I Just wanted to take the time to drop this message. On Friday May 17th, 2019 my family was driving from Timmins Ontario to Niagara Falls Ontario for a vacation. We had stopped at the Walmart located next to this Canadian Tire when we ran into some vehicle issues. I approached the service department at your store and this is where you blew me away. Not only to the gentleman behind the counter help out with what he could, but the mechanic he sent to help me was amazing. They both went above and beyond for my family and I can't thank them and Canadian Tire enough for basically coming to the rescue and same my families vacation.

Typical Canadian Tire store which is a heaven for buying tools and home repair equipment. However you cannot shake the feeling that they are always missing on that one tool that you happen to be looking for that exact day, which is a common feeling in all saint eustache stores i guess. Dislike their garage they are more expensive, you don't see what they do to your car (mechanic behind a closed door), and they always find something wrong with my car.

My experience at this location was above and beyond expectations. A sudden issue with my truck on a Saturday would have caused a severe impact on my upcoming work schedule -- after a few setbacks, the CT team pulled off an unbelievable win in OT! Three members were dedicated to getting me back on the road almost two hours beyond the scheduled closing time for the garage. Also, the cost was very reasonable for the effort pu forth. With not many options in the area on weekends, I drove away very impressed with the service i received from personnel at this location. Thanks, guys!

Long time customer of the store, purchased a kids bike and the bearings in the pedal mechanism fell out. Bike is 3.5 months old. I didn't have my receipt and was told that they can't warranty it. I asked if they can look up the receipt in their system, I was told they couldn't. I asked if they could look it us using the rewards system, they said no. I left with the bike, instead of paying to have the bike repaired I went to wal-mart and purchased a new bike for my 5 year old. Decided to call corporate customer relations for Canadian Tire and ask the same questions and was told different answers. They said that the receipts can be looked up if I had paid debit, credit and or used rewards within 12 months which I did. Called back to the local Canadian Tire and they do some backtracking saying that it was just the individual store policy to look up the receipts or not. They then asked if I wanted the bike repaired and I said no, refund or store credit, they said no. Bike was not needed after buying a new one elsewhere. It only takes the one bad service experience to loose a customer.

Went there to get a hunting tab,..the guy took 35 min to process it and at the end he gave me a reprint of the spring tag I've already used.. When I told him that he did a mistake he said that I'll have to wait again for him to help the other people in line and he'll get back to me.. No thanks, not another hour!! Being from the States this is a great little store. We do not have the Canadian tire. The store had a great selection and everything we needed. We were on a trip North in a motor home pulling a Jeep. This store gets no stars from me even if I put 1 start. It wont allow you to post if you don't put at least 1 star. This is the worst Canadian Tire of all. You call and you are always placed on hold and they never come back to answer you. I tested it and I was on hold for 33 minutes before I hung up. I called back and I was frustrated explaining to her and asking what the problem is. I get no answers but put back on hold for another 20 minutes before I hung up. The girl that answers the phone is always rude, young and never helpful because she does not give a damn. Before you go there do research on items you wish to purchased because you wont get help there. And no one thinks further than their nose. I go there as I know what to get and get out but if you don't...LOL Good luck!!!

Got my car worked on there today. This morning they said there were no appointments until the next day and then I drop it off and they say well maybe we can have a look at it turns around they looked at it and fixed it in a few hours. The problem was the horn they installed wasn't working properly and the serpentine belt came off after the alternator they put on. I was going to put the belt on myself but I noticed the air conditioning belt was still on there and it was a difficult task to remove it then put the serpentine belt on and put the AC belt back on so I took it to Canadian Tire to have them look at the horn anyway. I got a bill for a starting charging inspection of $35 and a bill for an air conditioner compressor belt for 5 0.33. I get in the car I drive at home the air conditioner don't work now and the horn still doesn't work. Not happy will change my review if tomorrow they fix everything

I asked an employee where the Garden Centre is located. I was directed to go to customer service to the front of the store. I do not know why the employee could not communicate to use the exit that was behind him. Employees should be able to assist customers in the correct direction without directing them to go to customer service for direction. On a positive note, the store is well stocked and clean. Today at 1740 I had to go to Canadian Tire to pick up new paint. I had just made it in time because they were closing at 1800. Fortunately I went to the Canadian Tire in Fort Frances, rather than to Menards since i received wonderful, prompt service and they did not even mind that i came late (lots of stores employees would give remarks showing up that close to closing time). I was helped by a very knowledgeable employee (I believe his name was Jordan, he used to work in automotive I believe) He helped me find the perfect paint and it was even on sale! 10/10 would go back again.

Purchased a replacement battery, for Mazda 3 2008 GT 2.3L Auto, their computers gave me the wrong battery. Advised I had to add a 2x4 piece of WOOD as the battery was too small, they blamed me stating I was wrong and the computer is correct, even showed them the original battery core was different. They advised there was nothing they could do, as the computer is correct. I have no modifications to my vehicle and they were unwilling to help me further. The help simply ignored you or disappeared when you came close. Seems to just be a place for the workers to hang out. The auto services tried to sell me fuel injection cleaning services on my less than a year old brand new car, saying my performance was less than half. They decided to inspect my car without asking me when I bought winter tires in order to upsell. was total BS, confirmed by the dealer of all places as well as an independent mechanic I also asked. Won't ever trust CT with anything car related because of it, which sucks because everyone says not to go to CT for car stuff and i was trying to give them benefit of the doubt until this.

