Here you have all the information of real people who used the services of Real Canadian Superstore (Pest Control) around Saint Thomas area (Canada).
At the present this business gets a score of 4.1 over 5 and the rating has been calculated on 127 reviews.
You must have seen that it has an average rating is positive, and it's founded on a very high number of scores, so we may think that the evaluation is very reliable. If many people have bothered to value when they are pleased with the business, it works.
You know that we don't usually bother to give scores when they are correct and we usually do it only if we have had a problem or incidence...
This Pest Control corresponds to the category of Grocery store.
I love that they have everything and for good prices! I can honestly say I'm not a fan of the size, it's a bit big, but great if you're mobile, if not, internet works great. Let them do the shopping for you.
Often under stocked compared to other grocery stores. Always always busy, it serves many people.
I shot through got grub, and covid 19 flu shot then flew out to go self isolate.
Lots of variety, I can always find what I need! Love the health food section.
It's convenient for where I live but is often a little dirty. It seems crowded considering current restrictions. Most staff are pleasant.
Fairly clean well organized . Knowledgable staff. Incredible selection of food stuffs.
Huge selection and reasonable prices.
Pick up is perfect, I don't have to go in and I feel perfectly safe
When I use your self checkout my bags should be free cuz I'm doing your employees work for them.
The produce was fresh staff was easy to find for assistance.. an the check out staff very polite an helpful.
Loblaws and Greg Canadian are owned by the same company why would you stop price matching? I stopped going to Walmart because they decided not to price match anymore if you don’t change this back I will also stop shopping at your store too!
Staffs are not helpful at all. Every single bill I get wrong price it doesn’t match on the shelf mounted price. Very careless staffs if you show them their mistakes they don’t accept they use to be annoyed I won’t recommend for shopping there.
Always clean, and fresh fruit. friendly staff
Love it has all the goods I need
Great staff - helpful. Good selection+cheapish prices. Trusted merchandise+fun atmosphere+free cookies(ask about allergies)-can't be beat. 3njoy.
Spacious to enable physical distancing and the shopping carts have the most unique and useful handles I've ever seen, like a joystick on each side!
One stop shop for most staples. Generally good customer service and clean atmosphere. The one complaint I have is that I WISH they had the pre-made meal selection that their Clareview store has. Maybe I'm wrong and they mostly do (I'll need to double check!) but it seems their other stores have a better selection for most items. Anyhow, I'm a regular. :-)
Cheapest groceries in Whitehorse.
It is pretty big and you can get what you want fast
One of my favorite stores .
No relish. No lettuce. But good service at till
Always a great shopping experience, employees very knowledgeable in regards to product locations, great Choices especially in the gluten free products, no need to shop elsewhere, optimum point system is second to none.
Staff member sneezing and no mask?? Many prices missing from products. Par for the course. Produce marked in price per pound but on the receipt it's priced in kilograms. Notoriously poor industry practice.
Shelves could be better stocked
Like most superstores, the prices are fairly good. It's a very large store and offers fairly good selection. However, there have been times that the produce section was not very taken care of, with stuff rotting on the shelf. This was months ago, so maybe the produce is better now. This used to be my main shopping spot until I moved from the area.
Great shopping with many fabulous food counters and kitchen offering cooking lessons
If you are an asian then this is the place to visit
We saw quite a few shoppers in the store without masks. Younger people that didn't look like they had medical conditions. This is something you hardly ever see in stores when it is the law. The management is not making a big enough effort to stop this. Makes me not want to shop there.
I normally enjoy shopping at superstore bcuz they have a wide range of different things 2 buy. There's even a doctor's office in the store and a optometrist place near the pharmacy. They have the option 2 purchase your groceries online and have specific parking lots for customers who drive 2 pickup thier groceries that are brought out 2 them when they arrive...I love that when you purchase the club size items in the store that it's cost effective. The cashiers are quite friendly and give off positive vibes... the store made chicken Caesar salads are really yummy
Love this grocery store! Their store brands are great! Their clothing line is awesome! Everything about this store is amazing!
Does not take American Express card.
Reminded me a lot of a Super Walmart. Lots of food selections at a good price.
Well managed store with a great selection of grocery and dry goods.
This is a great place to shop for groceries. It also has a lot of variety of baked goods and sugary sweets that always get the best of me whenever I go there to buy 'just milk'. My mother isn't always impressed by my lack of self control when it comes to pie but this place does help with indulging me. Great job, guys!
Pleasant staff but always long line ups. Need more cashiers. Also dissapointed they don't carry vegetarian chicken breasts anymore
Nice big store. Clean and well stocked. Would not say fantastic prices but well within the local prices for products. Fruit was slightly higher than our usual shopping outlet
I try not to go on Sundays. Very busy and everything is picked over. Aisles are always clean but when it comes to pay I never get asked for a points reward card so I can collect. If be rich by now. Then when I'm half way home I remember the points rewards. Please remeber to ask the customer for cards. I am too preoccupied to remeber
Well organized store. Clean with lots of staff. Entry could be improved to allow for better access. Good prices.
Flash food App is my best friend
Imagine if a Costco, a Walmart, an Airplane Hanger, and a Grocery Store had a baby, that's what the superstore is like. You save money because of the reasonable prices and because you can only find half of the items you wanted.
Very big superstore which have all things we need to set of with our RV for a long trip upto the Dempster Hwy to the arctic ocean. Nice and clean. Rewards possible.
Best superstore yet! Super clean! Great selection in this store. Customer service was very helpful and friendly. The produce was super fresh! I will be back!
The interior decore is somewhat on the outdated side. It reminds me of the old Safeway stores from the 1980s. They crippled the self-checkouts, trying to make them more simple by removing all text and voice prompts, instead only having icons, which can potentially render them more difficult to use for certain people. Not a regular customer, and will stay that way, at least for now.
Always well stoked shelves, friendly staff, clean store
Decided to try the online grocery pick up feature. Was a little scared but went in to clarify how it worked and the staff at the customer service desk were so nice! It’s such a breath of fresh air to be greeted with a smile. Special shout out to Ida in the grocery pick up department. Great, great customer service. She put all of my questions to bed. Great location!
Typical RC Superstore. Clean. Nice staff. Little bit disappointed they were out of potato salad but hey that's life.
It's pretty good. They have as great selection of products. Especially in the snack department. Would come here again
Variety
Best place to shop in town. Too bad they don't have plastic bags anymore.
Been shopping here for 2 years never had a problem! Very friendly staff
I started paying extra for the grocery delivery services during Covid but will not be trusting it anymore. They literally gave me meat full of worms.
Line ups were long on a weekday and the only express line developed issues that it took 3 cachiers to resolve leaving the whole line complaining and the staff giving stares instead of opening a different lane to keep the flow moving. After 10 minutes of watching from the back of the line I left without my goods.
get your on sale swimwear for Liard hot springs, stock up on Canadian exclusive chips and cadbury candy, get some jerky and five hour energy for the road at a decent price. Parking lot big enough to turn a truck and trailer around in and easy to get in and out of, with the far out parking spaces usually empty enough so you can park like schmuck and take a bunch of spaces. Ketchup and all dressed chips, Mr. big bars, and maple cookies loaded into the truck and you're on your way.
Prices a little steep, good variety of regular and speciality foods.
Terrible service. More than one customer service person told me a tv was in stock. I confirmed with more than one since I was coming from out of town. Got there and no TV. Spoke to manager (name starts with F) and he talked to customer service who said they didn't talk to anyone about a jvc TV. So disappointing that they would lie about it too. Did not attempt to make right
They have almost everything you need
Everything you want while getting your groceries. School supplies, toys and clothes as well as groceries.
This is the second time I've bought groceries through the flash food app for this location and they've "given away my order to someone else". I ordered pork ribs through the app for $19.92, went to pick them up and they were conveniently not in the locker. Went to the meat section and sure enough, they had the same package ribs with the exact same best before date and with the exact same price listed in the flashfood app just with a 30% off sticker but instead of putting it in the locker and giving it to me at the price I originally paid, they purposely leave items on the floor and throw on a 30% off sticker since the app offers a much lower price. Won't be back to this location ever again!
Love this place just know if you want to price match meat you have to do it at the meat counter not check out :)
The staff is very pleasant, however this store is simply okay. I really wish they had a bit more variety. I prefer to go into the Loblaws in London to do my shopping.
Nice store and selection is deep. Stealth camped the parking lot and no probs. Many were there with me
Good place to go grocery shopping, though for a bigger store downtown it pails in comparison to Safeway or save-on downtown. I noticed the shelves are often bare, and the prices don't seem much better. The staff are nice, place is clean and well lit, and there are lots of people so it is still a good place.
Massive lines. Why do they shut off some of self checkouts? Lines for those too. Ridiculous. Can't go in for a couple items and be out in 10 mins, no its takes a half hour at least.
Being from London we don't come here often and after today never again,an employee not wearing a mask directing people to tills, a customer walking around without a mask on i think a call to the health unit is in order this week
Always a pleasant shopping experience
Amazing staff (always helpful and very friendly), great selection, store is always clean, always easy to find what I'm looking for. Never had a bad experience shopping here.
If they sold beer it would be five stars. Because of this it makes me go to Walmart sometimes and I dislike that place very much
Great produce selection , excellent meat choices, they even have a butcher counter where you can order exactly what you want.
You find really good deals and great cloth
The only complaint I have is there seems to be no limit to customers allowed in the store during "peak" hours. Everything is typically in stock and I don't usually have to substitute.
This is a very large grocery store with a generous drug and cosmetic section. They have a pharmacy which is very convenient. The pharmacy staff are very friendly. They also sell clothing (Joe Fresh), and dishes, towels, etc. I'm not crazy about the food portion of the store because I find they don't have a lot of the things that you would assume would be in a large store. I end up going to Sobeys which is down the road in order to find the things that I need. What I like about it however are the wide aisles and their fresh produce and deli area. They also have an excellent bread section.
Good prices, but overall I've found that the produce section is particularly awful. More than once I've come across molding or rotting fruits and vegetables out on display for everyone to see. (EDIT: More than SIX MONTHS later, and I just saw an entire display full of rotting or already rotten onions yesterday. I have to go to MULTIPLE grocery stores now just to do my produce shopping due to almost every grocery store in this area having a sub-par produce selection. I am not very happy...)
Prices are better than Save-On, but many times they are out of regular food, especially fruit. Using money to get carts is annoying.
Place has almost everything you need! And the prices are reasonable
Did Las minute shopping on Christmas Eve the manager let us in 5 minutes before closing and they had what we needed thank you
Good store, fast service. Dislike how we have to ask for bags before we can use them at self checkout. Also need a swipe from the cashier if using a discount. All just adds time that you don't have if you're using self checkout for faster service
Huge shop with a huge range
I mean, it is what it is. The prices are fair but honestly the Walmart down the street is better and I’ll go out of my way to avoid a Walmart.
I like Superstore because they make you think for yourself. Better bring some bags or your pockets will be full. But seriously I think putting the onus on the shopper instead of providing you with unnecessary plastic garbage is a great policy that other stores should mimic. Also let's be honest they consistently have the best prices of all the grocery store chains so five stars is there review they get because they deserve it. Bring your kid to the bakery for a free cookie 2
Worse service. Only one till open. Manager lied the first time I complaint about the service with only one till open. He stated he wasn't sure why. This happened three times after that and discovered that only one till open until ten am and not sure at what time at night. I was there shortly after eight p.m. that's their new service. They not only expect you to pack your groceries but now also to use self serve . Soon they will only have a person a the door to check your receipt and bags .
My wife and minor student went to this store a week ago Tuesday. A customer in line became very hostile and threatening. Yelling every four letter word to both my wife and student. My wife asked immediately for security and store manager, which the staff refused. The staff then had the nerve to tell my wife if she didn't stop asking they would phone the police and have them detained. Phones head office, their facebook page, and talked with an assistance manager who assured me that the manager would call back. He tried the next day but I was at the doctors with my wife over the incident. He left a VM that he would call back and did not. Customers should be aware that their staff is poorly trained in providing assistance or calling store security. The man was waiting outside the store when my wife left and once again verbally assaulted her. Interesting that Galen Weston can send our emails on how great there doing during this time, but in reality you are UNSAFE in some of their stores. Now over a month and no one has contacted me, the manager just does not care what goes on at this store.
The best store in Whitehorse
You know what you're getting from this outlet before you get there. A LOT of foodstuffs and other sundry items at cheap prices. Peek times can get very busy and crowded but their cashier tills do seem to keep up as well as they can. If you go Sunday evening be prepared for many empty shelves for commodities like certain bread, milk and vegetables. The customer service has always been good though, no complaints there. It would be nice to see essential grocery items stocked 24/7 but I guess even the big box stores have limitations sometimes.
My favorite place to shop . take advantage of the flashfoid app and start getting some super savings along with the awesome store sales that happen every day
It has everything we need.
Good selection of organic and natural foods
Stopped in and employees where very nice and helpful. Store was clean.
Sometimes, i got a little confused of where should I get some items for they re arrange some items on different aisle. still the cheapest to get groceries
The price of bulk food BBQ peanuts was outrageous 9 dollars and 80 cents for a little bag
could do better, staff mood staff learning to bag. mannors
Always busy, it maybe the smallest store in YEG. Sometimes items are out of stock. But I like superstore, its one of my favorite grocery.
It is the Canadian Wal-Mart - reasonable low price, especially in Yukon.
Very nice store with a large section for joe fresh.
Good, I love to cook they always have ingredients I need. more expensive than the more basic stores.
Superstore carries everything I need even special dietary items which is my goal. Love the selection of ethnic products too. And the good variett of fresh produce. Not always the fastest checkout lines but with self check out, I can be and out quite fast when in a rush.
Good place for shopping.
Do all my grocery shopping here. Staff is excellent and very friendly. Stock is never an issue and the line is usually not too bad at the cash.
Long lines always
Better prices than most of the other grocery stores and a great world foods aisle.
It's my go to place for grocery shopping, mostly because the selection is usually good and even if it's a bit pricier, I collect PC points from gas and it's a good way to spend them. If Saint Thomas got a No Frills, I would likely shop there as it's a bit cheaper, but this location is always clean, usually stocked well and pretty quick. My biggest problem with this place is the people who leave their shopping carts on the grass beside their parking spot because they are too lazy to put it away. Don't be one of "those" people, y'all!
I love this store. There's always a bunch of tills open, and it's a pleasant shopping experience. Definitely better than Wal-Mart for grocery needs.
RESTOCK YOUR SHELVES!!!!!!!! I have NEVER shopped at a grocery store where so many shelves sit empty of the same products for so long. And, naturally, many are items regularly on my list. It seems that new stock may be added, sells out immediately, and then it takes a month or more (over multiple grocery days for me) before the stock is replenished!! Aggravating! If it wasn't for collecting PC points and generally lower prices, I would switch to Metro.
Good but busy
My experience in your store was excellent. Everything was fresh, bright, well stocked, and easy to checkout. Thanks Real Canadian Superstore ! ????
Love this place! Shopped here for many years. Staff are so friendly and helpful! Great prices and they price match other food stores.
Good on food supplies
The service which I received from customer service is zero. Everyone is so careless about their customer as I am working as a customer service I would like to request you please don’t do the business only for money please provide real customer service like others. Think Owner is not care about their employee that’s why they are like that follow Costco! So sorry to write like this way!
Truly a great and fitting name "superstore"...this place has everything and even has tons of allergy friendly options that are priced extremely well and even cheaper than Southeast Alaska. There are also great pre-made options to eat, including a great garbanzo bean salad. Needless to say went here quiet a bit and didn't even get to try the local restaurants.
Better than the walmeez store.
good service and various produce
Always nice to have in your back yard even if you are not up for actually cooking, there's tons or ready to eat offerings available.
I have been to this store several times. A great place for shopping and quite close to downtown. They have varieties of products including intercontinental aisle where they have a number of internationals products that you don't usually see in other similar stores.
Love their meat, great selection and fresh produce
Good selection of food. Good rewards program. Occasional bird flying around.
I hate big stores ???? But Super Store has everything you need and more and they have very reasonably priced compare to other's grocery stores in the area. Even though prices are becoming increasingly expensive as covid continues pretty soon we will all have it feed ourselves from the dollar store or a food banķ????????
