My father-in-law was travelling for US and forgot his medicines as he is aging and forgets things quickly. I reached out to Mr. Shams and he was quickly able to help us out. I let the pharmacist at Medicine Market know that I could come back the next day to pick up my RX and he said it would be ready in 5 minutes. I have to say this is by far the best pharmacy I've been to. I live over an hour drive from their location and there are many other pharmacy's that are much closer but after the service I received here I will make the drive. The staff in my opinion went above and beyond as far as service goes. Diabetic supplies can be very expensive and this pharmacy made it possible for me to afford them without coverage. 5 stars and I would recommend to anyone looking for a knowledgeable staff and great care to go here. And an additional perk that I now enjoy from Shamas and staff as well is that they now carry my Freestyle Libre diabetic glucose scanning device and sensors. It's a non intrusive method of checking glucose levels and has changed my life drastically. I no longer prick my finger for blood sample, I just scan the sensor that has been placed on the backside of my arm and receive a accurate blood glucose reading. Not having to poke your finger for a blood test is amazing and these new machines where hard to find in town. My understanding is you have to order online straight from Freestyle website so for him to have them in stock here is a great help.

I just had another great visit with Shamas at the Medicine Market Pharmacy at 726-91 St. S.W. I have been dealing with him for years and am happy he has his own pharmacy now. When the flu shots were to be coming out soon he already had them and gave them to us early. He is so very helpful with my medications and since I am not on an insurance plan he seems to find ways to help me out sometimes which is really appreciated. He really knows his drugs and has watched over me very carefully to make sure I don’t mix what I should not be mixing and takes quite an interest in my health. If you are looking for personalized service, you can find plenty of that at the Medicine Market Pharmacy. I wasn’t just the next in line guy like I felt at those large chain stores. The pharmacist, Shamas Arshad, takes a personal interest in you and your health. He doesn’t simply dispense drugs but inquires about your health. Prescriptions are filled promptly and if needed, he has offered to deliver them. When my wife and I started getting our prescriptions filled there, it was only a matter of a couple of visits and Mr. Arshad remembered who we were and what our prescription were. Further, we get our flu shots there every year. We are in and out very quickly, much faster than the public clinics that are set up around the city each fall. I absolutely recommend the Medicine Market Pharmacy for all your drug needs.
