I needed some reactine and wanted to buy the cheaper generic brand but theirs was over 10$, so I went to the nearest grocery and found what I needed there on sale for 6$. I like many things in this store but find them too overpriced, so I wait for sales.

Will not go back to this store. It is UNSAFE as they are not enforcing physical distancing rules. I attended the store last eve, keeping my distance at all times. Down an aisle by myself and a 20 something man came and stood directly beside me! I raised my voice and told him to get away immediately. Complained to store staff and they said that they do not have the right to ask a customer to leave, and they were saying out loud that they don`t know what the policy is. ******Follow up: just spoke with store manager, Stacey. She was excellent on the phone, and will be talking to staff as they DO have the right to ask customers to leave the store. Thank you Stacey. Stay apart, stay safe!

I am a regular customer at this Shoppers for both the store and Pharmacy because it's a convenient location close to home. I will give this Shoppers zero stars for the service that they provide. Especially for the Pharmacy department. I usually call them a day ahead to make sure that they will fill in my prescription. Yesterday, (a girl which I never got her name) told me the prescription will be ready at 8am and will be ready for pick up for whenever I could come get it. But today I arrived at the pharmacy and they told me my prescription was still not ready. Apparently my prescription was "still on queue." It has been multiple times where I went in store to pick up my medication and this is the response I would get from them. "It's still not ready." It will be in 15-20 min but again I would call them a day ago to let them know. Today, I went there at 11 am and only when I asked the pharmacist or technician for a response. She told me it will be ready at 2pm. They clearly do not value their customers' time. Every time they are inefficient in delivering.

I am a Cornwall resident. And I had to go to perth to be with my 80 year old mom during covid to be with her and help her. I am happy to do so. I am a diabetic and other difficulties. I transfered my diabetic back to this shoppers. It was my shoppers. I need my lifestyle monitor. They aren't helping me. I even had to call myself to pharmasave in perth to . To even get help. Called shoppers and the hung up on Mr. I'm trying to get off my insulin and feel better. Shoppers in perth made Mr cryvwhen the wouldn't help Mr. I feel so tired and now I don't know my dugat levels. MYbd if I called the police for help. I don't know. Shoppers on second. Worst person I ever talked to. I hope I just get my monitor. Do I can try to help myself to be healthier. They should not have hung up on me and left me feeling this way.

Generally I find myself waiting in a line of 5 or 6 people with only one cashier. Other times I have stood at the checkout counter for 5 to 10 minutes alone waiting for a cashier. I will not support self checkout. I’ve actually avoided shoppers for so long I don’t think I’ve been there in 6 months. Ive gone into shoppers several times looking for an electronic item on sale in the flyer which they never have. Why advertise it in the flyer if you don’t carry it?

Nightmare dealing with this pharmacy. My doctor sent a prescription over for 2 items. I went to fill it and when I opened the pkg a day later, one was missing. Called the pharmacy and got through after several calls and 10 minutes - you best press doctors office or your likely to be ignored - I called back - they were out of stock and DIDN'T EVEN TELL ME at the counter. What if this was a serious life-threatening situation - they don't tell you they can't fill it and let you find out once you have left. Outrageous! Then they were going to try to get the doctor to order an alternative - I asked the pharmacist assistant about the alternative and what was in it - after he struggled 6-7 minutes to tell me and couldn't I asked to speak to the pharmacist who said they were able to get the original prescription???. Went to get it, 8 people in the line. I gave up and called to get it sent home - then the person said they weren't sure if they could drop it in my secured mail slot that goes directly into the house and had to ask the manager. On and on, one assistant blamed covid for the delays and the fact they can't answer the phone or handle their workload - did it occur to them to hire more staff, put in another phone line, use some common sense???!! I'm done with this place, horrible, horrible 2 day experience. Shoppers Eramosa, forget your written response to this - do something about it, so this nonsense never happens again.

In my last visit the staff member who assisted me referred me to a Pharmacy group and saved me money on my prescription. I cannot speak highly enough of the staff and their kindness and support. The male pharmacist at this location is very rude, condensing, and frankly just mean. He blamed me for not knowing my doctor changed my medication, this was not something my doctor and I talked about. So, naturally I had questions about this new medication and this pharmacist went off on me. The customer service reps are lovely there, but I'm going to have to switch pharmacies as this wasn't the first incident where I felt belittled by this employee who controls my medication.

Shoppers drug mart one of my favourite place to buy beauty and health products. This location has lots of underground parking, unlimited time and main floor parking for 45 minutes. Accessible parking lots are also available, close to this store. Has a variety of products. Store size is big. There are other facilities and stores in this plaza. Price is reasonable. Staffs are very friendly, knowledgeable and professional. Always had good customer service. Highly recommend others to try this store.