The prices are generally good, but staffing is kept at very low levels and empty shelves are common.
A terrible experience at Superstore In Whitehorse. A lot of shelves were empty, there was dirt and filth all over the floors, the bulk foods dept have no cards to mark price or item number and staff didn't know where to find item cards. We normally shop Superstore in Vernon, BC and we are very pleased with the Vernon store. Our experience with the Whitehorse store tells us to never return to Superstore.
Not bad workers at self-checkout at a nice and helpful
Cheapest of all in Whitehorse
Superstore is always a mediocre time. They're produce is okay. Selection is meh. Pricing is meh. I find they're meat quality has really dropped in the last year. They've also begun charging for bags and have removed bags from the self serve to force you to pay. Here's the thing. If your store seemed to care about the environment in any other way (such as having various garbage options that are actually sorted, better bike racks), I'd be fine with paying for the bags. It would atleast be consistent. But they have none of this. It's extremely evident that they are simply money grabbing to charge for bags and I find it quite distasteful.
This particular incident at KIngsway location, at the till, I had carried a flat of Lean cuts dog food to this point and they would not scan the item as a flat, only individual cans, because the plastic wrap has been removed from the flat. They would not proceed to sell me the food as a flat. When you order on line and enter 1 can the price is like 26 bucks, so this is sold by the flat. When they bring groceries out to your car, the cans are all separate, how is this different. I drove out of my way to buy this as other stores were out of this brand. The same thing happened to me at the Clareview store and they had no issues scanning the unwrapped flat as a flat. I didn't care for how I was treated by the worker, she was quite rude about the situation which in turn heated my feelings and just wanted to get out of there. Also why would the store unwrap all the flats? Probably just to soak in the money as single sales as a flat is 26 bucks and if you buy 24 cans, it will total almost 40 bucks. What a policy scam.
I am very disappointed in how Superstore is handling the safety of shoppers during the COVID-19 pandemic. There is no cap on the amount of shoppers being let in, no arrows in the isles to help with distancing, staff not wearing proper PPE etc. Grocery shopping at Superstore was by far the worst shopping experience I have had during this pandemic.
This location has friendly staff, but the latest manager is not my favorite person. I have been shopping here ever since they opened (even before, when it was SaveOn at this location) at least a couple times EVERY week. I have an expensive bicycle, had forgot my lock at home, the manager couldnt give me an acceptable reason why he wouldnt let me bring my bike in while i did a 10 minute shop. Correct me if im wrong: bicycles arent much larger than shopping carts and are smaller than some baby strollers. I still shop there but only cause its convenient.
Fast efficient and friendly staff they had everything I was looking for in stock!
Often out of many produce and sale items
Great supermarket to shop at, they have pretty much everything you need from your basic essentials to international foods. On weekends all lanes are open, line ups are super short and the staff there are really helpful. However, some of the produce items can be pricey when compared with farmers markets. Make sure you drive careful around the superstore area as there are many people running in and out of the store without looking both directions before crossing the straight. Also, during the summer months, their outdoor garden center is really cheap when compared with other retailers.
Always a pleasant shopping experience.
Love to shop here cause the staff is always willing to help and cashiers work so hard and still maintain a smile and able to chat while you pay for your merchandise.
Decent but small inventory of meat
Love this place. I always leave buying more than just groceries...oops.. lol
Wide selection, food looks fresh and the bakery is always stocked!
I often go to this store even though it's a bit out of my way. It has fresh produce, fair prices, friendly staff, and once when I bought fish that smelled bad when I got it home, they allowed to me have my money back and replaced it with a larger piece.
I now Love shopping at this store. I lost my wallet there, two weeks ago, while shopping. I did not know I lost it, until about half way thru my shopping. Of course I panicked. Was only $15. In it but my ID, my bank card, and other very important cards in it. I looked for it at first, by where I know bought stuff. I could not find. I have severe Anxiety, do I was really panicking. I went to customer service. Someone "Angel" turned it into them. They found it right when you walk into the store. I wish I knew who it was. So I could in person thank them. There store is already great as their low prices, just can't be beat. I buy all my meat there as well as my veggies and everything else. Kingsway Superstore is Always clean and lots of staff unto help you find anything there. The washrooms are Very clean as well. All of these staff is super friendly. I heard a Supervisor praise a female employee for all of her hard work. And told her she was a Great employee. Who doesn't want to hear that! Keep up the Amazing work, Kingsway Superstore. I gave you 5 stars. Much Love and Light... Pinky
A well organized and friendly location. Easy transit access. Plenty of parking. Open late.
Thank you to the staff or whoever turned in my eyeglasses I lost . Your the best!
Well stocked, great produce section, deals to be had, love NG's rewards program - makes it more worthwhile to shop there.
Is great
I love shopping at superstore it's probably my favorite place 2 shop... they have the best deals other then Walmart...if you have a family this is the place 2 shop bcuz when you buy their clubs size products you usually get a everyday deal...plus they have coupons you can use 2 save money plus when you rip the coupon in half an deposit into the food bank box or the other 2 organizations that help the poor or sick kids..the staff is always kind and helpful plus they have a pharmacy eye doctor and medical clinic in most superstores except I don't think they do triplicate prescriptions.
Good assortment of products. They have a great selection of craft beers too!
Giant. Excellent customer service
It's like a mini mall, everything you need is under one roof
Fantastic place and buy everything under one roof
Fresh vegetables, fruit and meat. Good variety of ehtnic foods in grocery.
One of the few grocery chains that offer an assortment of vegan options but unfortunately you have to wait in line for 40 minutes just to buy them.
Great selection for most things. They are missing a few spices that they should have though, and the spices are over priced. Good fruit, veg and meats.
I love how big this store is and the selection. I wish that I lived closer because I would shop there more.
love it shop there always
This is one of the smaller Superstores in the city. Due to the size, the selection can be lacking compared to the larger stores. I am someone that doesn't tolerate lactose. The complete lactose free line of products is not sold at this store. What frustrates me about this particular store is that the shelves are not very often in stock. If you happen to go the day before, or the day of a delivery a lot of the shelves are bare.
Dec. 2021. Bags at self checkout are less accessible than the booze, the queuing system makes no sense and as other reviewers noted, they're always out of items, especially produce - today alone they were out of green pepper, fresh …
I wish I could give this place a higher rating. I actually really like Superstore. However this store has two terrible issues. First of all they are often sold out of very common ingredients. About 50% of the time I'll go shopping here massive parts of the produce section are just empty. Its. And often they don't cary certain common ingredients. The store is also fairly expensive so im not really sure what you are paying for.
Anything you can imagine grocery wise, they probably have it. Lots of staff which means the store is neat and clean. Friendly cashiers as far as I've experienced
Cashier lied straight to my face. I asked about getting the free product I was entitled to because of a sale, and the cashier refused to give it to me. She also refused to call a manager when I requested to speak with one. I had to go to the customer service desk and ask for a manager to get my product.
Superstore is all that is. Superstore is the mother and the father. Superstore is the sun and the moon. Love it or hate it. The superstore watches over all.
Busy place plan ahead to wait at a cashier for 30 mins or more! Congested parking lot and store.
Big store and lots of stuff that's sometimes hard to find elsewhere.
I was pleasantly surprised that Whitehorse had a RCS. I was very happy that the prices were the same or comparable to Toronto. The store is huge with an excellent selection. The staff is friendly and helpful. Aside from groceries, I bought an outdoor vest which was on sale. Interestingly enough I couldn't find it In the Greater Toronto Area. Go figure. If you're heading up north of Whitehorse it's a good idea (read - GREAT IDEA) to stock up on groceries. The prices can be very high up there.
Had loads of substitutions on an online order, to go inside and find they actually had lots of what I wanted, just far more of another flavour. Brutal tactic to dump stock on customers. Shocking honestly.
A primitive system where in order to get a shopping cart you need to hunt someone down to give you change for the cart. What year is this? This is what we had to use as a cart because we didn't have change.
Our every week grocery store! Sometimes there bread selection is not the best and has been picked over.
I too used to like coming here because of the PC products and Joe clothing. On my last trip the Covid protocols were a joke. No wiping down or cleaning of anything, but even worse I’d estimate a 1/4 of folks were not wearing masks or wearing masks improperly. I’ve never seen so many massless people in one grocery store. I’ll not be returning until this store takes the safety of its customers and more importantly its staff more seriously. Very disappointing.
Good service and variety of international foods
Good prices big store lot of non grocery items.
Always has very fresh produce and every aisle is organized and fully stocked. This is my Go To store for fresh produce and meats. The sales are great too.
Lots to buy but to many people that don't follow Covid-19 rules so sad.
Dr Scanga is a wonderful immigration doctor we use this location for all immigration medicals we've needed
Good service but slim picking for hot food case.
Cheap and friendly staff
Superstore never fails us
Great helpful staff but the carts never seem to be inside, so if that was fixed it would be a much more pleasant experience to shop!
A generally well stocked and clean store. One issue I find is that they usually have large orders of bread in stock, but it is quite frequently close to it's expiry date. I don't claim to be a bread ordering expert but maybe less late orders that expire before it's sold and more frequent small orders.
Easy to find most of the stuff ????
I always do enjoy shopping at the superstore. This used to be the one stop that I used when I live downtown. I've always been able to find the stuff that I've gone into this particular store for on each occasion. With it being right on top of the Christmas holiday this was no exception. I managed to find everything I needed and was out within 30 minutes of the time that I got there. All cashiers were open and very friendly to serve. We'll continue to go here if I am in the area for sure.
I like the fact there's no arrows tell us where to walk....we can go in each isle as we please...Very impressed with how they deal with covid protocols
A honest review. The store is big and wide. There’s a pharmacy, clothing and all the food you need and want. Prices are usually good compared to smaller local store. The big thing that make this place loose points in my book are the price accuracy. Every time without exception, for 50$ of groceries, there will be 2 to 3 items witch the price is higher when scan then annonce on the shelf. And I have looked many times, the law in Canada oblige the store to give you the item free if under 10$ after being scanned, not paid. Keep notes because the cashier will argue like if it would be her money ...
They made some changes recently. It used to have authentic food section but I guess since food basic is opening in st. Thomas there won't be enough demand for it. This store is the only one I go to and I kinda like that I can find most things there excpt their backing department. It needs to provide better options.
If it's your first time going up to Whitehorse you may wonder how developed (or booney) the city is. The fact that they have a full serve, full scale Superstore should allay any and all fears. Sure, there's no BR or H&M but there is the entire line of Joe Fresh to keep you modest and stylish. A stop here is like a stop at your local hometown Superstore (sans the Asian vegetables as you find in growing availaibility in the Lower Mainland).
Always a focal point of any trip to Whitehorse, load up on food before you head home.
This is a fairly new store, does not carry everything, right downtown, easy to locate.
The produce at this store is poor in quality . I will regularly come here for certain items, but go elsewhere (Food Basics or Freshco) for produce. You would think that Superstore would have better quality, but this particular location is certainly lacking in its quality of produce
Kind of pricey for a superstore. But I love the layout. Easy to find everything.
I always goes for my grocery, great place
Very competitive prices, long opening hours
Prices of many things is ridiculous!!! However, i find the cat litter/food/wet food is cheaper here than even Wal-Mart!!!
It's a grocery store......there's food and um usually people as well. Its clean and comfortable. Sometimes they don't have the thing I'm looking for and then i have to go somewhere else. If you need food they definitely have some.
Friendly staff. Not very well laid out. Almost Zero Covid protection. I will not consider returning till this is over. No, gal up front let people walk past sanitizer, no Arrows on floor etc,... just a free for all in there. Stay away until we are vaccinated, people walking up to you and around constantly. (I am compromised, so it gave me the willies.)
It's a grocery store, I guess. What do you expect? It has food and stuff. Better than Wal-Mart lol.
It's a superstore in Whitehorse. You get what you get, on don't get.
Great store. Always Clean and Excellent Staff.
Lowest and almost all products
It's a great place to buy groceries ????????????
large well kept store with friendly staff and quick checkouts , plenty of parking in east end of st thomas.
Always lots of variety and specials on a weekly basis.
Limited choices and empty shelves 3 out of 4 visits.....
This is a great store generally, and at this time (July-Aug 2021) they are offering walk-in covid shots for the Moderna vaccine in the pharmacy section. It was walk in, show health card, fill out one page of info (personal contact info and reactions to different things), get a shot, wait for 15 minutes to make sure everything is ok. In and out in 20 minutes total with nothing in hand but a health card (1st shot). You get your paperwork, an emailed copy, and done. Very friendly staff, very quick and easy process
We get all our essentials from this incredible store
Bread products mold pretty quickly after you get them home. Don't get stuff baked in the bakery. Pre packaged ftw.
not impressed.
A great place to shop.Match prices.. Close to home.Great staff helpful especially when I can't find an item.
U need it they got it, large selection and convenient location
Best prices in town for groceries. They stock a very high quality dog food made in Canada. I very rarely have to wait long in line for a cashier. Only complaint is that their staff don't know their store. Several times I've asked for help finding something and been told that it's not a stocked item only to find it for myself.
Good prices
I like coming to shop here although the lines can get long in the evening's
Great deals, friendly staff, clean and organized store. With pandemic i see staff disinfecthabdles, carts, cash areas. Love going here.
Quick in and out for a last minute supper idea. Great staff, amazing selection. Awesome pricing. Staff were very helpful.
Clean and friendly environment. Covid regulations adhered to, decent prices. Overall a good place to shop
Great store and easy layout. Management was excellent when I had an issue.
Busy store, regulated prices making it a reasonable place to shop.
A little expensive but a clean store.
Good service
They have everything you could need or want in one store. Nice, helpful staff. Good quality items.
I have been to a few Superstores in my lifetime and find that this store needs a major overhaul, the layout is really bad and their kitchenware department looks like a thrift store, looking at the outside it looks new but interior looks really old, this store needs a lot of work from top to bottom!!
Beautiful store with wonderful staff. Thanks for everything :)
Good help in the isles, at the checkout not so much. I think I'm learning that employees with attitude can make or break an experience. Nice reminder as a retail person myself.
Have not been there in over a year.
This store is so well laid out, easy to navigate, and always very clean! One of my favourite go-to stores in Simcoe as it’s a convenient one-stop-shop. I can buy my groceries in produce, and pick up a pair of workout leggings at Joe Fresh. Great store!
Placed a PC Express order, Told order can’t be picked up cause computers were down. Told that they are letting people in to shop so come shop for your stuff. On Saturday of Easter weekend. Very disappointing.
Lately they have been struck by the transport issue, some shelves completely bare some with just a few products. Add that to the overpricing and chronic griminess and the only reason to shop there is because the other stores also are out of stock. The "redeeming" quality is the click and collect program, with all its issues it does mean I don't need to go into the store.
Cashiers and managers are well behaved and helpful
I do the shopping for my parents. Our Loblaws is at Southdale and Wonderland. This Superstore is much better layed out. The two things both stores have in common are the staff are always fast and friendly.
Same old...seen one seen em all
My goto store. Good vegan selections. Lots of parking and a SS liquor store.
My go to grocery store. Many times i can find what i'm looking for. And they even price match with many other stores. I use their card and even fill up my gas with them and they always scan my card for points which after awhile turns into money. Spend and make money back to spend. Genius idea! Very busy place though. Parking can be a pain sometimes. I suggest parking far. Carts are left everywhere and they are not responsible if one wacks your car.
Big place, lots o',stuff. Always looked at like im going to steal something!
Overpriced and horrible produce. Ironic because it had a huge sign outside boasting about their great produce. Have to sign up for their discount card and need a Canadian address. Customer service wasn't helpful in this process.
Finally! A FANTASTIC organic foods section in a Superstore! Aisles and aisles of organic and gluten free packaged foods as well as a wide selection of organic fruits and vegetables, organic dairy, and free run (not free range though) eggs. Prices are reasonable and many items regularly go on sale. Discounted items are still viable, unlike other stores I've been in where the discounted produce doesn't even look fit for the compost pile.
The story is very well kept and clean, and I was able to find everything I wanted. I'm not keen on packing my own bags, but when I need something quick, Superstore is good place to go.
In stock is always a problem, especially for my offers. Staff are great for the most part.
