how to deal with customer complaints correctly and professionally. The important key is to "LISTEN" and learn how to "PACIFY" and "SATISFY" a complaining customer and not get rid of him. You didn't even bother to "APOLOGIZE" for the delay caused by your co-worker.
I understand the pharmacy has a new system the staff have been struggling with. I really feel for the staff seems they are try to make chicken salad out of chicken sh*t. I just spent 15 minutes phone ringing .no answer. Im calling to find out if the drug ordered a week ago is in. It's obvious to me the new system NOT WORKING !!
EDIT, June 24, 2020: Dropped off my prescription and was told that they did not have my medication in stock (again...), and that they would phone me when I could pick it up. One month passes – no phone call. I called my doctor to inquire; my doctor called the pharmacy, called me back, and told them that they thought my prescription was for ANOTHER similar medication, and that my original medication had been in stock the entire time. This location is so incompetent that I would recommend you drive the extra 5 minutes to any of the surrounding pharmacies. Original review, October 2019: Dropped off my prescription; the PA at the desk went to go examine the shelves (presumably to check if my medication was in stock), came back, and told me it would be a 45-minute wait. Came back in 45 minutes, was told it would be finished in another 15 minutes. Came back in 15 minutes, was told it would take another 5 minutes. Came back in 5 minutes and was informed that my medication was not in stock, and I would need to come in the next day to pick it up. Perhaps that is something a patient should be informed of at the very beginning, instead of having to walk out without their medication after over an hour wasted.
So rude and horrible horrible service from the staff. They did ask me to wait only 10 minutes and at the end of the day i had to wait almost 2 hours to finish everything. I wasted two hours of my day for no reason and I suggest people to don’t go there at all and the staffs are really rude and they don’t know how to respect the clients. My rating is below “ ZERO”.
Alrighty folks, this is gonna be a long one so grab a snack, get comfy and be prepared to freakin read about my ~ experience ~ with this disappointing pharmacy. So I first went there in September to pick up a prescription which was all good, except there was a hiccup with my insurance so I had to pay full price. The pharmacist said this was common with my insurance and that I'd just be given a refund for the amount that my insurance would usually cover next time I came in. All good, no one's fault. Life goes on and my meds are starting to run out, so I tried calling 3 times, on 2 separate days to ask them to fax my doctor to refill the prescription. No answer. So now I go into the store (which wasn't ideal considering COVID and all but oh well) and ask the pharmacist there if they could fax my doctor about the refill. They said they would, and would call me when the prescription was ready. Great! All was well. After waiting 10 DAYS with no call back + me trying to call them to get an answer (but of course, no answer) I finally get a call back telling me that my refund from before was ready and that I need to come in to get it. I agree and say that I'll come in tomorrow to get it. I also tried inquiring about the prescription refill/fax as well, but they quickly hang up before I get a chance to say anything. So the next day comes and I go in to get the refund and ask about that fax. They have NO CLUE what refund I'm talking about. None. I tell them that they literally CALLED ME the day before to come get this. No one has any idea what I'm talking about and they say "they'll call me tomorrow sometime after 5:00pm about it". OK fine, whatever. I also ask them about the fax. They said its been declined. I'm a little confused about why, so they show me the paper that my doctor faxed them back, telling them to tell me that I need to make an appointment with her. I look at the date and it was sent 8 DAYS AGO. They never called/contacted me telling me this. I was just waiting for absolutely no reason for 8 days. Now I'm starting to get a wee bit frustrated here. The next day comes and no one calls me about the refund. I figure screw it, whatever, I don't wanna deal with this anymore. I then make an appointment, got a doctor to give me a 1 month prescription refill to hold me over till I see my main doctor in a month. *sigh* ALRIGHTY, I am so close to finally getting these gosh darn meds and will be done with this mess! So I go in AGAIN today, stand in line for heckin 20 minutes (btw I'm the ONLY one in line the whole time) and finally speak to someone and they tell me that my prescription will take an HOUR AND A HALF to fill! These meds are by no means special and usually have a 15 minute wait time to fill. OH AND the store closes in an hour and a half so they won't even be open when they're ready. LOVELY! So now I sit here and hope and pray to whatever spiritual deity that all this will end tomorrow when I try to go pick up my meds. I sincerely hope, no one else has to go through this. Stay safe, stay healthy y'all. Side note: All the staff were polite and never rude to me and I, never to them. The pharmacy is horribly run and it's frustrating, but the people working there still deserve respect. Please, no one be rude or mean to the staff. I saw other people there that weren't the kindest towards them - Please don't be like them.
