Not impressed with some of the staff. This one worker took over 30 minutes to complete the form for a member ship. Also why does Costco close so early on a Saturday? 6pm what if they can't go before then. Please consider staying open later on Saturdays.

Big. Busy. Clean and efficient. It's exactly what you expect out of a Costco. Checkout staff are so friendly and quick to ring everything up. Bring your own reusable bags as often the boxes available to pack stuff into aren't always adequate for the job. Their food court makes a great pepperoni pizza and we often grab a whole pizza to go. It's a great value as well. Cold bottles of water are available in a vending machine for only 25 cents. You can't beat that! Grab a tank of gas on your way out and you'll realize even more savings. Glad my wife finally talked me into joining up again after many years of just driving by.

The tire service is awful. I have been to other costco's around Canada, and the people here are lazy and unwilling to please their customers. I had all of the paperwork together to put a claim in on tires that had a 100,000km warranty. I had drives 22000kms and 3 out of 4 tires were worn so bad I could not safety my car. Finally, after providing mechanics proof, Myles (worst attitude of them all) said he could claim 1 tire, but will only pay for 66% of the new tire, I was stuck with an extra 400$. Will never go back here for tires. Awful counter staff.

Diesel - Propane - Liquor... What else can you ask for. The fuel lines ups were much shorter here than most of the other Costco locations we have been to. Lots of parking, even for trucks pulling big trailers. We were in town for a week on our way home from Ontario to BC and came here three times in 7 days. If I lived closer, I would be here every week!

My favorite store in Grande Prairie. Great staffs and the store is usually clean. Lots of spaces to navigate the store. Fast people on the till. Weekends are very busy , i found the best time to go is around 10 to 11 am on weekdays and around closing time on weekends. They also offer tire services and has the cheapest gas in town. The membership fee makes it all worth it and also of you get the executive membership, you get an annual rebate!

Staff is friendly, prices are decent and selection is huge for organic goods. Won't sell you a phone outright though, which feels wrong. (You want to buy a product at a retail store? No! Need to sell you a contract as well...?) Delivery via Capital is absolutely garbage though. Get Kaggey or EJ back on, folks, not ideal to wait days for a delivery.

(UPDATE BELOW) Apparently paying for items for your mother is a no-no unless you're willing to fork out cash. Pretty disgusted that I'm accompanying mom and want to treat her, but am not allowed unless it's a cash purchase. Nice job. UPDATE: Got VERY quick follow up from Costco due to my Twitter complaint. The manager called to apologize, indicated that this is not a store policy and that she would be following up with the cashier. I'm very impressed with the customer service follow up. I hope this resolves the issue for other people as well.

Best store in town, you can buy anythjga in bulk, like groceries. But they also sell clothes, shoes, phones, TVs and other tech. There's also a canteen style restaurant near the cash which sells got dogs, fries, soft serve ice cream, sandwiches, and more, all of which is cheap and quick.

Heyyo, the deals on a lot of this stuff bulk is pretty darn good... The Kirkland brand, which is a Costco brand is usually of really high quality and cheaper than big brand names. Their dog food for example is a lot lower in price than anything at PetSmart or Petland, yet it's still just as healthy for my dog as Nutro. That alone over time pays off the membership and saves me money in the long-run.

For a store that I literally pay to shop at, I would expect a certain level of customer service. On Saturday, I visited this location for a passport sized photo at 5:25 and was told that it couldn't be done because there wasn't enough time to print it. This is despite the associate seemingly not being busy, and the photo printing machine clearly not being in use. It doesn't take an expert to figure that 35 minutes should be ample time to print one photo. If there is a legitimate reason why that would be the case, then the photo area should have seperate hours posted indicating that they are unable to print at those times. I am very disappointed by my experience.

But then there is the "karens" who think they are the queens of mask policing. Those older rude ladies aren't my favourite. Unlike the Saint John location, this Costco has been a much better experience for me overall. The returns staff are genuine and work hard to help. The tire centre did do something one time a few years back that they should not have, however, the store manager at that time made things right with me which retained my business with this warehouse instead of losing it. This Costco is better in customer service than Saint John or Moncton. It is a shame that the AVP Operations guy is blind to this. After meeting with him I could see how out of touch with the customer he was so I took to the internet to voice my opinions. Fredericton costco - keep up the good work. I remember the night that Saint John messed up my tire balancing and I was late getting to the store and they close up usually right on time but thanks to an A+ employee named Morgan - she told me if I could make it over in 20 minutes they would keep the door open for me - now thats service and as promised I give you my positive review. Perhaps Saint John Costco employees could be provided some coaching by Fredericton. Maybe the Fredericton Warehouse could meet with AVP Operations and help them understand how to relate to their customers in general. I would give 5 stars, however, due to few incidents regarding the tire centre and destroying all my lug nuts without stopping after destroying the first one and then giving me a hard time originally until the manager got involved - for that I need to keep it at 4 stars to keep this an honest review. Everything else is good. Thank You.

Costco in Fredericton is All-in-one place with on-site gas station and others department like Tire Centre, Pharmacy, Glasses, hearing aids, cell phone, food court. They do direct bill to insurance company for most healthcare services. The dispensing fee for drugs is pretty much lowest in town. Plenty of parking space.

First of all they block all the cashier aisles so that of you are in good area it's near impossible to get back into store. What's with that? I also can't stand having to dig through my wallet to show my membership card at the entrance. Then when you leave you have to get a highlighter mark on your receipt, they don't actually look at what you have, seems very pointless to me.