Not sure what they do to their pre-made salads but they have a weird waxy texture. Checkout lines are always long and slow. Good selection
Mom likes coming here. Cheaper fruit& vegetables. Not milk or meat though
Small for a Superstore. Not well laid out or consistently stocked. Produce varies in quality too much. Overworked staff. Good luck finding what you are looking for. ???? May be in one of three places and priced differently in every area. Inconsistent.
No line-ups tonight. Well stocked Friendly staff. Sanitized carts and baskets.
Basically a superstore like any other in a big city, which is immensely useful for tourists stopping by Whitehorse on the way up.
First time buying compostable bags and didn’t realize they sold them in 46litre size… Obviously those won’t fit in my little 7litre container. But I guess Superstore doesn’t do exchanges or returns for them if it’s been opened. Make sure to read packaging clearly, Superstore doesn’t have your back.
Its so big. But the fresh produce is very limited so times. I couldn't find cauliflower. I find they have lots of frozen foods, but not fresh.
Helpful pharmacy staff, which was the reason for my visit. They had what I was looking for, an item which has been difficult to find in other pharmacies in town.
I usually do all my shopping at the Canadian Super Store, it's really the layout of the store that I keep going back. All grocery stores have pros and cons, but this store seems to have less cons than the rest.
handy shop although quality is not perfect
Lots of products and great prices. You can buy anything from clothes for the family, electronics and have your prescriptions filled while you have an eye exam for new glasses. Of course, lots of food which includes International fare a fabulous and huge deli section where much is prepared and packaged ahead of time. So run inside and pick up a nice sandwich and salad for lunch on your way to work. But don't forget to stop and pick up a wonderful roasted chicken for supper on your way home. They have 2 in house brands: No Name & the famous President's Choice products. All this and I haven't even mentioned you can also purchase a DVD player and live lobster for your next 'continental' meal. For all they do, I certainly do not mind that I have to pack my own bags. One tip: there is a direct taxi line phone but you have a better chance to get a cab to show up if you call it yourself. You have to pay for the shopping carts which are not gathered often enough . So grab one while you're still in the parking lot. Also, take the time to check out all the coupons offered by the door when you come in. Includes an ATM.
DO NOT USE PC EXPRESS HERE Half my order was missing got two bags of someone else's order
Well I must say the personnel there have been quite kind and very helpful. But they have such limited products there. Also it seems like the things I'm after never seem to have prices listed and I'm always having to bother someone for a price check which makes me waste their time and also makes me be in that store way longer than necessary. My partner and I both have arthritic joints and makes the extended visit to the store end painfully. So that's why I have mixed feelings about this place .... Great people but lack in making the shopping experience pleasant.
My review is based solely on the wine shop located in the store. Cheryl and all of the other associates bring fantastic customer service every day and I don't bother going anywhere else because of this.
My go to store especially the health food section which is where buy the majority of my food . Staff is usually great but a couple of the younger ones leave a little bit to be desired as far as customer service. goes . That all changed last night when one went well beyond what any staff in any supermarket has ever done for me in over 50 years of going to grocery stores. Well done .
Great location, lots of choice, clean and helpful staff.
Stock and services are great they even price match by changing prices with that in mind it affects the stock
Always busy, long lines but great selection
Average
Excellent selection. Very clean. Shot line ups.
Love this store. Clean, organized, lots of room in the isles. Always well stocked. This is my go to store.
Stuffs were in good deal and good quality.
I use PC optimum point card. It is easy to collect points and I like it so much.
Great place to grocery shop! It's a big store in a huge complex of assorted stores, close to a Canadian Tire! I like this area - sadly I'm moving away to the West End to live with a friend at the end of the month ...
Good selection of groceries, clothes and an OK selection of Toys for kids. Prices are pretty good. Toy prices are OK, some items go on sale, but for the most part, not too many deals on toys.
Good place for shopping
Not good but not bad, I went to the self check out only to find out if you pay in cash you won't get any change back. I had to go to a different line and it tuck forever
Needed a refund. No fuss, no muss. 5 star service
Love this atmosphere, nice staff and super delicious food... the pastry is amazing, crisp, light and flavourful. I highly recommend this place! They could improve their coffee making skills a little but it still tasted good. I look forward to my next visit
Great!
Awesome grocerie store, great quality foods, fantastic selection. And I always get through the checkout lanes fast which Walmart or no frills doesn’t provide.
It’s a like a Walmart but has better or equal quality items. Easy to find products and the staff is friendly and glad to assist you. Great social distancing precautions during the pandemic. Fair or cheap pricing on good items.
Good selection of food and household items, with better prices than other grocery stores. The cashiers could be a bit friendlier though. I was treated like a bother simply checking out.
Great deals, I love shopping here!
Good prices but we're frequently aggressivley hounded for the loonie in our shopping cart which really intimidates my poor wife when she's shopping by herself or with the kids. Better eat the produce quickly after you buy, odds are it's nearing the end of its lifespan.
Fairly good selection of goods and friendly staff.
Over crowded and could be cleaner. The produce is usually sub par with tomatoes that have molds on them etc. The meat is the only reason I come here although the rest of the store makes me question this decision. Superstore should improve the appearance of the store and it's employees, the t-shirts make everything look cheap. But this is why people come here for the low prices, so maybe all is as it should be.
I like RCSS but I don't like that all the specials have to be bought in multiples in order to get the sale price. I assume this tactic is to eliminate price matching. Not good. I personally dont want two of everything!
Always check the expiry dates.
Large selection, in-store bakery, friendly, helpful staff. One of our favorite grocery stores.
Loads of: Creamy dill pickle So.. it turns out I am a big fan of these here potato chips and this is one of the only stores I can find who carries them.. Otherwise this is still a pretty good superstore location.. Superstore has changed a lot over the years.. but theiir core is still there, I think I even saw someone fly by on rollerskates.. (rollerblades tho)
would have been 5 star but the shelves are hardly ever stocked of the product I go in for
I buy groceries here once in a while, they have lots of food, last time I was there I bought a 10lb Ham, it was delicious, I still have about 7lbs of it in my freezer! I'm gonna make sandwiches with it all year long
Super busy all the time leaving very little produce to choose from. Store is well stocked just limited selection.
Tara made my experience today at cash out very pleasant. Sad how empty store was however. The cost related to food is unbelievable honestly, soon the average Canadian won't be able to afford to eat
Shelves always poorly stocked and popular foods not stocked.
Good baby selection in the pharmacy. Good selection of grab and go foods. Take out pasta salad was a hit.
This is could be the biggest supermarket at North
I love people that work there so much, always friendly, helpful and fast... Very flexible and always have good deals ????????
I was just at the supper store with my mask on because it is mandatory to where one only to find half the people in there was not wearing one nor was there anyone at the door telling customers what the hell
Pleasant independent local supermarket. Has fuel, hot food to go, and is not as overwhelmingly busy as some of the other markets in town.
the dairy department is awfully organized and it is very difficult to find what you need
Cheapest place in town
I enjoy the sales and points card. Staff are friendly. Been shopping there since 2005.
I have shopped at several locations but enjoy the layout in this location the simplest to follow. I have never not found something I was needing. They offer shopping online with pick up. I am disappointed in their clothing department. I find other locations have a better selection and and much more well kept.
I'm sure there are good things about this location, but it is just so different from every other superstore in its layout I couldn't find anything.
The store has really been awesome throughout this crisis!! The staff is still so helpful and pleasant, even though so much is happening. I really appreciate the care that goes into this place. HOWEVER, the parking lot is a nightmare lol.
This is my go to place love this place
Big park inside well ventilated super market attractive groceries arrengment
Best place to shop for all kitchen items
There's not much to recommend any of the three supermarkets over any other. Prices here are reasonable considering. This one has housewares, clothes, and a pharmacy inside. Don't get your hopes up of finding anything "ethnic" or "specialty", like black bean paste, mirin, Angostura, etc.
We use the Click and Collect service and pick up at this location. Typical wait times seem to be less than the Calgary trail location, which we also frequently use. Overall great service.
First time being in a super store usually I use save on foods but there are none here. Overall it wasn't a bad store has your usual groceries plus clothes and pots and pans. The pots and pans were defiantly over priced though for what your getting and quality. If you want to save money Walmart is right beside this one.
This was a pretty nice Superstore. The layout isn't what I'm typically used to, but it was still easy enough to navigate. The sales are good if you know what to look for, and the location was clean and stocked. No complaints here!
I occasionally come from Skagway to buy bulk items and everything sold here is of very good quality and competitive price!!
Sometimes selections are not available or shelves are not stocked. It is hard when you live 5 hours from town and come to shop and things are unavailable. Not everyone lives in town with access and can come back when they restock. Food is fresh and most prices are reasonable and similar to what you find further south.
Prices are good, but staff are seldom helpful, and they're often out of many things I need.
Great shopping.
Great prices and friendly service staff. Lots of parking and clean shopping carts and baskets.
Prices are okay. Friendly staff.
Love these guys. Glad someone in Canada stood up to Walmart (I say this as a US citizen). Great selection, amazing prices.
I absolutely love the Real Canadian Superstore for my shopping. You can't beat their bakery price's, especially fresh bread for $1 a loaf. Their hot deli offers great selection if you don't feel like cooking that night. Just grab and go without breaking the bank. Great health food section for those of us who are vegan and so forth. The fresh goat's milk is a favourite in my house and never last s. I wish I could give 5 star's however...The point's rewards are pretty much Nil now that they merged with shoppers drug mart. Rarely do I rack up any points as I once had. ALSO I wish they would get in special requests for certain food's. I've tried in the past and I keep getting told they will and then nothing. Otherwise a solid store with very friendly staff. Cheers
What d'ya expected? Bright white store with no soul. But he, prices are good.
I didn't realize how much I appreciated the convenience of your store until having a child. The washrooms, dining area, lobsters and free cookie at the bakery and your safety measures should my little one run off in the store! Thank you. Now with our new lifestyle and eating habits your natural and health food section accomodate almost all of our needs and wants.
I went in to look for a last minute Halloween shirt and a pumpkin, couldn't find either item anywhere as it was Friday October 30 but they had everything I needed, and at great prices.
The pharmacist was so helpful and professional. She went above and beyond ! She may have been the only positive thing going on in there.
Great store lots of variety, but honestly I still hate packing my own bags and being rushed to pay at the same time. I tend to avoid this store because of this. To much pressure on the customer. Not the shopping experience I look for.
Service at phone center super excellent
I do majority of my shopping here. Sometimes I enjoy their products and the prices they offer but occasionally I am disappointed by their quality and selections. Often they do not have smaller packages for proteins like chicken, only large value packs with 12 or more pieces which cost far more than I am looking to spend and more than I can eat. They often limited beef cuts and no ground beef at all. They have not restocked on cleaning supplies since the pandemic began. Often they have no red onions, no green onions, no brussel sprouts no small bags of lettuce, etc. They are just frequently low on products, only have products in large bulldoze portions that are much more expensive and move their products around a lot making them hard to find because they are not in the same place everytime.
I just don't like Superstore, so take this review for what it's worth. It's too big, and too baffling. Maybe I am getting too old. Wants to be a Safeway and Walmart in one. Never had a good experience at ANY Superstore.
Best selection and typically lowest prices for groceries in Whitehorse. Staff are usually good and helpful and services offered by the store seem to be high quality.
Empty shelves, never what you want in stock. If you find a good product, guaranteed they won't carry it in a few weeks. Terrible service for the most part.
Good selection of foods. The ready to go food which I was interested did not have a hot counter. So I had to go somewhere else
Their fruits and vegetables are better than those offered by any walmart in Edmonton. Prices are reasonable and availability is good. The only problem is that the ratio of time spent in shopping to the time spent in cashier's queue is 2:1 Their self check out machines are good but they have a limit of 25 items and if you make an error during self check out, you will be treated poorly by the rude lady standing there.
Great store everything you need
They have everything!
This place, the employees are always nice and the place is always clean. Its very easy to find things you want or need. Hands down this place is a great place to shop. Groceries, ready made food, clothes, phones, PC points what more could you want.
Good prices. Produce isn't usually top quality. But you get what you pay for. Lots of selection.
What's in vegetables looked old molding lineups at the tail people working slow on the tails I had all my stuff for the matter of 10 minutes and the rest was waiting time with a sick puppy in the car waiting for Mom with Dad shelves are empty you get go to get something in there's nothing left
Great supermarket. Kept very clean and the workers are great. Shoutout to Craig, he's the man!
I really enjoy their fresh salad selection Fresh to go is also very yummy and full of selection which I can usually buy later in the evening. That I find shuts down hours earlier at other stores in the area I do however find their meat selection to be on the pricey side but the meats do look healthy and fresh Produce is rather good They also offer Joe clothing supplying various styles and sizes for the whole family The store is clean and organized with helpful friendly staff
Lots of variety, great prices
Staff friendly and helpful. Some items have gotten very pricey but find that everywhere. Mostly shop for sale items and some necessities. Some produce looked old and wilted, not very appetizing. Shopped right after the Easter holidays, looked like that may of been the reason somethings hadn't been removed. As mentioned it's pretty much the same no matter where you shop, don't get very much for $150 anymore.
Great place to find anything you need . Very cheap and with great selections . It reminded me of Walmart in the states .
Its a grocery store lol
A lot of the "marked down" items are more expensive than the regular prices at many competitor stores.
On the evening of Jan 8 I needed to purchase a large amount of groceries for my family. I did not have a loonie available for a cart and inquired with Customer Service to obtain a cart. I was told "we can't help you with that it's against store policy". I made sure to let them know that I needed to purchase a large amount of groceries and a cart was definitely needed. I was told "No" once again and the reasoning given was that "it creates more work for the staff". Their solution was that I "should make multiple purchases using baskets and a few trips to my car." ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE FROM THE KINGSWAY SUPERSTORE! I picked up a few items to last us the evening and promptly took our business to the competitor the next day. KINGSWAY SUPERSTORE is not a store to take your business to! Take your business to a store that values their customers and doesn't find them "creating more work for the staff"!!!
We shoop here every week ,you can find here good deal every time !
This place has more of a meat selection than any other store i shopped at . U can buy bulk or just a single item. I ve shopped here and other superstores .I've even worked at the nofrills in vegreville alberta for a number of yrs . These stores are affiliated. It is an awesome store.
Ok
Clean, easy, good prices , and they got everything.
Most of the staff are great but it seems like every time we go there their shelves are pillaged and it has a apocalyptic feel. The fruit and veggie section is usually pretty good but most items are bruised and root the next day. Whatever you do, do NOT online shop with them for groceries!!! We placed a 1200.00 order and instead of notifying or asking us they just automatically substituted or left off things. We had to return ALL the fresh fruits and veggies as most was rotten and the fresh meat had a weird smell
We have missed the selection of groceries during our trip up North so finding a Superstore was very welcome except they had no bottled water of any description available. Walmart didn't either. With all the summer passing through trade you would think they would order more. Staff friendly and great selection of food, cosmetics and clothing.
They got rid of the international section, great job guys, way to be diverse
Awesome place but very busy!
Good customer service (when you can find it) Often products missing from the shelves
Almost too busy. Parking would be an issue for physically discouraged. Nice clean location otherwise.
Always out of stock. Staff not very helpful.
Very bad produce and even worse managers ????
Clean but a tiny bit expensive. Good when you can get bargains.
Whether a small or large grocery shopping, this place doesn't disappoint. Moderate prices, good selection, well supplied|stocked, and I must say, improved customer service, I am actually enjoying doing business here. More than a few nice surprises in the non-groceries sections. And, you are bound to run into friends or neighbours for a quick check in chat. And, they are paying attention to the weather too - parking lot usually fairly clean. Recommended for sure! ????
you have to beg everything yourself because they're all covid or free but at the same time that teller is allowed to touch every piece of your merchandise but she's not allowed to bag it it's really quite ridiculous
Always check your receipt, bought one but scan three times, also price wan't right when check out, over charged me about $15
As far as Superstores go, I like this one. The produce section is maintained well and the checkouts are relatively quick. The only thing I dislike about Superstore is bagging your own groceries.
Great place to shop love the new click & collect service
Huge store with department section and pharmacy, which also has a drive-thru. Selection not as good as other grocery stores. IN ADDITION, while I admit my driving skills are not the best, I won't go to this store after dusk as the back of the parking lot and navigating the road up to it is way too dark for me to drive safely.
