I used City Wildlife Control on a few occasions and have recommended them to my friends who had issues with raccoons . It is obvious that Dan Adamson is a "Raccoon Whisperer" . He was able to solve the problem of why the Raccoons were inhabiting my property. He solved it in a very humane and safe way. It was amazing to watch as he literally spoke to the raccoon. But seriously what makes City Wildlife Control different then the other companies is their incredible response time. He left us with preventive strategies and for this I strongly recommend this company.

His was the only pest control company to accept the challenge of ridding these moles. I had a squirrel and her babies nesting in my roof line and called Dan to remove. He came by the next day and was very informative, professional and an all round great guy to deal with. As the babies were still quite young and had not yet emerged, he told me in a few weeks I would see them come out and sun themselves on the rooftop. I appreciated his love for nature and removing them humanly and 2 weeks later there they were, 3 cute little black squirrels running around. When they were strong enough to survive on their own he set a trap door so they could come out of the nest but not back in. Then he sealed off the entrance. I would recommend him to anyone needing to remove unwanted visitors from their homes and feel great that it was done in a kind and gentle manner to the wildlife. Lydia in Mississauga

I had an amazing experience using City Wildlife. I called the day after I had a new roof and facia installed only to discover there had been something hidden in the attic and was now trying to get out. Dan was very thoughtful and caring and understood the situation. I had no idea what to do and he walked me through it step by step. Zero stars. Will lie straight to your face. Dishonest on just about every level, very expensive, and very poor quality, sloppy work. After they take your money, good luck trying to get them to give you updates and follow up with you. Promised photos that were never received.We did not feel comfortable working with them as the quality of work could be called into question. We have decided to look into other services.

DO NOTEVER USE CITY WILD LIFE CONTROL OUT OF BINBROOK This person was contacted to come to my mother in laws garage to trap a family of raccoons. The mother had given birth about 1 week prior and his idea was to set up a live trap. He came on April 14th at 9am and located the babies (6 of them) and placed them in a 5inch wide portion of the live trap on a piece of insulation. If you remember, on Saturday April 14th there was a large ice storm that swept the region. I finished work as an RVT at my animal clinic and came by to check on them at 12:30pm to see if they caught the mother yet. I poked my head up and I head lots of noises from them and they seemed content but cold as they had no cover or shelter. I looked at the cage and noticed that the section that the mother is supposed to get to the babies from was zip-tied closed. So the mother would enter the trap and only be able to stick her hand over the dividing wall, and not reach the babies. There was a 1 inch gap at the top of the dividing wall. I thought, well how is she going to keep them warm or breast feed them? I decided that the animal control people must know what they are doing and went back inside. I came back out at 2:30pm and looked up into the attic and noticed there was no sounds coming from the cage. I went up and checked and all the babies were silent, barely breathing, and ice cold. I opened the trap and wrapped them in my coat and brought them inside immediately. I used a blow dryer to warm them up and they started to come back to life after about 5 minutes but were very weak. I fed them some KMR solution by bottle and noticed that one of the babies had its arm torn off. There was a lot of blood on the insulation in the cage and Im wondering if this happened when they were being place into the cage or pulled out of their hiding spot. I called you Niagara Regional Animal Services and the officer took my number and said he would contact some rescue agencies. He called me back and told me that they recommend I put them back in the cage and ensure that they are nice and warm and give the Mom a chance to come get them seeing as how the storm is now much worse and she should be coming in anytime to check on them. I bundled them up in the coat but had to cut it because the space they were alotted in the cage was afar too small of a bulky jacket. I covered them up and placed a warm coat over top of their end of the cage to keep some of the heat in. I cut the zip ties off the division gate so when the mom enters the trap and pulls the division gate down, she will step on the mechanism to close the door behind her and trap her, but also be able to get to her babies. I am furious at Dan from City Wildlife Control because he told my mother in law that the mom would be able to get to her babies and nurse them. This was NOT the case and if I had not intervened, they would've surely died within the next hour. I am curious how you would trap a mother raccoon if her babies are dead? I don't understand how this is "humane" as he states on his website and why he would lie about this. I tried calling him twice but was unable to get ahold of him, so I left him a message stating as such. He called me back and told me I don't know what I'm talking about and I shouldn't have fed the babies and warmed them up. I told him they were literally frozen to death and asked him how he was intending to catch the mother with dead babies as the bait? I'm entirely frustrated because the Lincoln County Humane Society recommended this person and I just wonder how what he did is okay? Like, how does he get away with this? He is supposed to "humanely" trap them and release the family of raccoons if he zip-tied the squeeze cage divider on all four corners? Plus he charged my mother in law $450 for what would have been 6 frozen babies and no mother. High five Dan Thank you for your time, Laura Hopson
