I love Bug-Off, the whole company consists of friendly and knowledgeable people who offer a great value, and fantastic services. The mosquito treatments are incredible and make my backyard into a Paradise. The yearly pest checks they do to make sure no squirrels or critters get in are excellent, when I bought my house there were signs of flying squirrels in the attack and other pests, they got rid of the bad insulation, installed mesh at the points that needed it and repaired any damage. Their price for the service was significantly less than the 3 other places quoted, and the yearly reinspection fees are less also. Thanks again!

The servicer who came to my home was incredibly polite and did a good job inside and out. Payment was easy. The only problem was that the service contract was not set up prior to his arrival. We needed to have the main office email it to me, print is out, scan it and return it before he could start work. This is the only hiccup that keeps it from being 5 stars.

I have been a Bug-Off Customer since the early 2000's and they have been an excellent Bug Exterminator as well as excellent Termite Service over the years. However, I would be careful on using them for Wildlife. They will certainly take your 1 year contract money as in my case. But they could not prevent the mouse infiltration issue I was having over the course of the year and did not allow me to renew my contract at the $140.00 rate. There were a couple of very competent individuals in that department whose names were Colton and Robert but unfortunately they haven't been cloned. I experienced the pain of that department's internal turnover but outside of Colton and Robert most of the previous folks were not able to come close to addressing my issue. I totally hold their Wild Life manager accountable who basically stated they are losing money on me. But I bet I can sign another 1 year agreement with them at the higher price. A great way to treat a 16 year customer!

This is my 1st time using Bug-off and I was Having issues with 3holes from the outside of my house so i made a appointment with Bug-off free of charge so i can get an estimated price. The guy came over on time and was very Pleasant But when i gave him my card to whole on file he stated that he would not charge it until i call back to confirm a date and before i knew it the money was out my account. I was very upset because i did not even have an appointment or confirmed the job to be performed so i called the office to report it and the lady said that should have not happened but i decided to just go ahead with them because i wanted to get the matter taken care of. I was very hesitant but I have receives services from bug off by Justin and his trainer, they were very professional, punctual and Willing to explain any issues or concerns. I would Definitely use them again and recommend their service. Although I will not use my card to hold a appointment again.

Brandon and Michael were wonderful,when they came to my home on 1005 falling valley court, they explained everything that they were going to do as far as servicing my home, they both walked around the entire house and they found spots that needed the treatment and when they finished, he explained to me again what exactly they did and both men were very polite and kind. Matthew Smith has been the best! I have never had such a wonderful pest control company in my years of living in Georgia. I originally bought a house to flip and it was a roach infested dump In Smyrna. There were at least 100 dead roaches when I signed the papers to buy. During construction the roaches were becoming minimal and finally down to zero after about 3 months of treatment. When I tell you that when he took the time to explain all the cracks and little holes that needed to be filled up in the crawl space that dramatically changed everything along with the right baits. This company was on time always and got the job done. I can’t stand roaches and now they have finally been obliterated! I highly recommend bug-off and will be using them on my next property for sure! 5 star all the way up!

I moved into my new townhouse almost 2 years ago and about a year ago I was invested with tiny ants and other pests due to construction on my new towns house. Recently also had them come by to do a termite inspection (no issues but it had been five years) and provide a treatment. Alex did the inspection and then clearly and patiently explained to me by phone the next steps including costs. After took a day to think it through, I called and had Alex schedule treatment. On day of, my technician Brandon called ahead prior to the 9am appointment to let me know he was 30-40 minutes out, explained the specifics of the service when he arrived, and completed his work efficiently. He was a very professional, honest person. He looked around the attic and made an assessment. I got a second estimate but Bug Off was $300 less. The team came out to my home even earlier than I had expected because they finished up another job early. The two young men on the team were very polite and got right down to work installing a mesh squirrel blocker on my roofline.. Bug-Off is a pretty good exterminating company...as far as getting rid of pest.. I had no issues with them up until the end of our contract. Which was just last month. The issue came from a communication aspect... I'm a single mom with 4 kids. I have a set budget on everything I do. That's how I stay afloat... I'm not too sure why but Matt. The exterminator who was assigned to my home failed to text me as he normally did when he was coming to my home... I appreciated the fact that he texted because at time I didn't have the money. So I would just reschedule with him for a time I did have the money.. the last 2 sessions he failed to do so. The first time. I was confused when I noticed the charges but realized he hadn't text... I didn't say anything then. I had the money so no issues the fee was covered... 3 months passed I get no text. Check my bank app. Notice a charge. It was a Friday and after their business hours. So I couldn't call the office. First thing Monday I called the office.. I spoke to a man. I let him know that I hadn't been notified of the visit..plus I also let him know of the previous charge without being told... I told him that because I had been charged without my knowledge I now was in negatives with my bank since I didn't have the funds to cover the fee. I was also charged the 35 $ late fee.