Super
Went to Safeway and ended up leaving with nothing in hand due to a 30 person lineup and only 1 till open! Headed to superstore and found the exact same brands I picked out at the first store was far more expensive then superstore! Never ceases to amaze me that's for sure and very happy friendly cashiers! Quick, happy & efficient!
The store is over crowded but the cashier was fast, friendly and super nice.
They have a decent selection... Depending on what time of the day you arrive. Sometimes shelves are rather barren, while other times staff are actively restocking shelves in the middle of the typical 16:00-18:00 rush. Produce selection and availability (especially vegetables) is hit or miss, especially with the items requiring refrigeration - on a rather regular basis (it doesn't seem to matter what time of day I visit, or which day) items such as head, green leaf, and romaine lettuce are either empty, or there's one sorry looking one left. Another area they need to work on is staffing, especially for the Monday to Friday "right after work" rush, where there aren't that many tills open. Wait normally isn't too long, but it is something to note.
The staff could be a little more friendly
Mk wonder its called stupid store....
You go there for the prices, not for the experience... Like a Walmart for food
PC Financial dude is condescending, arrogant, patronizing etc., ad nauseum!!!
Always check your receipts for correct pricing with this store. Can't seem to keep up with restocking. Don't go late afternoon or evenings on wknds. If u want produce or sale items. I prefer going to lucky 97 or farmers markets for produce.
Everything you need! My kid has a lactose intolerance so I love being able to come here ( one spot stop) and be able to get lactose free cheese, milk, butter and even yogurt. Yes it can be a little more steep but worth it since I don't have to drive around trying to find all these things. We've been coming here since the pandemic began because we saw how careful they were at keeping everyone safe:) also, love that I can get clothes or toys for the kiddos here if I need it as well. It really does have everything from cleaning supplies, party supplies, groceries, ready made food, clothes, meds, kitchen and even toys ( kids favorite spot) Thankful I can price match as well. I enjoy coming here:)
The customer service here is fantastic, quality of produce... not so much. We bought a bunch of produce a two days ago. Now its growing mold all over it
Lots of variety.
Staff are very helpful, and the place is also out well. There are some difficulties kindling certain items like udon noodles, they're in the ready made meals section for some reason, which isn't intuitive. Also it's 50/50 chance if they have Beyond meat burgers whenever you go in.
Eating out can get expensive. Worth the stop to pick up staples. Prices are comparable to across Canada.
This is a large all in one grocery store offering food (prepared or not), housewares, alcohol, pharmacy, and even cellphones. It is well lit inside and out and has a large parking lot. Produce is usually fresh and the have a great selection. I wish they had more plastic free packaging or at least an option for people trying to cut back on plastics. For this reason I gave a four instead of five stars. Bathrooms are clean and wheelchair accessible. When you get there stop by the hot counter for a fresh coffee well you shop!
My favourite place to shop! Lots of choices as a vegan :)
Not many people in the store, everyone wearing masks and everyone being friendly and saying or waving HI. Found everything I needed and out in 10 minutes. Wish they had a decent international food section. They stopped carrying a lot of things at this location, so London location is still best for our groceries, but general groceries can be found here..
Very good customer services especially Sarah and barb who work at St-Thomas, Ontario Superstore, they pick up the telephone too quickly and they are very friendly and a good Customer services type I strongly recommend Superstore in St-Thomas Ontario to everyone
Large store , variety always matter ,kids stuff is cool /Awesome service.
A lot of variety of winter clothing and shoes
Love Superstore for their Optimum Points. Free groceries are awesome and building up points is fun sometimes. It helps direct our spending planning. Wish Superstore had more consistent pricing tho... they tend to price change based on popularity. I bought their no name cookies regularly for a while and they raised prices twice on them. I stopped buying them and they're back down from $4 to $3... it's like wow, did I do that? Yep, I did... crazy I tell ya ;)
Not enough stock sometimes
Great store! They have pretty much everything you need.
I like Kingsway Superstore overall BUT I kind of resent their pricing practices. They have an item like juice for 99cents and then it fluctuates up to $1.98 the following week and back and forth it goes. Other items do the same thing its frustrating. How about "every day" low pricing instead of marking up popular items to see how much money can be squeezed out of us customers. They keep trying to find better ways to hike up the cost of groceries and that's maddening. We already pay too much for groceries and it keeps going up. Stop with the greedy practices already. If your gonna charge so much then dress up the store so its a little nicer looking and give more of a selection of goods. You give so few alternatives for things, im guessing your only selling what gives you the greatest profits instead of what gives customers the greatest selection. Walmart is cheaper, Save-On has better selections and Safeway is prettier so what's Superstore best at? They're still trying to figure that out I think. So far they're best at dollaring us to death. Other than all that I still choose to shop there every week so its cant be that terrible. The tills are efficient enough. The Pharmacy is decent and fairly available. The produce department lacks consistency and selection and costs too much. The Deli is good. The bakery is boring. The meat selection is over priced and needs more sale items. The prices at the tills often dont match the prices on the shelf but sometimes that works out in our favor. The store security suck and are sometimes obvious and rude. The cashiers are all nice and so are most of the staff. Store hours are great and so its the location. The End. LOL
It seems that Superstore has improved in having staff working on the floor so that you can find someone to ask if you need help. The one on Kingsway at least. Always well lit and never hot inside. $1 deposit for the carts. Remember to bring your own shopping bags. I enjoy the "World foods" aisle.
many ingredients and convenient self service
Big selection, reasonable prices, clean.. Very nice store..
Always helpful when prove matching. Always knowledge and friendly. This place is by far my go to place for produce as it is always fresh. They also have a whole foods section which is important for me as I am a vegan and places like Walmart just aren't there yet when it comes to whole food living.
I love Superstore! They have the best prices in town noone can beat their prices. Sometimes there out of stalk of a lot of things! But hey, we live in a pretty big town, some call a city and have only so many stores!
I've been shopping here using PC Express for about a year of so. Store management: please ensure only PC Express customers are allowed to park at the designated PC Express spots. Too many times I see people just parking their cars there.
This superstore is well kept and clean. You can find anything you need from pet stuff to food to organic food, cleaning stuff, etc. etc. The staff is also very helpful and quick at checkout.
Love this location. Lots of parking/carts available. Aisles are nice and wide AND they have an insanely large deli section. If you’re a cheese fanatic like myself you can easily get lost in the sauce of their cheese selection. Their bakery section is also huge. They have a large variety of vegan/gluten free stuff as well if you need to dabble. They have a beauty section, an outdoor area and easily 15+ aisles of home goods. Their Joe Fresh section is always nicely stocked and tons of variety but is closed currently due to covid. Regardless, just overall a great location. Self checkout is always monitored, so if god forbid the machine decides to test your patience, there is always someone close to help you out. That’s what makes this a 5 star for me. Keep killing the grocery game you majestic establishment, you.
I can always be sure that superstore has wat I need and everything is always fresh and always the best price than any of their competition guaranteed. And with my pc optimum rewards card makes for an even better shopping experience every time.
I go to the Kingsway Superstore at least once a week. I use the mobility scooter, for which I am grateful that they have one. It *was* better when there were two, as sometimes I end up waiting an hour or more. But, having said that, there was one night the scooter was unavailable, and Donna, awesome front end supervisor quickly organized staff and then made a quick run to get my groceries for me! What awesome service!! The only other thing I'd like to say is that I usually come around 7PM, as that's when I can get a ride, and the Ancient Grains bakery bread is ALWAYS sold out!! Could you please stock more of it? It's the best bread you have and I miss it!! Thank you.
my go to grocery store, great selection and nice setup. only complaint is that the lines go into the isles (which i know cant be helped, but i do like no frills que line system) and that after 5pm the produce is all picked thru and no longer fresh
Good shopping experience. Reasonable pricing too. However the price label are never kept correctly. Especially in the vegetables and fruit section. Cashiers are lazy. Twice I asked them to look up my points card with but they refused.
Love this place you can buy everything here
Hood selection of products, but you seem to pay more than other stores in area. Good rewards program.
This has become my favorite store to shop at. They almost always have what I need and they price match plus provide coupons at the front of the store before you walk in to start your shopping. The staff are friendly and helpful. The bathrooms are some times clean. The food is always priced not to bad. Sales here are also good.
I love shopping here, it's a wonderful store. The staff are fantastic and always willing to help you find everything you need.
Very good shopping store. Staff are very pleasant and eager to help you
This place has everything anyone could want or need! Organic & Ethnic food selections are the best in the city.
The worst superstore in the city in regards to product quality , but best in terms of staff (I have been to all of them) . seafood was disgustingly old , shelves not fully stocked , damaged produce out.
Good location with good selection of groceries.
They have everything that is in American stores. But they lack the more Finer Things like blue cheese. But the prices are very outrageous compared to American foods
Excellent selection, excellent service , was very impressed that the line moved quicky and the store had a staff member directing customers checking out to different tills. 100% satisfied Diffently will shop here again
They're pretty good but I find they don't turn over the shelves very well, on busy days. I do like the PC Optimum points, fairly simple to use and redeem. I find the cashiers are usually pretty friendly.
Very friendly staff and a big variety of food to buy
I like the selection in the alternative/health food/organic aisle, hopefully they expand that a bit with more choices for meat & dairy alternatives. The sea food section is pretty sad looking, live crabs piled on top of their slowly dying friends. Covid-19 measures are a bit of a joke there with how many people they let in the store. It's superstore though, and you get what you pay for.
This is our go-to weekend grocery shopping destination. For the most part it is well stocked, but like any grocery store, they do run out of certain items. Not a deal breaker because if you go early enough, you will usually find what you need. My favorite part of the experience is the fact ALL tills are open on the weekends. What a blessing! No excruciating wait times to get through the registers. Still have to pack your own bags, but I prefer to do that myself anyways. Very nice store, I like shopping there.
Has most things i need
I shop there all the time. Many tills open so check out is speedy. Great staff and prices are reasonable
You know normally I wouldn't write a review for a grocery store specifically, but I feel that our superstore in Simcoe deserves it. We've been shopping here long before this pandemic began and it's always been a neat and tidy store, and now with all this craziness with Covid-19 they managed to keep it all together. I've shopped at other grocery stores around town and some don't make you feel as safe as superstore does or keep things in order (such as someone helping you find a line to check out in). Good job superstore and keep up the good work.
Pretty good grocery store... They usually have what I'm looking for. Sometimes they get busy, and run out of stuff, but I'm not going to hold it against them!
It's a pretty decent superstore. Always has everything I need.
Busy place. Nice and clean. Love the fresh meats and bakery.
I love this Superstore. Shop here often. A bit smaller than some of the others but still a lot of selection. Always well stocked, friendly staff, lines go so fast. Wish there was a Gas Bar.
Great location, spacious parking lot. Friendly staff; quick in and out service for grocery's..
Love superstore good products service is awesome
i love shopping there there produce is always fresh and there meat is the best
Clean store, friendly staff, stocked shelves.
Great store to shop in. Large isles. Very clean. Lots of variety, food wise etc.. Prices not always the best. Still prefer to shop here most of the time.
Reasonable prices, helpful staff. Thanks for being there!
The price of fish and marine produce is going up. Now tuna, mackerel, sardine and tilapia disappeared. Need to start even the cleaning facilities for the purchases. The variety of salmon is getting reduced. The price is shooting high. The Asian variety of different marine products is now minimal. The service is nice, the waiting and que in front of the counters is increasing.
Good store, doesn't get a 5 star rating because the parking lot is retarded. The main entrance off the light on Princess Elizabeth should be closed with only an east bound entrance/exit remaining. The light should be moved up the street to the chateau Louis intersection. This would increase the amount of parking spaces and rid us of that deadly entrance/exit are that's just a cluster$@#*.
I have no idea why you would buy groceries at Walmart when this store has better prices, better parking, better selection and way better staff.
Haven't gone here super often since it's not close to home, it's not a bad store but does seem to be weirdly lacking some selection compared to other super stores I've been to.
Always a quick visit here no matter the time of day. We went on a thanksgiving weekend at noon on the Saturday and we were no longer then a usual 1 hr weekend trip.
Wow it's nice to see you follow the ontario rules about wearing masks while in doors i was just there and a lady and her two kids shopping and no masks at all on any of them apparently your so corporate that the rules don't apply
Good prices for the area. Missing a ton of inventory when I was there on a Sunday.
Probably the most complete supermarket outside of London, everything is here. Nice to see Joe Fresh, and wine on hand, as well as drycleaners, pharmacy, even healthcare. Good selection of fresh and take-out foods, as well as meat, fish, deli counters. I rarely feel the need to make the drive to London for groceries. Checkout can be busy, even with self-checkout available. Good all-round destination.
So many grocerys. So many lines.
Basically a more expensive Walmart. The bank they have is good if you don't like monthly fees.
Awsome
Good place for grocery.
This is a a typical superstore with all regular features. The store was clean and organized nicely. However, we did not find few items for our grocery which is normally seen at other stores. The staffs were friendly and helpful. I would recommend this place.
During this trip I used a self check-out till and still had a nice staff ask if I needed any assistance.
Lots of selection no matter what you want to buy. Household, clothing, gardening items. The store is always clean and the staff is friendly.
Lines are manageable. Staff is nice and effective. Store is clean.
We just tried the new service of order on line and pick up. This is the best thing ever. They brought our order to the car. And we're so accommodating. Nothing was too big a deal
Amazing store with anything you need and prices are great. The staff are always friendly and parking lots quite clean
Great place to shop & lots of great deals. PC express is an awesome service as well!!
Even though it was close to closing time the staff was friendly. I went in just for a few items. Only a couple cashiers working but they seemed to enjoy their job.
You can always tell which items are on sale by finding the empty shelf. ALWAYS. No exceptions. A lot of the "fresh" bread products are actually previously frozen. The prices on many items are much higher compared to Walmart, etc. And charging 5 cents for a shopping bag just adds insult to injury.
Easier on the wallet....good location
Never staff available if you have questions, and constantly out of stock in staple food items.
???? ???? ???? ????????
You can find HALA food is there
Check out is always a struggle
Fantastic location. Very large store in a small town.
Pretty good layout and stock. Fairly large superstore with sufficient parking, even in busy times. Quality of produce has been good, and the service I’ve received has been efficient and prompt. Easily accessible once you know where it is. Only drawback is there is no PC points gas station at this one.
A little different layout than other stores, but neat and clean, good service
Amazing selection including international brands , constantly restocking
Great place to shop with a large selection of goods at reasonable prices
Had some really good prices in house hold stuff worth checking out.
They've rearranged the shelves again. I really hope this'll be it for a while; rearranged shelves translates into longer shopping trips as I go in circles trying to find the things on my list (that I put there in the order I'll find them in the store for efficiency's sake). The only good point is that I get more steps on my pedometer as I relearn where things are. I like RCSS's competitive prices but can't understand why SDM's prices aren't the same, since they're owned by the same company. It's ridiculous how much more expensive many things are at SDM compared to RCSS; often 50%! I'm not sure if they treat their staff very well, either. I've witnessed grumbling from a few - one for being told she wasn't wearing her hair right, another told me to lie about the number of limes I bought, since they're overpriced (I didn't!) and a general sense of unhappiness; rarely big, bright smiles and happy voices. So overall, RCSS is a great place to shop with the best prices, decent quality meat and produce, and much of what you need in one place. But there are a few areas of improvement to work on. Oh yes, and clean the floor of the cooking school - dust bunnies everywhere and sneaker skid marks all over the floor. Makes you wonder...
If there's one thing that should persist post-pandemic it's people wearing masks when grocery shopping, especially when shopping for produce.
Best place to go shopping. Clothes and food all in one place. There employees are unionized, and i believe a workplace deserves these rights.
Burned by exploding battery from electronic cigarette while walking into the store. All the employees were very helpful until the paramedics arrived. Thank you.
Went grocery shopping yesterday. Saw 2 employees not wearing masks while stocking shelves. Witnessed another employee pull down mask to talk to another. Also saw employees not covering noses properly with masks. Disappointed to say the least. Will not be shopping here again as I'm concerned for my health and safety.
