Big Lots is a bulk/overstock store, which means the prices of items tend to be cheaper than other locations. The floor associates are generally easy to find, nice, and helpful. Items can be near dated to expiration at times so it is wise to keep an eye on that.

I just have to share the fantastic experience that I had at Big Lots in the Soo today. First time at this store. I walk in and young man who was unboxing furniture as if he could help. He assisted me with choosing a futon mattress. I was impressed that the store had 3 cushion demo of futons that my son could “try out”. Then the employee, Kyle, checked the back room for inventory. I was able to pay at his furniture checkout. And he brought it to my vehicle and loaded it in. Kyle was a pleasure to deal with! The whole experience brought the term Customer Service to mind. As we drove off I commented to my son that what we experienced was A+ service. So again my thanks to Kyle who obviously cares about his customers. My experience there made my day. I will be a repeat customer!

I received an email for an additional 10% off if you chose curbside pickup for the presidents sale they were having. Unfortunately when I selected the couch at my local store it said it was unavailable. So I went to the store told them of the issue and the gentleman that helped me was able to give me the discount no problem and they did have the couch in stock.
