Not up to par for being a Starbucks Reserve- very disappointing service during my stay in Banff. I ordered a Nitro with Cream along with breakfast for two and another drink. The Nitro was delivered without the cream - the server seemed confused when I explained I had ordered the Nitro with sweet cream, she seemed annoyed added the cream without care. I couldn’t taste anything sweet about the added cream. When adding the cream my lid was taken off and placed upside down on a dirty counter. Overall the store was trashed and not well maintained.

If you're going to have a "buy five get one free" promotion, at least try to make it a pleasant experience for the customer. After having bought 4 drinks previously it was a pain to try and buy a fifth and get the sixth free, to the point where I had to show the fine print that allowed for the sixth to be free. The two drinks we received were watered down and so packed with ice the straw barely fit into the drink. Next time don't run a promotion if it'll end up being a worse experience for the customer.

Server at the till was very slow and had to have to order repeated several times before she got it right. 4 people serving when the queue is to the door isn't great. 4 tables taken up by one type of person Starbuck is famous for hosting, all on Apple computers, non with any drink in front of them... Annoying when there are many paying customers waiting to sit down to have a drink and take the weight of there feet for a few minutes

The coffee is strong but bitter. They do need to work on how to make a goooood coffee not just a coffee. The shop was quiet at 8 but by 9.30 a queue is out the door. The shop is spacious with tables and benches, tables outside in the freah air. Staff are efficient amd friendly understand funny accents and the coffee arrives quickly.

Big shout-out to the girls of the Banff Starbucks Emma, Louise and Daisy. My bf and I went to Starbucks today to get some work done (WiFi and plug-ins are always a reason to visit, beside the Frapp I’m addicted to). It was sooo crowded the whole afternoon but all of them stayed calm and friendly and we’re still fast and efficient. Could always see a smile on their face and very polite when it came to apologizing (something with the Frappucinos did not work). Great service! And I also tried out something new: the Peach Citrus Tea Lemonade, very good, eh!

The store clean is not kept well. The store may need more people to operate proper service quality. There are too big variations among people(I.e., someone is very kind and super eager, the other may not have any intention to deliver service eagerly). I just want to say the store. Service quality control means that all services do not show any variations. If your customers feel that the employees show big variations to deliver their service, the manager does not work in the store. Anyway, most people are good, eager to deliver their service, and show the standard service. I deducted one.

I’ve never had to wait 20+ minutes for a pre-brewed cup of coffee (pike roast). This is completely unacceptable. My normal drink is a grande americano with two cream. I understand this is a very busy Starbucks because of the tourism and customers -so I ordered a pike roast coffee. I’m still waiting for my PRE-MADE coffee inside a very crowded (not socially distanced) Starbucks. The barista on the till should have just poured the damn coffee.

Glad to find a Starbucks in Banff. It is in a excellent location. The storefront has a nice setting that fits in with the rest of the buildings. Minus two stars for the service. My bother ordered a brewed coffee and was asked to wait until another pot was made. He was left standing there for a long time while the barista eventually started serving that new pot of coffee to other people in line and completely forgot about him. Additionally one employee was blocking the condiment counter (sugar, cream, etc) while talking to another customer at the counter and didn't bother to allow me access even though I was blatantly standing there waiting for them to finish. Even after I asked to have access to the counter, he moved over enough for me to get some countertop space but he still took up an inappropriate amount room at the counter while he continued his conversation. I have no problem watching a Starbucks employee being friendly and chatting up the customers, but it is possible to have a conversation while standing in a position that does not block access to important areas.

During my visit to Safeway I stopped for a drink at the Starbucks. The lady who made my drink was amazing and so friendly. She suggested adding eggnog to my drink and I agreed. When she passed me the drink she even said to be sure I liked it before I left otherwise she could make me a new drink. Worst customer service I have ever experienced. I am a big fan of shaken iced tea lemonade so I can use "Buy five drinks get free one" very often. Thus, I used that last week in Canmore for "2 Peach green tea lemonade" and it did work very perfectly on their pos. However, one of the employees at this store said to me like you were not allowed to use that for "Tea Lemonade" and even she didn't try to ring it through on her till. I asked her to check it on her till but she was rude and arrogant and I felt like she didn't want to do this for me. After a few seconds, she finally tried and it worked very well but she looked like "What the fxxx??." I also had three of them but she didn't allow me to use all of them so I only could use one even though we were a party of 3. Even worse thing was that a barista made my drink wrong and it tasted not good. I literally didn't want to deal with this with everyone of them so I just got out of there. I think "One star" is great point they can't get for their service.