Great selection of different items from all over the world and lots of great ready made or easy to make things from PC brand, electronics section is a little bit skimpy but I guess can't expect a huge selection in a grocery store first store but overall clean and tidy and good staff all around.
Excellent super store... neat, clean, organized and carrying a wide variety of fresh produce beside all other day-to-day use items.
Similar to BC stores
I didn't normally go to Superstore, but this one has a great produce department and bakery. Lots of selection and the prices are pretty good, even if you are just grabbing a few things.
A huge selection too choose from here. It's only downfall is customer service. The lines are barely ever all open and the line ups can be brutally long.
Great place to satisfy your hungry stomach. Whether for a simple meal for yourself or a elegant feast to feed the community this store has just about everything you need. The produce is usually good. There is a variety of other things at the store as well: glasses, sushi, seafood, prepared foods, etc.
Loved the selection
They have recently remodeled the store. I enjoy shopping there for the fresh baked goods!!
Great selection decent prices as well as price matching, do 95% of grocery shopping here.
Best prices in town. Some items aren't in stock but wtv I can find substitutes. Cashiers are fast.
Their customer service has declined a lot. Now even if you have a FULL cart of groceries they will make you use self-checkouts, at least during morning hrs. Cashier one afternoon stormed because I gave her my points card almost at the end, she forgot to ask, I forgot to give it to her, and she started talking so rude to me saying nonsense about points missing lately and clients complaining about it etc, as if all of that were my fault. Sadly, I had to stop her with a "have a good day" in a loud voice
Just like my Real Canadian Superstore back in Kitchener, Ontario!
Good variety and helpful staff. Pharmacy staff are exceptional, very professional and helpful.
Good
Good prices but this store always has half filed shelves. Most things sold out. I know its the Yukon but trucks should come sooner than every 6 weeks.
An apple is an apple, where ever you buy it..but the staff..there is why people shop superstore.. Josie? Phenomenal..I wish I knew his name, a young bald man..again..phenomenal..in fact, all the staff I know there from shopping are kind...and exceptional..not because they have to be, but because that’s who they are.
3-stars given only because it is within walking distance; Kingsway location suffers due to it's square-footage: I am forced to visit one of the other locations for in-store baked goods (sour dough etc), it does not offer the same produce (rarely-to-never has brown cremini mushrooms etc..), nor cheese selection. My preference goes to the 137 ave & 126 street location !
Outstanding service and do not discriminate those with exemptions
Less busy then west end location. How nice.
Rotten fruits and vegetables, empty shelves. Higher prices every week. Way to go @RealCanadianSuperstore!
*Update* Regarding an online purchase - NOT store specific. My husband and I purchased a patio daybed online. We had several issues with the product itself and requested a refund/return. It was granted, but took a frustrating turn when trying to get the product picked up and the refund issued. Long story short, I was able to get a hold of Chelsea through the Loblaw facebook page and she was absolutely wonderful. In less than 2 days, she was able to not only get the product picked up from my home and my refund issued but, she went above and beyond to ensure the process ended happily. She gets two very enthusiastic thumbs up! :) Thank you Chelsea!!! I will happily continue to shop with Loblaws/Superstore thanks to your outstanding customer support and care.
This place was also very nice. I got a free turkey because I was near 300 and the cashier was very kind and helpful so I picked up a new razor blade and recieved my turkey. Superstore has better staff than Walmart. Used to work at Walmart. Never again. Lol
A big supermarket, literally I can find all here even the rare item of fresh ingredients i.e curry leaves and variety of tofu. They also serve great selection of fresh snacks dumplings etc The staff is friendly and accommodating mostly the item is sold o it quickly but that doesn’t stop me to competing back again or even ask when it refill hehe the atmosphere and the people just great to do your groceries here The cart sometime stuck and difficult to use the just push hard 1dollar throughout and don’t forget to collect by return the cart in place
Love self Checkout and they had what I wanted!
A clean and bright Superstore. It's not as big as the London ones, but it's big enough. Just about exactly right. This location also offers online ordering and pickup.
Nice staff and a clean store. I find the produce is best eaten asap!! Unfortunately there tends to be people harassing me for my cart looney somewhat aggressively. I find it very intimidating.
They call it a superstar but it is technically slim store and the Miss needed store and that out of that store you get my drift everything that I needed when I walked in there to either didn't have it where they won't be getting any for the next year unbelievable simple things as a moisturizer hair product and a pair of winter gloves they didn't have so three strikes you're out
It's not that I question myself about why I continue to go there it's because I do continue to go there and expect a change food is very cheap I have to admit but the quality is extremely cheap I would rather spend the $0.50 more for a head of broccoli then save the $0.50 and have to throw the majority of it out because of the ripening dot-dot-dot will it be back most likely because I'll need something while I'm in that area but will they go out of my way he'll know!!!! :-)
It is, well, was, a good place to go for basic groceries, but since COVID19 the shelves have been mostly half empty with great loss of variety. One won’t be getting all that one wants/needs til this pandemic is over I guess. It’s not a bad store, just not so good times. Update! Shelves are much better stocked now.
Super busy. I think the store is over capacity. People can't follow simple floor directions. Masks required. Sanitize the pin pad after use.
Great staff fair prices n very clean
Prices are too high for most products when you can get the same items at Walmart cheaper. I find alot of their fruits and vegetables go bad fast too. Their meat selection is pretty good.
I lobe how they have some stuff here I dont have to go to London for! Clean, friendly staff and seasonal section.
Great staff, pretty much has all the groceries you need, with a selection of ingredients of different cultures. Best place for asian ingredients if you live in st. Thomas.
The superstore is great it is a one stop shop for all things under the sun.
Not doing a good job AT ALL enforcing COVID restrictions. So dirty and gross in there. So many people walking around with no masks on top of it all, and super overcrowded. Disappointed.
Was good as always, but no suckers or my favorite hard candy :(
Good selection of fresh produce & very competitive club size prices. Very clean store.
Clean store and usually well stocked. Some staff are awesome like Alex, the produce manager and others... not so much. There are a few lanes that are over crowded with bins and displays. I find the produce section is usually well stocked and items are fresh. Maybe a basket with free fruit like banana and apples.... My kids love the free cookie they get from the bakery. In the end I am pretty happy with my shopping experience at this location.
Store has improved its look though now it looks like Walmart. The products are still of questionable quality and prices too high for the quality.
The stores are doing the very best they can. I got in, picked up what I needed and was put the door. Everyone was cordial and no issues
Need to do better with their shopping carts especially during winter. Shopping carts are always nowhere to be found. Thanks ????
Good value on staple products, staff don't seem as enthusiastic/happy as other grocery stores I frequent. I try to avoid the self-serve lane to help the cashiers retain their jobs, and to let them know that I appreciate them.
I was displeased with the customer service at my visit yesterday. Acknowledging your customers goes a long way. Greet them ("hi" will suffice), let them know you'll be right back if you have to step away for anything, don't stop bagging groceries to read a note from your coworker then turn your back to them and let them finish up (especially when you took your time bagging all of the previous customer's stuff while cheerfully chatting with them), and a "have a good day/night" wouldn't hurt either. I really hope my using my status card isn't the reason I didn't get the friendly service I witnessed the customer before me get. I'm giving 3 stars because even though my most recent visit was disappointing, the cashier on my visit a few weeks ago was great.
Never enough checkouts opened....
Your front entrance has smelled like body odour for years now. Time to fix it. Gross.
They have everything you need and the price is fair and everything is fresh.
Love this store . Very clean and organized . Love the wide variety of plant based options this store carries. Staff has always been helpful
Big supermarket, nice people.
Needs more tills open after 5pm.. when the "parent" rush happens.
Can be hit and miss with products. Prices are pretty good.
Great selection in all departments. Fresh is fresh, quality meats and vegetables.
Does anyone really "like" Superstore?
I like this location! Good selection and a inview large discount section, a cell phone kiosk, doctors office, pharmacy on site. Staff are polite and helpful. An overall enjoyable experience!!
Check your produce from here thoroughly ppl. Their quality has gone so down hill! All my produce goes bad a day or two after bringing it home. Im highly upset with this produce stores quality, there are gnats and fruit flies all throughout …
Layout is very difficult to find items quickly. Cashiers are not always friendly even rude at times. Challenging to find staff to assist with questions and often are not helpful. Over priced. Many rules to Price Matching. Not a lot of variety.
A great place to shop for anything that you need
Variety is lacking, especially frustrating when they don't carry popular products from brands they already stock.... The main problem I have is the food is always out of date. Vegetables are often not fresh, perishable products like smoothies and nut milks are always at or past their best before. This is obviously their business model so always check 'best before' and ask for discounts as not all, but some products do go bad. The store also seems to be arranged in a way that finding thinks is a complete runaround, why is the bakery behind the homewares? Why are the cleaning and toiletries between the canned goods and fresh food? Checkouts aren't usually too bad.
The one stop shopping place ... Need it , it's here
Staff here are the kindest and most helpful of any grocery store I have ever visited. Great selection of all goods, especially the health food/special dietary section.
Usually find what I'm looking for, but produce needs a bit of improvement, mostly on the weekends it's hard to find good veggies because they are very busy. We usually try to come Friday mornings, but would be really nice to come at any time and get good stuff.
This is my favorite superstore super center to visit. It's clean, and they have pretty much anything and everything here
Always out of two thirds of my list. Love their store brand coffee beans!!
Great location, doesn't get super busy like the other stores. Always find what I need.
This store is handling COVID procedures extremely poorly. They aren’t regulating volume of customers at a time, many customers are shopping without masks, they have not organized the flow of traffic to allow for physical distancing.
It'll do but very annoying by those who don't know how to drive???? a vehicle????, I thought most vehicles today came with those red blinking things from the rear end of a vehicle when making a left or right turn????.
Decent selection of products. Produce is good. Bakery's not that great. Shelves could get restocked quicker. Decent prices. Probably the cheapest grocery store in the area. Take the 12 to get there by transit.
Usually have what you're looking for.
Great grocery store. Tons of products and selection with the added bonus of being able to get home decor, kids toys or clothes and things of that nature. Only negative for me is the grocery pick up crew sometimes does silly things like substitute our dog food with cat food when they don't have our particular dog food.
They lat to many people in during covid lockdown in my opinion
I went to the St Thomas location today specifically so I could get things i can't get a my own small town grocery store. 6 things I wanted to get and not one of them were in stock. Sesame oil, oyster sauce, grands biscuits to name a few .. not impressed at all.
This is my usual Superstore. Usually produce on Sundays so I wouldn't recommend going then. The cashiers are always super friendly which is nice. They don't seem to care too much about covid-19 more. But I still go here because it's close to my house
Produce section and natural section well stocked. Store clerks are normally helpful. Happy to see that masks are optional for both employees and shoppers No line ups at the door which is a plus
Large local store with good prices and usually well stocked.
Always well stocked ,clean and good prices. Never a real long line
Based on this one experience shopping here today I would give 0 stars if I could. But 1 star it will have to be. I came here today to buy some groceries and it was not a pleasant experience. I got what I needed and waited patiently in line until it was my turn next to pay at the cashier. When my turn came and I walked up to the cashier she rudely said to me "uhh theres a lineup behind you" and refused to allow me to use that line. Feeling embarrassed I had to re-enter a different line for a different cashier. I was very upset at that moment but didn't want to make a scene so I held it in and decided to leave this review instead. I am not sure why the cashier acted the way she did but I did nothing wrong , but needless to say I will not be coming to this superstore location again.
Since they got rid of most of their international aisle, we have go visit 2 other grocery stores to complete our grocery list. I like having joe fresh in the store, and the home section too. However, the superstore frequently runs out of products. Half the time, there is no chicken, or any other specific product and they it’s indefinite when it will be in stock. I guess that’s quite normal with grocery stores. The staff is friendly, the points program is a plus and I love that they obviously have PC brand. Please bring back the international aisle though. At least chili sauce!
Frequently out of products I have specifically driven to pick up there. one product that is always gone is sweetened condensed milk. Prices are decent the carts are junk I ended up with one with a wheel that kept on getting stuck every 10 meters was not only embarrassing was extremely loud too..
Love this place.
Very difficult to find quality meats in the evenings.
Did a very nice job with the renovations. Always have what I need. Wonderful staff.
I like the place for the main reason that they allow Me to do my shopping in my Rollerblade. Keep in mind that I've been rollerblading for about 25 yrs so I know how to also walk with them very easily. The store is well kept and the prices are very good.
Love Loblaws and superstore, just not this one. Worst produce in the city, always stock issues. Moved into the city about a year ago and this is the closest one, but if I ever need more than a couple things I'll head across the city to a different one. Half of the produce has usually gone bad and they just leave fungus covered veggies and berries in the piles with everything else. They're usually out of stock on half of my grocery list everytime I try. Good sales though.
Drove there from Brantford, well worth the drive. Very covid safety protocol aware, follows all the rules. Good selection of products. Some good sale prices going on. Very large store so maintaining the 6ft separation is easy. There are no arrows on the isle floors which is good since customers ignore them which makes shopping uncomfortable in other stores.
Decent quality food. Staff are alright and the hot food is usually cold but its very convenient and prices are alright.
Staff are friendly and helpful but there's not enough of them...produce could be fresher and more robust..I sometimes suspect it's a dumping ground for outdated produce from stores located in cities with a higher cost of living..also don't like my favourite brands being replaced one after the other with no name products. Update: produce has seemed fresher lately (11 mo. after 1st review) however, it could be considered a scam tactic that, consistently, with onions I can buy one the sz of grapefruit for $2 lb. , or, to get a small one I have to buy a bagful. This goes for potatoes frequently also. Basic flavouring for "economc" meals will add $10 to the pot. Have to go to another store for these items now. (Btw, proper cold storage in apt.s not possible)
RCSS is a great grocery store that has everything you could ever need. Fast friendly service. They also take great covid-19 safety precautions.
Big grocery store, good products selection, but always crowded
Kind of pricey ... very lrg. store ... clothing, house & beauty ... hot food bar ... prepare salads ...
I don't like the store layout at all. It's too pricey as well. Not my first choice for shopping but I was near there.
Huge store with huge selection of products and fairly good prices. But the store is often understocked and shelves are in disarray. Store is often a mess.
The superstores are a great place to shop, and meet nice people. And always people willing to help me with anything
Best place for prices if you don't want to pay for a membership
It’s a Canadian tire.. great place for cheap tools and camping stuff
Clean and well lit. Staff very friendly. Pop by the banking centre at the entrance b4 you shop and get your PC points special discounts and extra points loaded before you check out!
You can always find south Asian cultural foods from here.
Better store then the one in Toronto
Love this store!! They have a wonderful selection of No Name items, which my family and I love better than named brands!
Do not shop here for produce. Maybe 1/10 times that I go, they actually have cilantro. It's like a miracle when I see that they have cilantro. They also run out of pre-sliced mushrooms ALL OF THE TIME. Very rarely do they have nice kale or avocados to purchase. The health foods aisle is good and always stocked well, staff is always very friendly - even when it's insanely busy.
High quality products. A bit more than other stored.... But you get what you pay for.
Great selection. Everything you need, you can probably find it here
Easy to find what you need and the staffs were very , very friendly and helpful. It was the surreal really ,because regardless that one of the items we wanted that they don't carry. They went beyond to find the store on line to show us where to go..So for us it's one of the stores that me and my family loves to visit .
Great place for grocery shopping. Everything fresh. Almost everything available here for daily use.
Not where I shop most day but still have some good deals
I was upset on my last visit to the RCSS Simcoe location this week because of the number of shoppers not masked.I counted at least 10.When questioned..one employer simply said..."that's a good mask you have on" while a second one said"there are a few I know".
This is a good store, but like a lot of stores they have less stock. I was able to find what I needed. You have to bag your groceries
I was assisting my daughter with her grocery shopping. The store seem very sufficient.
I love the Express Grocery pick up. It is very convenient, and the shoppers do an excellent job. Produce is always fresh. Meat is always good, also.
good prices
Good reasonably priced food.
Consistently the worst quality and selection of produce I have ever seen. Even worse than Walmart which is terrible. Bad service at the deli counter where I tried to buy sushi and the clerk there said there were no chopsticks nor soy sauce available and he couldn’t look for any because it was a different company that provides the sushi.
