Convenient, quick way to get the seasonal flu shot
Terrible customer service at this location. Specifically in the Boutique department. Went in for what I assumed would be an easy exchange but was met with the complete opposite. Bought a $20 perfume in Canmore (there was no sample to smell) went home, opened it, didn't like the scent to I went to this location in hopes of exchanging it for another one. The sales associate (Shelley) immediately told me that the perfumes were final sale and that I could not do an exchange. I asked her to show me where that was stated on the advertising sign/receipt. Nothing. Her response was that they had changed the sign the day before *blink*blink* okay? Again, where does it say that I am unable to exchange this, she ends up calling a manager, Carmen. Once Carmen caught up to what was going on she suggested that I drive back to Canmore and do the exchange there *blink*blink* she said that unless they have that exact brand they cannot exchange it because they won't be able to re-sell it, again, where.does.it.state.this.on.my.receipt. Most Shoppers receipts indicate their Final Sale items with either a stamp or with it printed out on the actual receipt. At this point I am annoyed with the entire situation, I ask Shelley to continue with my purchase and I was given the Store Managers name . I said that they should state that those items are final sale because most people are buying them under the assumption that they can be returned, just like the perfumes being sold for $$$. Shelley starts to rant on how I should respect her because she is my elder, saying that she is older than me, calling "irritate" mind you.....irritate to me is a person making a dramatic scene, usually yelling, throwing things etc. So I remind Shelley of this, her immediate response "is that a threat?" TYPICAL stereotypical rhetoric found at this location. She continues to talk about how she has been in retail for years, how they do not accept open products.......*blinksssss* i told her that was a lie because i have returned opened products before and all she could condescendingly say was "Not at this location" LOOK! at this point I was just wanting for this lady to hurry on up so that I could get out of that store. After a few sassy remarks I finally left and will NEVER go back. The only reason I stress staying away from this place is because they lie and they have terrible staffing, the front end staff, pharmacy workers are amazing but the ones in the boutique need a lesson on customer service. Boutique my ass. Oh, and tell me why I was able to drive up the street to the SUNRIDGE location and exchanged this perfume *blinksss* tisk tisk.
September 19/2021 today I called this location in regards to getting my Pfizer vaccination, I was told on the phone that I could come in any time before 5:30pm. I showed up at approximately 5:20pm and was denied my vaccination with no real reason. I asked why I was being denied after being told I was able to walk in before 5:30 and the only explanation was that they couldn’t waste a vile on 1 person. I explained to the pharmacist that I spoke to them on the store earlier to confirm that I was okay to walk in tonight. The pharmacist I spoke to is Nirali Patel. I then asked to speak to the store manager and was denied that service by Nirali as well as another worker in the store at the time. They would only give me the managers first name Vilma but not give me any contact information including email addresses or phone numbers. If Vilma Bautista reads this, I would like to contact you in regards to my experience
This is with regards to their pharmacy only, as I do not really go to Shoppers for much else. Their pharmacists are very kind, quick, and reasonable. I like to be in and out which is what they strive to do. My only concern is with the company’s voicemail - when I try to call the pharmacy, it takes about 2 minutes with their answering service. Honestly, I’m not travelling so I don’t really need your electronic female voice to go on for 45 seconds about getting vaccinated - do I? Also, can’t find their app in the App Store for the life of me - it must be under a different title than the company name?? A bit confusing and frustrating... So all in all the 4 stars are for the fantastic pharmacy staff and the -1 star is for the company itself.
I was a Beauty Advisor myself in two different cities (Calgary and Fort McMurray). I was in this Beauty Boutique for at least 20 minutes and no one acknowledged me or offered to help as I was trying to find a foundation shade. When I went to section where the perfumes were, again no one offered to help even though they saw me. The security guard was kind enough to help me out at the perfume/cologne section. So this was a ridiculous situation and I'm glad that I have not spent a single dime in this store. So rude and unprofessional. I invite everyone to try different stores where you will get the customer service that you deserve. But this store is just not it.

Nice place. Was very pleased to have this place open for easier mall convenience. Serves as a great place to by small items for in mall use. The staff here are pretty decent as well. Like I said great experience, and easy convenience.
Pharmacists were really helpful
I grew up in a family full of entrepreneurs, including the family that started one of the biggest Canadian franchises. I was shocked at the owners inability to conduct herself as a respectable business woman. She happily expressed that she did not care one bit I was unhappy with her stores costumer service. Honestly it was shameful. Please do your best to use other locations. This owner doesn't deserve any of our money.

