If you 'enjoy' being kept hostage in your home awaiting a delivery of IV medication, then this is the spot for you. Horrific customer service from their delivery team. One delivery was received at 11:00 pm, this week- a morning delivery was requested which arrived at 4:20 pm. Subpar service is a compliment here. Thursday delivery service is far better than their Monday driver. The simple monopoly of being one of few in Montreal to offer IV medication delivery has allowed this Pharmacy to keep their standards LOW.

Although I interacted with them only in English and they are located within a primarily English speaking hospital, they somehow found it appropriate to print the instructions on my pill vial and hand me an information sheet about the narcotics I was prescribed in French only. Highly irresponsible in my opinion.

My mother called this Proxim pharmacy yesterday morning and told a female employee at the lab if it would be possible to have her iron infusion delivered first because she and I were going to a luncheon. The person on the other line said yes, and that it would be delivered by 1 PM, this is fine. 2:00 PM passed by and still no delivery of her prescription. She called, and the same employee at the lab spoke to her, and assured my mom that the delivery person left at 1:30 PM, and that they should be on their way. 3:15 PM: Still no iron infusion. My mother is an elderly woman, but is astute enough to understand how incredibly frustrating this is. I'm also sitting next to her, and by this point, we are incredibly late to our lunch party. She calls them again, and without even saying hello, the exact same lab employee asks rudely, "You again?" My mother feels like she's being talked down to, and not once did the person on the other line apologize. My mom asks if they could contact the deliveryman to send over the prescription right away. 4:35 PM. The deliveryman arrives. I was there witnessing this whole thing transpire, and I am absolutely astounded by the incompetence of the employees at this Proxim pharmacy. At this point, we could no longer go to our lunch party because everyone had left since it's almost 5 PM. My mother calls the pharmacy one last time to let them know that they delivered the prescription hours late, ruining our party, stressing us both out, and not once did they apologize. The same female lab worker just says, "Oh well, have a good evening." Really? This entire debacle is absolutely ridiculous. I have worked for Jean Coutu for 8 years at the lab at Westmount, and never have I ever witnessed such incompetence from a pharmacy until I came across this Proxim. My own mother has been working at Cumberland / Jean Coutu since 1974, and still works at Jean Coutu part-time to this day. She too has never seen such unprofessionalism at a pharmacy in her life. So yes, I do not recommend this Proxim pharmacy at all. At all! My mom had her iron infusion at the CLSC today, and her blood pressure was high this morning because of the stress she endured from this pharmacy. She told some of the nurses at CLSC what had happened, and they were very appalled. She even had to apologize to our relatives yesterday who invited us for lunch since we couldn't make it, but explaining that it was Proxim that ruined our plans. Never again will we go to this pharmacy! We will stick with her Jean Coutu at Queen Mary instead. The only reason we chose Proxim was because it was nearby. But this was a huge mistake. If I could give this less than a one-star rating, trust me, I would do it in a heartbeat!

Don"t work as delivery driver here. They don't manage this well and the work is awful for drivers. Even for the pharmacy assistants the work is very demanding.

Since the pandemic started, I have relied on the staff of this pharmacy to communicate with my physician by facsimile to renew my medications. They have been prompt in renewing my meds and the delivery service has always been a valuable source for me. Thanks to all the staff!

Delivery service is a nice option, however, the service does leave much to be desired. Important medication delivered to the wrong address. Business phone does not have a switchboard or "call waiting". If you're unlucky enough to call when the line is busy, you won't be put on hold or be given the option to leave a message. Beyond that, the clinic is located in a mainly Anglophone area, in an English hospital, yet all information pertaining to prescriptions is provided exclusively in French. This can be borderline dangerous. Great idea, terrible execution.

Loved one spent an hour by the desk waiting for her medication. Service was only given after asking for the Rx to be withdrawn and moved to another pharmacy. Staff do not listen to customers concerns for understanding, will interrupt you to answer irrelevant and unasked questions. Manager is unapologetic and smug in attitude. Definitely wouldn't go back to this pharmacy whether or not my life depended on it.

