I don't know why this company has such high ratings. I would give them a zero if I could. I called, explained our situation and was told a tech would come out. We were told that he would inspect our house and if he couldn't do anything, he would tell us what we needed to do and point us in the right direction. He came out, inspected and I gave him a check. He said if we had any problems, to call and he would come back. Well, our problem was not fixed, I called, and they said they would send him again, AT NO CHARGE. By the time he came again my check still was not cashed and the tech that came out said that the last time he was here he forgot to treat an area, which is why we might still have problems. He treated it at the second visit, told me he would locate my check, (that may be lost in his truck) and that he would come back out in a week. As soon as he left I received a call that they had to bill us at half price, after being told it was at no cost to us. FINE! Well needless to say, my check has never been cashed, the tech never came back and I have now received 2 invoices that are incorrect as we were charged FULL PRICE after being told the second visit was at half price. I reached out to the guy that scheduled us and he said he would look into it. As of today, my check has never been cashed, I have been over charged for my second visit, I never heard back from the guy that was 'looking into it' and we still have pest problems. DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME ON THIS COMPANY!

We noticed a large hornets nest in one of our bushes and reached out to Cooper Pest. They were able to get us an appointment the next day. Between the time we contacted them and the time of the appointment we realized we also had some type of bee in our walls. When Jerry arrived (perfectly on time) my husband told him about the inside bees, and even though it wasn't part of the original appointment he took care of them too. He figured out where they were entering from outside and sprayed to kill them. He also came inside to listen to the buzzing we were hearing, went into our attic to investigate, and found two yellow jacket nests. He sprayed those as well. He was professional and explained everything he was doing, and within about two hours we were completely hornet and bee free. I'd definitely hire them again!

I always loved seeing the green car around, it has been making me smile for a long time. When I had a red ant invasion this summer coming for the cracks in the concrete in my garage I was almost happy that I had to call them. The green car did not show up for the appointment, but the fellow did come and take care of my problem in two visits. I thought the price was fair and I felt it was money worth being spent. I tried pouring bleach in the cracks but I felt SOOOO bad about it. When Cooper came, I didn't look.

Our neighbors used their service. Some how Cooper came and sprayed our property which we definitely did not want as we have chickens that eat bugs in that area and other pets that walk in this area. We didn't know this until after we let our animals out. Our sensitive animals all had to have their feet washed. When I called Cooper, they said wow, can't believe it. We will call you back... they never did. We called back, spoke to someone was told they would call back and never did. I asked for a simple email with what chemicals they used and they couldn't even do that. What a terrible company. We are against pesticide use when possible. They contaminated our land and killed creatures we didn't want killed. Our chickens eat bugs and now probably ate pesticide bugs and we end up eating those eggs. This company doesn't stick by their work. Terrible