Awesome point system
I notice they jack their prices before people get their welfare checks. I also notice they do that before normal pay day. Shame on you Super Store. You think you're smart in doing that, give your customers some credit. We know exactly what you do.
Had everything I was looking for when all other grocery chains were sold old of what I was after
Shelves stocked and not over crowded
This place doesn't really even deserve 1 star! They are always out of everything......
Decent prices and great staff. Shopping is easy and comfortable to get around.
Generally clean and stocked as well as anywhere else during the pandemic. Produce staff are very accommodating when I ask for something that is empty on the shelf. I like that staff have thier names on thier shirts. Good deli and meat section. I like that they still price match. Generally well organized and I don't usually wait to checkout, but I also shop at non peak hours to avoid crowds. I like the free item when you spend so much. I appreciate the knowledgeable staff in the wine store.
Hardly ever any lines here good selection for a town so far away from everything
Clean and so organized
We had an order placed this morning at 8am. We called at 755 because they didn't have what we wanted, the person on the phone was rude and short with my wife letting her know it wasn't open yet. We asked to have the roast replaced and buns …
It's my go to store
The produce is of top quality, and they price match all the stores in the area, including No Frills and Giant Tiger.
Living downtown, I was happy to learn there would finally be a Superstore in a more central location. Formerly a Save-On-Foods, the conversion to a Superstore took an extraordinarily long time, so the long-held anticipation heightened my disappointment at the result. While I do still frequent this store because of location and prices, it is more poorly stocked and has a significantly more limited selection of goods in most categories. In the summer, the gardening/plant selection is undoubtedly inferior to other locations. For those who haven't been, be advised there is no gas bar or liquor store - overall, it is a scaled-down version of all other Superstores, which are normally pretty consistent in what they offer. There is also some amnesia about posting of prices. When an item goes on a shelf, the price should go up with it - so many omissions could make one suspect the store's intentions, though on this count, this location may not be worse than others.
I can always find what I want here. The service is good and the store is clean.
Prices are average to higher than some other grocery stores. This store had issues keeping things in stock, at least the things I tend to purchase. It's a convenient place to shop for groceries if you happen to be heading to Walmart anyways.
I was looking help, to find my grocery. The duty manager name SEVAN was very friendly and helpful. He provide a very good customer service. I love to do shopping with super store..
the store is bright & clean, I found what I was shopping for. there was no lines and quick check out
I truly enjoy being at superstore … affordable prices and have wonderful affordable deals
I find this location (127 street) is always well stocked and easy to navigate
First, it's a Canadian store. Produce is reliably fresh though I can't always just buy 2 oranges as they come in bags a lot. Fresh salad and instore bakery and full food selection and great sundries.
This place help me out over the years with my meds and a new doctor
This store is open while the other stores in the area closes. It has all items needed for everyday groceries and home supplies
I love going there. They have things that other stores don't have. Their sushi is amazing.
Man i, like a lot of people have a love/hate relationship with superstore. I love how cheap the stuff is and I can grab huge amounts of stuff for the same or less than I'd be paying elsewhere in a lot of cases. Their cheeses and deli has some good deals for sure. Prosciutto there last I checked was the least expensive I've seen at a deli and it's highly edible. Asian and international foods section is impressively sized and reasonably priced. What I hate is bagging ur own damn groceries and having to guess how many bags you need to pay for before u bag them. Feeling like cattle herded through a line trying to Huck and stuff it groceries into a bag while trying to punch in your debit pin and watching it groceries smash together into a pile while the conveyer belt moves them along is a trade off for the price I guess. I accept this fate
Less quality,
Good prices but their produce leaves much to be desired and are often sold out of most items unless you are able to go at opening. And if you do happen to get yourself there for opening, you're often left to shop around pallets of items. The cashiers are polite and friendly and doig their absolute best, the online ordering leaves much to be desired as they often get the items wrong or select produce which is either rotten or on the verge of it. The management needs to get it together to provide better training to the staff on these matters
Pretty good store clean and there's nothing that they don't have and price reasonably
Store is messy and rarely stocked.
The store is a super store. Good selection of multiple goods!
We are not very pleased with the quality of produce. It seems to happen a lot here with recalls & especially on romaine lettuce . We purchased a cesear salad from the salad bar & we got an email after the salad was consumed that there was a recall on this product. My husband was sick for 2 - 3 days, this should have been dealt with sooner. Very disappointed in the quality of food here. We might just have to drive to London from now on.
Went into this store the other day and they allow people to not wear masks in this store! Will not be returning to shop here.
Always able to find what I'm looking for and everything is fresh. Employees are very helpful.
I would prefer to do my grocery shopping at RCSS St Thomas but when I see that the staff do not have to wear masks, even when stacking produce, I do not feel comfortable shopping there anymore.
Nice big store people were friendly
I do most of my grocery shopping there. It's cheap and good quality.
The integrity of the staff here is absolutely worthy of five stars! I foolishly left my tablet on the lower tier of the cart and walked away. I was partway home before I realized my mistake. I return and asked a young man who was rounding up the carts if he had found a tablet. He said he did and he gave it to customer service. I was so floored, I hugged the young man and thanked him endlessly. I seriously do not believe I would have had the same conversation had I been shopping in a certain nearby store which shall remain nameless. I got my tablet back and I can tell you people, the staff at this Superstore are truly GOLDEN !
Still shop there often, love the points/ price matching, and they have my favourite cashier working there...but....I really want to see improvement. Please dont try to sell wilted tulips for $6, need more variety of greens, shelves need filling, day old vegies shelf not worth looking at (too poor condition) and need more high end food ex. gruyere cheese, almond paste for Christmas baking etc.
Started going there when the lockdown began. The prices are great. I can always find specials. I now shop every few weeks. I can get everything in 1 stop. Diabetic products, allergy medications and the food. You are now my store for groceries.
Good
One stop shopping. Always have enough staff. Optimum points.
Cashier was on a power trip. I was 8 feet from a customer and she was telling me to move back.rather rude.
Got all kinds of good groceries n a cheaper price
Always a great place to shop. Very clean. A huge selection. Friendly cashiers
They have a good variety but none of the employees seem to know where anything is.
The sign most not off been big enough they still over charge me after having someone check the price. Then I had to go back to show them. After they took the sign out.
Love shoppping at superstore as they have a pharmacy section and you can check your blood pressure, weight, height, bmi, also love that you can buy clothing for the family, and toys for the kids also just recently bought a Ottoman, house hold items, makeup, its a one stop shopping place to go for all your needs.
Pick up area is always quick. Not the greatest at putting items in trunk you will have to rearrange if you have eggs or anything breakable. Staff are always pleasant.
One of my favourite places to go grocery shopping. Very clean, great fresh foods and great staff.
They price match so long as you go to a manned checkout. Good variety of food, organics, clothing, housewares and general hodgepodge.
I went to superstore today to see if my previous review and contact on the Facebook page helped with the restocking of shelves. I had been shopping at the superstores looking for specific items that were out of stock for at least a month. No one seemed to know anything. One item was the blue menu frozen Greek yogurt bar in caramel. This tastes so good my 8 year old nephew loves them and only 100 calories. I was doing my shopping at superstore primarily for this item and so it impacted my desire to drive to this store. So today when I went it was to look for the out of stock items they were in. I got everything on my list and was quite pleasantly surprised. In view of this my review increased from a 2 star to a 4 star. It will be great if it stays this way????????
Rarely out of stock. Friendly and helpful staff, especially in produce, which I go for often.
Many times, I have felt that I am pushed through the cash register like cattle. They don't care whether or not you are still packing your order. They check out the person behind you and then they start on the third person, putting their groceries in your area. At the ends of the cash, there isn't enough room to move easily.
Got a bit of everything, though a bit on the pricier side. I personally prefer Freshco but it has special products others don't carry.
Love this store!!! Great prices and awesome selection!
Just went there 1/2 hour ago. No Utility Turkeys at all just $30 grade A and butterball! Bought some utility turkey there just last year. Person in charge said no Utility turkeys this year!
Well stocked place. You can almost get everything you need.
No bags in self check outs - have to wait for staff to “hand pick” out plastic bags for you VERY BAD for Covid transmission
Great customer service, a lot if options and easy to navigate... the down side is that their prices are more expensive then other leading grocers.
I simply wanted to know the price of gas... I was redirected to the gas bar where the lady said "I can't disclose the price of gas over the phone" ... long pause ... ok ... bye ? ???? go to COSTCO instead !
I had the best experience at this superstore today. It really shows that the staff are working very hard to keep shelves stocked. They had the best selection of produce I’ve seen in a while so I was able to get everything I needed. The handle on my basket broke and who I’m assuming was a manager let me leave my groceries at the front while I wait in line to check out, he even carried them up to the cashier for me. The cashier was also incredibly friendly, especially in a time like this it was the best shopping experience. Thank you!
Went in to buy chicken tenders. Multiple staff kept trying to get me to buy a deal. I didn’t want the deal. They told me 15 minutes for the tenders to be ready. I left to continue stopping, I came back, and they said because I had left, they were confused, and hadn’t cooked them because “it’s a waste”. Thank you Natalie, very much, for wasting my time today:)
Largest selection of groceries in Whitehorse, but sometimes shelves are without stock.
A very respectful store they don't discriminate against those who have exemptions or different views about the masks as no one should. They keep the store clean and organized, with a great produce section! Keep up the good work!
Clean, carts available sanitized, and hand sanitizer available at the door. Prices are about the same as anywhere and variety of brands down as per most grocery stores. Some empty shelf areas. It also seems to me that the empty shelf spaces correspond to other store specials that they don't want to price match to, but that could just be a random thing .
Shelves are often bare. Hot deli often closes early.
Ok for most staple items. Disappointed they do not carry more Canadian and local foods. Have to go up the road for this.
The requirement of a loonie coin in order to get a cart seems outdated...
Love shopping at the Superstore. Always a great selection of fresh fruits and vegetables. They could use more checkers because it is always swamped.
Super busy around Christmas time. There definitely was not enough cashiers. Line up was from the front to the back around the freezer isles. Other than that definitely a one stop shop ! :)
Management there is a joke, went to get oysters one evening and was treated like sh** by the Indian manager. Poor selection of decent produce, tons of stuff isnt in stock, especially sale items... Yet I live close so I shop there. Just wish they would hire some proper managers!!!!!
Fair pricing...nicely laid out..lots of parking and carts dont require a quarter. Got some good deals and no wait for cashier.
I was very happy to visit your store today in Whitehorse, Yukon. I found it very clean and your personnel very friendly. I asked one of the girls who work at the store about my Credit Card from the chain and she was very helpful. Thankyou muchly. Deanna
Always very long lines Most expensive groceries in town
Has pretty much everything, however I would stay away from their fish. Except for the lobster and clams, all the other fish - frozen or otherwise did not smell or taste fresh.
Got pumpkins for a contest at work. Unfortunately some rotted before staff could carve them. I do love this store though - well laid out, great selection of foods and awesome staff. They are always very friendly and helpful.
Stock levels of basic items could be improved. Often hard to find some items.
Good service, good selection and right nextdoor to Walmart, best shopping for our small town.
Great staff+knowledgeable +Good prices+ask if you need help. Bathrooms need hourly check ups- I found it overly messy sometimes.
Good stock staff is normally friendly
Only grocery store to compete with Wal-Mart on price and it has better, meat & produce selection.
Busy, staff seemed friendly enough. I feel like they are constantly rearranging stuff in the store, which can make it hard to find things sometimes. If you think you might need a cart make sure you get one before you enter the store otherwise you will have to go all the way around to the exit, leave then get a cart and come back in. The store can be a little bit pricey but it is still cheaper than foodland for most stuff and carries a wide variety of different foods. Much better selection than foodland. If you are in need of lactose free or gluten free options they have a pretty good selection to choose from.
Clean large well ventilated store, will change to 5 stars when they have taste teasers like Costco, curbside pickup is a wonderful feature
Ok for the most part. Do not like thier meat choices and is expensive. Better quality and smaller pets and better selection needed. Produce is about med qualigood sele tin of items for food and non food itemsty.othetwise rest of store has
Dirty, unorganized, shopping online was more work than going inside and rarely get a complete order right
Produce section with a lack of packaged salad and NO whole wheat bread! I throw out more rotten food from this store. They seem to sell a lot of moldy and rotting produce. Have spoken to the manager many times and it never gets better. There is a did basics opening here and I think we will be shopping there and at other grocers since the Super Store thinks it doesn't need to satisfy it's customers.
One stop shopping
Great place for groceries and household items.
Best prices in town.
I only shop here now for specific items and even they aren't usually in stock. Whitehorse is growing so I find it hard to believe that there aren't more people wanting flax bread. Almost always not on the shelf. One of the biggest reasons I stopped shopping here is items I want aren't on the shelf, produce is better elsewhere, and I'd get a dud shopping cart. Also, the parking lot stop signs aren't placed correctly and I did mention it to the local manager but as usual that went on deaf ears. Liability waiting to happen.
I used to love this store but lately the produce department has had awful fruits and vegetables. I will have to start shopping elsewhere for fresher products.
Wow! They have everything! I'm impressed!
Clean, fast and helpful. Would take time next time to look around and see all that's there.
Good prices good service but comeon open some more registers, really?
No line ups all in good shape. Cashier was very happy and nice. No problem with them atall. Found what I needed where no one less had.
This store is particularly bad for mispricing, Have had numerous times when the till charges me more than the price tag said it would be. If they were accidental mistakes, the till would randomly overcharge half the time and undercharge half the time, but it overcharges nearly every time. That implies that this may be deliberate. I tried reporting this to the head office, because this particular store is far worse than any other Superstore I've been to for that. Tried reporting it to the head office 2 times, but they didn't respond. So the head office is okay with this store's management illegally cheating to take more out of our pockets.
Good selection
Superstore is amazing, the staff is courteous and help out where they see need to do so.
I love superstore, I do. It's fantastic. Great weekly sales and a one-stop shop. These guys, on the other hand, are terrible. Nothing is ever stocked. The only departments I have ever spoken to who actually know what they have are fish and meat. Everyone else just seems like a customer with an apron. Absolutely clueless. The selection is abysmal, but not as bad as you'd think. All the product is in the back. Seriously. You want a loaf of French bread? You need to ask the staff or you'll never find it. Ground pork? In the back. Understaffed, but not because of the lack of staff; half of them don't really do anything. I once spent an hour here rushing around trying to find everything I needed. I saw two staff not on till. One of them was in the meat department, and the other was "stocking". He stocked maybe 20 bags of chips during that entire time. The rest of the time he spent on his phone. Speaking of phones, they never answer theirs. I've called this place a dozen times trying to find out if they had this or that (because it's the closest but still half an hour to get there). I have never had someone answer the phone in any of their departments. You'd think customer service or the manager's office would pick up, but nope. Nobody does, and nobody ever has. Most of the 5 star ratings here aren't really 5 star. If you scroll down, you'll see a bunch of sarcastic ones, and a thousand more to average out the rating. One guy mentioned how the noodle place next door is amazing. It actually is.
Nice and large store, lots of variety
Good selections.
Variety of items. Produce and product selections very good.
To the Kingsway store in Edmonton. My husband was in your store today and was very aggravated at the amount of customers that were not wearing masks. There was a person in your store that was not wearing a mask and was whistling all over. My husband commented to him not to be whistling spreading germs and this guy was rude and continued whistling through the store. Isn't anything being done about this kind of behavior? Why are these people allowed in with no masks? I am a lifetime chemo patient and I am very nervous of the customers that do not care about anyone but themselves. I certainly hope that it gets better. When there is that many not following precautions, is there security that can make the call to fine these people? Hope you can help Shelley Bates
Very, very busy...with long lines, however, staff were available to keep the pace up
What a big difference between London and St Thomas Superstores.... I'm completely disappointed... I forgot my receipt at home to return Joe Fresh clothes. In London it wasn't a problem...Never!!! But here I had to come back home to bring my receipt! Nobody knows anything if you ask any questions. Once I asked to scan Mum's at self checkout because they were outside. The young guy said he didn't have any codes for outside flowers... Really??? At least you can call to flower department to find out the code. You, guys, have to do something with your customer service to satisfy your customers. Otherwise you will have more and more bad reviews...
