Made a online grocery order and my pick up time was between 12 and 1pm...I received an email around 11 saying my order was complete and ready for pick up....opened the app 2 let them know I was on my way and when I arrived the lady named Anna was bringing my order out....she was very polite and seemed happy....I will definately be doing my shopping from online more often at wal mart in Fort Erie.....

The Fort Erie location is small. You will struggle to find many products. Manager does not respond to emails. Staff will send you on a wild chase to find what you're looking for instead of saying they don't know. Too few registers open all the time.

For a Walmart it's cleaner than most and more spacious for sure. But falls to the stereotypical big box discount retail attitudes and look and feel. Things are not merchandised well and many items are strewn about in the aisles.

In particular the selection of men's clothing and sporting goods. I would hope the redesign picks up the pace and the selection improves.

Walmart is top ten grossing company in the world but they can't afford to get self-checkout machines that work.... Instead they have their much under paid staff watch you like a hawk.... the first couple times it made me uncomfortable and was quite annoyed that they were all over me and watching every button I press, asking if they could key in the code before I even had a check to try, etc. After going there a few times I realized the reason they were doing that is because WALMART CORPORATION is too cheap get machines that work like SAFEWAY, SUPERSTORE, or any other place in Canada that actually is fair to their employees and not just think about the bottom line. WALMART the WORLD hates you. SUPERSTORE is just as afford and has friendly staff (likely cause they are pay fairly). Think about it, Walmart makes their money off poor peoples backs, by forcing producers/suppliers to sell to them at cut throat prices, then pays their works a little as possible so that then the government will have to subsidized them in form of government programs ALL SO the rich executive can have another 100 K on they bonus cheques. WALMART even time I buy for you I feel like I am just making the rich richer while at the exact same time making the poor poorer. PS.... Negative 100 stars.

Love this Walmart! Everyone seems to agree. Amazing and helpful staff with quick checkouts. Best Walmart in Calgary for sure. To those who think that the staff can't find anything for you, it's because you're asking the wrong associate. I can't count how many times, being a cashier, asked for the most random of objects and having to constantly apologise for not being able to locate their item. We mainly work in the front-end, and we are just as clueless as you as to where your popcorn maker is. Thanks.

Finding the Silver Lining

Last time I use Walmart's online service. I ordered something online, it came defective, I tried to return it, and this Walmart wouldn't return it for me because their system was down. There should be some kind of contingency plan then if your system is going to be down. My time is valuable I don't have time to drive to every Walmart in the city to try and return something. Something that came to me already defective. From now on I'll stick to Amazon.

Walmart is no longer what it used to be: is no longer the place where you find unbeatable lowest prices. Not longer the case, now you need to be very careful to decide your purchase, because you will find a better deal with higher quality at the Real Canadian Superstore. Couple few things are always $100+. Most of the stuff is friendly, unfortunately not all like it used to be in the past. I know things changes, and so customers do: I am glad that the Real Canadian Superstore is across the street.

Called in my order and W/M and hooked up with them on the app. The groceries were ready to be picked up within 24 hours. They asked ( on the app) if I was okay with substitutions if they didn't have what I wanted. They switched 3 items and it was all good. ????

If zero stars were an option that is what they would get. Took a coffee maker to the till with some other items, waited in line to pay no problem yet. Since there were no boxed coffee makers on the shelf I had the display model - so my cashier says nope can't sell that. So the manager is on the till beside her and I politely ask if they can then check if one is available, as I would like this item. So manager says no we don't have any, so i wonder why they display items not for sale? Well I could look and see when we are getting more, ok please look. Well I have to help all the customers waiting in line - I point out I'm a customer who has been waiting in line. Outcome she wouldn't check on this item, and we left all items there and went to London Drugs where 3 out of 5 items were actually cheaper. Super bad customer care.

Being a black man, I’m use to my share of racism when making purchases, but to get it on multiple instances from my community Walmart still shocks me. I’m the type of person to shop weekly at this Walmart spending upwards of $400 in a week. Not much, but a fair share to spend at one store. Just trying to get some Christmas shopping done, I purchased a shopping cart full of gifts, and was harassed by security yet again as he let two other white shoppers leave the store un-harassed. From now on, I’ll just use Amazon to make my purchases. Amazon doesn’t judge you based on your skin Color and doesn’t ridicule you or harass you at the door making you look like you’re a thief. Embarrassed to see this happen in my community and happy to say that this Walmart has lost a 10+ year customer.