I can’t believe I have to make a review such as this… my sister came home in tears after a racist remark was made against her in the shoppers drug mart by the beauty consultant named Erica. She was told that she was unable to purchase multiple of one item (which was obviously a subjective rule) in order to resell overseas. My sister was just trying to buy Christmas gifts at an affordable price after Covid. I’m honestly speechless. Don’t bother going to the shoppers drug Mart Brookdale is way better. I

Consistently frustrated by the pharmacy at this location. They don't have common meds on hand (even standard antibiotics) often give you just a few days and make you come back. As I have to drive 20 mins both ways to come in this is very frustrating. The organization is also lacking. It frequently takes 20 mins to locate a filled prescription. Even if you called in to verify your meds are ready you might show up and find out they are not ready, or are incomplete.

I can’t imagine that nowadays also these type of racist, unprofessional,mannerless people exists. Their is a guy working here he wear spacks. Age around 30-40 . Doctor prescribed me a medicine as i am suffering from alot serious disease. This prescription has to be taken only at the medical store eveyday. And when a person like me whoes looks are not canadian . I am indian , goes to the shoppers at king st. Kitchner. The pharmacist refuse to give medications and made some unnecessary excuses. It was not the first tym before i live somewhere else their at nearest shoppers. , this has been never happend in 3 months . Buf here he said to me identity this that is not written of medicine slip. But my name and address was properly mentioned on the top. Then i went tomy docto next morning andexpalin the situation and he then wrote me a medicine slip with my driving license number printed on it. (By the way the doctor clinic is 2 hours far from my house). With the new medical slip i went again to same shoppers . Then again. He refused to give me medicine. You know why because i went to store at 8:48pm. And they were closing at 9. Again I didn’t got medicine. He doesn’t even think once that how imp medicine could be for someone who is suffering. These type of people should not be given this job. I pray to god for CANADA.

I went to this location to pick up rapid antigen business test provide free for by the government. The owner argued with me for a good 10 mins about proof of business address which was not even required for pick up. The level of incompetence it takes to argue unnecessarily with a custom over something like this is astounding. Completely in the wrong, and zero apology for his actions. Unbelievable.

They always go above and beyond for the patients. I even did a free A1C test in this pharmacy and it only took 5 minutes to get the result. I really recommend this pharmacy.

Shoppers Drug Mart 136 Princess (Bagot and Princess Streets) is a very busy downtown drugstore. Peggy and Cindy are great examples of personalized service. Actually, there are others and I intend to edit and rewrite and include the others names in this review. You can find almost everything you'll ever need in this store, yes, it is expensive for the points you get. They do have great sales on food at times so do take the time to look at the frozen food sections while your there. I will give you a warning however, make sure you have gone to the bathroom before you go shopping as the bathrooms downtown are usually in disrepair.

Note : pharmacy related Issues: I call this pharmacy every 2 months for my refill minimum wait is about 35 minutes and sometimes no answer. I know you should self-service (auto refill) but they never get it right . I know it's really hard run a big business nowadays . My daughter and i were at this location at around 4:45 pm today March 14 to pick some necessities when we noticed almost right after we stepped into the store, we were being watched and followed by security guard. We didn’t understand why we were being followed as we were just browsing around. The store was quite busy yet he only lingered where we were. I can’t help but think that we were victims of racial profiling as we’re both asian. My daughter had initially thought that he just so happened to be near us, but by the time we stepped out she was just as enraged as i was. He made it obvious that he was watching our every move. He even went so far as to watch us as were paying. All i can say is that I’m disappointed and insulted. We’re regular costumers, but never would i have thought that we would have to experience this. I won’t be coming back here.

Absolutely terrible service in the post office dept. A staff member was incredibly rude and slammed down the phone on me. When I phoned back and told her manager she lied to him and said that "foul language was involved" - absolutely NOT! I have never had such terrible service- this woman should be in the back working on shipments instead of dealing with customers if she cannot control herself. Terrible representation of the store. I have to say the manager I spoke with was courteous and tried to help with the situation I had originally phoned in about (instead of slamming the phone down like she did). I sincerely hope they take her out of customer service. She clearly has no social skills or respect.