I would never use nor recommend Bug Off again. When their guy would come out monthly, he never did the full job. I have caught him in lies, saying he did something when he didn’t because my cameras proved him wrong. When I spoke with someone at the main office about my dissatisfaction with his work, the lady act like she could have cared less and his work never improved. I called the office yesterday morning to schedule a visit. I was informed by the lady that answered the phone that their technicians schedule their own appointments. She gave me his name and number and said I should expect a call from him. Finally this morning around 9a.m. I received a text from the technician. I’m sorry, and maybe as a business owner myself in the service industry, I expect a little more effort for someone to earn my business. The company I called today set my appointment up immediately and is going to make it here quicker than your tech even contacted me to schedule. They are charging a little more but I don’t mind paying more for better results. My question is why do you allow your technicians to schedule their own appointments? Obviously they are all not driven individuals and you’re setting yourself up for reviews like this one. I would say that if you have days to wait for your issue to be resolved , then sure give this company a try. I myself don’t have much spare time and would rather have instant results and have my business earned.

We hired Bug Off for our new office. They came out and treated for outside bugs coming in and said it would take 7- 10 before we would see the effects. Two weeks late we still had the same bug issue so I called them back out again to treat a second time. Again I was told it would be 7-10 days before we would stop seeing the bugs. Another three weeks went by and the problem was still as bad as when we first called. We purchased our own Pest Control and treated over the weekend and two days later... NO BUGS! I called Bug Off and told them what happened and that we wanted a refund. Two different people told me they did not guarantee their work and they would not refund. Last week I saw a juvenile rat in my kitchen. Yikes!!! For a few weeks I've heard squirrels in the attic but rats are too much. After the sighting, I immediately called Bug Off because I've had a relationship with them for pest and termite control for over 20 years. The Bug-Off inspector came out that day, looked around and gave me a quote. Today Clay and Jerrod came here and did the work of sealing off the gap (and it was a gap) and other holes in the attic as well as protecting the attic from future rodent entry. Alex came out to my house at the appointed time, did a thorough inspection of my attic and determined the corrective measures that needed to be taken to remove the critters and ensure they stay gone. Paid 165.00 for them to come out and address a roach issue for a one time treatment and promised second treatment if the issue continued within 30 days. it worked at first but because I am seeing roaches just over 30 days they will not honor another guaranteed treatment. The only reason we did not sign up for yearly treatment is because we are planning on moving but for us to pay that large amnt for a one time service and for them to not come back out again is Poor customer service. Will not be using or recommending this company to anyone

I even spoke with them through the Thumbtack app. I never received a phone call back and had to call them each and every time only to find out that my information was not in their system. I chose this company because they had great reviews and I wanted to support a local business. I had a hornet problem under my front porch and wanted them to take care of it. I called the company and spoke to a very nice lady on the phone and she set up an appointment for 1:00 that afternoon. I waited around and no one came by, I called the company multiple times to check up on it, and repeatedly I was told sorry that someone would contact me within 5 minutes. Finally, after hours had passed I called the company to cancel, because I was annoyed at this point and wanted to go with someone else. I talked to a man on the phone who apologized and told me that the guys were actually in my neighborhood, so at this point I agreed to have them come by. I was greeted by two young men who were vaping, which I did not think was very professional for the circumstances. I told them exactly where the hornets nest was, and within 15 minutes they were done. I got the bill and it was more than I was originally told it would be. I was expecting to receive at maximum the base cost of the job for the complete inconvenience of the company and lack of respect to the customer. I questioned the cost, a phone call was made, and I was still charged the same amount. In the future I will not chose this company, and I would not recommend them to anyone. I am giving them 2 stars solely on the fact that the hornets have significantly decreased.

It's such a relief to not have to worry about attic critters anymore. Alex came out and was able to diagnose the issue in about an hour. He came up with a plan to remove the existing squirrels and prevent them from coming back in the future. Bug off warrantees their work so that I don't have to worry about it happening again in the future. I'll definitely be using them for other pest control stuff and I'm so happy I gave them a try. If you're reading this and wondering if you should try to take care of this on your own, please at least give them a call and get a consultation first. I deeply regret trying the DIY method last year. It was way cheaper to have them fix it professionally than it was to fix the damage I created screwing it up myself. Also, I didn't get anything in return for this review, I'm just a really, really satisfied customer.
