Kendra is the best pet store staff member I have ever dealt with in Elliot Lake. I went into pet value in Espanola, I needed cat food, I left the store, the young man was a smart alec, so I left, and went home to Pet Value in Elliot Lake. There are 3 pet stores in Elliot Lake, I will only buy from Pet Value. Thank you, Kendra, and all staff, I have would never change.

The only good thing about this store is the size. Staff is not knowledgeable at all and sometime very rude. They keep trying to push their home brand of food (PERFORMATRIN) that is over priced and only average food. Much better food out there for that price range. Acana, Orijen. Pets are in small cages "to small for them" without water or food. Not pleased with my visit to this store.

Horrible service, went into Pet Valu Elliot Lake looking for a large bird cage. Had zero help from staff and even less help from the manager who was in fact in the store but would not come talk to me. Ok I drive down and manager on 30 MINUTE break! Wow most managers are available anytime! Soooo I wait a while but I give up! Amazon always open and eager! We took our lab to Groomingdale's at Pet Valu to get deFurminated. The groomer is a professional dog loving groomer! When it came time to pick our dog up, he didn't want to leave! I recommend Paige to anyone who is looking for a loving and caring groomer. I hope you disregard the other review...I think the reviewer was having a bad day! Just wanted to share my wife's experience at Pet Valu groomers this afternoon on Carry drive. Took our two black labradors and immediately the groomer was very curt, and not friendly at all. Returning after 2 hours (we were told an hour per dog when we booked) and was told one dog still had 45 mins to go. She said she’d call us when she had finished. My wife said she did not have time and to finish her off so she could take her. The groomer proceeded to clip our dog's nails, and in the process hurt her, she squealed and fell from the table (my wife saw this). The groomer broke her fall, so she didn’t fall to the ground but our dog has bad legs and is under the vet. She had to cling on and is now limping. I have complained to the manager and she has viewed the cctv, however apparently it was our fault as they needed more than 2 hours! Needless to say we won’t be going back again!