Outstanding customer service. Cooper Pest Solutions has their #@$ together. It all started with our sales rep Merry Van Dyke who put us on the right plan when we bought our new house. Depending on how you we want to be reminded about our service calls we are either emailed or called in advance to make sure someone will be home. Even when I have had to call in to change the apppointment I am never on hold for more than a minute before getting a live person. I have even managed to get appointments within 48 hours. We try and always schedule our appointments when our Technician James G is available. He is always prompt and efficient and doesn’t mind Charley(our Labrador) following him all over the house. He was helpful at explaining ways I could enhance our current service plan and noted that the technician already scheduled to come out the following week would assess our home to see if it makes sense to upgrade. Our technician had prices for our current and possible upgraded plan and walked me through how the upgrades would help our pest issues with mouse activity. Cooper was an excellent company to work with. From the person who took the initial call and set up the appointment, to Terry, the professional who came out to address the wasp invasion, everything went perfectly. The story: I was travelling for work, and we came back home after 3 weeks to a basement full of yellow jackets. Thankfully they were not in the rest of the house! After inspecting around outside, we found that it looked like they were entering via a crack in a chimney, and called 2 pest exterminators. Cooper had better reviews and availability the next day, so we picked them. Terry called before he arrived, and arrived exactly on time. He was upbeat, friendly, and knowledgeable about the methods and treatment options. My wife is an environmental scientist for the state; he was able to answer her many questions about the products, and he customized the treatment for the specific entry locations accordingly. Beware! This company is a complete joke. I called regarding a pest problem about 2 years ago and was talked into a maintenance plan they offer. At first we were ok with the service. Eventually we started realizing that any technician that seemed competent only lasted a short time. I would call to request certain workers, when a maintenance treatment would come up. They'd let me know that the person was no longer with the company. I'd be assured that they would send someone capable. Most techs. sent were lazy and very uninterested in dealing with the problems at hand. I constantly had to check and make sure they actually did what they said and more often then not I would have to call and have them come out again to rebait or spray the things they lied about doing. After a while We'd had just about enough. They sent a technician last March who again tried to leave after treating just the exterior of our home. I specifically reminded him that I needed certain things looked at inside. I saw that he was leaving as soon as he finished outside. I again reminded him that I needed service inside and he told me he was unable to come in because I had a dog. The dog was never in contact with anyone. He was inside while the outside was being treated. I let the tech. know that I was going to put the dog outside so that he could service inside. He agreed, I went inside , let the dog out, went back to let the tech. in and saw that he had left! I immediately called Cooper Pests and cancelled my account with them. I was released to be free of their headaches until I realized they were continuing to send me billing invoices. I got a bill from June stating that my property was serviced and the I owed $105.21. I called, sure that they had made another mistake. However They called me a liar and said they had no record of me canceling the account. I was told that a tech had come last June and they needed payment. The treatment plan was for indoor and outdoor so if my wife or myself hadn't let anyone in the house to do the treatment how could it have been completed? They had 0% interest in hearing anything I had to say. The woman I spoke with was unbelievably rude! No sense of customer service, no sense of wanting to get to the bottom of the situation, didn't care about their responsibility to maintain a pest free home for my family... nothing like that. She told me she didn't have time for this and hung up on me. Cooper Pests just wants your money. They didn't try to fix the problem. They didn't even care after 2 years of patronage that I was unhappy. Rather than try to come to an understanding over $105.21, they called me a liar and sent the invoice to a collections agency! Again, hiring this company is a mistake! They are supposed to get rid of your pests... instead they became them. Since then I have been dealing with a company called Aptive Environmental. They do a much better job for about half the price. No hidden fees, no lazy workers, or nasty secretaries. We are very happy with Aptive and strongly recommend them if you are dealing with any pest problems!