Supercentre is a bit of a stretch. This walmart is tiny and understocked beyond belief. They have no deli. A small meat section. A small bakery. Everything is small. If you have the time go 20 minutes further to the Niagara Falls location where it actually is Super. Do not waste your time here.

It's exactly what you would expect from a Walmart (Wally World) with lots of products at a lower price. Big parking lot as expected for parking. MCDONALD'S location inside. Grocery shopping area with electronics section. Shoes are cheap and end up feeling cheap as we have returned two shoes with holes in them. Great customer service. (if you can find them in the store) Electronic section seems lacking as a lot of is has shrunk and has been taking over by Apple.

Went to Walmart for replacement battery for my car. Went into auto care door. Note on door say "closed from 12 to 1 for lunch" which is fine. Went in at 11:53am so I figured I had time. No one there. Every time I go to the electronics department I get no help what so ever. I've never had anyone ask if I needed anything. One time I stood there for 20 minutes before deciding to just leave. The EBgames across the street gets all my business!!! Today I went in to get a 3DS game. I was waiting for someone to help me, there were FOUR people standing at the front just talking. Really ridiculous. I don't think I will ever try to buy video games here ever again. Loss of business.

4 star Update, the greeters came back super nice and welcoming security you do see are on the side but say hello and are very welcoming. kudos Walmart Move 21/2018. The new issue I've observed is the cashier using underhanded tactics to run a credit check on you asking for licence etc . Saying it's for discount few months back. Not lately though Security Walmarts at 130th Deerfoot Meadows in Calgary are making it an awkward place to shop, They are like new greeters except they just stare people down. I've been finding this attitude a bit confrontational and giving a sense of uneasiness. I like walmarts prices on some items and staff is usually friendly.

Of course I have been to a number of Walmarts as they are generally convenient and cost effective. That being said I have noticed that many of them are grossly understaffed and sometimes also understocked as well. At the 130th Walmart I was greeted by Rahim. A friendly older man that took the time to walk me all across the store to help me find a particular item I was looking for. He didnt hesitate and had a great conversation on the way. When I found my item there were many tills open so i didnt have to wait long to check out. It is those little things that make the shopping experience better.

Brought a question about a pricing dis crepancy to customer service. Instead of trying to resolve it I was accused of manipulating the stock in the store. Basically called a liar . Ended up returning all items . Although I showed staff at customer service the same product on the sale display no apology was forthcoming. I believe Walmart should invest some time explaining to customer service what customer service is. (Not customer aggravation)

Busy store in a great location. Good prices. The only complaint is that most of the staff don't seem to be skilled in customer service. The ones that are are excellent and helpful but they are few and far between. I remember when Walmart had a 10 ft rule where associates coming within 10ft of a customer were supposed to smile and say hello. I have actually witnessed associates actively avoid customers.

I advise you never, ever, to call this location. The phone will ring for about 20 min, you can try different departments, just to talk to SOMEONE, but you likely won't get anyone. IF you do, there's a good chance you'll get hung up on before even getting a word out. If you're really persistent, and finally make contact, they will tell you that they cannot help you because they either don't usually work in that department (I even actually did supposedly get someone in the dept I was looking for) so they don't know offhand if they carry the product you're looking for, and will put you "on hold" while they "look" (only if you ask them to), at which point you will hear them speaking unprofessionally about you/how they have no idea what they're looking for/got stuck in that dept etc. because putting you "on hold" is simply putting the phone down. Then, when they come back on the line to tell you that they don't have what you're looking for, they'll hang up on you when you try to thank them for looking anyway, despite your growing frustration. I have had similar experiences on two occasions when I was calling regarding a product I'd purchased or was looking for. Seriously, you don't want to waste your time or sanity. If I could give negative stars, I would. Worst. Customer service. Ever.

It was very well stocked and with options in clothing for adults and babies that we haven't seen at other Walmart's. We (my wife and I) found very nice clothes at amazing discounted prices. pure scam! if Walmart is the only store left on earth, i still won't go shopping there! that's how pissed off i'm with Walmart! since nowadays nothing only exists in Walmart, i will never step inside. for similar or identical items, i'll always go to another store. Walmart, you are in my blacklist for now, at least the one located on 130 ave. here's why. In the flyer, it's advertised that Mobil 1 5W-30 Full Synthetic Motor Oil 4 liter for 24.98 dollars. However, there's no such thing for 4 liter. In this store, all packages all came as 4.4 liters. 4.4 liters is NOT on sale and cost about 50 dollars. So for that extra 0.4 liter, we will have to pay almost double the price! that's the most expensive 0.4 liters I have ever seen! ridiculous! Insane! the manager didn't approve to change the price because of that 0.4 liter thing. if you don't care customers' satisfaction, don't feel surprised why you are not making money and don't complain if you go bankrupt, which should be in the near future if you continue to behave like that. Good luck walmart!

