Great pharmacy that really cares about you as patient, providing dedicated and diligent healthcare. This small and charming pharmacy also does a lot to support the broader community, carrying locally made products that often smell, feel and/or look amazing. The location is also super close to the hospital. Do yourself a favour, skip the big box store pharmacy and go see Bowman’s where your health is their priority.

Small pharmacy which has the basics covered as well as a great selection of organic/local/handmade bath and body products (soap, body butter, etc.). Owned and staffed by a super friendly couple who offer a personal touch. They close early compared to larger pharmacies, so check the hours before you go.

Bowman's is an excellent pharmacy. The one-star reviews all seem to be from anti-vaxxers offended that Bowman's supports Bill 39. I had always had our prescriptions at a grocery store pharmacy, thinking it was easier to deal with prescriptions at a place I was already going regularly. I was so wrong! I became familiar with Bowman's when someone told me they have an Arabic-speaking employee. I help a couple of Syrian families who have become very close friends and transferred their prescriptions there so they would be sure to understand instructions for their medications (Asia, the Arabic-speaking employee, is fantastic and so, so helpful). I was so impressed that I transferred all of my family's prescriptions and have been so happy that I don't have to wait two days for a refill or deal with a crowded store just to pick up a prescription. The pharmacist himself answers the phone most of the time and has prescriptions ready quickly. It is SO much easier to stop by Bowman's for a prescription than to plan pickup around my need for groceries, or worse yet, have to battle the crowds and long waits at one of the big-box stores when I just did the shopping yesterday.

I was having long waits at other places and sometimes had to wait more than a day for prescriptions. Someone told me to try Paul our and since then I never go anywhere else. Friendly fast and knowledgeable , go to Bowmans. He supports local as well...check out the natural local products!

Open to LGBTQ+ and newcomers to Canada, works with low-income and vulnerable populations, makes sure you are aware of what reproductive health options you have, and will do all the work for you to transfer and review your prescriptions. I do not recommend shopping here. There are many other knowledgeable pharmacists that will provide you the correct and factual information. This place is more interested in their bottom line than the care and wellbeing of their clients. There are better places to get your advice from.

I do not recommend this pharmacy. I would much rather send people to a place where discrimination is not tolerated and our chartered rights are respected and honoured. Pushing a vaccine mandate instead of our medical freedom to informed consent is an erosion of the integrity of medicine in the free world. Not to mention an absolute conflict of interest. There are plenty of pharmacies who are staying neutral, as they should. Go shop there. There are awesome pharmacists there as well. Two thumbs down