This is my usual pharmacy for my prescriptions, originally out of convenience, both because I lived nearby and because I have regular appointments at the hospital. I live farther away now, and I could probably switch pharmacies, but I am completely satisfied with my experiences here, plus it's still convenient to refill prescriptions when I'm in the building for an appointment.

They were good at the beginning until they did a big mistake this week and don't take responsibility: I receive Humira (medication needing to be kept refrigerated) at room temperature (I open the box and the pens were at room temperature). No ice pack nothing, only wrapped with plastic. That makes me mad because this is a 1600$ medication. They said they are not responsible because they have a "cooler" when doing delivery. Very disappointed this is not an honest pharmacy so be aware ????

I find the pharmacy technician quite argumentative when asked simple questions and unwilling to help. However, the young pharmacist was helpful. I would rate overall service at 3 and i would buy medication from there only if I have to.

Great staff, best part of this pharmacy is the fast and free Delivery exactly when i want it. I once had to pick up medication and in order to avoid having to park my car, the pharmacist came out and brought the medication to me, that is great service.

Terrible service I’ve been receiving from the pharmacy, every time I needed to get my IV prescription ready they forget to prepare and I have to wait at the counter, if I ask for delivery the also forget to prepare and keep me waiting at home without being sure if my medicine is going to be deliver. Seriously is not pizza we are ordering, is medicines. Update: Here I’m one week after picking up my 6th prescription for IV treatment and again nobody new I was coming even though I called 24 hrs in advance I talked to Federica. I was supposed to pick it up at 9am, showed up at 9:30am and still not ready. Is not a random fact that 6 out of 6 times the pharmacy had issues preparing my prescription. The manager at the counter just said: I’m sorry, wont be long. Very, very disappointed!

Have gotten meds here for several years. Excellent care always. The owner / pharmacist is extremely caring and helpful and always does his best. Delivery is always good. I understand that there are many deliveries and I am not demanding re time as it all depends on traffic however when there was an urgent need they went above and beyond to deliver quickly. Grateful for their services.

Had my prescriptions filled for Venofer and had them delivered to the West Island. Service was good in the beginning. Then I gave instructions to deliver to an alternate address and even reminded the person on the phone one/twice before hanging up to make note that delivery is to go to alternate address after 5pm. 2 weeks ago, driver called saying he was at my house and no one is home. I told him that he was at wrong address as the prescription was to be delivered to an alternate address across town. Now today, I happened to pass by my parents' place to check on the house and found that my prescription was delivered and left in the mailbox. This is unacceptable to be just left in mailbox, and on top of that when I called in my prescription, I gave specific instructions to deliver to alternate address and to be sure to make a note of it so that the driver doesn't go to the wrong location again. This place for me is a hit or miss. Might have to consider another Pharmacy that can follow instructions and ensure the safety and security of medication that is delivered. Follow up to owner response:: I did call you BEFORE I posted this review! It's because of my conversation I posted such review! You didn't accept responsibility You didn't do anything to fix the major issue at hand You didn't give me a reasonable answer as to why you left my iron iv bag in my mailbox!

Please, do not open a file with this pharmacy. They are terribly disorganized. Examples: Calling to find out if they have a medication in stock, being told they do, and after driving over to pick it up they the realize they don't. After checking my bill I realized that they charged me, along with my other meds, for the one that was out of stock. I asked them to reimburse the mistake.... They told me I had to come back when the owner was there On four seperate occasions they have messed up my order. And finally worst of all, I've been waiting for one medication that has been in back order since a long time. They told me today it was still unavailable. They are so unreliable that I called my old pharmacy to find out. And guess what!? It's not even in backorder anymore!! I would never ever rely on this pharmacy for anything.... Not even medication advice.