The pharmacists were super caring and nice. As well as the beauty boutique employees although some of them are hit or miss most of the employees there are nice and helpful.
Julie was super helpful. I walked in wanting an affordable skin care package for my aging skin. I have felt overwhelmed by the amount of products out there. I am not willing to spend hundreds of dollars. Julie walked me through Clinique products since I've had success with them in the past. I ended up sending less than $100 on an entire set of cleanser, toner, lotion. I got a complimentary make up bag and samples as well. Thank you Julie! I highly recommend this place.

I was at the store with my 4 and 5 year olds I wanted to buy some make up and I think this locations has smashbox. I went in and bought a two pack of kinder eggs at the self checkout to bribe my kids while I shopped. Well my 4 year olds egg did not have a toy in it. Big deal to him. I complained to the cashier who basically told me too bad so sad. Needless to say I didn’t make it into cosmetics as my 4 year old was not happy. I probably would have spent $100 in store had they given him a $2 egg to replace the toy
I had my vaccine today, Pharmacist were helpful and made sure to ask which side of my arm i wanted my vaccine administered. Friendly and fast service. Thanks guys!

I got the influenza vaccine today at crossiron mills shoppers drug mart. The gentleman running the registration and administering the vaccine were very nice and friendly but I found it odd that 1. there was no review or confirmation of allergies with the client prior to administering the vaccine other than the question on the form 2. No teaching about possible sign and symptoms to be aware of 3. Not being instructed to wait 15 minutes post vaccine which should be standard practice in case of a adverse or anaphylactic reaction 4. My husband and I had to request the slip of paper with proof of vaccine (which by the way had the list of things you should be aware of post vaccination and could have been helpful) as they were not handing them out to everyone had a flu shot. 5. The slip of paper only had a din #and expiration date no Lot number. As a Registered Nurse we have a certain policies that we must follow when delivering a medication/vaccination and I would expect the same if a pharmacist administrating a vaccine.
The lady cashier with the purple pixie cut asked me if I could use my card, which I evidently, did not see her do with any of the other white customers. She then proceeded to grab my wallet without my permission to see if I had a card with my signature on it. I don’t know man...I’d have to go out on a whim and conclude she’s racist. It’s not the first time this has happened to me, so it’s pretty easy to tell.
All of the staff were too busy having their own personal conversations to help me. Even more outrageous was the fact that they would make eye contact with me as I complained about how I didn't know where to find what I wanted, and yet they STILL failed to acknowledge me. I let them know that they had just given me the worst service I'd ever had, and they stared at me like they genuinely had no clue that they were supposed to be working. At this point I'm still not sure if they're rude, or just completely dense. Probably a bit of both. Save yourself the headache and don't go here. Also, people selling makeup should probably know how to do their own.
Always a pleasant experience when I go to this store! Staff are very welcoming and helpful when needed. I made an unconventional request once and Cyra the Manager was very receptive and assisted me the best she could. If you see this, again thank you so much. Located in a convenient location of the mall, right by the food court and mall entrance/exit.

It was my very first worst experience of buying perfume from shoppers (CROSSIRON). Spent $117 on perfume. I requested that if i can get some samples (not gift) she gave me only 2 samples and she said i gave u alot. Moreover she was giving me skincare samples which i refused and returned back. Totally poor customer Service. Definitely not going back to that location again. Would be better if you go to HUDSON BAY stores. They even give you free gifts, without even asking. And of course lots of samples.
The girls that I dealt with at the fragrance department are helpful. Not the most knowledgable about fragrances but whatever. Selection is really good. Prices are decent. However I hated shopping here cause they had this security guy constantly staring at me. There are plenty of other people in the beauty department but no he has to stare me down for the whole ten minutes I was in the store. So I found what I wanted and bought it somewhere else, and it was cheaper too!
Today I had an awful experience at the shoppers at crossiron mills. I am about to travel abroad and came to purchase some last minute items. I was comparing some items in one aisle and trying to determine what would best suit my needs when I noticed a security guard appear at the end of the aisle. He was staring me down. I soon realized he was only there to watch me and was not checking on any of the other customers in the other aisles. For the entire 10 minutes I was there deciding what I needed he stayed staring at me like a creep, momentarily hiding when I looked up and made eye contact and then quickly reappearing when I'd continue looking at the items. I don't know what he found so suspicious about me, but I felt so violated and angry being stared down by this guy that I chose not to buy anything. I went to a competing store where I received fantastic customer service and purchased the exact item. I wont be back to this shoppers location because of this eerie experience.
It's a tax return season and my husband went through all pharmacies in Airdrie and suburbs to get receipts for prescribed meds for himself and our kids. It wasn't a problem anywhere until he came to Shoppers drugmart in Cross Iron Mills. The seller refused to give him a receipt for our teen son talking about consent from him. She refused to call to pharmacy owner as well for explaining. Again, it wasn't a problem anywhere except this place. Needless to say that I will never visit this pharmacy again and will not recommend to all. We just wasted time with their terrible service