So I select these alloy wheels for my Honda Accord and they ordered it for me. Yesterday I had my appointment to get them fit on my car. When I went at Canadian tire yesterday all of sudden they said these alloys are not fitting to your car which was ordered by them after taking all the information regarding my car. So the service department lady said you have to order new ones which will take 2 weeks and then they will have to book another appointment for me which takes forever or we have steel rims which I never wanted. Not only this the lady was not even accepting that its their mistake for not ordering the product I want , she told me this way that I am gonna save more money. In the end I had to compromise after waiting more than a month because I had no other option.

This store has everything you would expect at a Canadian Tire! They’re decor and seasonal items are always top quality. Don’t normally shop at Marks Work warehouse but we got some good quality compression pants. The staff at the counter was super friendly and helpful answer questions about the new triangle rewards and how I can put my paper Canadian Tire money onto it. Great store, well stocked!

Nice store, not too small or too big. Fairly complete and we'll stocked. Easy to locate and to get in and out of. This location also fills propane, including being able to fill tanks that are not remove able from big rigs. A little snug getting around the fill station if folks have parked near it but very doable. Very friendly and helpful staff as well. The one thing I wish is that they would set up a service to deliver large items, like a shed. I know we are an hour away but that kind of service means a lot to us and we would be willing to pay a reasonable fee for it. I highly recommend this store.

We had our car towed there because we were in an accident. We left by rental vehicle to our destination to come back at the end of the weekend to pick up the car and it was supposed to be repaired and ready for us to drive back home. When we came to pick it up nothing was done to it and they didnt even order the parts yet! The parts took over a week for them once they finally ordered it. So we had to carry on with our trip back home to NB with a rental vehicle which cost over $1500. When trying to pay for my work done from NB they would not accept credit card, bank transfers or cheques. We went and got a money order. John the owner didnt even know what that was! Then he was a real piece of work Rude, Yelling and Verbally Assaulting because we sent in a money order...I guess he wanted a certified cheque and didn't know what a money order looked like, Both are guaranteed funds. So after all his psychological mentally unstable attitude we find out that he wont release the car to the towing company even after the parts and service manager spoke to us and got our approval to release it. He is then telling us that we need to fax him authority to release it, that emails aren't accepted and hand written note scanned and sent to him is not accepted and that it HAS to be Faxed. As soon as he got on the phone he yells, telling me that my car has been a problem. This guy has NO customer service skills and when asked if he speaks to all his customers like this he admits and says YES, I DO! The rudest, mentally unstable man I have ever spoken too! If they had done the repair when we dropped it off as they said they were going to and completed the work on time we would not have had to spend $1500 on a rental $800 on towing to Kenora for auto shipping and $2000 to have it shipped back to us. Totaling $4300.00 expense to us because their work was NOT DONE! Instead we would have just driven our vehicle home fixed. All it needed was a wheel bearing!!!! Unbelievable!!!

A financial mistake was made while purchasing tires. I returned to the store, and talked to Colin at the customer service desk. He was super helpful and friendly. He helped as much as he could til the auto service manager Nicole got off lunch and corrected a fairly complicated issue. Not once did they make me feel as though I was bothering them even though they weren't the ones who made the mistake in the first place. Exceptional customer service is not easy to come by, but Canadian Tire definitely should do everything to keep these two employees happy!

We found a kitchen set on sale from 400$ to 160$(aprox), they had only 2 sets left ,we picked one and another lady picked the other one.Meanwhile we continued to shop for other things, while we were still at the same shelf a canadian tire worker came and removed the price for the set we just bought 10 minutes before, we thought ok maybe they are doing that because they are out of stock.At the case we had a surprise, apparently they made a mistake pricing that set and after the other lady still managed to buy the set for 160$ we couldn't.Manager came and his answer was "we allready fixed the price, what do you want now?? to sell you the set at a loss??". Rude and arogant manager and since people were waiting in line we just gave up since we couldn't really have a nice and calm conversation with him. I know people are making mistakes but the way manager handled this is a shame for this store. Ps: I am a regular customer of this store since 2012 witch today really disappointed me.

When I arrived to the store today there were 2 individuals standing at the entrance waiting to go in and another man approaching the entrance going in across from me, a member of the Canadian Tire staff (who might have been the owner of the store as he was not wearing the Canadian Tire uniform) was at the entrance guiding the line and letting people in as space became available due to capacity limits for retail stores in Ontario. The staff member told the man across from me that the two individuals waiting by the entrance were waiting to enter Marks Work Warehouse so if you were going into Canadian tire you were good to go in. I was behind the staff member so I’m not sure if he knew I heard him give the go ahead to enter the store if you weren’t going into Mark’s Work Warehouse. The staff member yelled at me as I walked in the entrance and proceeded to tell me I was inconsiderate among other things in front of the two individuals waiting in the Mark’s line, after I apologized and let him know that I was entering Canadian Tire not Marks Work Warehouse he called me inconsiderate for what I had did for the second time. From there I turned around and left the store. I wish I had a chance to say I was sorry to the two individuals waiting in the Marks line before I had left because I do not mind waiting in a line during these pressing times with capacity limits in stores, I am completely understanding of that, but I ended up going to my vehicle and crying in the parking lot for 15 minutes before I could continue home. I left feeling completely belittled. Perhaps I could have clarified with the staff member that it was okay that I went in as well, but I’m super frustrated with the customer service, I believe the situation could have been handled in a better and more respectful way. If I could give -10 stars I would.

Customer service is really something to be desired, they have a big desk that says customer service counter but the girl behind the desk is THE least helpful employee there, she just sends you to the cashes to wait in line for help with anything or bums you off to some other employee while you already stood waiting for 10 minutes for her to stop chatting with some "friends"