Pharmacy is a complete disaster. Prescriptions are never ready when scheduled to pick them up. More than often they do not have the desired prescriptions in stock, and you have to wait a few days to get them. The place is a zoo of you're filling a prescription on the spot, prepare to wait at least and hour if it's in the late afternoon, early evening. The sketch bags that come in to get their methadone medicine or whatever it is they're after seem to have no problem coming in and out without any waits at all. Seems the Shoppers is adequately staffed but the pharmacy is severely lacking staff. Our family has decided to switch pharmacies, the constant let down at this location isn't up to expectations at all. Also forgot to add there is one older lady that works the cash that just refuses to ask you if you would like or need a bag. Then she acts surprised and almost flustered when you let her know you would like one, and it's a huge thorn in her side that now she has to grab a plastic bag from right in front of her. It's not my fault the bag is 5 cents and you didn't ask me if I needed a bag before cashing me out. Terrible.

Service at the pharmacy is chaotic and unpredictable. The retail store is fine, but most of the staff seem to hate working there and the pharmacy seems to have too many clients to serve efficiently. They have made countless mistakes and have trouble with basic math related to prescription quantities. I transferred my prescriptions to a smaller pharmacy and have never went back.

During the first week in August this year 2019 my oldest sister Loretta had passed away , but Loretta lived in Hamilton Ont. Witch was around 4 - 4.5 hrs away , now I'm an amputee so I needed to get a ride with my youngest sister who live's in Selby north of Napanee Ont , now we needed to be in Hamilton Ont for 2:00 PM on Thursday but I had a prescription due Thursday morning. So to make it on time I needed to go to Selby, on Wednesday afternoon or evening and we'd have to be on the highway by 9 am Thursday morning, so I asked the pharmacist if she could fax my Dr's office and ask for an early release, just so happens, her name is Loretta also, she was so polite and a whole heck of alot calmer than I was said not a problem she could take care of that right away for me , I called in on Monday morning and was hoping that it would be there for at the latest Wed afternoon, Tuesday late afternoon sure and behold the pharmacist that was on duty had called and left me a message on my answering machine said I could pick it up it was ready , when I received it getting home late that night I called and asked when they closed,, so she told me I replied that I'd be there probably at the last minute she said ok and I made it with 5 minutes left ,, she , sorry I didn't catch her name ,, but she was so caring, and you could feel that she ment every word , that she wasn't just talking to sound good , every thing went well , for the time being, . 2 weeks later we were having problem's finding the paper work from my Grandmother's will so scrambling around my youngest sister was pulling her hair out as she was looking after things we needed to move Loretta from Hamilton home to Kingston Ont to be buried here Kingston is about as close to our real stomping grounds as possible, we grew up mainly on the south side of Napanee about 15 minutes out of town, anyway again I needed my prescription in a hurry, because you see just because your pharmacist sends a fax to you Dr dosent meen that the nurses are in no meens in any hurry to show them to your Dr ,,, now. With all the hustings around 2 weeks ago I didn't see that there were no refills,, so Monday morning again Shopper's faxed my Dr and normally if it busy he'd fax things in after hrs , but nada nothing ,, well that pharmacy's right on top of thing's,, they faxed and refaxed my Dr for a refill and finally they received it and said it would be at least an hr that they were very busy, and that they were, but I explained that I'd already postponed my PSW personal support worker , but I had an other appointment for 11:30 am and it was10:40 am so I explained about my PSW and my appointment, ,, WOW WOW that team helped me out again,, I was in and out within less than a half an hr ,, and on my way ,, now I didn't catch all their names but I could hugg each of them for all they helped me out with,, Well except the one and I don't think he'd like it to well ,, but I think he's new , I'd never seen him before, and I don't go hugging men either,.. THANK YOU SOOO MUCH pharmacy team , and believe me I'll find out witch one is Loretta as she got the ball rolling from the start for me .. So if your ever downtown Kingston Ontario and you need a drugstore, you're best bet and the only stop you'll need is at the SHOPPER'S DRUG MART AT 136 PRINCESS ST KINGSTON ONTARIO!!! POST OFFICE - - I had a package delivered to Canada Post (it was a gift and I didn't want the person in the household to open it before I got home) my name was on this package. - I went to Shoppers Canada Post- spoke with Brooke, who could not locate the package. She advised me to get the tracking number. - I obtained the tracking number and called Shoppers to verify that my package had in fact been delivered - I was advised that they still could not locate the package, and that they do not accept packages from Purolator. However, my tracking confirmation specified it was delivered to Canada Post at this specific address. Every experience I've had with the dispensary has been awful. The front staff who get paid a small fraction of what the pharmacist are usually quite friendly. The dispensary is excessively slow. When crucial prescription drugs out of stock you might wait an hour before they even inform you it's on order and can't be filled today. The pharmacist I dealt with today to ask a couple of questions made me feel like a burden. Get a different job if you don't want to be in healthcare. Wish I'd caught his name. I know we all have bad days but it takes courage to talk about certain health issues and it's awful to feel like the man I'm talking to not only doesn't care, but is actually rude. Do us a favour, get in your BMW and go find yourself a job where you don't have to deal with human customers. You may have long waits at Rexall and more restricted hours, but I'd 100% recommend against this Shoppers. I deal with Rexall whenever possible because at least the pharmacists at Rexall do their job properly, with patience and a positive attitude.