Good selection and variety. All cash registers open on the weekend. Bonus
Eye center has fantastic pricing and decent service
Does most of my groceries shopping on line, and what I like and appreciate about their on line system is they inform you beforehand of what is not available on your shopping list, and offers substitute. So I have no complaints ????
Great selection, as only superstore can supply , some amazing deals to be had
I love superstore....great prices and everything I need and want????...two thumbs up...waaaay up!!! ????????
Don't know who wrote "great selection" but 90% of the times I go there, there are big open empty spaces on the shelves. Half the time they don't bake all the kinds of bakery bread....which they do NOT make on site, according to one bakery worker, they get the frozen dough shipped to them from the warehouse and bake it on site. I think they have had at least 3 different managers in the last year.
The food is always good quality and the check outs generally move quickly it's easy for one stop shopping as well.
Not enough staff when they open
Great prices
We shop here quite often. Nice and spacious.
Very busy S.S, toi small for the crowd
Best grocery prices in town. Not well stocked and very few staff. Store always feels a little run down.
If you are in fear of getting covid ,don't shop there , very poor handling of protocols, infact im going to call loblaws on Monday as they need to know how bad it really is.
Was real happy with service, store is in the middle of a renovation and still serving customers, the new shelf Color is looking very good. Stock can be low at times but it’s still the best grocery prices in town. Looking forward to the finished look. A huge thank you to the team here. Keep up the good work.
Love their curbside service! They are super friendly and do a great job finding my more obscure items. But shopping INSIDE the store SUCKS. The clientele are rude and pushy.
This store is set up differently than other superstores. Also there is just a small natural isle, which only includes food and liquids. There are no natural soaps, creams, vitamins, or anything that is non-food. Otherwise it is a decent place.
This is one of my favourite stores. I can get everything I need at one place. The associates are always friendly and quite willing to help at all times. If I can't locate something they don't just say where it is they take you. I appreciate those little extras so they will always have our business.
The store in St Thomas is excellent. Service is great and produce, their meat and fish are very fresh. The sale prices are amazing and their price matching policy saves me from having to run around town
Same exp as i would have in another grocery store it is what it is clean and somewhat enjoyable
Great prices, excellent pharmacy, too many empty shelves sometimes and so so produce. Cheapest and best cash back points though..
Very big line up but there is not enough tills open .
Nice store with lots of produce.
Great place to shop. Great selection of food choices. Prices are reasonable. Staff are friendly and helpful.
Always enjoy shopping here... I just find there prices higher than no frills.. I really like how much organic stuff they stock...
Strange that on a Monday much of the produce was wiped out. We got someone that found a box of nectarines to restock. Maybe the pay should increase so people would show up to stock the produce aisle.
Great prices. Great selection. Unique products. Good quality clothes. Very friendly staff!
Great product, decent prices, and lots of available stock. Finding someone to help you, who is friendly is few and far between.
It is a good store to shop when a person is on a fixed income
Imagine a 5 year old had a stroke, then was put in charge of laying out a grocery store. Then fill it with dementia ridden elderly people who have no concept of time or urgency. It's what I imagine purgatory to be.
Compared to other Superstores this store is less then average. Reduced rating from 3 to 2. It had most of the expected items however the produce is below standard. Lotto counter/ customer service is usually quite rude! Cashiers are usually nice.
Its fine
Customer service staff is good. Line ups at the check out are often too long. Meat products are sub-standard.
Awesome store...staff is very helpful
I went in just for a few things but unfortunately they didnt have any allergy free sour cream . Had to go to Metro in london for that . The prices generally speaking seem way higher than other stores even compared to Metro . Yes Metro is pretty comparable in its product that they are selling .
A good selection of everything you need. A lot of variety from high end prices to the generic, cheaper prices. Hard to find ethnic foods. A huge Vegatable section and a decent bulk section.
Half the shelves are always empty. Why pay for that big of a building if you arent going to stock it? I've been ordering dry goods online, better price and no hassle.
Best prices and selection
They have almost everything I want but very busy with lineups down the isles.
The staff are very helpful and I have no trouble finding what I came in looking for. Would recommend signing up for the PC points program, those points add up quickly.
I've always had good experiences with Superstore locations but the Kingsway location is the best grocery store in my area. Its a fair bit further north compared to other grocery stores in the downtown area but its well worth drive for exceptional quality and great prices. Great for frugal shoppers when items on sale. Sales offer good discounts and are changed frequently.
This evening 6 pm after a hard day's work and it being hot, decided to go get chicken for diner well considering it was a meal deal never was it mentioned of brq sauce and it's 16.00 for the meal deal well the female that works there did not mention about the brq sauce beget and fries and chicken. We get to cashier number 1 and the young teen didn't know so we didn't buy the deal three times we gone there and each time yous have messed up if your doing coupon then the girl at the counter that's serving fries and the chicken well she should of known and said something. We are not impressed to pay more then 16.00just for bra sauce? Unreal.
Pretty neat store
Always prefer superstore. Good selection.
They have a great variety of food at great prices. There is both cashiers and self checkouts.
We went yesterday. Had a tiny issue with a gift card and the cashier had to call a manager over. Both were extremely nice and pleasant to deal with. Issue was sorted and things went over well!
Everything all in one store. Got to love that????
The customer service is poor and feels rushed. Refused to resolve the issue when I got overcharged by their cashier.
Lots of fresh variety and sales. Plenty of staff to help out. Bakery just so so. Crowded on Thursdays and Fridays. Best day to shop is Wednesday. Culinary school upstairs worth trying out.
Busy but clean
I order from flashfood and they misplaced my 6bags of chocolate. Going all the way from South to downtown 45 mins drive. And all the store manager assistant Angie says is some customer might have stolen it. So I should just apply for refund and they wont give me replacement product. Also the customer service guy was not ready to transfer my call to the store manager assistant. Very bad customer service and store. Ripping off
Great store. I do most of my grocery sh6 here. I collect PC optimum points and each week both in my email and through their app I get customized offers for points on the items I regularly buy. I find they usually have some of the best meat products compared to other stores. The only reason I only give them a 4 star rating is it always seems that when they have certain meats on sale they alwa6 only seem to have a lim6 supply. It seems that head office doesn't give them enough priority and always seems to just ship them less than what they easily sell and their $ 10 bags of the things we like are always being either discontinued or the package sizes have gotten so small that they are no longer a deal.
the cash out line was quite long but moved really fast due to the great system they have in place with friendly staff members directing the people traffic. thanks to all the hard working people ????
I like to shop at superstore because of their PC Plus program. I also bank with PC and have found that our points really do add up fast, especially if I make sure to load my personalized grocery offers. This superstore is quite big and I usually can find exactly what I am looking for at a reasonable price.
Awesome place to shop where you can earn points toward free food and items within the store
I enjoy shopping here, however this location does NOT take COVID precautions seriously. When customers are allowed to shop maskless during their entire visit with no concern from employees or management, it is time to consider shopping elsewhere.
They don't price match enough stores and put limits on price matched items. Not worth me shopping there!
It was good I shop there a lot
Love shopping I get free groceries and free stuff when I spend so much, who doesn't love free right. But best of all the staff is very helpful and very nice, produce and groceries are very good as well. Thank you everyone.
Superstore offers value pricing and fair quality of products. A decent place to get the job of shopping done. Was surprised to get in and out quickly on the weekend with their every register open program.
I like shopping at the real Canadian super store, friendly staff and store is always clean
I like the boxes of fruits that you get from flashfood. Good price and quality
Great selection of goods and I really like their new policy of opening up all the cashiers during the weekend. Gone are the days of waiting twelve people deep at the til after getting your cart full of groceries.
Everything you need, but you have to go early for vegetables
Great store on Highway three. I usually stop to get flowers for my mother and just get up to stretch my legs, however it is really a huge grocery store. They have many gluten free options, and many options for anything you want to buy. If I have the time to drive out there, it is my personal favourite grocery store because of the wide selection of food. The staff are also very nice and love to help whenever you have any questions.
The best place to shop in St.Thomas.
Great selection at large price. Asking the employees who work there what they think and the response I have gotten from a few of them is: Nice clean environment in which management thinks of you a serf. Will be fired if you speak up apparently!
Cashiers are no longer cleaning the self checkout counter or the card payment machines. They have the cleaning and sanitizing products lying behind as decor only!
The price tags on the selves are eink displays. They can raise the prices at the touch of a button.
Fruits and veggies go bad within days of purchase. New self check out system is full of bugs and is fairly slow. Nothing special. Don't have much for competition.
Store
Not really Canadian. I would rather say Real Indian Superstore!!
Very affordable everyday stuffs
I live in st Thomas and go here religiously, however I’m considering a different grocer now that this has been the second week in a row I’ve gotten groceries and brought them home to find items that had expired prior to even purchasing them. I typically pay attention to dates however when I’m in a rush I’ll admit I can over look them however the store and it’s employees should be making a greater effort to ensure the quality of the products that are on the shelf for sale BEFORE anyone has an opportunity to purchase them. I’m really disappointed in The Real Canadian Superstore. Used to be my go to now their reputation is spoiled in my eyes just like food on the shelves for purchase. Items include diary (yogurt) and bakery goods. Easily thrown away $20 worth of freshly purchased groceries now, not ideal under any circumstance.
Below average super store, not as much variety in store, as other cities, very poor traffic entrance
Clean, staff are friendly and will help find what your looking for.... and price matching YEAH!!!
Not a great store. Limited inventory as this is a smaller location. The clientele at this location are questionable at best. Only stop here if absolutely necessary and always have a mediocre experience. Staff just seem defeated and or don't care.
Best prices in town and not far away from downtown
The internet ordering service is great. Charlotte knows her stuff
Just had there brown rice veg sushi. Rice was almost raw and inedible
Good selection. Lots of produce, large variety of dry goods, hot food bar, deli, sea food counters (with live crabs), and a bakery. There is a section for organic and natural products. Joe Fresh clothing and various housewares are also available. Look out for the coupon books at the entrance of the store.
Good store to do your grocery shopping etc at affordable price
Great selection.
They cut their meat with a sledgehammer more bone chips then meat chicken as well freezer burn supposedly fresh boo
Love the staff for the most part great people. Staff selling tickets and in the Dry Cleaning area both days there could have been a little friendlier. The store is always neat and clean. Do not like that once near the meat department you lose wifi as I will not use my Data to price match.
Good selection and reasonable prices
I dont usually do these reviews but I feel the need to let others know what great staff at this location. The lady that rang through my groceries was so chill laid back and friendly I was kinda taking back . Really made my night to be treated with such kindness. 5 stars for you guys thanks.
Good shopping
Like the prices, quality, and having PC products. The check out design need some help with the self packing crossing over.
Not as expensive as Loblaw and has same stuff. I don't do a big shop there though
Clean not stocked.
Always quick in and out at this location. Never line ups great bakery goods and live seafood. Really helpful staff. Love the Kingsway location
Great sales, friendly staff, clean, fresh produce
Awesome selection of groceries, available in bulk jumbo size too. Return policy a bit strict though.
Very nice place to shop.
This review is based entirely on this stores Covid protocols, or rather, lack thereof. I agree with the other reviews here stating that this store allows many customers in without masks, and that even some of their own staff do not wear masks while out on the floor working. I tried to call the store directly to voice my concerns but was met with a recording saying they were not accepting calls. I had to phone the main customer service line to speak to someone. Interestingly, the recorded message before speaking to someone outlined their commitment to everyone’s safety in regards to Covid-19. With Edmonton having made masks mandatory in all indoor spaces some time ago, there is no reason that this store should not be requiring all customers to wear them. In the very least, each and every employee should have a mask on. We are in the middle of a pandemic, this small measure of safety and the reception is not up for debate.
Clean, pleasant store, good shopping experience and selection. Shelves can be quite depleted at times, depending on day of week, however. Fellow RVers, please note: No overnight parking permitted.
Amazing location and you can get almost everything
Good store... but they don't have bags or the option to buy reusable bags.
We have been shopping at this store in St. Thomas for many years. It is always clean with wide aisles. Good selection in products.
Busy.
Terrible store layout, long lines. The pharmacy would not check out our items we got in the pharmacy.
The only place I go for groceries in town and the cashier's are always smiling
Generally well stocked but staff are an ongoing challenge if you're not white. I'm white, my wife's not. She gets dissed regularly with out opening her mouth. Worse when she says anything. I've been right there when it's happened several …
Paid 4.50$ for a 2L of white milk that expires in 4 days... I just think it's so weird considering our countries milk is produced 15 minutes away...
Good place to shop I love their fresh baked Italian and French breads.
Always find what I'm looking for. Good selection The price was even cheaper.
Variety of groceries and good pricing.
I love superstore but this location never has enough produce, particularly cilantro. I have been there in ten separate occasions where I wanted cilantro but it was simply not available. Please order way more than you think from your suppliers.
Long lieups...not enough cashiers
Okay no real prepared food available
This store is very crowdy but it's not staffed enough. Whenever you wnat help you gotta wait for longtime and also the price check machines are not working at most locations. I guess the manager needs to look at this. The vegetable sections needs more attention. Other than that I get all the groceries that I am looking for.
Not busy when I went at 930 a.m., did my shopping & picked up a few groceries. In & out within 15 minutes. An easy in & out shopping trips.
Great supermarket
Clean, organized store. Great service. Fast and efficient staff.
Good selection for most of the cuisines, decent prices for juices, deli meats. The only issue is you need to buy in 2 or 4 for most of the items to get the cheaper price. Not everyone wants to buy 4 mayos, 2 watermelons, 10 chocolate bars...
Lots of selection at this store, big store friendly staff.
Great prices and varity
Better take your cash you.ll buy more goodies after walking around it this food place has lots of goods.
Can buy things on cheap price
Great prices, just like in all the other major cities.
Worst place I have been in Canada
Big store lots of stuff but not many bargains.
There own brand name products are good value for the money that's why I shop there
Decent service, prices are good and there products are pretty good for the prices staff are nice and very helpful and there safety measures are good
Good store good staff makes for a nice shopping trip
I found the perfect birthday cake ! And didn't wait in line at all.
Cheapest place to shop in yukon
If you eat Organic this is not the best place to shop. Lately they do not have much of a selection, They should have more staff on the shop floor to help customers
Great store. Helpful staff! Very clean.
Infinf that on average Superstore has cheaper prices then Sobeys, Safeway and Save on Foods. The produce and meat department is a hit or miss at times but their deals and selection of dried good are great! I always load up on sauces and international items here.
This grocery store has good prices and give points based on purchase
While in the dairy section, I asked a young woman named Ashley for help finding something not realizing she wasn't on shift anymore. She was 'off', doing some personal shopping but helped me anyway. She even went to check the back to see if they had what i was looking for. When I realized she wasn't working, I apologized for interrupting own time. She just smiled and said "no problem". Left a good impression!
Ok so this is not really a review but more like just what happened today after shopping there. This happened at their parking lot. And I’m just wondering if this happened to anyone else. So me and my friend went to this superstore today during 12:30 pm. After shopping, we were walking towards our car. We noticed this male (around mid 30s, darker skin, tall, wearing sunglasses, grey zip up hoodie, dark pants I think) standing with a cart full of bagged grocery(not sure if it’s his), close to our car. We noticed he stopped this lady in front of us, and he handed her a small bottle of hand sanitizer without saying anything. We walked by him to get to our car, he grabbed my friends shoulder (hard) and did the same thing to her. He did not say anything either. It made us really uneasy afterwards; we examined the bottle: it’s a smaller purell bottle, with the seal on and labels. Looked legit, but my friend said the bottle is a bit slimy..after handing us the bottle, he continued to stand there with there. As we drove away, he went to lean on this car (maybe his?). If this happened to anyone else please let me know... just curious about the motive of the guy????..(I mean during this crazy pandemic, if he is just trying to help, we really appreciate it. But just the way he grabbed my friend and without any explanation..and we also wonder where he got all those bottles..)
Stopped into the Kingsway store on our way home around 8:30 last night (May 9th) to pick up some bread. Got 2 loaves of World Deli Rye and a loaf of sourdough. Got to the till and the cashier looked at our items and said, "Tight budget, huh?" Nice...and a tad rude. We only needed bread, nothing else!!!! Then, to top it off, I get home and we that the tags on the bread are dated for the 8th!!!! Next time I will pay more attention to the date, but we have been shopping at the Superstore forever...though we could trust the staff to do proper rotation and/or put a discount sticker on the dated stuff.