Worst pharmacy ever. If I could give them no stars I would. I hardly ever get a prescription there but I went to the clinic right there so I decided since I was sick I would get the prescription. There was no one in line, no one waiting and quite a few staff working and yet they told me that I would have to wait for more than an hour to get my prescription. So I asked if I could have it delivered as I could not wait around I was feeling too ill. Return to the same clinic one month later, received a new RX so since they feel the other when I went there. Once again I would have to wait around for about an hour to get my prescription? So I opted for delivery again and it never got to my house till 10 PM at night. Next day another prescription called in by my doctor. When I called to inquire about it they told me unfortunately they didn’t have enough of the meds the quantity was only 21 Caplets so they would have to Owe me some? I told him to forget it I would take it the prescription somewhere else. Both times I waited patiently for somebody to serve me and they just pretended they did not even see me for the longest time.
I have been getting my medications from this pharmacy for 5 years. They have always been professional and make every effort to ensure my needs are met.
Terrible service.
Numerous mistakes have been made filling the correct Rx. When we used Bison Dr. Superstore Rx. were ready in 30 min. max. At Gateway 6 hours is what they tell me is the norm! There isn't enough time in the day to work for a living and try to contact the pharmacy to confirm Rx. since the system will give busy signals or ring & ring then you get disconnected just as staff pick up the phone. Yet, they will not fill Rx. faxed by the doctors office until you contact them! I have soooo many more examples of how terrible this pharmacy is. The owner of this pharmacy is obviously only interested in making money. Nothing appears to be set up at this pharmacy to benefit their customers. After voicing my concerns on several occasions nothing has improved.
To place 10 tablets in a bottle takes hours and days!! was advised it would be ready in 40 minutes, after an hour I go back get told still not ready come back in 30 minutes, wait another 10 get told cant fulfill the entire prescription, next day I am back told to wait 40 minutes..... still waiting. I don't normally write reviews but when a place does this so often they need to reviewed in the manner they treat the public
Always great
The Pharmacists have been great with our situation and demonstrated great customer care. Would highly recommend this pharmacy
After the way they treated my wife. Not only on the day her mom passed away, Jan6th of this year.(the day before her birthday) But yet again yesterday. April16 2019. Neither I nor ANY of my friends or family. Will EVER step foot in this "establishment" again!! BOYCOTTING !There should be an option for a NO STAR review!
(Did anyone actually read Gryffin Gimli's essay-length review? Any chance we could get the Cliffnotes version? lol) My only complaint is that if there's a person holding up the line by asking many questions, the other staff won't open the second register until there are almost a dozen people in line, then they help the next person in line and then close the register. If they would open the second register when it becomes apparent there is a difficult customer standing at the till, it would save time and headaches for everyone
I love to shop here. Very polite, clean personel although the drugstore is a joke ! I have never seen so much disorganization and rudeness in any drugstore I've visited. In and out of town. Truly shocking. Anne from the Pharmacy should really learn how to smile and use her manners.
Total chaos at this pharmacy. I should have read the reviews before having my prescriptions transferred there a month ago. Either they got my simple prescription wrong or totally ignored my request. The original pharmacist changed it because they didn't have stock and was supposed to leave a note. +5 phone calls later and they're still making the same mistake. None of them wrote the "note" concerning the matter. Either totally incompetent or ignored their customer.
Always get my prescriptions sent here. They are always ready for me when I arrive. Staff rings me through quickly and are always pleasant.
Not in the least surprised that this pharmacy has a God awful reputation. The staff are absolute experts at ignoring you. I'd have a bloody coronary if one of them actually smiled !! I needed a simple analgesic for my wife, that medication is kept behind the counter. When I finally was served I explained that this medication was for my wife ( who happened to be indisposed and in bed ). I was told my wife would have to come herself and buy the medication. If I'm not in " their system " then they won't sell me that particular medication. Absolutely ridiculous, I can go into any pharmacy in the Kelowna area and purchase that medication no questions asked. I left the store and drove down to the Safeway pharmacy asked for the medication and was asked " 50 or 100 " ,,, no issue whatsoever. Yes indeed that pharmacy in the Independent market has the reputation they deserve ,,, you won't see me there again !!