Cons: There were various items on carts on discount that both inhibited flow making social distancing in those areas nearly impossible. Also the signs for the discounts were hastily scribbled, noone took the time to print them out or even take the time to write neatly. Half the sample stalls didn't actually provide samples, there were just employees standing there by packaged product. 5/5 for the employees effort trying to promote the products, but I felt bad for them standing there being glorified sign posts. Batteries, specifically AA cells were in different locations. Duracell AA cells were at the front of the store while all the other sizes and brands were on the isle, making it impossible to price compare. Finally, the checkout area only had enough room for 2 carts in line and one at the register, making the line near the exit isle stretch halfway down the store while all the other lines were nearly empty. Pros: Very good selection for such a small store Staff were trying their hardest and were very friendly All products flowed in a logical manner, with the only exception being the previously mentioned discount items and batteries, at least as far as i noticed. Ample parking Tire center efficient and exactly on schedule.

While we have never had a problem with the staff at this Costco before (they are usually very friendly), over the summer, we had issues with 2 separate older women handing out samples (about 3 weeks apart). My kids had lined up to get samples, & the women started huffing, puffing, rolling their eyes & mumbling under their breath. Then they started throwing away the other samples that were around the ones my kids took. One woman asked why they weren't in school, & when my son started to explain, she snapped, "I wasn't talking to you!" I watched other sample tables to see if they had started a new policy asking customers to not take samples & just wait for them to be handed to you. But I saw all kinds of people taking samples while those manning the tables smiled & told them about the product. I'm not one that would normally complain (This is the first time I've ever put a bad complaint online.); but if you can't handle being nice to people, you shouldn't have a customer service type job.

Poor experience from registering to checkout. The sign up email does not tell you that a proof of residence is required, only ID to pick up your membership card. So i had to frantically search my phone for a power bill to get my current address on my membership. If the email told me to bring one it could have all been avoided. After finally getting membership I try to enter into the store the shortest way, which is apparently a big no no. Theres no signage saying this, its its expected that we know by instinct. After getting into the store its not so bad if you know where your items are, but if you're a first time customer goodluck finding an associate to point you in the right direction. Ended up leaving without finding all my items. At checkout theres no signage explaining how it is working during covid, you are expected to know not to out your items on the register and to know not to move up in line until told. Savings on toilet paper and paper towel are not worth this.

I bought tired from Costco because they have great prices, I will give them that. Their customer service on the other hand was below, way below standard. I could not get over how rude the service department was. I ordered tires that were not in stock so they ordered them, made an appointment for DEC 10th, 2015. When I arrived I was told that they did not come in. When I asked why they didn't contact me they said they tried. They had a number that was old and out dated. I realize that's partly my fault but hey should have verified that contact information was up to date when I placed he order. That's not even the part I'm upset about. The fact that I was told that they were booked until the 24th of December and at no point was any effort made to compensate for the fact that I was told they would be in on a certain date and they weren't. I personally work in sales and realize that things happen from time to time. Although telling me they have first come first serve service first thing in the morning is not sufficient compensation for their mess up. I feel the appropriate action should have been when the tires come in they would fit me in. I don't think that asking much. definitely will not be buying anything from their service department again. It goes without saying they have great prices on grocery items and a wide selection of other products. But they definitely need a few lessons in customer service.

This Costco location has loads of parking which is good because it’s very busy. It seems to be well staffed and the usually have lots of till running at once. I love going there on the days when they have free samples. I have found that they always have the latest food trend, I had tried koombacha in Oregon on a trip and I had never heard of it before sure enough when I got back to gp I see it at Costco. Over the years I have also really enjoyed their return policy which is excellent.

It gets crowded easy if you visit at a peak time, and the food court is messy often, and the seating (picnic tables) are not favorable when by yourself, and are not comfortable to sit at. Costco staff is either very friendly or too focused on their job to be personable.

Lots and lots of stuff, probably most of which you'll never need haha, but the things you do need are generally in a huge portion and a better price. It's always fun to just wander around the aisles and see what's available as the inventory changes regularly. Samples galore, which is an excellent way to find out if you would like something as opposed to buying 12litres and discovering you dont like it. Parking is almost always available no matter how busy, the spaces are accommodating for the huge carts. The gas bar can be a bit of a gong show to say the least but the price savings are always worth it.

My experiences at this Costco over nearly 30 years have been great, save for an encounter once with a Karen. I don’t know how anyone would claim that Costco discriminates against disabled people, since it’s simply not true. Nobody gets a mask exemption at a private business, which is what Costco is. You have several options that aren’t in-person shopping if you refuse to wear a mask like everyone else. I have yet to see anyone who has a medical exemption show actual, non fake paperwork to back up that claim. This Costco is a great place to shop and save a lot of money.

Costco delivers a consistent experience, and this isn't any different. Staff are well trained and energetic. The systems they have in place, lower the expectation of personal service, but that is not why we go to Costco is it? Where service does shine is when you have a problem. Because of the membership thing, they know what you bought and when, and there are usually no questions about returning something. If you buy something online, they accept it back at the store. Quality is usually good and prices are of course excellent, but not always the least expensive. The stores are designed to give you enough room to move with their gigantic carts, but that makes the parking stalls wide and the isles free of crowding.