A super place to shop. Clean, spacious, and friendly. Excepting of mask exemptions. I've had employees follow me around harassing me to wear a mask, even kicking me out but this place was wonderful. My new shopping destination. Amazing.
It's a super store. Much like other Superstores. Good selection and good prices. It was a good place for us to stock up on food as we are staying in a town 2 hours outside of Whitehorse where a no-name bottle of Pop was $5.
Good place to shop good people overall food is a bit on the higher side compared with some other ones but they generally have a one stop shop for what you might need as far as grub is concerned
Good but not at the standard of the stores at south.
Very busy place. Has mostly everything you need. Sometimes certain things are sold out. Still my go to grocery store.
The store has everything you need from a grocery store and the prices are good
Good selection of fresh produce, breads Ample parking. Good sushi for a grocery store
Just a big rip off. False advertising just to get you in the store
Good selection, high prices. They put "Limit of ..." signs on all sorts of things, just to make you think you are getting a good deal. Sadly your not. They are way over priced. Want a better deal...go to Safeway!!!
Love Superstore. Staff always seem more helpful and friendly than walmart next-door.
Store us always clean and organized. Staff are busy but still have time for questions. Thank you
I went to pick up my click and collect order at the scheduled time and was informed that it would be at least another 40 minutes. It would take only two seconds to send a quick email or phone call to let me know that you are running behind, and show that you value your customers time and business.
All I need in my cooking is all there
Was alfull the staff are rude and nothing in store
Good toys for kids yummy stuff lots food and good sweets.
Good value people were friendly
Thank you to the click and collect team during the outbreak! Not only did you pack my groceries into the back of my car but you talked to my socially deprived four year old the whole time and made his day. Thank you so much for the great service during this time of social distancing! It is so appreciated!
I ordered a thai chili pepper thru online shopping. They gave me 1 small piece of thai chili pepper for the price of $ 3.47 . Do you think this is a reasonable price ?
So disappointing to see that you're charging $5 for grocery pick-up. It's a pandemic. Many people are struggling; the cost of groceries is going up; we're supposed to be keeping our distance to keep others safe. Loblaws is making billions - yet you gouge your customers when we are just trying to stay safe and do the right thing. I'll go to Walmart next door who has no fee for grocery pickup.
Loved that they have hand sanitizers to use when people come in and when people leave. and I believe Kingsway RCSS is the only place that has disinfecting wipes for us to use to wipe down the shopping carts. Well done!
Everything we need in one roof
Store seemed to be messy but that's okay at nite. What I didn't like is frozen ribs seemed soft and thawed. Also a lot of price tags were torn off with product info still there
Good product choices, higher Prices then I wish
Nothing but great experience. Amazing Covid-19 protocols in place to ensure the safety of patrons and adequate active number of counters available to serve customers. Amazing store to shop at
It's a place where you can get everything you need. Literally a one stop shop. Prices are not completely out of line either.
A good place for groceries & shop around , have bakery & cakes.
Limited stock of items including extra lean beef. Also items that can be priced match are most times cleared off the shelf!
It looks like Superstore is no more. When I used to walk in the entrance, I was inspired to shop. Staff working, talking, creating salads, hot foods, sushi and fruit trays. It had a bustle and a friendly atmosphere that made me think about how those freshly prepared foods would look on my plate. I'm now greeted by a sterile carousel, single layers of packs of cheese that look like we are on ration, apparent lack of hot foods and a confusing plethora of packaged foods. I was hard pressed to find the bread I normally buy, for some reason now near the floor on the bottom of an end shelf. I'm not sure what the motive is for this renovation but it's not pleasant to my sense of shopping. And if its somehow a response to Vovid, something has gone amiss in the plan. So I grabbed my chicken on sale and went to Metro. Where I rarely shop. Get it together Loblaws.
My favorite store in town...
Good stuff, extensive choices, great produce, good prices.
Store was clean. The carts were being brought in and placed for easy access; there was a sanitizing station right at the corral and it was full and had a garbage can close by for disposal of used sanitizing rags. Shelves were clean and well stock and employees were quick to assist.
Passport photo for my 5 month old today at customer service. Super friendly and helpful.
Great sales and had what I wanted this time and shelves were stocked
I'm so greatful that this store honor's medical mask exemptions, and even more so pleased that there is an announcement that plays reminding people of mask wearing rules including to be respectful to those who cant wear one. I usually use click and collect though as I dont want to cause any problems however for the past few weeks availability for that service has been horrible! Often times booked up nearly a week ahead and sometimes I cant wait that long so I have to go in myself which is fine with me because I respect all other covid restrictions such as giving others space which is something people who wear a mask often wont do. I've been seeing other stores start to deny entry to those of us with medical conditions that prevent us from wearing a mask and I beg you to continue to honor the current policy. We wouldn't take away handicapped parking because that would be discrimination please do not take away my right to buy food.
Busy disorganized and dirty.it was a painfully experience.
Its huge and stocks a brilliant variety of options. From fruits to food from many parts of the world. I wish they would carry out consumer surveys before changing suppliers on some baked goods though. Also, some fridges are mostly dirty and you can tell they havent been cleaned in a while. With the traffic in this place, you can surely do better. Overall its a great store.
A lot of empty shelf space. Checkout line extremely slow
Nice place and diverse varieties of household goods and services.
Best place for grocery shopping
I was there this morning the front line worker's where so nice on my way out I broke in to tears just thinking how hard they work l told them it love them and said stay safe????
Carts are sometimes at a premium, and the store is tidy but the aisles aren't always labeled well. Staff are practically non-existent except the fresh produce staff. Prices are generally OK but the store isn't as big as some stores so items are lacking. Plus, the parking lot can be difficult to navigate as there is always a backlog of 5-8 vehicles at the north exit on to Kingsway.
Fresh fish wasn't fresh !!! Love the bread though. Friendly cashier.
Got groceries pick up! Darian, has the best attitude. Such prompt and personable service. Much appreciated during these Covid times.
Love the St Thomas Superstore location. The staff are so incredibly kind and helpful. The layout makes it easy to locate everything you need. I absolutely love how I get a little extra special gift for buying my groceries every week, plus I get my points.
Very busy fruit and veggies bare at times
Good store and staff, helpful service. Always seem to have it all, shelves are rarely empty of product. Deli offers good service and the hot deli has lots of good food for on the go people, wings are awesome.
Great variety and ok in price but yung staff did not care about the outside of the store trees where toppled over and I picked them up wile 3 yung staff members walked right by me and did not offer to help . I was disappointed in that
This store has a wide selection of goods. For the most part staff are friendly. It was good to see the respect and understanding shown to people who are not able to wear masks.. Such a relief to be shopping and not have to be discriminated against and made to feel like a leper. Great job guys and five stars.
A new experience for us. It seems like a WinCo store back in USA.
very friendly staffs..well organized merchandise and lots of items to choose from.there's always a great deals everytime i shop here..
Good prices and the staff is friendly. I love shopping at superstore ????.
dairy (specificaly milk) dept. has always been terrible. many products past due dates. spillage not cleaned up properly. many times, I have to go to another store to get fresh milk....may be time to try another store.
It's been quite awhile since I've shopped at Superstore, found some fantastic deals and collected all my points. I love shopping at places that give you rewards so that you can cash them in when you need groceries but are broke lol.
I really like the shopping cart. The handles are awesome. No deposit either! Good selection, great store
It's a Superstore. What can you say.
Good atmosphere, sure like the self check out, fare prices
They always have what I need, and prices are good. We live nearby and we use the place like a convenience store. When I have my stuff it's always easy to pay and make a quick exit. They don't waste my time
My favourite grocery store by far. They keep produce fresh, it's clean, price match, and it's a one stop shop. Free small wedges keep the kids happy while I shop. I've used their online grocery service and it was quick and easy.
Download the flashfoods app, it's so useful!
Very clean and well laid out.
Big store, and busy. Prices generally were good, selection okay. Sometimes hard to find things, but lots of staff and they were somewhat helpful. You need to be prepared to spend a lot of time there if you want to do a major shopping.
Great place to grocery shop and buy clothes you might need at the same time!
this is a very poorly stocked store and a majority of the employees are uncaring, rude and at times just nasty
Much bigger then you'd expect, loads of products and great prices/sales. My fav place for meat.
This place is not as good as other stores I have been to... had no Ricotta for my lasagna.... felt like there wasn't enough space between me the other ppl in store ????
I hope those invested in the corporation enjoy their homes abroad and their fun toys while we the consumer struggle to support their lifestyle.
Great prices selection and service. Thank you, john
Clean spacious aisles. Great selection. Courteous professional staff.
Has Rx, and great sales. Competes with Costco on price but smaller amounts.
Great prices
I have been coming to this store from a really long time. Since this location is walking distance from my home, we prefer this location the most. This will be the first time I am posting a review about Real Canadian Superstore. Came for shopping today and an associate name 'Savi' exceeded our expectations. She was courteous and professional. She informed us about the offer if we spend more than $250, it will qualify us for a gift. Thank you Savi. We love Real Canadian Superstore and it will always be among our favorite place to shop.
The price labels in the produce section do not make sense at all. Things are poorly labeled and you have to ask lots of questions to understand what the actual price is. The homeware department is not bad though. It seemed as though they did not have enough staff available to ask questions when needed, you should not have to track someone down to get what you are looking for. Also some things are very cheap yet others crazy expensive, this store has to get it together and decide what it wants to be.
A convenient location, though the parking options are not great, unless you have a handicap placcard. Never go on a Sunday, the shelves are bare every week on Sunday. Just another standard Superstore location. It will handle your shopping needs, as long as it isn't Sunday.
I hate Super Store and this location is the worst. Parking lot hosts the worst drivers. Items are always missing on orders. Quality on produce and protein is poor. A AAA roast couldn't be chewier. Produce is significantly bruised. I'm fed up. I'll drive the distance for Save On Foods.
Has everything u need
Their "flashfood" program is awesome. Most innovative thing I've seen come from a grocery store. Saves throwing so much food out!!!
Always friendly service. Clean store nice wide isles, and fantastic variety.
Real Canadian Rude store. Staff was rude and quick to point out deli was closed i was just browsing not asking for help or questions. Self checkouts scanned wrong prices and didn't recognize bread at all. Attendant grabbed the item and scanned it like i was causing a delay in lineup. Either they are rude or racist, or both. It's stores like these that force me to Wal-Mart. Avoid this location and go to cheaper and friendlier Wal-Mart located right next to it.
Largest grocery in Whitehorse...good selection good location for shoppers.
Always have what you need for groceries.
They have all that we need and they are very helpful
Clean and well organised store. The staff vary from exceptional to less then friendly. If you price match then it's worth the trip as it can be pricy
lots off things good grocery store great place too shop
Good, always find what we need it. We like bakery here
Always everything I need
This place seems to not use common sense with most of their policies.
Run of the mill superstore. Large selection of items . Super friendly cashier
self check is nice for quick trips
Best grocery store for meat department
Really fast checkout on Sunday afternoon! Still out of PC Extra Meaty dry cat food after 2 visits.
This is very nice place for international food , economic and Good condition fresh , and clean very good attention.
This is a great store, it is a superstore so they carry a wide variety of products. There are less expensive stores but this seems like the best balance between price and quality products (specifically for produce). When doing the curbside pickup grocery orders they are very quick and efficient. This store is also in a great location right beside Canadian tire and Walmart so you can get all of your stops done quickly
Best prices in town on most items. Great selection of all kinds of items. Low prices definitely help the lower income people of Whitehorse and surrounding area.
Canadian Fred Walmart Meyers... ish.
THIS STORE IS UNSAFE. I was in superstore location today. When I walked in, 2 other people walked in with no masks and no one stopped them. I passed several people walking around with no mask at all. Several others had their mask around their neck including a stock boy filling the shelves. I went up to the customer service to complain and the clerk was standing out front of customer service desk with out a mask. There was a security guard at the exit door as people left but no one on the entrance as I watched yet another person walk right in with out a mask. . I see the last review of this store 3 weeks ago had the same complaint. Nothing appears to have been changed in the past 3 weeks. Perhaps this store has become known for its very lax observance of the law and has become a haven for people wishing to flout the law. Certainly the store does not appear to be enforcing the Edmonton by-law.
Love the points I get..!
Superstore use to be a great place to get deals and it was worth it having to buy in 2 or 3 OFS and pack your own groceries now they aren't their prices are the same or higher
This is likely the biggest grocery store in St. Thomas and surrounding area. So, the selection is great. And there is a good selection of house wares, clothing and a large pharmacy. The prices are middle of the road, but if you want to get all your shopping done in one place, Real Canadian Superstore is the right place.
Long line ups, old produce and a chaotic parking lot .
All these points are true as of Dec 2016 and prior - Staff are over worked and underpaid mostly minimum wage - No appreciation for staff that do a good job - Poor cleanliness, we have rats - Poor inventory system - Very meaningless Corporate Social Responsibility despite making off the chart profits - Does not really benefit the society it serves (Whitehorse)
Had a lot of everything
Awesome location. Very large store great selection.
Everything in one place.Happy people place.
Excellent deli and very fresh fruit. Wide variety, huge pharmacy.
This superstore has great staff, but there are some reasons I'd rather go elsewhere. 1) someone ALWAYS harasses you to buy a MasterCard, it actually ruins my shopping experience Everytime 2) the meat selection is substandard to St. Albert location 3) not always stocked fully 4)the parking lot was designed by a psychopath haha Other than that, it's conveniently close.
Well laid out and easy to navigate. As a parent, I am always thankful for the free cookie while you shop for children, and also the Click and Collect service, which is way better than packing kids in and out of car seats on a busy day.
Need to have someone assigned to go about several times a day picking up odd items people leave on wrong shelves. I noted bag of small carrots on Kleenex shelf 24hrs still not put back. I noticed these things because I shop daily?!?!
Great selection! Excellent value! And love the click and collect feature!
I do like this store to grab my food and Things. However, It was very disappointed customer service the lady on the self check out at 9:10PM Jun27. I am a regular customer of this location that I never had any problem with but the lady as employee a moment ago talking me to trying let me know about scanning the item that I never asked to help for. It was okay, I knew she tried to help. But the way she talk to me wasn't so nice like superior on military service or bossy. You guys have a better way to help your customer I believe.
Everything went well
Always packed. Not enough tills open
Good Whitehorse prices, like the $25 'gift' for purchases totalling $250 or more, pleasant staff, insufficient number of cashiers at busy times
Sometimes I think the produce section needs a little love and diversity but otherwise this location is what you would typically expect from a superstore.
Whitehorse Super Store has always had a friendly staff. If I cannot find something there is some near buy to help. The people working seem like they want to work. Thank you to the staff of Super Store
I get food here, SupaStore has good food ????
Great food selection. Great produce.
Customer service was great. Clean well stocked store
I. Shop here all the time and normally I am happy but today went to the seafood deli and ask for a whitefish and was told to come back In a bit. WENT back and waited for about 45 minutes and then someone finally paged the lady and she said that there was no more BY FAR THE WORST SERVICE I HAVE EVER SEEN. I AM CONSIDERING NEVER SHOPPING THERE AGAIN I plan on phoning there head office tomorrow
Staff very friendly and helpful would shop for specials here anytime
I usually manage to find erything I need and the staff are incredibly helpful. There's usually staff stocking up on produce and they are always happy to check the back for items I'm looking for. Lines Move quickly and their reward program is awesome. My only complaint is the bakery doesn't have fancy desserts like other grocery stores.
I love this Superstore in St Albert, great service, selection, and very well run, I have never stood in line for more than a few minutes.
Its a grocery store. Multiple businesses in store. Everything for the general public. Its a Superstore. What more can I say. Try it. You will come back time after time
Didn't have all the things I wanted the people were really nice
All checkouts open on weekends... Great selection usually but produce section needs to be stocked more often... Hot food and sushi counters make for a quick easy affordable meal on lazy nights.
Watched a superstore employee go to the bathroom today and neglect to wash their hands absolutely disgusting.