Very unprofessional. Kept asking me for an ‘extra second’ for 30 minutes, I told them I was in a hurry and they did not respect that, could not even process my insurance and asked me to pay for meds that are 100% covered.
This place is so dirty that I would not buy anything in this place & the staff are to lazy to help you out if you ask them about a product that you can not find.I gave it a one star because it is the very lowest you can give.
***WARNING EXTREMELY RUDE AND UNPROFESSIONAL*** I would have written this last night, but I was shaking and crying so uncontrollably that I was unable to until now. Forget about last time, the day my mom passed away. When I was almost REFUSED my medication, from the elderly East Indian gentlemen(used VERY lightly) Because I was there (according to him) ONE day early. Fast forward to yesterday, with the younger East Indian gentlemen(again used EXTREMELY lightly) First the two young men behind the counter were arguing about who was going to help me. It wasn't until I said that perhaps I should find a manager. That one of them finally came to assist me. Giving me an attitude just because I requested that my meds be put into a blister pack. Now for this next part. You need to understand that I have just gotten out of a 5day stay at the hospital, because of not being able to eat from stress, and dropped to 74lbs. So my medication is and was very important! So believe me, this review should really be more along the lines of NEGATIVE 1000. Being a pharmacist, you'd think that you would be a little compassionate and understanding, not to mention professional towards your costumers? ANYWAY.. Fast forward to yesterday when I TRIED to pickup my meds. Must have been too early as the young girl behind the counter said that it would be another 10mins. When I stated that I know what time it was when I dropped off my proscription, and was told an hour and 10mins. (Of course I'm frustrated. I just spent 5 days in the hospital, from not eating due to stress) Not to mention the fact that I just celebrated 1year sober on April1st. The young East Indian "gentleman" pops his head arond the corner, and proceeds to tell me to "watch my attitude before he REFUSES to fill my perception" from the HOSPITAL. And states that there are a number of write ups on my file. From when? The day my mom passed away, the day before my birthday?(January6th) Before I was diagnosed with Borderline Personality Disorder, PTSD, and Bipolar? Or perhaps from when I was a drunk?.... Um?? People change! Who is this PHARMACIST to judge me??!! He wound up THROWING my perception at me and tells me to go somewhere else. Mind you its 7PM. ****NEVER AGAIN*** A word to the WISE. You WILL be judged based on your past if you go here! And they will treat you "accordingly". PLEASE save yourself some time and grief! !!DO NOT GO HERE!! I will NEVER be stepping foot in this store again! As I also complained last time, and NOTHING was done about it. This reflects GREATLY on the QUALITY of this store. Not to mention the "RESPECT" they have for their costumers. Which apparently isn't much at all!!! ***BOYCOTTING***
This has got to be the worst drugstore I have ever dealt with you call 2 days ahead of time when you get there they still expect you to wait another hour the most minor thing that happens can guarantee that you will wait another week it's always the same thing they are always running behind by days and you end up doing without I started with them for convenience of being able to shop and get medication at the same time but there is not anything convenient about it don't deal here go elsewhere they cannot get on the same page in there even with 6 or 8 people behind the counter most times precriptions get lost or forgot about
Have been using this pharmacy for years and have yet to had a successful prescription filled. I am frequently told that it will take 2+ days to fill my prescription. Don't bother getting your physician to fax over a prescription - an employee openly told me she doesn't check the fax unless someone specifically calls in and asks her to. Last month I called my prescription in and was told to pick it up the next day. When i arrived after the pick up time, they asked me to come back as it wasn't ready. This happened TWICE. absolutely brutal. I would not recommend this pharmacy to anyone is on medication frequently.
They are not helpful!!
I waited in line for 25 minutes for the covid vaccine only to be told to sit down for another 10 minutes, it wasnt till I called out to one of the workers there that i was told that there was no walk in vaccines, even though it said that on the superstore site.
Have everything that you need all in one store pleasant staff.
They don’t have a proper system in place, to dispense and distribute the meds for people. Staff never seems to be in a hurry. It always seems as if the customer is their last priority, and now with the introduction of their new system, the wait times have tripled. The only reason they might still be in business is because of their location. It’s an incredibly inefficient place which is managed as poorly as one can manage it.