The management and staff at this location deserve to be awarded for their commitment to their community and complete awareness of mental health issues. From the beginning of the mandatory mask bylaw I have been given a hard time by at least one staff member every where that I shop except here. (I am medically exempt) Kinda funny when you consider that it is a Drugstore. Because of this I have found myself buying more grocery items from your store. It is also nice that you carry amazon gift cards as well seeing as this is where most of my remaining grocery shopping is done. I find that your prices are quite comparable to most grocery stores too! Even cheaper when it’s on sale. Thank you guys!

The decision to reduce the hours of this previously open 24/7 shoppers location was ill advised. It was the only store open around the clock in the entire city. The staff in the cosmetics centre need to be spoken to. I was asking a lady for a nail repair powder which can be used with nail glue to quickly cover damaged nails. She said they didn't carry it, and recommended a completely different product. It was a nail repair hardener. I have never used a hardener before. She insisted it was an amazing product that would support my nails from damaging any further. What she neglected to mention was that the product contains formaldehyde which burns when in contact with the skin. This is safe if you have normal skin, but if you have Psoriasis like me, it is different. My skin is much more sensitive and scabs, inflammation and scars take much longer to heal or subside. My fingers were swollen and enflamed for hours after use and are still sensitive. This was not at all the product i came in for, it was pushed on me because the cosmetics clerk used it herself. I feel like she should have mentioned the burning. I would appreciate if someone would let the staff know this the so that they are more mindful the next time they recommend a product that could be potentially harmful. You still get 5 stars from me because i shop here often and love this location. This lady was also very nice and tried her best to help me find a good solution for my problem.

They never ever greet me even if they see me, sometimes they give me that "stop bothering me" expression when I just approach one of them and ask for help. Wow! Went there together with my friend today, she wanted to buy a lipstick on sale that, during checkout, appeared to be regular price. And the cashier totally didn't help us resolve the issue, she just practically told us to go check the prices ourselves... I totally didn't know that price check was a responsibility of the customer! She didn't even bother trying to call the other staff who could (possibly, maybe) help us figure that out. So, summary: in Shoppers, nobody cares about you in the slightest (and that's on top of missing price tags, expired goods, etc.). Very disappointed and never want to support the company.

I went to refill my prescription and was informed that it could not be refilled because I should not yet be out of my pills. I was supposed to receive 100 pills last time I filled the prescription and have now run out after 60 days. Either they made a mistake and managed to forget to give me the full prescription, or someone at this location is stealing medication from large prescriptions. It is unbelievable to see any one star review of the Shopper's Drug Mart pharmacy at the Mall. They always get voted Best Pharmacy in Medicine Hat, and I have seen nothing less than excellence in the 10 years I have been a customer of theirs. I have always gotten my prescriptions on time or much, much earlier than expected, the staff have always, every time, been polite, friendly, and professional, owner Leanne herself has even done work on my behalf without me having to ask (that I could have easily done myself like confirm dosages and such with my doctor), and they have gone waayy out of their way to resolve even the most minor of issues. Even more so I have seen them deal with unbelievably rude customers who literally demand of them things that are both impossible and borderline illegal for them to do. Then when they politely refuse they get yelled at. Thankfully you don't have to take my word for it. Do business with Leanne and the staff, and they will easily demonstrate for themselves how wrong these negative reviews are.

The photographer was ranting while taking my photo, which I needed it for an important application. A month later the application is returned because the photo is not according to spec. So much for a 20$ photo where the photographer only needs to follow some instructions helped by a computer program. Since he was ranting about his job, saying he should be doing something more adventurous, I will see with the branch management and the head office that he gets relieved from it. This mistake caused my a lot of problems, and may result in actual financial losses if I can't resolve the problems in time.

So much nicer than the old store. This new store is comparable to almost any other newer Shoppers (content and layout) with the exception of the electronics section (which is almost non-existent). The food selection is decent. However it's odd that this store closes two hours earlier than the new Zehrs beside it. Not sure of the rationale here Loblaws. Unless they change the hours on this store, it doesn't make much sense to go here for food (unless you already happen to be at Shoppers).