This WalMart is the worst I have ever visited. I travel to foreign countries often and am always relieved when I see a WalMart and have never been disappointed by my expectations. That changed with this location, not only with by the lack of inventory but with the lack of customer relation skills by all employees. They are unfriendly, not helpful in the least and are not knowledgeable on any item you may inquire about. Every time I have had to ask an employee about anything, down to where an item may be located in the store every single time the answer has been, “I don’t know”. Unbelievable, this is not the way any other WalMart operates at any other location across the globe. I had an issue that needed to be escalated to a manager on my last visit which just solidified my mind set completely. This assistant manager was not only rude but from the start already had made his mind up about the situation. Before I finished explaining things he cut me off and simply repeated what the employee had stated. Which in every other WalMart is not the way that would have been resolved but at this location apparently it is. After the manager cut me off I asked him for his name and a card , he told me his first name only as he walked off to his office. I had to ask the employee it again because I couldn’t even hear it clearly from him. I left that day and I will never go back into that location again. My advice to anyone reading this review is if you feel like you and everyone else should be treated with respect and be appreciated as a valued customer this in NOT the WalMart for you. Trust me when I tell you , you must be reading this review for a reason. Don’t patronize this WalMart .

Getting to, and leaving from this location is frustrating. The walmart was going through a redo. Lots of empty racks and open spaces. Did self check out and got out quickly. They must have a crime problem as there was a uniformed security guard stationed at the doors. Not my fave location.

You can usually find several deals at Walmart. Even the regular prices are usually cheaper than the other grocery stores. But they did charge me more then they should have for an item but I let it go , they also shorted me change $1 but I didn't let that go LOL everyone makes mistakes. We just need to make sure to pay attention when the ringing things through and handing us are change. But this is true for any store.

I ordered a fan yesterday online from the Fort Erie store, the fan wasn't in stock so I had to wait for a day for it to be delivered to the location I wanted. I ordered the fan for pick up so I wouldn't have to go in the store, when I got home and took the fan out of the box, not all the parts were there and I can't assemble the fan. I called customer service and they want me to go in the store to return the fan. WHAT IS THE POINT OF A PICK UP SERVICE if now I have to gi in to the store because the priduct didn't cime with all the parts.

This cannot be called superstore. Way too small. They NEVER have there shelfs stocked. Will start taking pictures to prove how bad this store is. It seems that they only care about the fridge areas. Also watch the pharmacy!!!!!! Since they changed the original ppl, prices have gone up and will go over what insurances pay. KEEP A ???? ON YOUR PRICES AT CHECKOUT. Also I refuse to use SELF CHECKOUT!!!!! They only have 2 cashiers working. They are taking jobs away. Sorry but that's my rant about this place GRRR Hi everyone, just wanted to give you all a update about wally aka walmart lol. I'm not sure if they seen my review, but all of a sudden they finally painted it the colors of superstore. They still r not superstore. They have 1/2 the bakery. Which is all garbage. Too many sweats out. Where is the fresh breads and buns? Where is the variety? Can't get birthday cakes, fresh baked goods. It's sad. If u drive to the one in Niagara Falls u will notice the difference. Everything is BIGGER. Pharmacy, Pet dept, baby items, food, beer,... You can paint your building, but you CANNOT ACCOMMODATE all the ppl that live here. We were much smaller going back, but we now have too many ppl moving here. Get with it, because I feel sorry for the elderly who can't get around and have to rely on these pathetic stores they have to shop at here☹.

I love wal mart. They genuinely have the best prices. They even sell stuff for cheaper than costco would sell at supposedly at whole sale price. This particular wal mart has a nice parking spots desginated for online pick up. This specific wal mart is huge and has everything your house may need.