I called to investigate if they were termites, and Cooper Pest was able to schedule a free estimate promptly. Deniz was able to come out a day earlier than scheduled, and was very kind, professional, and informative. Edit 2: they came back after another call Edit: calling again, and if they do come back and fix the problem we will update the review accordingly We called him for wasp treatment to prepare for the upcoming wasp season. He came and said that there were no active nests and sprayed a general anti pest solution outside. He said if we have any problems we can call him back for free. NO WOW SERVICE! NO ATTENTION! NO PHONE CALL RETURNS! NO EMAIL RESPONSE! NOTHING!! EVERYONE, DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE! First, about two weeks ago, I've contacted you guys due to a mice problem. I was told and convinced to acquire the traditional monthly plan - what I did to guarantee my family would be safe. At that moment, I was told that an exterior maintenance service would be provided around the house once I acquire the plan. So, I've received the first visit to "solve" my mice issue... the exterminator put steel wool in 3 areas outside the house and 4 traps inside. That's all he did. I was wondering what your exterior maintenance is about? That's all I'll get? That will keep my family safe? So, from start, the initial $160+tx I've paid... it's just too much for what was provided - too much! AND, he arrived around 6:15 pm.... Anyway, after this visit, I was told that someone would come in 3 days to check the traps and also bring new ones that at the moment were out of stock. Having checked the traps and that the mice ate all the chocolate/peanut butter and left the traps, I called you guys to provide an update on my issue and ask if something would really come in 3 days... after that, someone scheduled the exterminator visit... so, I was wondering if I would be waiting and waiting for someone to come......... Also, I want to mention that during this call, I have asked the person about the exterior maintenance. And, I was told that my first would occur in January 2021! I've said that this is not what I have acquired! I was expecting this to happen ASAP once we have an issue and want to prevent future problems for my family. Then, the person said that the exterminator would be doing that during the next visit... There we go for the second visit... The exterminator came, reviewed the traps. Took out the old ones and put in place new ones. He said that, once again, someone would be coming in 7 days (that would be last Thursday, Oct 29th ) to check the situation. Nothing else was performed - he stayed with us for 15min or less. AND, he arrived late again... expected during the morning, arrived at 1 pm. So, I caught one mice in a trap I have put, and to yours... other mice have once again eaten the chocolate and left the trap! It's been +12 days already... my issue persists, no one appeared here, no one called me, there is no scheduled visit according to the website... If you guys think that I am overreacting to the situation, that this is normal for you and that's what you do, I don't want to keep my Annual Plan - I simply don't want to. I was expecting a good experience with you guys that were recommended by a friend. However, no one is taking care of my issue! I still have an issue, I've paid for the service, and I don't see anyone taking care of it!

I had somehow acquired an infestation of carpenter ants at my home. Initially I had tried getting rid of them by using various retail products that I was able to purchase and was designed to kill them. The end result was that I ended up with lots of dead ants on my carpet. I was able to vacuum them up with a small portable vacuum cleaner however, after several days, I was still getting new ants on my carpets and floors (some live ones and some dead ones). I reapplied the sprays I was using and I killed some more and then vacuumed them up but similar looking pests came back again after a day or two. I then discovered a dead mouse. It seemed to me that I needed someone who was a professional in this kind of work. After contracting with Cooper, the end result was that after about a week of their initial treatment my ant and mice pests are totally gone. I have not found any new carpenter ants or mice either dead or alive recently. So I am happy!

Coopers Pest Control claims to help control mosquitoes in the yard. I signed up for a series of spraying of which none of them worked. I had my last treatment and it rained for two days straight immediately after they sprayed. I tried to call them to see if the spray would still work but I couldn’t get through for several days. They were quick to send an email about my card on file not working but can’t answer their phone for a customer service question. Absolutely terrible customer service. They continually promise to improve but never do. They don't actually schedule you for service - you have to call each time and then they don't show up and you have to waste even more time trying to get someone to come out. The technicians also don't necessarily take care of addressing all issues you point out despite promising to do so. I'm very unhappy with deciding to go with them - it's been a huge waste of my time. You can't even talk to someone unless you go through the menu as a new customer. There have been so many issues with both regular service and mosquito service - almost everything that they could do wrong they have. Update: I have a good regular technician now, and would like to keep him, but scheduling is still an absolute disaster, so I don't know if I can tolerate continuing to stick with Cooper. Everyone [by which I mean the several dozen different people I've talked with via phone and email in several branches of the company] promises that they will let you know in advance when your service is scheduled, but they don't; then everyone promises that the time they informed you of at the last minute will be cancelled, but it isn't. Just this last time I spoke with at least 5 people and still couldn't get the appointment I was only notified of last night rescheduled, despite being promised by at least 3 different people that it had been taken care of. And then a different technician than the one scheduled (our regular) came. Was scheduled for mosquito service in advance due to asking; got several confirmations it was happening, then the day of was told they don't have equipment ready until May.

What I DO like is the ability to call in at any time in between scheduled service should you experience a problem or have an emergency, and there is an On-call manager to address your concerns ASAP. In speaking to the last manager on call back, there seemed to be a genuine effort on his part to devise an alternate solution when their current regimen needed to be more aggressive.