Twice now I wasn't able to fill out a prescription because of they are incompetent. I was able to do so at Pharmasave. Frustrating, especially when one is sick, has a small child, need some groceries and it's cold outside. Made a bad day much worse for me! Also, Shoppers Drug Marts across Canada are fine; great selection, great sales, but overall it is expensive. Customers must be made aware Shoppers Drug Marts in general are terrible for refunds. One must be absolutely sure he/she wants the item. Return policy is awful. I only buy safe items such as medicine, diapers, certain foods...staples. I would never buy makeup, curling iron, CD or anything else I could get for cheaper at Walmart.

Don’t go to a Shoppers pharmacy, especially this one. They gripe and moan about everything and make your life hell. Won’t even provide emergency refills most of the time (no matter what it is). I actually got my usual pharmacy to do it for me and it kept me OUT of the hospital and my prescription wasn’t even WITH them! It takes forever for a prescription here as well. The store may only have like, 7 people in it TOTAL but a prescription takes 20+ minutes always. The only thing Shoppers is good for is if you need a late prescription, and I think it’s ridiculous we have THREE Shoppers in Chilliwack and not a single one is 24 hours. That’s just stupid.

I got some Kinesiology Tape from a different shoppers and they refused to return it at this one. The tape was ineffective from being old or exposed to extreme temperatures. They refused to return it on the premise that I did not buy it from that particular shoppers. I had to drive to another one who returned it no problem. I had the receipt and everything. Bad experience with pharmacy services. They charged wrong amount but they didn't explained why and one of assistant pharmacist told me to be quiet while I was complaining because she is using phone. Actually she made that mistake. Even a manager did not try to explain what happened and just asked me to go back wait their call. At third visit one of Asian staff finally tried to explaine and fixed that mistake but later on it happened again by same assistant. I don't care what kind of computer system they use. I hope they have common sense and customer service training system.

As almost every review writes, this shoppers pharmacy is literally the worst in the city. I was told it would be half an hour for my prescription to be filled (every single other place always fills my prescription in 15 mins or less). I ended up waiting AN HOUR - A WHOLE HOUR for them to fill my prescription. This is ridiculous! This pharmacy clearly doesn't value their customers time whatsoever, and it's not just that... If they had been honest with me about how much time it would ACTUALLY take for them to fill the prescription, I wouldn't have stuck around waiting. I had to cancel a meeting with a client because the pharmacists couldn't do their jobs properly. I wish I had never come to this shoppers because now I have to get the rest of my prescription filled here too. Seriously the worst customer service I have ever experienced. Did they offer an apology? No of course not, that would require effort on their part which CLEARLY they don't like to put in. This place gives shoppers drug mart a bad name. I would be embarrassed if I were the staff, but they couldn't care less about their customers.

I purchased headphones a few days before a promotion. Called ahead to the store to inquire about a price adjustment and I was told it was ok. I went into the location and a very rude cashier who was later identified as the cash manager, didn’t want to process my refund/adjustment. She put a partial refund onto a gift card for the points but didn’t give the price adjustment. So all in all the price adjustment didn’t happen and I lost points because of the points refunded to a gift card. I was very disappointed in the service received here. I must also note that this same cashier (woman) was in store the day I purchased. She had a foul attitude and didn’t serve me, she passed the headphones to another cashier. I like Shoppers but I will never go back to this location. Also the cashier manager here should be fired she has no concept of customer service. The new owner has a bad influence, she worked at Rexall before and treats clients very poorly if nobody is nearby. Argues about everything, yet is all sweet and pleasant in front of a crowd. She is lazy and sneaky. The store is the usual SDM set-up, the cashiers are very helpful, pharmacy staff do their best but there is a constant turnover of people, so nobody knows you even if you are there most weeks. Staff part time pharmacists are excellent. Post office trained staff are terrible. incompetent and slow. Best to go to central Post office building for parcels, or use the mailboxes for letters.

We were looking to book for our covid test. We called the one on silvercreek and was on hold for 2 hours as we got hung up on a few times. When they finally answered the lady was so rude and said they're fully booked due to flu shots (over a week of apt date needed). I called this location and the lady answered right away, was polite and got us in exactly when we wanted to go in. Thank you! Definitely go to this location if you want your covid test done.

