Friendly staff. They have a decent selection for a small neighbourhood hardware store. I always try to buy items here, support the local store before going to the big box stores. Hours arent great. Many people work 9 to 5 or more, making a trip to the big box store occur. Otherwise my go to hardware store.

I was very pleasantly surprised at the variety of items that I discovered at this Home Hardware! They have all of the usual things you'd find/need in a Home Hardware. It's a smaller store so I didn't feel like I was getting lost down endless isles packed to the ceiling with inventory. They also have a treasure trove of clothes, wall art, mirrors, lights, trinkets and even a little candy store! The employees were extremely knowledgeable and very friendly. I'm so glad that I stopped in here. I would definitely shop here again! ????????

This is my local hardware store & for years I’ve bought countless supplies here, they’ve ALWAYS been wonderful. Today I wish I could give more than five stars. I bought a gallon of paint & I THOUGHT I’d secured it properly. I was so wrong. The interior of my trunk was a lovey shade of Everest teal (thankfully latex), after calling a few car detailers & obviously not being able to get in ASAP, I checked if they knew of one & I sent them the picture of my trunk, less than 15 minutes after leaving; the store owner came with his own shop vac & power washer and helped me get the paint out! Over MY mistake securing the can of paint. I am AMAZED at how this was handled, they even insisted on replacing my can of paint at no cost to me (again ALL my fault on the spill) which is more than going above & beyond; just WOWED

This is the absolute worst home hardware I’ve ever had the misfortune to visit in my life. And I’m sad to say that I’ve been there a few times with the same experiences. There is one younger, brunette girl who mixes paint who is wonderful, but the others are all crabby and ignorant. Not to mention nosy! My mother and I were picking up our leaves across the street last autumn and when I went in to the store to grab some more leaf bags, the old ladies were talking about us! My father went and got a key there when we moved to Sarnia. It broke within a few months and they refused to replace it! The old man that owns the place is an arrogant, old fart. Never again! Go to the other home hardwares in town - NOT HERE! You have been warned.

Bought a collapsible Santa for 35 it broke within 1 hour of 4 year grandson visit thought could return Store owner Laura explained was a final sale Since I am not a regular shopper i am not sure how I would know what is a final sale and what isnt Anyways wont waste my time walking in that store or supporting in any way.

Pretty good Home Hardware. Very clean and staff are incredibly knowledgeable and friendly. The only knock against this location is the parking and selection. Backing out onto Russell can be very dangerous when parked cars are blocking your view. The selection here is decent, better than the Colborne Road one for sure. Will definitely be back when I'm in a pinch and don't want to run out to the big store. 4/5.