Super friendly staff , very helpful , only thing is the wait time for pick up is a bit long since they are so busy
So difficult to speak to a pharmacist.....they will keep putting you on hold, and it seems that you've disconnected because there is no message playing, music or anything. zero chance I would use this pharmacy if I actually had frequent prescriptions
Booked an appointment for 12:30 showed up on time and waited another half an hour while pharmacist ate her lunch before being seen. Would not recommend.
Very very slow
Pharmacy staff are always very helpful. Pharmacists are knowledgeable and caring. Great service.
Excellent service and friendly staff
Worst group of pharmacists/ assistants ive ever dealt with. They literally ignore customers. Watched some poor woman wait 15 mins to speak to someone about her pain meds. Erase my patient file. Im never going back.
These people are price gougers. They charged $207.60 more for a prescription than Costco. They refuse to price match or take the drugs back. I'm cancelling my Superstore Mastercard !! Buy your drugs at Costco.
Reasonable prices
I've been going to this pharmacy for a year now, and I'm getting the sense that they either are discriminating against me or they simply have no idea what they are doing. Get ready for an unnecessary amount of WAITING....
Justin is the best pharmacist I have had the pleasure of dealing with he is professional and very knowledgeable and always makes you feel comfortable even when you're questions may seem foolish. There are many pharmacy around but I don't go anywhere else just because of justin. Thanks for the great work and services
We need to understand each pharmacy, especially superstore Grande Prairie, one of the busiest Pharmacy in alberta, some short of stuff and everything that goes out needs to be check by the pharmacist, some people said that even they are not busy why they need to wait for an hour, some people are ahead of you, and we have only one pharmacist clerks cannot help the pharmacist to do last or final check, pharmacist do lots of task not only checking your prescription.
My fiance and I had been with this pharmacy for five years, and we finally had enough. Long wait times for service or for prescriptions to be filled, even on clearly slow days, even for regular every day prescriptions that do not require anything but pulling the item out of their fridge and filling out the paperwork. What finally sealed our decision to change pharmacy was our treatment when filling a prescription over the phone. The assistant who I would communicate with on the phone would often hang up abruptly before confirming the prescription to be filled or the time I would be able to pick it up. This would force me to call back, go through the phone menus again, and speak with her once more just so I could make certain it was being filled and when I could pick it up. I could forgive once or twice, but this being the case most of the times I call in is just poor service and protocol. There's better pharmacies out there. This one gets no more of my business.
Hrs r great .staff isn't so knowledgeable If you need ur meds on time unfortunately this might not be your pharmacy.
Been a customer for years. Excellent knowledge and service.
I've been using this pharmacy for 20 years. Free delivery (except Sundays). Pharmacists are knowledgeable. Kind employees. Great customer service.
Very pleasant prompt service
Always waiting for prescriptions to be filled, much longer than the 45 minutes they say. I waited for an hour to come back and stood in line for 10 more minutes as I watched 3 staff talking among themselves before they even acknowledged the line up and my prescription still wasn’t ready. Customer service needs attention as two assistants are often rude. I switched to Shoppers Wapiti as the service they give you is far above even though it’s a 15 minute drive out of my way. They also offer online refills in which you get a text when they’re ready for pick up as well as free delivery if you need it. I’m glad to be done with this pharmacy.
Smart and friendly
Poor service! called if my medication l ordered is already available but told me it wasn't but upon more verification it was already sitting there a few days said "for pickup". Further it said "called customer twice but no answer"?Told the girl l never received a call nor it was in my answering machine, cause everyone else are able to connect to me or leave a message if I'm not around. But there were none! Good pharmacy, but bad personnel services...lying as well!
Each person’s experience is unique and valid. While I understand many of the reasons for “1 star” ratings, I myself have had a “5 star” experience. I have been going here monthly for years and had wonderful service. It is a crazy busy pharmacy, so I don’t expect not to wait. However, I use the automated refill service over the phone; this always results in a quick pick up.
I spent well over 40 minutes across two phone calls waiting for an answer. Picking up and saying "can you hold it's going to be a while" is not an excuse for ignoring your phone lines. I am a pharmacist and needed to speak with them urgently about a mutual patient. Unacceptable.
Nikki was awesome! I was just trying to renew a simple prescription and the other pharmacies and clinics were uncaring and offered no alternatives without a doctor. Nikki gave me some good advice and renewed my prescription for 30 days to help me. Far more than anyone else did. Thanks for help during these terrible times!