To the dude giving them one star because of them not letting a non patron use the washroom, what was wrong with the tourist bathroom 50 steps from the front door???? I was just there today and hoping to get a refund for the Revlon primer that did not agree with my face. I don't have the receipt, but they can find it using my optimum card since I bought it there. They refused to refund me because I do not have my receipt and that it is already opened. How would you know of a product would suck if you will not try it? Their supervisor obviously should not be in customer service. I am really frustrated since I don't live close to that store. If you guys can go to a different shoppers do it. RIPPED OFF— I bought a gift card in January. Got the card home it didn’t work. Brought the card back they said their wasn’t anything they could do, I’d have to call a number associated with Shoppers that deals with this sort of thing. The associate told me they would most likely send me a shoppers gift card, I asked her with the shoppers gift card would I be able to get a different card with the shoppers gift card that they send me she said YES. One month later I finally get the shoppers card in the mail. I went to shoppers to get a different card I’m at the cashier with the shoppers gift card and the one I want to buy. The cashier said she can’t do the transaction cause it’s against store policy to use a shoppers gift card to buy different gift card. I didn’t buy the original gift card just to use it in there store I bought it to use where ever wanted to use it. This is BS don’t buy any gift cards from Shoppers cause if it doesn’t work the will send you a gift card from there store and you are stuck with spending it in there store. F*** this place no more business from me. I can buy elsewhere.

I know nothing about pharmaceutical works, but I know that a whole hour wait for a little box to be taken off the shelf and put into a paper bag is too much. My biggest complaint is that I was advised of the wait time (promised 45 minutes actually, that turned into an hour) after they processed my order, not before. I could have turned around at the very start of this ordeal and gone to a different place. It took me less time to urgently find a specialist and go through the whole new patient first visit diagnostic and prescription process then to get that tiny box of medicine. Two starts are for the actual staff managing to still be friendly-ish and patient while struggling with the so badly set up system.

I come here for the pharmacy, but today while I was standing in the make up aisle at 4:00pm there was two women one with dark hair and one with shaved sides of her hair. They ignored and didnt greet me. Their customer service is only good if it benefits them selves. They were not professional. Talking about sexual intercourse, personal relationships and inattentive to customers. 10/10 do not reccomend coming to this shoppers if you have questions regarding facial cleansers or make up. Pharmacy is literally what keeps me coming back, their service is amazing. Though there was a mix up with my insurance and some people in pharmacy dont know what they're doing. I rarely go out but when I do, I wear a mask. I've gone to Shoppers 3 times over the past 6 weeks. Normally I shop there several times a week but I am self isolating now and only go out if I absolutely have to. Usually to pick up a prescription. I have not seen any social distancing in the store except for the lines, on the floor, by the till. I am usually the only person with a mask on. I'm in a high risk group and am trying to be safe. The aisles have been crowded with people, going in both directions, so there's no way to be more than a foot or two away from the other shoppers. I wish the store would enforce the directions from the Government. Some stores limit the amount of people, in their stores, so people can keep their distance. Shoppers is always busy.

Took a prescription that was for 90 days and turned it into a prescription with 2 refills, which is not how the script was written. This was a cash grab so they could triple their dispensing fee. Made the unfortunate mistake of paying via cashier Thursday May 27 (3:04pm). I stepped up at my turn and was asked if i wanted a bag which i declined. After ringing threw my order cashier immediately pushed debit method with out asking my method of payment or informing me of the total. We both waited awkwardly. I asked the total and told her I was paying cash ???? I gave her a 50.15 for 15.15 bill. she proceeded to messily put one 10.00 bill and five 5.00$ dollar bills down in a jumbled mess. I asked her to count it back to me (standard cashier practice). Cashiers can sometimes make human errors when counting back change; due to the large amount of small bills I thought it was warranted to count it out loud. Her voice dropped sarcastically she puts the ten bill down as says...’10’ loudly/slowly. then 2 five bills down ‘10’ again (not counting direct total up OR back down from total amount owed) puts another 2 fives ‘10’ same sarcastic voice and last the final 5 bill. as she says ‘5’. Yes, clear that she didn’t want to be there or give helpful service but why the attitude?? As confident attractive women expecting quality service, i was disappointed today- side note: fill my RX here Every week; the pharmacist cashiers are completely professional and helpful.

The pharmacy is absolutely horrible, my doctor sent in a rush prescription and when I called in 4 hours later to check on it I was told they never even put it in the system yet and they will get it done within 30- 45 mins. I waited over an hour then went to the pharmacy, where I was told again they have not started it and they will have it done in ten minutes. I sat and waited 30 minutes went up and asked again and they lady laughed like it was a joke and told me they haven't started it and would start it but I would have to wait another 30 mins, It was 830 I had a long day I was in pain and needed my prescription so I had to say I wouldn't move from the desk until they got my stuff filled, Which got me them in 5 minutes. Idk what can be done about the whole time thing or making sure "rushed" prescriptions are actually rushed, but one suggestion I have is don't lie to people and tell them stuff like ten minutes and make them wait and not do anything then act like it's a joke, Either be honest or maybe go back there and fill out the prescription.