Terrible service 8/20/19; absolutely no hygiene standards. Barista wipes cups with counter rag, grabs every cup by the rim and not one of them washed there hands after touching their face/ hair or a dirty service! 2 girls were at 1 till and more interested in chatting the getting customers products. Great location, central to everything. Lots of street parking around with various time limits. Spent a few hours catching up on work here, but the place got pretty busy by 10-11am. That’s when WiFi problems began. First it slowed down and got spotty but by 11:30 am we couldn’t connect anymore. Had to move to another cafe but enjoyed our morning here. Cute Starbucks in downtown Banff. They have a newer space with plenty of comfy seating and more space to maneuver. It is a fairly busy Starbucks, but then again so are most stores and cafes on Banff Ave. They have the Starbucks You are Here collectors mug for Banff if you are a collector. Overall, good Starbucks compared to others but busy. If you have the Starbucks app, do a mobile order prior to arriving to guarantee your drink is ready to go before you arrive. Save yourself some time to sit and enjoy the mountain views. They have a few outdoor seats as well, great for summer of a winter Chinook day!

This is the worst Starbucks I've ever been to. I understand that it's important to take precautions for COVID but they have everyone standing all grouped up right in the door with a sign that says to socially distance. There is a whole store that could be utilised for a socially distanced line up . In the summer maybe not such a big deal but it's cold outside and no one wants to wait 30 minutes in -26 . I guess I should be greatful they were open at all tho because they are almost always closed.

My server (cashier) was kind of rude. I was using my phone selfie mode as a mirror, then she said something about my phone. I just heard my friend saying my phone was on selfie mode. Then she stopped taking our orders to ask me with a pissed face, "Would you mind NOT filming?" Sometimes you just need a mirror, and the only thing you have beside you is your phone.

Large seating and standing area inside the building but they have blocked it off with barricades so all 5 customers that are allowed in have to stand in an approximately 10' by 10' area. Very awkward and uncomfortable trying to stay 6' away from people when it's not possible, very inconvenient. I suggested to a staff member over a week ago that they could utilize the space they have to either have more people in the store or more space between people. Was back today and no change has been made. Just another example of a company doing something completely irrational to look good in the face of COVID-19.

Absolutely awful. First I ordered a cold drink and it was mostly coconut milk with absolutely no flavor. They clearly put too much milk. Then my husband ordered us two hot teas. And they gave us lattes. They need to learn to listen and pay attention when people order. That’s $20 worth of drinks in the trash. Awful.

Welcome to the slowest Starbucks in all of Canada! This gold member couldn't handle the wait and after 15 minutes of very little movement, I finally left. ???? You need to hire more staff to meet the demand!!!

I go to Starbucks all the time and I am always always greeted (even if it’s busy) This is the first location ever where I wasn’t greeted. She had no expression at all! She stared at me like I was a ghost. Not sure which barista it was but she had a tattoo(s) on her lower arm. Please! Do better specially when you have tourist coming in and out of your shop.

Like most Starbucks you know exactly what you're getting. I don't like to mess with my daily routine. This great new location is twice the size of the old one on Banff Ave, with the only disappointment being no fireplace. The baristas are friendly enough but all business in this busy locale.

Getting rather tired of this place closing early. They say they can't hire staff. The truth is it's this location that can't hire staff due to poor management and negative work culture. Restaurants and other Starbucks in Canmore can hire staff. It was the staff in Canmore that told me how bad the culture is at this location and that's why staff keep quitting.

This was actually one of the more dissapointed Starbuckses (sp?) that I've been to. The baristas weren't the friendliest. They did not have any blonde roast, just two jugs of pike, and two jugs of espresso. I didn't even know Starbucks did espresso from a tap, you'd think they would make it fresh.

These people do not know what they are doing. A bunch of children running this place that are too busy gossiping to work. Took me 15 minutes to get 2 coffees. Saw my coffee sitting there (did not know it was mine) waiting 5 minutes for someone to hand it to me. If I had known it was like I would have gone behind the counter and retrieved it. Can someone put an adult in charge here?!

Its starbucks! The atmosphere was lively. People talking, or studying. It was nice.. My only complaint was they ask you for your name but when handing out the orders, the people were mumbling the order and not the name so several people were wondering if it was their order.. because they all ordered the same thing. Would have been helpful for them to say the name and not mumble a drink since no one could hear them.
