Friendly clean and great pharmacy service
Helpful staff
The waiting time for things is absolutely absurd.
Clean store but higher prices.

Great service
Most horrible pharmacy ever! No patient confidentially at all from the pharmacist! Making jokes out loud about the patient's disease. Also, the pharmacist said that my private insurance didn't cover one of my medication. However, as soon as I switch pharmacy, my new pharmacist told me that the pharmacist from Jean Coutu just needed to call my insurance. Because of the incompetency of the PJC pharmacist, I paid more than 100$ while I would normally pay 20$. Never again!!!!
Very helpful people and experienced in there field ,keep up the good work.
The staff personnel is helpful!

(Translated) Worst possible customer service at the laboratory level, arrogant, long and independent, I am not speaking to you of French totally massacred IF, spoken, which is not obvious. For example (among so many others) I needed a product behind the counter. Far from being busy, I waited 40 minutes to see the pharmacist, after this time ... without seeing him, I left ... I was the only one sitting in the waiting room during all this time ... at the worse look up if you ever forgot about me !!!!! The cosmetics department is perfect. They are kind, professional and caring.
Very nice easy to get to
Very caring staff. It's easy to get help with the things you ate looking for.
One of the staff is just very rude. If we order meds for our baby 5days in advance she would complain why it’s too early. Now if we order 1-2days in advance then it would still be a problem because the notice is too short it is frustrating. Each time we ask for delivery it is very stressful having to deal with the staff with attitude. We are always polite and calm but it is too much already. I hope they will speak to their staff and teach them good customer service ethics.
The staff here is very friendly and very understanding. After my debacle at Pharmaprix Dorval - they were more than happy to do everything to help me. They’ve helped me several times get the right medications as well as renew my scripts. The team is so friendly that they remember my name! Going to the pharmacy used to a unpleasant chore, now, it is like visiting friends.
Excellent service...

I requested a small change in my prescription and the girl behind the counter said OK and got the prescription filled and promptly gave me the wrong Rx. When I politely explained she started screaming and threw my prescription across the room and stomped off. She was very young and very overweight, likely being related to the owner. Everyone was shocked by her behaviour including the pharmacy owner, no one came fwd to apologise or help. I waited at the counter for 10 minutes and no one attempted to help me. I went to Pharmaprix next door and they were able to get my all prescriptions from Jean Coutu transferred to them. Jean Coutu has made mistake before and this time it was over the top. I'm glad I no longer have to deal with them.
Thank you for the great Help..!!
I am no longer a customer of Jean Coutu Dorval pharmacy. Very low rating in every thing. It has one star only because I can't post with no stars.
(Translated) The pharmacists are super nice, give good advice, are very accessible. We find what we are looking for, the place is clean and well located. (Original) Les pharmaciens sont super gentils, donnent des bons conseils, sont très accessible. On trouve ce qu'on cherche, l'endroit est propre et bien situé.
Presently closing at 7pm due to curfew
Manager forces me to wear a mask when I inform her of my Asthma condition and have been informed by the Editeur du Quebec, the Depute of Dorval Gouvenrement QC that my condition givens me the right of exemption, provided by the Gouv below. The ignorant one repeats on autopiler 'This is the law, you have to exit' Or then she tells the tmy ONLY option is to give her my personal card to do the shopping for me.. I said no Thank you, put on the mask, did my shopping.. just to have my asthma attack start at the cash register. The ignorance of the manager and the inhuman service is awful, and coming from our local community pharmacy who is suppose to be there for our health is very unsupportive.
(Translated) Large, neat, well filled displays however the pharmacy service is quite slow, several minutes of expectations every time we show up for us or the kids. The cash is fast. (Original) Grand, ordonné, présentoirs bien remplis toutefois le service pharmacie est assez lent, plusieurs minutes d'attentes à chaque fois qu'on se présente pour nous ou les enfants. La caisse est rapide.
Ok
Nice friendly pharmacy
Pretty good store although some stuff is over priced.
Ok
Staff is extremely pleasant and helpful. Called in to get a copy of my receipt and it took 30 seconds to find and print.

I understand there are a lot of changes and fear going on in the world right now. I understand that people/businesses must take extra precautions, ask questions, and educate themselves on how to live life with the an ongoing pandemic encompassing our daily lives. There are many reliable and informative resources to help navigate your everyday decisions regarding our newly adopted convid-19 lifestyles. Then there are many opposing articles/news outlets that have no substance behind their material that cause fear and persuade individuals to make poor judgements. The latter is what was presented when I attempted to enter THIS particular Jean-Coutu on Saturday April 11th, 2020. At the front door I was asked the now regular questions: Do you have a sore throat? Do you have fever? Do you have a cough?. All my responses were a solid “No.” Then I was asked, “what have you been doing for the past 14 days?” I responded, “I have been working. I’m a nurse.” Without hesitation, the Jean-Coutu employee replied, “I’m sorry, I can’t let you in. I don’t know if you have the virus. You may be asymptomatic but you can still carry it. I can bring out whatever you need to buy, but you have to wait outside. I just can’t let you in for everyone’s safety.” There was no changing this employees mind. I just couldn’t comprehend the idea that even though I checked all right boxes on the covid-19 interview sheet, my profession would seclude me from entering a pharmacy. The level of misinformation that this individual had been given, or the policies the manager had taken upon themselves to implement, was deeply upsetting. I was being refused entry into a pharmacy because my chosen profession (for the last 13 years) licences me to care for the sickest individuals in Montreal. This is not new news. Healthcare workers have been doing this for a VERY long time (and we’re pretty damn good at it too). The level of precaution taken by myself and other healthcare workers, when caring for a POSSIBLE covid-19 patient (not to mention other diseases), is overabundant when compared to what this particular Jean-Coutu manager provides it’s frontline employees: Simple face mask, no face shield, no eye protection, no hair covering, no protective gown, allowing employees to use gloves but touch their cellphones/face/hair with the same gloves, exposing their own jacket/pants/shoes to every customer entering and leaving the front entrance. It’s unfortunate that during these times of apprehension and self-isolation, a company would purposely take steps to segregate individuals who are fighting to help Montreal in its time of need. Thanks for showing your true colours. Oh, the items I wished to purchase that morning were: Easter cards and presents for my twins first Easter. Don’t worry, Pharmaprix had everything I needed at an excellent price.
My favorite pharmacy in Quebec.
Very disappointed, received an email to book a flu vacine at Jean Coutu, and when I tried to book said that there are no appointmenrs available. Had to go to Pharmaprix for the 3rd year in a row. I have been with Jean Coutu over 25 years and always have a very hard time to get an apt. I either go the drugstore or try calling and always told they are booked solid.
the best
I called the pharmacy and they told me it takes 2 hours to get my medication ...this is ridiculous!!!. They don't care ! At other Jean coutu it takes less than 15 min to get your medication ... And this is not the first time they do this.
Overall a good place to shop. I have an issue with their restocking of some products I like. One article I have been checking on line for weeks, always out of stock. PJC Lachine had a count of 6 last week, today 50! Can't be that difficult to obtain.
(Translated) Very bad service..no possibility to refund cane ..the price above..the manager really wanted to get rid of the problem! And me !! I ask for a gift card..no more..very..very bad !! This is purely a review so that the pharmacist owners give more hours/put more man-power in processing faxes. My doctor has faxed my renewal 2 times, and they faxed him once for the renewal request. Finally 1 month later things are square. This is not at all a problem from my doctor’s end as he responds within minutes to my e-mails.
One day this store will only rely on visitors coming across the street from hotels due to their rude staff and unprofessional services.
Great service at the cash from Danika! Very helpful and kind