They opened my sealed puffer boxes, and removed the chamber so they could put their label on the puffer instead of the box it comes in. Not very sanitary or safe. I asked them to stop but they didn't. I filled a script for a name brand drug that comes in a blister package. They gave me a box that was about to expire and refused to trade it for a fresher box. That made me wonder about the freshness of the drugs they sell you in their own pill containers. How do you know the drugs you're getting aren't beyond their expiry date?

Worst experience ever in my past 10 years of dealing with pharmacy. I've been with Safeway and other shoppers however this location is something special. Every refill of my prescription (4 medications) turns into 3 or 4 trips till they get it right. This happened 3 times in a row. I live nearby so this is my go-to pharmacy, which now has plexiglass separating the people working in the pharmacy from customers. In addition, most of us (including the staff) wear masks now due to Covid, so we need to speak louder than usual. On the day when it was actually *not* lined up, but the several staff members working were obviously very busy. I came to pick up my prescription and explained my situation regarding information that was to have been sent to them from my doctor, and despite attempting to keep our conversation confidential, the woman I spoke with flippantly grabbed another member and told me to talk to her. So now instead of repeating the information to her coworker quietly, she just walked away and had me repeat the whole story to the second woman, who then proceeded to repeatedly ask me speak up, as the staff behind her all spoke so loudly to each other, they were now speaking louder and over each other! I found it embarrassing having the customers around listening to me explain my personal info, and VERY unprofessional on the staff's behalf. I was so frustrated, I finally walked out without my medication. Your pharmacy manager needs to have a serious talk to the staff on etiquette and the manner with which they handle private and confidential information! It's obvious from reading this feed of reviews that this issue has not been remedied, as it is a continual issue for many!!

I often visit this Shopper's location late at night, as it is the only 24 hour location in Guelph. The store itself is clean and organized but the on duty security guard is an incredible inconvenience. Besides the fact that it is intimidating for a customer to walk into a store and immediately come face to face with a security guard in full uniform, these is the added inconvenience of having to do your shopping while being literally stocked by this gentleman. I was able to get through 3 or 4 aisles before I became incredibly annoyed at the small distance between myself and security as he followed me around the store for the entire length of the visit. Eager to leave, I then used self checkout and quickly exited the building to escape the discomfort of the situation, while also rending the on duty cashier completely useless as she appeared unwilling to serve customers. It seems that both staff members, security and cashier, were unhelpful and the store would literally run itself better than these two incompetent employees do currently.

Tonight I got off work from the nursing home I've worked at for 20 years. It was extremely hot today and I work in dietary so it was extra hot. I've had anxiety as long as I can remember, shopping is very hard for me. So I sometimes look at something and look at something else while I think about it, and come back. Every single time I'm in the makeup section I hear the same announcement, and suddenly some young girl is asking me if I want help. That is the last thing I want. So it's blasted across the store like I'm trying to steal and you have someone come check on me. If I want help I will ask someone for it. The Pharmacy have failed to provide health care several times. This location has serious systematic issues. I do not trust this location to be a reliable partner with my health care anymore. People with health issue that can not be solved come to this business.. However, I do not blame the staff, Manager/Owner your systematic issues can be solved: 1. uphold your obligations, 2. train your staff, 3. fix you computers, 4. own your problems, 5. fix your stock management process, 6. fix your customer service, 7. fix how you fill you prescription, 8. have some integrity, 9. increase your communication. Many times you have failed to fill prescriptions in reasonable time. Even when it is in stock; this location fails to refill persptions weeks after they are faxed. I'm talking several different events, where weeks after it's been prescribed and paid for, it's not delivered. What really was an eye opener was this: The Last time I was there waiting, I ran into a long time Sooke MD Dr R.S.; perhaps-just-perhaps I was the only one having "bad luck". Unfortunately, I watched as the good Dr R.S. left the store astounded. I was upset see even him being blamed for the medication not being filled, it was just like my experience's. He left with out medication, disappointed. Too many repetition of the same issues to list. This review represents more of my valuable time spent on your business.You need to self reflect; ultimately hopefully resulting in better care for someone else in-need who you are responsible for. Location is clean. The janitorial staff clearly have pride and integrity; give them a raise.

Wow man im impressed for a shoppers. Good selection. we were driving all around town and we stopped here to look and see if they had a plunger. no other stores did - -except for this one. Thats one positive. the store has a pretty modern look on the outside and on thee inside, its the shoppers we all know. Nice selection of snacks and always have what we need in a pinch.