The website for Walmart is very poor in terms of finding relevant information. I live in Ridgeway and it was challenging to find out if they have a pick up service in the Fort Erie location if one shops on line. Finally I found a tab for on line shopping. set up an account and spent time doing my shopping. Then I went to checkout only find that they don't have a pick up service in Fort Erie. Alas, I discover I could pick up my order in Niagara Falls. To do that I had to go to another tab to pick a time. There were no times available at all for the entire week (and that was the extent of their calendar). I then seen that I was eligible for free home delivery due to the amount of my purchase so I clicked on that tab. After a wait I received a message that I am outside of the delivery area. Things are very frustrating these days and this only contributes to more frustration. I would suggest that Walmart states at the beginning of the website that pick up service is not available in various locations. Also, at the top of the website they should indicate that pick up times are severely restricted. And right at the beginning they should indicate that delivery service is also restricted despite the amount of the purchase. This was a colossal waste of time and energy for me and I strongly suggest that their website be improved to provide relevant information for their shoppers. Very poor customer service/attention

Went looking for small sanitizer for attaching to my purse. None found on pharmacy area with sanitizer. Clerk says may be some somewhere else. Search by backpack area and travel stuff. Found kiddie ones by masks. Then found another worker and asked her about them and finally got what I needed. Can't all store workers find out where items are somehow or get a computer to check out what the customer is looking for. Very annoyed with this.

This is the Walmart that I frequently go to. They tend to have everything that I am looking for at very good prices. It is probably the most organized Walmart in Calgary.

Walmarts just drive me crazy the days and this one is brutal. Will NOT use self checkout when they make you pay for carts and bags. Then the service aisles are so slow they may as well be in reverse. Absolutely brutal.

This walmart is always well stalked. They have a good selection of clothes for everyone and a good turnover of clothes as well. The people at the Pharmacy are great. They have plenty of handycaped parking available and also bathrooms equipped for disabled too. At the back of the store they have 2 large "family" washrooms so even dad's can change the babies in style with fold down change tables. They accept pretty much all forms of payment. Has a McDonald's in store as well as an optical store and usually sets up tax cubbies each year.

Very few staff members speak English or understand English well enough to be working in a customer service environment. I have started shopping elsewhere because I can get my shopping done faster where someone understands what I am saying and knows how to bag groceries. Walmart standards for hiring have always been low pretty much if you have a pulse and haven't been convicted of a crime yet you have a job but I guess thi go are getting worse for them too not only do you get hassled every time to take their crappie credit card but they charge for their crappy bags that the cashiers try to over stuff. Get your shot together Walmart or the next store that come to Canada may actually take you out.

It good place.. staff is nice and professional but always shortage of staff... most counters are closed ... been there about 30 times in last 3 months...washrooms are always so dirty... need to work on those... but still it’s nice place as the managers and lead members are always on floor to look after things

This store is awful. They all are. Staff is difficult to find, and when you do find someone they generally can't help you. At least they have self checkout now, because their checkout system is the absolute worst! I avoid shopping here at all costs. Except today, obviously lol, because I was looking for a dvd. And surprise surprise they didn't have it.

The place was a mess and they need more change rooms as 3 of them were closed due to lock problems. Waited for more than half an hour to try on 3 items. Very disappointing

Duty manager Tammy needs customer service training. Yelling at customers and laughing at their medical disabilities while mocking them is totally unacceptable and unprofessional. I have never felt so offended and belittled in my life. What should have been a fun experience with my son to get him a new bike turned into a horrible nightmare. Trying to explain to my son what just happened and why is hard to do when even you are unsure. If grocery items could be ordered off the website I would never set foot in there again.

The store is always cluttered and almost ransacked looking, my staff interaction experience was poor and the cleanliness leaves a lot to be desired. The cashier hardly paid attention and I needed to direct her to sale prices several times and she still rang in the purchase incorrectly. The customer service person seemed offended that I wanted difference between what I was charged and what the correct price was refunded. I had to go take pictures of the shelf and the tag as proof. This store WAS amazing when it first opened and now I avoid going to it.

Good location. There is almost every store or restaurant in this neighborhood of plazas that you could possibly want to visit. Although becouse this area has so many shops make sure to lock your valuables hidden in the trunk as I've noticed individuals walking around aimlessly. It could probably use some security service, I would quess but I'm only speculating.

I just left this Walmart and very upset that when I cashed out in self service the cashiers there are watching you like a hawk. I understand that at this time we are under limitations of essentials only ....it seems I had a few items that fell under this category but my issue at hand is that this young cashiers instead of informing me of such items she just helped herself to the items in my cart. I believe the right thing to do since we are still human beings is to explain her concerns then im gladly happy to give them back to the store and not her putting her hands on my items in my cart without talking to me first. We are still dealing with Covid and her touching my items and not standing more than 6 feet away was incorrect in my book. Someone needs more training in PR. I wish I had looked at her name tag but I didn't. She looked no more than 25 curly brown hair worn tied up. I'm not one to write such reviews but she really upset me the way she just helped herself into my cart. Not appropriate to do these days for hersafety and mine. Helen
