. what kind of a seafood department doesnt have stock of a front page sale item on day one at 8am, ok fine maybe they just dont have it out yet so i will ask to see if they have it but heres the other problem what grocery store doesnt have anyone working in seafood department until 1 hour after they open... i dont know Dominion but someone dropped the ball here on this one

Not a big fan on this Dominion, I only do here for for deals. Other than weekend afternoons, there are always long lines at the cash. They never have enough open and staff often just standing around looking. Definately do not look for quick shopping trip over your lunch or after work.

It doesn't matter how the rest of the store is if the register lineups are ridiculously long, and that's the case here. I don't know if it's the fault of local management, higher-ups, can't get enough employees, etc., but something needs to fixed. I haven't shopped here in years for this reason.

It's the " Canadian Superstore " but the Newfoundland version. It's got a nice bakery. And good selection of everyday groceries. I wouldn't recommend the Joe fresh line of clothes. For anyone. But otherwise. One of the best grocery stores in the region

I simply love dominion, the layout, the great variety of products, the freshness and quality of the entire place make it the best grocery store in town. They offer products and brands you won't find in any other store in Corner Brook, they got a liquor store and bring a wide range of international stuff. And on top of that, the self checkout completes the whole experience, it's so easy and comfortable to use. I know it sounds silly to be so excited about a grocery store. But it simple adds a lot when you live in a small city.

I love the variety and selection at this store but always dreaded the long lines at the cash. Since they installed self checkout lines have been a lot shorter. Since Covid-19 and the the new way of shopping is here I have to say kudos to this store. It's one of the few places that I have been that have extra staff and really carry out the social distancing rules by keeping an eye on the customers to make sure things are running smoothly and safely. Thank you for coming to work so we may get essentials and keep up the great work Dominion staff!

Only had couple items, employee told me had to wait in line. Asked if no express cashier I was told no after waiting in line when I finally got to front noticed several customer were lined up at the express line I told the employee about it she just left me at the front of the line for another 10 minutes everyone behind me was getting upset also. Had to flag down another emplyee ask if we could process to a cadhier worst service ever.

It's a local grocery store, it has a lot of P.Choice / NN products and other brands items. Close by( within a block or so) is Walmart, Cdn Tire store/ Gas Bar. Tim Hortons coffee and others stores. All these stores are on the perimeter of a massive parking lot, easy access to/ from the Trans Canada Highway.

Dominion has the largest selection of a lot of items but often lacks in quality. For example the have a wide variety of canned tomatoes and barbeque sauces but on the other hand they have the worst fresh section out of all grocery stores in Corner Brook. Stock doesn't seem to get pulled often and rotten fresh items and out of date cooler items is extreamly common. Make sure to check your produce and dates a little more closely when shopping here. Stockers and other floor staff are very helpful and polite and for the most part the cashiers are good as well. They do have a few cashiers that I avoid as they are or have been unprofessional or rude.