I have used the Esquimalt location for years and have a real love/hate relationship with this pharmacy. Some of their employees are the very best and I am always very thankful when I see them on duty. However, some of the employees need lots of work. Some can be very rude and condescending. I have given many different kinds of complaints about those people but the one ongoing complaint I have is when they give me the wrong cap on my prescriptions. I’m a senior with arthritic hands. They often give me child proof caps on the prescription bottles even though it clearly states on my file to give me regular caps. I cannot open child proof caps. I have been told to just use the cap from the old bottle. 1) that doesn’t always work when they give me a different sized bottle and therefore a different sized cap. And 2) they need to be more responsible in filling these prescriptions. While a cap is not life threatening, making other kinds of mistakes on prescriptions could be. They are obviously not reviewing the client’s file when filling the prescriptions.

If I could give 0 stars I would due to the pharmacy. I called multiple times today waiting around 5-8 minutes each time before I got annoyed to refill a prescription that I wasn't able to online. I selected a different option and got through to customer service. The woman who answered the phone was obnoxious and horrifically rude. I expressed my dissatisfaction which was met by her talking over me and telling me to take my business elsewhere as a solution. So that's exactly what I'm going to do. This is the reason why people shop online... So they don't have to deal with rotten sales people like the woman I spoke to today.

The pharmacist at this location was wonderful! Very nice and helpful!!!( lady who had an Indian accent with a very sweet voice) on April 3rd around 3pm. I dealt with Brookswood location which is the one I usually go to but the lady was sooooooo rude, cold and short. She just said “ we don’t have it but the other type.” She did not want to explain to me or talk to me. So I called this location to see if they have the medication I was looking for , This pharmacist told me they don’t have it but there is a different type and explained what was the difference and I have no problems using this instead of the one I was looking for.... She was the best!!!

Treated like a criminal. Embarrassed by rude staff. If you want more than one thing, don't come here. Not allowed to shop. There's a dollar tree next door and a walmart and save on foods just down the street. If you want perfume, it's >50% cheaper at an online discounter like fragrancebuy or fragrancex. I'll never set foot in this location again.

I have been going to this Shoppers Drug Mart for years as well as my family and it's always been pleasant, especially the staff working the makeup counter, they are always so talkative, kind and reassuring. However, I had quite an unpleasant visit this morning when working with the Canada Post Office. I have a small online business that I opened a few months ago and I always use the post offices at shoppers to mail orders as it's convenient for me. I have been to multiple different shoppers post offices to send off my mail and I have been shipping off orders the same way at the same price each time at each different location. But today the staff member that was working with me at the post office was very rude and would not work with me or listen to what I was saying. No matter how many times I tried to reason with her and explain I have done this at other locations and to check and see if there was another way, she just kept telling me the new price I had to pay. I had 7 orders that had to be shipped to the U.S.A and I have been paying the same price at each location I have been to, but this person was telling me each package would cost over 5$ more that what I would usually pay. I went to a stand alone Canada Post Office and they said she was wrong and allowed me to ship my mail off as I usually do. If I had listened to this person I would have been overcharged 35$+, not to mention the amount of money I would have lost if I listened to her and kept coming back and over paying. I am discontented with the service I recieved and will make sure anyone I know won't use this post office at this location for fear of them being greatly overcharged as I almost was.

Everytime i go with my prescription to this pharmacy its nothing but hassles. I've been going to this same location for ten years and it's never changed. Actually was told by the owner yesterday that my doctor never put the code on the prescription so it wasn't covered and he's not calling the doctor to get it because last time he was on hold for an hour waiting. His advice for me? Do it myself lol What a joke and and lack of professionalism. Also witnessed owner and workers making fun of patients out in the open in front of clients. Can you imagine? Coming to your pharmacy in chronic pain and being made fun of in front of other workers and customers? Embarrassing and very unprofessional

Very busy location but they seemingly prefer clients regularly giving up on their non-pharmacy purchases than having occasionally idle staff at the registers.

The pharmacy exceeds in poor customer service. The techs in the pharmacy are known to be hostile to customers. The pharmacist tries to smooth things over but that is a clear sign that the inmates run the asylum. It's easier to go to another pharmacy altogether. Maybe it will make them happy to see customers, with whom they do not like to provide service, move on to another pharmacy altogether. It is certainly the message their actions send.

Yesterday (Nov. 19) I went shopping at the store (store No: 147) on spring garden rd in Halifax. Around 6pm, I was at the cashier(cashier no.;4 or 5, not 1), I said hello to the guy who served me and he totally ignored me. He didn't say a word to me. I thought maybe he didn't hear me. At the end of the service, I make sure I said loudly to him: "Thank you! Have a good night" but he still ignored me and yelled at the back said "I can serve the next person." He ever said thank you or anything. I feel really bad that he treated me this way. Maybe he is having a bad day? Or maybe because I'm an Asian? I have never experienced this kind of treatment since coming to Canada five years ago.
